Above everything else, Cole is always
confident
, cool and collected. His position as a leader he feels demands that confidence and to waver would be to betray his position. Likely due to the confidence he has, you’ll rarely find Cole stressed or feeling pressure, his general demeanor is always
relaxed
. Sometimes his relaxed demeanor can come across as him not taking things seriously, even when the situation demands it, though he personally views this as an asset. Cole is also very
friendly
and can make conversation or hang out with just about anybody. He doesn’t prejudge and often gives others the benefit of the doubt. That being said, Cole also jumps at any opportunity to have a battle and sometimes even presents it as an icebreaker for getting to know somebody.

Virtues: Strong-willed, confident, friendly, calm, compassionate
Vices: Too trusting, doesn’t take thing seriously, battle-hungry
Fears: Drowning: A bit ironic but a genuine fear he does have. This never stops him from enjoying his time in the water but it is something he thinks about.
Illness: One of Cole’s biggest fears is being sick, especially debilitating illnesse.
Darkness: A bit childish but Cole is afraid of the dark and often sleeps with electronics on such as a tv or lamps.

h

istory

Cole was born in Nimbasa City in the Unova region to June and Victor Belridge. His mother was a respected performer in the popular Pokémon musicals and his father, an immigrant from the Galar region, was a fashion designer with his own clothing line that is still popular and thriving today.

His formative years were rather uneventful aside from gaining a sister when he was 3. He spent time in school until he reached the age that he could embark on his own Pokémon journey, something heavily encouraged by both of his parents as they had both undergone their own journeys. His father gifted him a Lapras that was the direct offspring of his own partner Pokémon, this Lapras came to be called Tides and with a sizable donation from his parents Cole bought supplies and set off on his journey.

With Tides by his side, Cole took on the Unova League, challenging gym leaders and collecting badges until eventually he’d made it to the elite four, though not without catching the eye of one of the gym leaders he’d challenged. They followed his progress closely and after Cole had defeated the elite four, they approached him and offered to take him under their wing so he could inherit their gym. Cole excitedly agreed, though he still had another challenge to face before he could embark on this new and exciting path: he still had a champion to challenge.

The battle was intense and came down to wire, each trainer whittled down to their last Pokémon. Though he put forth a valiant effort, Cole could not surpass the immense skill of the Unova champion, though he vowed that he’d come back and win that championship eventually. With that out of the way, Cole began his training with the gym leader. This included years of one-on-one training as well as several stints as a gym trainer, though eventually it was decided that he was ready and Cole took on the mantle of being the Humilau city gym leader and donned the nickname “Wavebreaker.”

Cole has been the gym leader in Humilau for 4 years now and remains a challenge for those attempting to face the Unova league. When an invitation to a festival arrived at his doorstep, Cole jumped at the opportunity for a small vacation and found himself traveling to the Santoris region, Tides and a totodile he had started raising in tow.

HOMETOWN (region & town/city)

Unova, Lentimas Town

BIOGRAPHY/BACKGROUND

Born in the town surrounded by volcanos, Ace was a rather studious child. Even when he started school, he was know to study and read during recess instead of going out and making friends. This worried his parents, who believed that friends where the best thing in life. But it seemed that books where his friends. He read all about Pokémon; their training and abilities, what Pokémon to use against which. He dreamt of becoming a Pokémon gym leader, and set his sights on it. His first Pokémon was a present from his gym leader uncle; a Cufant. They trained together. On his 15th birthday, he received a Grubbin, and several stones. They were evolution stones. He used the steel one on his Cufant Andros, and Andros turned into a Copperajah. He waited until he had trained the Grubbin, Munchies, good until he evolved it into a Charjabug. On his eighteenth birthday, he received another evolution stone, and Munchies became a Vikavolt.

During middle school and high school he was the team captain of the dueling club. It was not a club to fight, but more to bond with your Pokémon. They went out and fought wild Pokémon, always taking care to release them if the club members did not want them.

When he was twenty, his father, his uncle, and him went on a island tour. And during that tour was when Ace caught Steely, his Steelix. With his team of three, he set his eyes on Santoris, to explore and possible catch other Pokémon.

PERSONALITY TRAITS

A person to ignore others when deep in work/thought/etc, he sometimes comes off as being rude. He is the exact opposite. He might be quite, but he has a highly developed (and sometimes slightly scary) sense of fun. He often jumps the gun at some stuff, and rushes out to battle to help another teammate or pokemon, but he does calculate the odds first, although he does push the limit sometimes and needs some TL to keep going.

3-5 VIRTUES

The energy he puts into his Pokémon
The sense of adventure he has
The respect he has for trainers and their Pokémon (as well as wild Pokémon)
His knowledge of his Pokémon and when to use them

3-5 VICES

Insatiable hunger. He eats... all... the... time...
Pushes himself to the limits for others
The desire to see/battle every Pokémon can cause him to be single-minded

3-5 FEARS

Pokémon will become extinct
That his Pokémon will die
That he won't be able to help another trainer or Pokémon in need.

Kay strives to be all that he can, seeing every day as another chance to improve himself and his Pokémon so together they can surpass all limits placed upon them. Though behind that stubborn face lays a logical mind that attempts to piece together a plan to combat any opposition. Logical, Determined, Stubborn, and Prideful are the best describing words for someone like Kay when they're having a great day. Though like everyone else Kay does have his share of bad moments, when his mind goes through an episode of self-doubt and unyielding weakness that's almost paralyzing. Hopefully those moments aren't frequent, or else Kay's psyche is in peril.

TIME MACHINE
HISTORY: Being born during a heavy snowstorm, Kayson was predicted to be a resilient child by hospital staff after having a severely low temperature for more than 24 hours. His parents Lisa and Thomas Platinum were allowed to bring young Kay home after being observed for 72 hours after his temperature raised to normal levels. It is suspected by Kay's parents that his birth has a coincidental connection with his love for the cold.
Growing up, Kay would be a well mannered child who wouldn't cause too much trouble except for his occasional trips out of the city to explore the surrounding wilderness. Every time the child returned home he had some sort of new bruise or cut from playing he whined or cried from these injuries, like they weren't even there. These trips continued until one fateful day when Kay was 12 he had found something that changed his future from that point, a abandoned Pokémon egg. The egg was damaged and left unattended by a trainer who had been running through the forest and when Kay found it, he took the unborn Pokémon into his care and protection. When the egg did eventually hatch, a Scyther was born and dubbed "Metal" by Kay due to it's strong, sword-like arms. The two became inseparable and did everything together, as if they were siblings or of the same family name. Their bond grew so close that Metal allowed Kay to evolve it by using a 'Metal Coat' that Thomas had graciously bought for them.
After that, the two started to take Kalos by storm by starting to take on each gym so they could prove their strength to the region. Along their journey, Kay recruited two more Pokémon to his team. "Snow" a Sneasel that joined him after losing a duel against Metal and "Pup" a Riolu that joined Kay after his win against Korrina in the Fighting-type Gym. This team fought their way through many battles and had earned 6 of the 8 Kalos Gym Badges. Though their journey wasn't one without danger and treachery, especially when dealing with people such as Team Flare.
Ever since he had first battled Team Flare grunts that were attempting to steal Pokémon that were "suited for their boss' new world", Kayson has since proclaimed himself a defender of the Kalos region. Though this title isn't completely empty, as he has made deals with police departments across Kalos to be recognized as an "honorary crime-stopper". He hopes his region is safe without him though, as with the invitation to Santoris comes a time for relaxation for the trainer and his Pokémon.

Rage.

Kayson felt nothing but rage as he looked back to see two of his partners now unable to proceed to their location after being taken down by a Flamethrower, launched from a Team Flare grunt's enslaved Charizard. The raging dragon was no longer in control of its own body, the grunts were using the poor Pokémon to fulfill their own evil deeds. Metal would look back to see two of his self-proclaimed siblings were injured, and just like Kayson he was enraged like none other, no longer feeling the injuries it had endured from their most recent battle with Korrina. The two would glare at the pair of Flare grunts, ready for battle to ensure the safety of their siblings. Korrina would run out as she heard the commotion, shocked that the grunts were there to cause trouble and at such a horrible time when her Pokémon were unable to battle.

"What's wrong punk? Are you going to cryyyyyy?" The first grunt would taunt Kay while the other cackled as it brought out another Pokémon, a Rapidash. Kay would simply nod as Metal looked over to him, and the Scizor would dash forward as it cried out ready to battle. "It seems we are at disadvantage Metal, though that has never stopped us before. Has it?" The trainer would finally speak out as he cracked his neck and knuckles before sending his right fist forward like a punch, revealing a Mega Ring. "Through thick and thin we've been through, and now it's time for us to complete another perilous challenge. While these fools may have the advantage, our bond is stronger than the brightest fire! So as are hearts beat together as one, it's time to finish these fools... Metal! MEGA EVOLVE!" Energy blasted out from Kay's Mega Ring as the stone on 'Metal's' necklace would burst out massive amounts of energy as well. The streams of unstoppable energy would collide as Metal slowly started to change forms before shattering the energy cocoon with a loud roar. The Mega Scizor would stand tall as it glared at the foes ahead, steam coming from it's body as an unusual aura surrounded it.

"S-Sir! We should get out of here, t-that Scizor's aura means it's attack has been risen beyond the normal limit, even without using moves like Swords Dance!" The more frail grunt with the Rapidash warned his superior but was ignored as the first grunt would growl under his breath before calling out to the Charizard, telling it to use Fire Punch. As the Charizard lunged forward, Metal would dash back in sync with Kay before lunging forward as well. "Metal, Brutal Swing." The trainer called out and Metal would slam one of it's pincers into the opposing Charizard's chest, causing the Pokémon to get sent flying back. "That Charizard should be rather hurt now, other than Metal being Mega Evolved and having a attack boost, his ability is Technician. Moves such as Brutal Swing do even more damage, no matter what." Kay revealed with a smirk as the grunts were taken aback by Metal's power at that moment. Within a blink of an eye, Metal would slam it's pincers into the opposing Rapidash, using Aerial Ace which is also powered up by Metal's ability. "Now this your last chance to back off before you can see Metal's strongest attacks..." Kay would warn the grunts with a devious grin. The frail grunt would return his Rapidash as the rougher one would release control of the Charizard before the two ran away from the scene.

Metal would revert back to normal and the heat building up within it would expel out so it could cool down it's metal body. Kayson would sigh as he walked over to Snow and Pup, his fainted Pokémon with a sad smile before having them retreat into inside their Pokéballs. "I was right to award you my badge, Kayson." Korrina would say with a small clap as she walked over to him with a rather wide grin. "Not only did you beat me, you bested those two grunts in two moves while Metal was injured from our fight. So congratulations and thank you." Korrina gave her final congrats to Kay before returning to her gym so she could tend to her own Pokémon inside. Kay would sigh before patting Metal on the back as they continued their walk to the closest Pokémon Center. "Good job, brother. Hopefully we can keep this up so Team Flare doesn't stand a chance in the future!" The trainer grinned, happy to see how much him and his partner had improved since the last time they face off against Team Flare. Metal would give a happy cheer as the two continued to walk.

The defeated Charizard that was now free of Flare's control would watch as Kay and Metal walked away in a cheerful manner, and would attempt to catch up so it could join the duo. Kay would turn to the Pokémon as it caught up, shaking his head and patting the Charizard. "Flare only forces Pokémon to fight against their will when they already have a trainer, so go find your trainer. I bet their worried sick, just stay safe and get back to them." Kayson explained with a soft smile, using a Hyper Potion on the Charizard as it remembered it's past before becoming controlled by Flare. Metal made a cheerful noise as Kay did the act of kindness before they continued once again, seeing the Pokémon Center where they could rest for the rest of day and overnight. The two were satisfied with their progress, now having six of the eight badges they would need before facing the infamous Elite Four... Little did they know soon they would be receiving a potentially life-changing invitation in the near future...

BIOGRAPHY/BACKGROUND~

Born in Lumiose, but raised in Laverre City, Darcy lived there with her father, Philip, for many years. Growing up she never knew her mother, and her father never spoke of her. It was just the two of them. Darcy's childhood wasn't bad in any means. Her father always made sure to be around along with providing for the both of them so that they didn't have to struggle. Darcy has fond memories of growing up with her dad. He always took her out explore the nearby routes and watch the wild Pokémon on the weekends when she didn't have school. The two of them also volunteered to help around the city during holiday breaks because her father always told her that it was important to help those around them, "You never know how much happier a simple act can make someone."
Unfortunately, when Darcy was around 13 her father passed away. He had fallen ill and despite the doctors doing what they could for him. That day was probably the darkest day in Darcy's life. It didn't matter that her father left everything to her, the empty house no longer felt like home.
As days passed a handful of Laverre City's residences would drop by the Rosamond home to check on Darcy to make sure that she was doing ok. Even going as far as bringing her meals and offering to help clean the house.
However, one day a neighbor came by the house to tell Darcy that they were nursing an injured Kirlia. It seemed that it had been attacked by another Pokémon according to the neighbor. Curious enough, Darcy asked if she could meet the injured Pokémon, to which the neighbor happily allowed. It had been days since the young girl left her home, so it was a surprise to them. Upon making it inside the neighbor's home she was met by a Kirlia sitting alone on the sofa. It had a bandage on its face and a couple on its head, not to mention a bandaged arm. When Darcy looked into Kirlia's eyes she could sense an all too familiar feeling. The teen sat on the couch next to the Pokémon before looking into her eyes and muttering, "You've lost someone important too.. Haven't you," causing tears to well in the Kirlia's eyes before she started sobbing, followed by Darcy sobbing and the two holding onto each other as they expressed their mutual pain. When the two eventually settled down, the neighbor suggested to Darcy that she take in the Kirlia. To them it seemed like the two of them needed each other, in which the girl agreed.
After that the two became inseparable, and Darcy started affectionately calling the Kirlia, Vivian.
They travelled together for a few years so that Darcy could learn how to become a trainer, and to get away from her childhood home for some time. During that time Darcy became pretty good as a Pokémon Trainer, winning battles and some badges with Vivian. She even evolved into a Gardevoir!
Around the age of 16 the duo were wondering the streets of Lumiose City when they noticed a rather flamboyant woman struggling to carry some suitcases and what Darcy could only assume to be paperwork. Darcy offered to help the lady carry some of her stuff, alongside Vivian, to her destination. The woman was taken aback when she noticed the teen and gleefully accepted her offer. Little did Darcy know that this encounter was going to alter her life in some manner. They chatted during the walk, sharing a couple laughs together, in which the girl learned that the woman was in the fashion industry and was trying to get to a photoshoot. When they arrived though the set seemed to be a little... Chaotic. The producer was running back and forth freaking out over the model they had booked missing the shoot over a broken ankle, and how the deadline was that evening. Before Darcy was able to leave, however, the woman she had helped eagerly told the producer that she had just happened to find the perfect replacement, to which the producer agreed after taking a good look at the teen.
Nervous and unsure, Darcy decided to step in since it seemed that they really needed help. That was something she couldn't turn a blind eye to. But from there Darcy's modeling career took off!
The initial photoshoot caught the eyes of a lot of people within the industry. All of whom wanted to hire Darcy to model their brand or support their product. Over the years Darcy's name, and face, became well known throughout multiple different regions in magazines and on billboards alike. This led to a lot of travelling where Darcy got to meet all sorts of people and Pokémon, even befriending some of both. She received Mint as a gift from her manager and Callum she found while in Dewford Town (for some reason she found him oddly cute and just couldn't leave without catching him).
On a rare trip home, Darcy found a letter addressed to her. It was an invitation to attend a festival in the Santoris region. After talking to her manager, and being told they girl needed a break every now and then, Darcy packed her backs and set off for Santoris with vacation on her mind.

PERSONALITY~
Despite her career path, Darcy is a kind individual who doesn't try to hold herself above others. Helping others is something she holds to her heart as it was something her late father had taught her early on in life. So, if there's someone in need of help, and Darcy is nearby, she'll typically stop what she's doing in order to lend a hand. Normally she's very sweet to everyone she meets, taking time to talk to them and get to know them on a somewhat personal level. Helps get her connections, right? But she tends to not factor that in when getting to know people. Darcy is also a keen observer, taking in her surroundings and seeing what could be approved or potentially cause disaster. Though she also tends to notice everyone around her, drifting more towards the people who seem like they need some help. Whether it's someone needing a physical helping hand, or an emotional one (needing someone to talk to, needs a question asked, advice, just sit and listen, etc.)
She is particularly close to her partner Pokémon and constantly has them around her.

VIRTUES~
Kind, Compassionate, Loyal, Friendly, Humble

VICES~
Mildly Insecure, Naive, Quirky

FEARS~
Being alone/abandoned
: After the passing of her father Darcy has lived with, and hid, her fear of ultimately being alone. It's why does her best to help others and surround herself with friends, and her Pokémon. To keep the feelings of loneliness at bay.
Cliffs: While not necessarily a fear of general heights, Darcy is far more scared of standing on cliffs. This due impart to what she views as a more looming threat that's at the bottom cliffs and how easy it is for someone to fall off them.
Claustrophobia: Ties into her fear of being alone. Small, especially dark, rooms cause her to go into a panic usually resulting in her crying and begging to be let out.
Losing Vivian.

Goldenrod City in Johto - Currently resides in Nimbasa City, Unova

BIOGRAPHY/BACKGROUND

Fen knew his parents but cared not to be involved in their lives. They basically pawned him off to his aunt - that’s what it seemed at least. Unplanned pregnancy, too young to raise a child, all that fun stuff. Fen was fine with being raised by his Aunt and always thought that until his parents were ready it was only temporary, but the visits from them began to grow further in distance between and so did grow the rift that separated Fen from ever wanting anything to do with his deadbeat parents. Not to mention the rumors and the things he’d seen them do. Of course he didn’t like to talk about that, he tried to never think of it instead opting for comedy to fill the void. He’d make jokes in tense situations and always try to make others laugh, opting to be the funniest person in the room if not the weirdest.

Fen was odd, he didn’t act like the other kids, when they were playing cops and robbers he was playing ‘Don’t let the Tyrunt drown in the tar pit’ a game of his own devisement where he would act as if he were a screaming Tyrunt sinking in a-Well you get the point. The only solace that Fen had, the only thing that he felt like he truly fit in with, was music. He’d picked up his first instrument at 6, and of course it was only a recorder and in a mandatory music class in elementary school but that didn’t matter, he loved making noise and trying to fiddle around to make new sounds, something he found later on that he was quite good at.

Later in life at the age of 17, Fen had saved enough money for two major things: An acoustic guitar - and a Bike. He made a business out of delivering things, traveling to different cities and towns and collecting goodies for the locals who wanted such things delivered. After a few years at 21 he was able to buy his first electric.

Fen began playing small gigs, mainly just busking outside the flower shop, Goldenrod Gym (Despite the ‘no soliciting’ sign) But he figured free music didn’t fit that category anyway, he certainly wasn’t accosting anyone, just hijacking their ears for a bit - and it worked. He started making bigger appearances, he played some shows with the Kimono Girls as their background music and began writing his own music and performing every other day and every Saturday at the Goldenrod Radio Tower. He always did feel the music they normally played was a bit… Boring and old school. Things were going great for Fen, at 22 he got his first Pokemon - He always wanted one but was always too busy to take care of em but he felt he deserved a little bit of help. Speck - Or Dunsparce, was his Aunt’s, well, she’d bred her Dunsparce and Speck was the result, Fen hatched Speck from an egg that happened to hatch after a 2 hour bike ride.

At 22 Fen was touring over different regions, he acquired a Wimpod from a trade, that was a whole other story. He named him Courage and has bonded with him the most. Fen was beginning to gain widespread attention throughout the regions. He toured with a few members and formed a band called Fentanyl and then finally set up a touring hiatus home in Nimbasa City, After some adjustments to Big Stadium he often played concerts while off tour. He kept in touch with his band members but there were some rifts. At 24 he was finally feeling like he fit in.

His idea to go back on tour was sparked when he received an invitation to Santoris, a place he’d never played before. He packed his guitar, his Pokemon partners and a few essentials in his guitar carrier and set off on his Druddigon, Meek, which he’d acquired in Unova.

3-5 PERSONALITY TRAITS
Fen is protective at all costs, he is madly In love with music, he also is a bit of a chatterbox and can go on for hours without breath if it’s a topic he loves.

3-5 VIRTUES
Fen loves to help people, just to see them smile and react, he’s also one of those people who prefers to give gifts rather than receive. Fen always is the shoulder to cry on and he doesn’t feel it a burden, he believes everyone deserves someone to lean on. Fen also is great at giving advice (At least he hopes he is) no matter the situation he tries to find a bit of a link to what someone is dealing with and try to give advice.

3-5 VICES
Fen can often be bad at reading a room, sometimes opting for comedy because he feels tense and the situation doesn’t call for it. He also can get very angry at some people if they speak against something he believes to be right and will protect others to a dangerous point. Fen also can be a bit naive and headstrong, impulsively running into situations without thought.

3-5 FEARS
Fen fears further abandonment, he is terrified people will leave. He fears being his true self at times in fear of the former happening, as well as deep water, you never know what’s down there.

BIOGRAPHY/BACKGROUND

Born in the little old town of Wedgehurst, Matt has always dreamed of excitement. He was constantly staying up late watching internet videos of racing, parkour, and of course, Pokemon battling. He felt it was one of his true callings and at the age of 14 he participated in the minor division in the Galar league. He never finished it, only ever getting 5 gym badges in this division, but it was a much-needed experience, and still managed to impress some powerful folks looking for a new rookie that could shake things up for cheap. So, he was signed onto the Braven Bravaries where he has a pretty long career in Pokemon battling and adventuring, with the new resources provided to him he was able to barely scrape by to reach the pokemon league in the major division. Even won a match, but didn't get far into the tournament. But his more energetic personality, his rather unique way of fighting, and his catchphrase "Dynamaxing time baby!" quickly gained him some fans and a lot of social media buzz. This led the Braven Bravaries to begrudgingly renew his contract. Thankfully for his sake, Matt improved quite a bit on his other adventures and even participated in other major league tournaments like Indigo, Sinnoh, and Unova; frequently reaching farther the more tournaments he did with few exceptions here and there. He made quite a few friends they rubbed off on him, while he was partially in it for the glory, he had an absolute blast traveling with other trainers or just exploring the regions.

While his battling improved, his personal behavior began to mellow out at least to a point. He isn't hyper as he use to be, while he kept some of his sarcastic twangs, he became more mature and tried his best to act like a good role model. However, that would mark his own little descent into obscurity. While he was making some higher rankings, his fanbase began to either move on from enjoying pokemon battling or grew tired of seeing mediocre trainers in their eyes. If you aren't winning Championships, do people really consider you good? This began to strain the relationship between the Braven Bravaries, specifically his mentor Rob, and losing to an ex-member, and former friend in the Kalos conference. It all came to a head when participated in the Galar league again and surprisingly managed to make it to the quarter-finals only to get basically crushed by a rookie trainer, it was embarrassing for Matt, his more dedicated fans, and especially the Braven Bravaries. What rubbed salt in the wound further was the fact that the rookie lost in the finals. Rob refused to renew his contract, and kicked him to the curb. He never got to have a graceful retirement, only forced one at least on paper. Nothing is technically stopping him from continuing but his ego was rather shaken up. Both by losing to the rookie, and just being tossed to the curb like he was nothing.

He needed some time to reevaluate some things. Whether he's truly as great of a trainer as he thought he once was. Make no mistake, he still enjoys pokemon battling, traveling, and meeting new people. But to himself, he feels that his own personal worth has been brought into question and it's a new feeling he's never had to encounter. Of course that all changed with a surprising letter at his doorstep. He took this as a sign to have one last final adventure to prove his worth and figure out his purpose in life. Even if the letter was secretive of the details.

3-5 PERSONALITY TRAITS
While not as obnoxious as his earlier teen days, he has still kept some of that sarcastic twang that he's never been able to outgrow. Making some light jabs at some people and the situation at hand. Never purposefully mean-spirited, though sometimes he may be breaching a line that wasn't meant to be breached here and there. But he is still nurturing, he'll often be the first one to realize someone needs some emotional support, and even though he has his own issues he'll try to provide for others. This doubles so for his own pokemon, he truly loves each and every one of them. He's bitter that he can never take more than six at a time, but he tries to spend an equal amount of time with them. That being said, while he has matured from his youth days he can get pretty frustrated easily, Not so much from battling but from the more mundane everyday things like trying to figure out how to open a sealed cardboard box with no box cutter. Though he can still get agitated from certain things happening in fights. But at the end of the day, he tries to be more carefree, acting more like a free-spirited type of fellow. Of course, that bit of personality has been repressed a tiny bit due to his own ego-filled trauma. But he'll also try to repress his own self-loathing to himself.

3-5 VIRTUES
He is fearfully loyal to his friends and pokemon, always living by the motto of "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours"
He understands compassion and isn't quick to judge people when they make mistakes unless they're mean-spirited. He often focuses on moving forward-at least to other people.
He's pretty inventive when it comes to his own battling style, he doesn't just call out moves and hope for the best, he'll use the terrain as a form of combat, to use moves in different ways that don't directly attack his opponents. He's always trying to change his style of combat in order to remain a bit unpredictable, this has led to a double edge sword of being a jack of all trades but a master of none.
He's always ready for action, he could be resting and relaxing but the moment something sounds fun to him he will drop everything thing he is doing and go do that thing. So it makes him a rather good buddy to tag along with.
Believes that everyone has potential and can push past those limits to greater heights.

3-5 VICES
He's very reserved when it comes to his own personal problems, letting them build up inside like the move toxic, the more he dwells the worse he feels and he is rather stubborn to talk about his own issues.
He can be rather stubborn, often trying to do things one way, this is apparent in his fighting style, while on the surface it seems unpredictable, a lot of fights could end quicker if he was more straightforward. He doesn't have a great gauge on the best time to unleash savage blows unless it is plain dead obvious.
He loves to talk, he'll talk up a storm and unless someone tells him to literally shut up, even then he probably won't stop talking.
He can be naive at times when people tell him information, mainly due to the fact he doesn't stop to think for half a second when engaging in conversation

3-5 FEARS
Fading away in obscurity is one of his own fears, he wants to make a mark and he doesn't feel like he's been able to do that anymore.
He doesn't like spider pokemon all that much.
He's actually sorta formed a fear around rookie trainers as weird as that sounds. He'll spare if he has to but he'll cancel the match without finishing it claiming "Ah that was a good training session for ya wasn't it?" He doesn't mind losing battles, just losing to rookie trainers.

3-5 DESCRIPTORS
Talkative
Free-spirited
Determined
Go-getter
Naive
OCCUPATION
Pokemon Trainer
Hitmonlee
106Hitmonlee.png

Hitmonlee was actually Matt's first pokemon, or rather when he was a Tyrouge. When the two met they fought, not like emotionally but they wrestled one another. Matt didn't have any pokemon at the time. They bonded in their little scuffle and became partners. Tyrouge wasn't the pokemon that gave up easily, always trying to push past its limits. This obviously resonated with Matt, and these two are rarely apart and grew a strong bond that still stands today as a Hitmonlee.

Hitmonlee while a go-getter, is actually milder than and calmer than Matt. He can be seen often meditating and trying to use his own smarts to figure out solutions. But he has complete trust in Matt and will follow whatever order he throws out with no hesitation. He can be a bit indifferent at times, usually shrugging if Matt asks him a question. At times he basically has to babysit Matthew before he ends up hurting himself, But Hitmonlee couldn't think of a better trainer to follow.

Raichu
026.png
In his journey through Kanto, Matt managed to discover a little Pikachu. Like Tyrouge before him, he was quite the go-getter. In fact, he was the first one to attack Matt, but this eventually led to him getting captured. But they seemed to sync up really quickly, their personalities were basically the same- at least when Matt was a teenager.

Raichu is quite ready for any fight. He'll often jump at the chance to fight anyone, whether he has a type advantage or not. One thing that makes him rather unique is his affinity for physical attacks. Raichu doesn't like using his more long-ranged attacks, not for any traumatic reason, he just instead runs up and punches his foes. He can be seen often flexing and taunting his opponents, this usually leads to him getting KO'd.

Knoctowl
164Noctowl.png

Knoctowl, Hoothoot at the time, was Matt's second-ever pokemon. Despite the disadvantage, Matt managed to prevail over a flying type and added her to the team. She's quiet but also affectionate in her own way. When she gets the chance she will fly on top of Matt's hat, then take off with it. This leads to Matt getting frustrated but he can't help to get mad at her for long.

IN PC BOX
Scolipede

545.png
Scolipede was a pretty amazing find for Matthew, finding her in Pinwheel forest as a shiny Venipede. She was quite weak however in her earlier stages, but with love, compassion, and dedication, she was able to evolve into the strong powerhouse that she is today. Unlike Copperajah, she holds nothing back when it comes to fighting. Aggressive and to the point she will barge through any obstacle like an unstoppable force. She is a bit more reserved to other people and pokemon, often walking away from those who approach her. She likes Matthew though, and that's the important thing.

Roserade
407Roserade.png
Roserade is an interesting Pokemon personality-wise. He's seemed to take up the persona of a superhero-type figure. Always the first one to action to defend those who are weaker. He's overactive, always trying to make a flashy entrance and attacks. But his heart is in the right place. He is actually pretty small compared to other Roserades, but that doesn't deter Roserade one bit, it just empowers him.

Octillary
224Octillery.png
The best word to describe Octillary is clueless. In fact, her getting caught was literally an accident. She was just rummaging through Matt's bag and accidentally clicked a Pokeball button. Matt didn't even realize he had her for a bit. Yet, she's also quite a bit of a jack of all trades moves-wise, is he really that oblivious or has it always been an act?

Lombre
271Lombre.png
Lombre is quite the party animal and will be the first one to cause trouble if he gets his pawns on any Pinapp berries. Sometimes it's a gamble whether Lombre will actually fight or just mess around. For this reason, Matthew doesn't take him out for official battling much, hoping to get some results in following orders, however vain that may be.

Galarian Mr. Mime
16122-Galarian-MrMime.png
A bit of a jokester, Mr. Mime is always trying to put a smile on that face, whether you're down or angry, he'll just tap his feet together and do some jokey dances. But don't let that fool you, he is a very competent fighter, combining his dance and ice attacks makes for an agile, and difficult fighter to go up against.

Donphan

232Donphan.png
A strong elephant capable of taking hits and rolling straight back at people. Donphan is a bit more reserved though, you won't see him going out of his way to greet others. But he also won't walk away if you approach and give him a good scratching. Just don't tug on his ears though.

Torkoal
324Torkoal.png
Torkoal is pretty relaxed, in fact, he's not much of a fighter on Matt's team. Torkoal was caught while he was sleeping, and Matt realized that he has little desire to fight anything. But he can be a nice makeshift cooking stovetop.

AND MANY MORE!
But it is unlikely they'll be a part of the story (I don't wanna make a giant list okkkkkkk)

Other
Matthew doesn't have an official nickname for his Pokemon, but he'll sometimes shorten their names when he talks to them.
He has issues with Kalos people. Mainly due to his own history there when he participated in the Kalos Conference. Everyone could Mega evolve but him it seemed.
He has a noticeable Galar accent that he doesn't try to hide, while it has faded over time when he traveled with other trainers in different regions, certain words and phrases make it very noticeable.
Matthew has participated in many leagues over the years. Some trainers may have spotted him participating in many conference tournaments as his matches were televised. These were his placings in his years of battling.

Two pokemon fight it out in a large, lit stadium, the crowd cheering was almost deafening. Each damaging hit would seemingly lead the crowd to let out their excitement even more. However, two people weren't showing any excitement, as they were too focused on the battle at hand. It was their battle, two trainers fighting it out in the semi-finals. The stakes couldn't be higher, as not many trainers make it this far in a Pokemon League conference. However, as respectable as reaching the top can be, this fight is clearly one-sided. One trainer only has two remaining Pokemon, and the other has four.

Scolipede and Centikorch were the two fighting pokemon, brutally ramming against one another with their powerful attacks. The Centiskorch wrapped around Scolipede crunching with its powerful jaws against the Scolipede's neck. It let out a loud roar before using its own jaws to rip the Centiskoch off and slamming it to the ground, picking it up again and throwing it across the field. Centiskorch skidded across the field but quickly regained composure. The Scolipede however, was visibly tired. "Come on Scoli, you gotta keep pushing we got this!" A man shouted, trying to keep up morale. The Scolipede turned its neck to glance at her trainer Matthew, before glancing back at the Centiscorch and giving out a loud battle cry. The Centiscorch responded with its own, The fire on its body shooting up to make an intimidating display, and like a lightning bolt, it shot itself at Scolipede with tremendous speed. "Let's RollOut come on! " Matthew shouted, Scolipede began to run, quickly rolling up into a ball and B-lining straight towards Centiskorch. The opposing Pokemon quickly changed directions, leading to the Rollout miss. Scolipede drifted, before locking back on to Centiskorch. However, the fire pokemon just stood there. Its body glowed a brilliant orange light, before unleashing a powerful blast of energy at Scolipede. Hitting it directly, the one rolling Scolipede was pushed back, uncurling and landing directly onto the ground. "And Scolipede has been knocked out!" A referee exclaimed, and the crowd went roaring, and a giant monitor showed the two trainers remaining pokemon. it flickered with lights and sounds, and an animation removing Scolipede from the monitor, Matthew only had one Pokemon remaining.

Matthew just stood there in silence for a few moments, higher ventilating slightly. He slowly grabbed Scolipede's ball and returned the fainted Pokemon. He stared at the Great Ball that the pokemon resided in. "You... um... You did great, you did the best you could do..." Matthew half-heartedly said, choking on his own words. He took a long sigh and grabbed another Pokeball. "Let's go Hitmonlee!" He tossed him out, with little fanfare. The fighting-type pokemon exploded from the Pokeball and landed on the ground. Seemingly struggling to breathe, the Pokemon had fought prior in this battle and was visibly weakened. However, rocks began to float in the sky and crashed against the weakened Pokemon. Matthew let out a roar of frustration "Why can't that Stealthrock bite it!? Lee, you good?" Hitmonlee slowly turned around and gave a thumbs up, then glared back at the Centiskoch, which was soon being returned by its trainer. The trainer threw another Pokeball, it exploded in a blast of light, and a loud thump was heard as it landed. The Pokemon was recognizable by the giant flower on its back... It was Venusaur. Matthew gritted his teeth, "I've come so far, and I'm not losing... not like this..." He held up Hitmonlee's Pokeball and returned it. "Alright trainer, let me show you the power of a seasoned trainer!" He shouted, his Dynamax bracelet began to glow and the Pokeball expanded, covering his entire hand. "It's Dynamaxing Time Baby" He chucked the ball with one arm as hard as he could, and Hitmonlee exploded from the Dynamaxed ball. It towered over the stadium and glared directly at Venusaur, unphased. "Max Flare let's go!" Hitmonlee's entire leg erupted in flames, and without a moment's notice, crashed his foot onto the Venusaur. Fire erupted from the floor, and launched into the sky, creating a noticeable heatwave, and smoke everywhere. Matthew smirked, he just knew that the Venusaur couldn't withstand an attack like that... But his eyes grew wide, as the smoke cleared and the Venusaur, with noticeable damage, stood on the ground. The bulb on its back glowed a bright light, that only increased its speed with the sun. Then, a beam of light shot out of the bulb and hit Hitmonlee directly in his chest. Causing a massive explosion, smoke everywhere... and when the dust settled... Hitmonlee lays on the ground. Normal-sized and fainted.

It was many days after that faithful battle, Matthew, was in the news cycle for about a day, mainly focusing on his terrible loss. What of the trainer that beat him? Not much was mentioned other than that they had lost in the final round. Further rubbing salt into the wound. Matthew was quiet, shaken up, and didn't have any of his Pokemon out of their Pokeballs as he was used to doing. He walked up to a building and stared at the logo for a few moments. "The Braven Bravaires." He muttered to himself, before walking into the main lobby. He noticed a bunch of portraits of fellow trainers that were a part of the same team as he was. Normally his picture would be right on top as the "golden boy" as his mentor Rob would call him, It was mysteriously removed. Matthew gave another quick sigh before stopping at a door, knocking on it, and slowly opening it. A large man was reading a paper and didn't seem to acknowledge Matthew's existence. His heart was racing, he wasn't used to this type of anxiety. "Heeey Rob..." Rob, without even looking at Matthew, began to speak. "Ah good, you're here. Sit down." Matthew sat down on the seat before he could get a word in edgewise, Rob began to speak. "alright, let's make this quick, your contract ended, and you're fired. Get out of my office." He quickly and efficiently berated, still without looking away from his newspaper. Matthew just sat there in shock, a little dizziness, and a mix of other emotions. It all just came at him so fast, that his brain couldn't process the information that was thrown his way. Rob finally turns his head to Matthew, with a curious but obviously annoyed look on his face. "Did I stutter?"
"No, no-no you didn't stutter I'm just..." Matthew struggled to try to finish what he was trying to say, stuttering and making longer pauses in his speech. "No, I understand you're a great speaker but with everything I've done I didn't expect to get thrown out... like this?..." Matthew finally finished.
Rob face grew more annoyed, his head tilted downwards "Was that speaker comment meant to butter me up? No, I'll you what Matty, have you been reading the news articles about the tournament?" Rob demanded,
Matt, shook his head, "To be honest, I haven't been paying attention too much."
"Yeah, yeah of course you haven't." Rob slams down the newspaper on the table, the main headline plastered on the front 'FAMED MATTHEW MORON CRUSHED BY NEW ROOKIE'. Mathew picks up the paper, he glances at it for a few seconds before dropping it on his lap. "Sir, this is a tabloid article!" Matthew, now growing more irritated at this whole situation.
"Doesn't matter, you lost, people read the tabloids, and I'm tired of you being connected to us."
Matt finally rose from his seat and rested his hands on the desk. He was angry, he felt tossed to the side, not giving his due credit, and to be stabbed in the back like this, after all the things he's done to appease this company, he finally lost it. "I lost multiple times yes! But I've grown consistently and constantly get higher placings than I use to, in fact, all the trainers under this company haven't won a single championship, and most companies don't have trainers that win the championship. I've been with this company since the beginning, I was the 'golden child' as you once said, I was the main reason why The Braven Bravaires became a bigger name! I've stuck with you despite getting offers from other teams to join them I remained loyal to you and you're just going to turn your back on me like this!? What do you have to say?" Matthew snapped, his hands making various erratic movements as he spoke, almost knocking over a lamp at one point.
Rob stared at his and simply chuckled, he opens a drawer and pulls out a long list. It seemed to have a bunch of different brand names and sponsorship deals plastered onto them. "You were kid, you were very a profitable golden child....for the first five years. We've lost many sponsorships and gained very little after this 5-year mark, you're an old has bin, a hack! Most trainers your age retire and do other things like being a gym leader, or... other things-look I don't care." Rob said dismissively,
"Yeah, so, this whole thing isn't about the money, it's about the love for the sport, making friends, and trying to be the very best like no one ever was!"
"It's not about-" Rob began to speak before scoffing, "Alright kid, get out of my office. We are done here."
Matthew's angered expression, quickly changed to sadness, "But sir-"
"YOU'RE FIRED" Rob snapped, raising his voice at Matthew, he took back the list of sponsorships and threw it back in the drawer, slamming it shut. Matthew, stood there, feeling numb. Finally, after what felt to be an eternity, he turned around and headed for the door. He reaches for it, but the door opens by itself. The person who opened it was a youthful kid, the two locked eyes and they stared at one another for a few moments. It was the rookie, the same one who crushed him in the semifinals. It seemed fate wanted to punch Matthew in the gut one last time. Matthew, gave a loud, exasperated sigh, before brushing past the rookie before they got in a word. Rob could be heard in the background, his voice fading as Matthew got farther away. "Ah, good you're here! I'm glad you decided to take the time to look at our company, I know you've just been flooded with requests-"

A few months had passed, and Matthew, doing slightly better mentally, was walking out of his apartment. Locking the door, he gave a quick huff and looked at a letter he had received. It seemed to be a call to adventure, but he wasn't too sure what is was about. Hitmonlee pumped into him, urging him to follow as they were running a little late to catch their flight over. "Sorry, sorry, I know you're always looking after me" he smiled. He walked forward, letter in hand, he tried to remain positive. "Well, you think this is a sign from the universe? Some type of test or something? A purpose?" Matthew asked his partner Pokemon, and all he gave was his iconic shrug. Matthew laughed, "There it is... Well, I think so, At least I'd like to believe so, and if not... Maybe we'll figure out something about ourselves." He smiled, and began to pick up speed, eventually running towards his next adventure.

An unstoppable force of nature, Freya is quite often described as being way more than
energetic
. Sometimes she is even described as impish, and she even goes so far as to call herself a goblin, though this can often come back to mess her up as she is also prone to making rash decisions and not properly thinking things through. Humor is something she likes to use often, both as a means to break the ice or even as a defense mechanism, after all, you can’t hurt the feelings of somebody who’s constantly making fun of themselves. Freya is also plenty
resilient
and can take quite a lot before she caves in. She is also very
creative
both artistically and practically, often coming up with solutions to problems that nobody else would even think of. Her creativity definitely shines the most when she’s working, whether she’s coming up with a new design or snapping some photos.

Virtues: Energetic, humorous, creative, resilient, caring
Vices: impulsive, restless, oblivious
Fears: Being forgotten: It may seem vain, but one of Freya’s biggest fears is being forgotten and one of her biggest goals is to leave a lasting impression on the world, hopefully through her designs or photographs.
cleithrophobia: the fear of being trapped or locked in a space with no escape

h

istory

The circumstances of Freya’s birth did not involve love but rather carelessness, her parents did not care for each other and married only because of Freya to begin with. Needless to say, their marriage did not last long, when she was 3 they divorced and Freya went to live with her mother and her mother’s parents. Freya’s mother, Vivian, was a moderately successful artist who made enough money to house not only Freya but also her parents who were retired cafe owners.

Freya knew little of her father other than that when he left he moved to the Hoenn region, though this was largelay inconsequential as Freya had more than enough family and support as she grew. While going through schooling Freya was quite popular with other kids mostly due to her insurmountable energy and her propensity for coming up with fun new games. She met her best friend, Alice, when she was 5. The two lived on the same street and went to the same school so it was only natural the two were drawn to each other.

One day when she was 7, Freya was walking to school when she suddenly caught sight of 2 bigger children huddled around a small Espurr in an alley, poking at its face with sticks and laughing. A new burning feeling bubbled in her stomach, something she’d never felt before, and before she knew it she was running at the boys screaming and flailing her arms. She didn’t even know if she’d actually hit either of them but she heard a few screams and when she opened her eyes they were running out of the alley. She quickly checked on the Espurr, who seemed relieved and was staring at her with its big round eyes. Her job complete, Freya began her way back to school, though when she reached the school and stopped to open the door she felt something bump into her leg. The Espurr had followed her, and from that moment on the two were inseparable.

Freya had not planned to participate in the Kalos league but she was strong armed into it by Alice. Freya, alongside Seline the Espurr and Alice, made it through gyms of Kalos though stopped short of challenging the elite four so that she could pursue her true passions of fashion and photography. A few years later Freya has established a successful brand and releases new items regularly. Recently she has received an invitation to Santoris, and invitation she gladly accepted.

Faye Morticia Addams

The stage lights from on high sparked to life lit up the stage, their placement leaving the center still submerged in darkness as the soft intro music began to play on the speakers of the stadium. The final light, lit by the ghostly Chandelure painted the center in a pale purple hue as the trainer standing within it was revealed posed with her head down and her hair covering her face from view. Her head snapped up to reveal the somber face of Faye as she immediately began to sway making graceful motions with her arms that swung out as took steps forward, her heels not making a sound as the voice carried the beginning of the song. The two pokeballs with her hands bursting with light and stars while Sylvie, her partner Sylveon, and Penelo, her recent new addition Galran Ponyta, take their spots by her side and follow the same routine as her without skipping a beat.

Her black body suit shifted to white as her pokemon began to shine, as she brandished a wand in her hand, pointing it up toward the Chandelure as a the will-o-whisps began to form around the field, the different pokemon trainers being revealed by the purple light, the wand being lit like sparkler as she a thick black arm emerged from her shadow and began to wrap around her till all that could be seen was the bright light of the sparkler before it to went out. Sylvie and Penelo leaped to cross paths in front of her brandishing a dazzling gleam that signaled the rest of the lights to be turned on to the beat of the bass picking up from its drop. Her iridescent skirt clipped to her waist with her famous star symbol clip at the waist and her Mimikyu dressed up in a Sylveon costume standing on her palm with his 'ears' raised as the song got to its most memorable line that was chanted back to her from the crowd.

Even with the Rotom that circled around her and the stage looming for the perfect angle, her and her team continued as practiced with smiles on their faces and a pep in their step. Feeding off the crowds energy and giving it back in turn with their own through their performance.

Watching it be playback from a tv made it impossible to tell how nervous she had been when it first started.

"The Will-O-Wisp reveal will always be my favorite." The chirper voice of Sora chimed in from the other half of the couch, huddled in the rest of the large Fairy Gym-themed blanket with a mug of hot Moo-Moo Milk in hand as he grinned at his older sister that bashfully rubbed her neck in response.

"It's one of my favorites too, ever since mom used it when she debuted at the grand festival after winning Top Coordinator." She said softly, bringing her own mug closer to her face to hide her fond smile. A glimmer of nostalgia in her pale blue eyes burned brightly at the memory of repeatedly rewatching the clips of it. "So I wanted to debut that way too, I was just lucky she let me use her Coco for it."

She stands at around 5'4", with about shoulder length red hair and green eyes. She has a slightly tanned complexion as well. At times she gains bags under her eyes from stress and anxiety, or just from continuous lack of sleep until her body finally has enough and forces her to sleep.

Age: 22

Pronouns: She/Her

Romantic Orientation: Questioning

Hometown: Postwick, Galar

Biography/Background:

Robin's family is one who has distant connections to the Moore family, with both family lines sharing ancestry with Psychics among its members. Though other than knowing she has a few distant cousins living in Alola knows just about nothing on her family lineage other than a few every other generation are Psychics. Otherwise, she grew up in a relatively normal home with her Father and Mother in Galar, with her Father being a Pokémon Trainer who traveled and occasionally sent gifts and souvenirs back home.

Being in Galar's countryside was relatively relaxing even if Robin herself didn't leave the house much. She had been rather timid and on a few occasions bullied by a few of the older kids until her Mother stepped in and tried to help her gain a bit of confidence and stop the bullying before it'd get worse.

Around this time, Robin was gifted Alice from her Father, who called whenever he could during his travels, and the girl and Pokémon hit it off after a bit of a rocky start with Alice scaring Robin and singing her shirt. Robin cried and as an apology Alice shared some fruit with her. It took a while of bonding but the two grew close. She eventually wanted to try her hand at being a Trainer herself, her parents encouraging her to do whatever she wanted and go wherever she wanted with their full support.

She tried her hand at contests during her attempt to travel the Sinnoh Region, though while fun they were overwhelming. She ended up returning home for a break and to see her Mother when she learned of a letter that had recently arrived, inviting her to the Santoris Region, which her Mother encouraged her to go, even her Father once she called him.

Everything was loud, like Thunder during a storm. She didn't even notice the hand on her head and the soft voice speaking to her at first.

"Robin?"

"..."

"Hey Red, what's wrong?"

"Too much…"

"Ah, hey. Robbie, look at me?"

Green eyes opened, glancing up at her Father Yuri. He smiled at her before scooping her into his arms, his Pokémon Uril watching as he waited for them a short ways ahead. Once the two caught up to him, the Mightyena nudged Robin's foot with his nose before turning to the road that led away from the station and towards Postwick.

Robin, at twelve years old, had insisted on meeting her Father at Wedgehurst Station with Uril by herself, despite her Mother's initial hesitation she eventually let the child go. They both knew Uril would protect the child with his life if he had to, even if neither liked to even entertain the idea.

The small crowd that had gathered outside of the station was mostly for the Champion coming home that same day. Their thoughts and feelings had been too loud and too much after a few minutes of waiting to see the red hair of her father in the crowd and she hadn't noticed that she had covered her ears and squeezed her eyes shut until her Father had gotten her attention.

By now, they were halfway home and things had quieted considerably. Tired, she buried her face into the crook of her Father's neck as he softly told her about his current travels and the Pokémon he saw and met until she relaxed and nearly drifted off to sleep.

Green eyes opened, Robin felt a small smile form on her lips at the memory, excitement bubbling up as she thought of seeing her parents soon. With a soft grunt, she stretched shortly followed by messaging the muscles in her neck.

Sitting in her train car, her green eyes watched the passing scenery of Galar with a sense of calm she hadn't felt in days. Between the overwhelming events of participating in a Contest and not doing…well, booking a flight from Sinnoh to Galar, then a ticket for the train she had been wrung out mentally and emotionally. So she had planned to visit home for a few months at most. Alice and Momo sat next to each other in the seats across from her asleep with her jacket acting as a blanket for her two Pokémon, causing her smile to grow. Eventually the train slowed to a stop and the announcement sounded that they had arrived.

"Guys, we're here, c'mon." She softly called as she nudged them both awake and put in her jacket. Once her bag was secure and Alice sat on her shoulders she departed with Momo in her arms.

She had planned to stay home for a few months at most. She was sure if she had kept going, she'd eventually run herself into the ground from stress and exhaustion, so a break was needed.

"It's been a while…" She muttered as she stepped out of Wedgehurst Station, only to be greeted by her Parents and their Partner Pokémon.

"I'm home." She greeted as she approached, only to yelp as she was pulled into a hug from both parents. Alice squawked as she was nearly thrown off her Trainer's shoulders and Momo squeaked as he was woken from his second nap that day.

"Welcome back Red!" Her father exclaimed, ruffling her hair while her mother kissed her temple.

"We missed you so much, we're so proud of you." The older woman smiled in such a soft way that made Robin want to both hide her face in their shoulders and cry from how much she felt loved.

"We missed you guys too" She replied.

"Rrr." Uril huffed, wanting to greet her as well. Robin reached out with one of her hands to scratch him behind one of his ears.

Thump thump thump

Tail wagging, Uril grew pleased to be included in the family reunion.

---

The past few months were needed. Helping her Mother in the garden, training with her Father, watching Wooloo roll by through the rolling fields of Postwick. It left her feeling relaxed.

Then one day, a letter arrived, along with encouragement to give traveling a try. and so she found herself on the road to Wedgehurst Station once again.

"Back on the road so soon..." She muttered, before looking down at a tug on her jacket. Looking down to her new traveling companion she smiled.

"Let's do our best." She spoke, earning a nod from Uril beside her as they head into the station.

3-5 Personality Traits:

Anxious | Kind hearted | Curious

Robin is a kind hearted young woman who tries to help others when possible. She can occasionally get anxious and overthink things and sometimes tries to outright avoid whatever or whoever is making her anxious or stressed in an attempt to 'not deal with the problem' head on with the naive hope that it'd eventually just go away depending on the severity.

Sometimes she has to psyche herself up to do certain tasks she'd rather not by giving herself quiet encouragement or a small pep talk. Otherwise, she's a curious girl who's fascinated by the Pokémon world despite how scary it can sometimes be.

3-5 Virtues:
-Willing to help friends and even strangers in need (Pokémon included)

-Willing to try new things

-Once her trust is gained, she's a loyal companion

3-5 Vices:
-Sometimes procrastinates, especially towards tasks she'd rather not do

-Once she gains a friend, her loyalty can be mistaken for her being clingy due to not being used to having many outside of her Pokémon growing up

-Will do whatever she can to help friends or strangers in need, even if it puts her in harms way

-If her trust is broken, she's likely to not give her trust again, or at least not completely (which she has been unjustly called petty for on one occasion)

3-5 Fears:

-Large crowds

-Her Pokémon being seriously hurt or killed

-Her father leaving for a new region and disappearing without a trace

3-5 Descriptors:

-Sweet
-Reckless
-Cute (she personally doesn't think so)
-Awkward

Occupation:
Novice Psychic Trainer/Traveler

As a Psychic Trainer, her telekinesis is a power she possessed from a young age and is working to hone, being able to move objects like Pokeballs and such with her mind, though can so far only lift small to medium sized objects with concentration.

As for her telepathy, she has an easier time reading the minds of Pokémon, especially Psychic types or those she's closely bonded to. When it comes to people it's much harder and requires much more concentration, and sometimes large crowds can overwhelm her with sudden random bursts of thoughts or emotions if she doesn't try to focus on blocking them out. Usually, she tries to block out most thoughts outside of her own, or else she gets overwhelmed.

Partner Pokémon:

fletchinder.jpg

Nickname: Alice

Species: ♀️ Fletchinder

Type: Fire/Flying

Ability: Flame Body

Current Moves: Fire Spin, Quick Attack, Peck, Flame Charge

History and Personality: A rough around the edges kinda gal, Alice is short tempered and quick to try and start a fight. A gift from Robin's father, Alice has known the girl since she was ten and practically treats her as a sister and best friend, being rather protective of her and her fellow Pokémon.

Other Pokémon:

abra.jpg

Nickname: Momo

Species: ♂️ Abra

Type: Psychic

Ability: Inner Focus

Current Moves: Teleport, Confusion, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch

History and Personality: A gift from Robin's mother who hatched him from an egg, Momo is laid back and almost always sleeping and when startled tends to teleport him and his friends to the closest place he considers safe from whatever he perceives to be a danger to them and himself. While he doesn't do it often these days it's happened a few times and has disoriented Robin more than once.

tumblr_lwe0y2lGT81qej9hso1_400.jpg

Species: ♂️ Mightyena

Nickname: Uril

Type: Dark

Ability: Intimidate

Current Moves: Snarl, Iron Tail, Hyper Voice, Poison Fang

History and Personality: Originally the partner Pokémon of Robin's father, Uril (affectionately called Old Man by Robin on occasion) temporarily retired due to an injury spending a good chunk of Robin's childhood guarding the house and herding wandering Wooloo away from her mother's small garden once he recovered, and when Robin had returned and was eventually ready to leave for Santoris, Uril had followed her to the station with his Ultra Ball in his mouth and her Father reassuring her that the Pokémon made the decision himself.

Uril is serious and protective, but can act like a pup at times despite his age. Sometimes he can be as stubborn as a Tauros, though shows his much softer and calmer side especially compared to Alice's temperament. Many times when Robin isn't around or paying attention, Uril keeps the other two from causing trouble as best he can.

Uril is just slightly bigger than the average Mightyena, but it's not immediately noticeable.

The Chosen Six:
While she'd be interested in being one of the six, she'd also be fine if she wasn't

Sage stands at 5'6" and weighs 130 lbs, with fluffy wavy blonde hair and amber eyes.

She has on a few occasions been mistaken as a guy, which she personally doesn't mind and sometimes finds it amusing.

Age: 20

Pronouns: She/Her

Romantic Orientation: Questioning

Hometown:

Twinleaf Town, Sinnoh (birthplace)

Jubilife City, Sinnoh (where she spent her later teens)

Castelia City, Unova (Current residence)

Biography/Background:

Sage grew up with just her father and brother for as long as she could remember, and from a young age had to help her dad with raising her younger brother Ace. She didn't mind much, despite sometimes complaining and getting into fights with Ace once he was bigger and more of a brat. It was typical in the Blackwell household for the children to yell and cause a ruckus, there was no doubt that the family of three were close and loved each other dearly.

Then their dad passed away when she was fourteen and Ace was eleven due to an accident. Then everything spiraled into uncertainty for a time. What were they going to do? How would they take care of the funeral? Who would take care of it? What about school? The house?

She didn't have to worry about it for too long, since their grandmother entered the picture sometime after and relocated them to Jubilife City, she still held worry for not really herself but for Ace. While they both had different ways of grieving her main concern was how he was holding up. It was the fact that he didn't seem to fully process it that worried her more than anything, but she was sure that he'd eventually come to terms with it and decided to let him take his time.

Even so, after graduating Trainer School, instead of starting a journey just yet, she insisted on staying at home to help her grandmother and brother around the house.

When Ace mentioned wanting to go on a journey himself one day, she'd borrow one of their grandmother's Pokémon and take him out of the house on little field trips along the routes and helped him get his first Pokémon: a Riolu he affectionately called Blue. And then one day while trying to find something to eat in the kitchen came face to face with a shiny Shinx. Her initial concern, was how the overgrown yellow cat raiding their fridge ended up in the house at all. Her secondary concern was said Pokémon trying to make off with some of their cold cuts.

And that's how Ace and Blue found her wrestling a Shinx on the kitchen floor while their Grandma was out playing cards. Ace gave her a Pokeball to catch the cold cut theif and he's been her partner ever since.

When Ace started his journey he had asked her to join him, so she did. The two traveled to Johto, eventually making a fee friends during their travels, one of them being Jomei Tsurugi of Ecruteak City, who she still keeps in touch with today.

The trio planned to travel together, and at one point, Sage met Looker, who was working on a case involving a stolen Pokémon that may have been brought from Hoenn to be sold. Offering her help in any way she could, she found that she quite enjoyed helping the detective and asked if the International Police were looking for potential new members, though at the time he said he'd keep in touch with more information.

She didn't get an affirmative answer until months later, and has been part of the International Police for a little while, moving to work at the Unova branch and living in Castelia City just short of the defeat of Neo Team Plasma, though the older more experienced International Police members of the branch mentioned seeing a few remnants out and about once she finally settled in the new region.

Then one day, her friend and coworker Jade placed a letter addressed to her on her desk, requesting her to head to the Santoris Region. Mostly out of curiosity, she accepted. She also heard that there's supposedly some sort of potential organization looking to cause trouble.

"Sis, is all you eat junk? You're an agent of the International Police." Ace sighed as he looked through his sister's fridge and cabinets, taking out items past their expiration dates.

"Yeah well, I work so much I don't really have time to cook, plus well…I don't really like cooking anyway." Sage huffed, before adding, "plus there's delivery services so I can get it delivered and work on paperwork while I wait."

"This Moomoo milk is a week past it's expiration. When did you last go shopping??" Ace grumbled, glancing over to his sister.

"Last month. I don't buy a lot." Sage replied, moving to help him sort through the things in the fridge and cabinet.

"We can go shopping later, and I can make you one of the curry recipes I learned watching this vlogger from Galar!" Ace declared in determination, earning a smile from Sage.

She was proud to see the seasoned trainer he'd become, from making it all the way to challenging Lance in Johto, to gaining his third badge from Unova, she was happy that he seemed to enjoy traveling with his Pokémon and meeting so many new people. After some discussion, Ace had agreed to watch her apartment along with her coworker Jade while she was in Santoris, since he was in the region for the gym challenge currently.

"What do you plan to do if you beat the current Champ of Unova?" She asked. Ace took a moment to think his answer over before giving her a grin.

"Go back to Johto and see if I can beat Lance this time, then probably visit Alola or Hoenn next after I finish exploring Kanto. " He answered before adding, "I have a list of places to visit and things to try in Roto's notes." He motioned to his Rotom Phone, who chirped and floated nearby causing its little Riolu charm to swing about.

She glanced to the device as it opened the notes app, a list of regions visited and to visit next were in a checklist.

"Maybe you, Grandma, and I can go to Alola together?" Ace suggested, a hopeful gleam in his eyes.

"Yeah, maybe." Sage replied, her gaze growing soft.

After that, Ace insisted on helping her make meals, even making her lunches and helping her pack leftovers to take when he made a bit too much for both them and their Pokémon. His cooking was good, but then again Sage never liked her own cooking to begin with.

"You know, for the first time in I don't know when they've shown something other than Pretty Poképop Power Princess reruns on the weekends." Jomei spoke over the phone, earning an amused snort from Sage as she continued to pack for her upcoming trip in the next three days.

"Is that so? What did they show today?" She asked, double checking that she had enough clothes packed for at least a short while.

"Mostly battle and contest highlights from different regions in the past couple years." He answered.

"Ooh, interesting." She replied. There had been a brief moment where Jomei had joined a contest in Johto during his travels with the Blackwell siblings. He made it rather far, but had lost before the Grand Finals. He took it in stride and wasn't very hung up about it.

"Yeah, I think I read somewhere that Santoris has both battles and contests? You gonna join either of those?" He asked.

"Ehh, I might? Sparky might look cute all dressed up for a contest. Might be a nice change of pace instead of battling crooks and Neo Team Plasma grunts." She answered.

"Ah, that's right, one of those battles made it to the international news didn't it? Someone caught you on video vaulting over a trash can and kicking one of those grunts in the face after he tried getting away while his Pokémon was fighting Sparks, right?" Jomei recalled, earning a grimace from Sage.

She nearly got flour in her eyes and ended up with a ruined suit that day.

"Yeah, well he made me chase him through a restaurant and I wasn't gonna let him get away. Nearly pulled a muscle doing that stunt too." Sage huffed, earning a chuckle from Jomei.

"Well Blondie, I'll let you finish packing."

"Alright Pretty Boy, talk to you later." She replied before hanging up.

Closing up her suitcase with a click, she placed her hands on her hips with a click of her tongue.

---

"You stay safe, Sis, alright?" Ace spoke from the other side of the phone as Sage made her way out of the taxi she took to the airport.

"I will, and you too. I'll make sure to watch you battle the Champ on tv if I don't get front row seats." She chuckled.

"I'll hold you to it!" Ace laughed.

"Ah, I gotta charge, I'll call you when I land okay?" Sage replied.

"Promise?"

"Promise." She replied affectionately, before they ended the conversation and she headed into the airport.

3-5 Personality Traits:

Hot-headed | Short-tempered | Protective

Sage is rather hot-headed and short-tempered, easily growing annoyed when things don't go as planned. While her usual expression can be interpreted as agitated or cold in a 'don't fucking talk to me' sort of sense, she can be rather friendly once she grows to know and trust someone. She has a hard time finding or taking time to relax and quiet her mind, and is also the type who would occasionally work herself past her limits if she had a clear goal she thinks would benefit her and, more importantly, her brother.

When it comes to her brother, she has a bit of a 'no one can mess with him but me' mentality, being one of the first to start an argument or rough house with him, but is quick to defend him from any outside threats or to simply protect him as an older sibling would.

3-5 Virtues:

-Hard working

-Friendly once she knows and trusts you

-Tries to be a good sister

3-5 Vices:

-Her hot-headed and short-tempered nature

-Has a hard time relaxing

-Can come off as rude or cold unintentionally

-A bit gruff around others

-Her grandmother and brother getting hurt

-Losing Sparky

-The dark

3-5 Descriptors:

Type: Electric/Psychic

Ability: Tough Claws

His Mega Stone is on a collar he wears

Nickname: Sparky

Species: ♂️ Luxray

Type: Electric

Ability: Intimidate

Current Moves: Crunch, Swift, Thunder Fang, Night Slash

History and Personality:

Sparky is a curious Pokémon, one that likes to get into things he probably shouldn't. Otherwise, he doesn't mind lazing about and relaxing, doing his best to get his trainer to take a break and relax when he sees that she's too in her head or overworking herself. He is also playful, as a Shinx he would usually trying to get Sage to engage in play or laying in her lap and swatting at her hair to get her attention.

He had been orphaned as a Shinx, and had been wandering close to homes for food when he had noticed an open window and took a chance at finding food, not expecting to fight for it with a human or getting caught by said human. He can't really complain as he's being treated well.

Other Pokémon:

To be added

The Chosen Six:
If she ends up as part of the six, her initial response would be denial, she doesn't see herself as part of some all important prophecy, just someone who wants to help others somehow. If she isn't part of the six, she'd do her best to help protect those who are in any way she can from Team Eclipse.

HOMETOWN (region & town/city)

Was born and initially raised in Goldenrod City in the Johto Region, but moved to Eterna City in Sinnoh at a young age.

BIOGRAPHY/BACKGROUND

Miriam was born in and lived the first 10 or so years of her life in Goldenrod City in the Johto Region. Even as a young girl she had a reputation as a fighter. Mainly because she would always sneak off to try and compete in the bug catching contest without any pokemon of her own, trying to fist fight the pokemon into submission to 'catch' them. In hopes she wouldn't end up having part of her body chopped off by an angry scyther one day, Miriam received a cyndaquil from her parents at the age of 7, which she named Theo. Miriam's family seemed perfectly fine and normal, at least to Miriam. Others living in the city whispered darkly about them. How they always seemed to have lots of money but no one knew where Miriam's parents worked. How people who crossed them always seemed to move out of city soon afterward. How strangely uniformed people kept delivering large covered-cages to the family's 'pet house.' Eventually, as Team Rocket was brought into the spotlight to be recognized as the criminal organization they were, Miriam's parents were arrested for managing a pokemon smuggling trade depot inside Goldenrod City. After her parents arrest, Miriam would be sent to live with her closest living relative: Her aunt and Uncle living in Eterna City in Sinnoh.

The arrests and the move were very tough on Miriam. In a mere few weeks she'd lost all of her friends, been sent across the ocean to a new 'home,' and now had to live with relatives she barely knew. The only connection she had from before the move was Theo, who had by then evolved into a quilava. While she would eventually grow close to her aunt and uncle, Miriam always felt some disconnect to everything around her, like a puzzle piece put away in the wrong puzzle box. She tried hard to make new friends but found they kept disappearing, so she tried catching more pokemon instead. This brought her Mips the golbat and Squala the Gible. Having more pokemon helped Miriam a lot, but as she neared adulthood she began to worry she was wasting her and her pokemon's potential. But what could she do? Nothing seemed to fit with her. She tried being a contest star (she'd always loved watching contests growing up), she considered trying the sinnoh gym and league challenge. She even tried some pokemon ranger training, but nothing seemed to stick.

At a loss of what to do, Miriam decided to go on her own journey. Not to battle gyms or become famous or anything, but just simply to see what she could find in the world. And maybe she'd find herself while she was at it. So with Theo her Quilava, Mips her Crobat, and Squala her Gabite, she set out to discover the world.

3-5 PERSONALITY TRAITS
The first thing to know about Miriam is that she's tough, always one to take the lead. Her great confidence can make her come across as rash and headstrong, which to some extent is true. Her confidence is a balancing act, while she is normally able to keep a level and analytical head she's also had a fair few violent outbursts growing up when her emotions boil over. She pushes herself and others to maximize their potential, taking every advantage possible. She cherishes her friends and family dearly, to the point of over-protectiveness.

3-5 VIRTUES
Miriam sees potential in everyone and everything, and is quite happy to give a friend a supportive pep talk.
She won't back down from a tough task, no matter how hard or dirty. She feels pride in being able to accomplish any task sent her way.
Miriam knows she has struggled with violent emotions in the past, so she works hard to keep herself in check and improve her control.

3-5 VICES
Miriam's belief in maximizing potential can make her out as a pushy perfectionist (especially when it comes to herself and her pokemon)
Her violent tendencies are not by any means completely under control. Whether its because her friends are threatened, someone pushes a nerve too far, or confidence whiplash from unexpected failure, Miriam can suddenly become violent and end up accidentally taking it out on those around her.
Miriam avoids making close personal connections with people because of her violent nature, which is part of why she becomes overprotective of the friends she does make.
She worries a lot about how others perceive her.

3-5 FEARS
Her biggest fear is that one day she'll do irreparable harm to one of her pokemon or her friends during one of her violent outbursts.
Having her pokemon taken away from her
She's afraid of being labelled as useless or worthless, worried she'll be left behind.

3-5 DESCRIPTORS
Miriam always tries to wear 'cute' clothes because she thinks it makes her appearance less 'violent.'
Her hair is almost always messy, she's long given up trying to control it.
She has a wide grin, which reveals she has two chipped teeth from times she got into fights.

OCCUPATION
Miriam isn't sure where she wants to go with her life quite yet, so she's been drifting between different possibilites. She entered a few contest spectaculars as an amateur performer, she's taken a study course on how to be a pokemon ranger, but is currently traveling as a pokemon trainer to learn more about how vast and diverse the world of pokemon really is.

While Viola isn't technically a narcissist, she sure as hell could pass for one. Not that she's completely self-absorbed or anything, but she is standoffish and tends to keep to herself. She's never had the chance to really make friends or acquaintances and only interacts with her fans, whom she's incredibly kind to, or people who work for her or her father, whom she's not so nice to for the most part. Viola is stubborn as they come and anxious when it comes to new people, but she hides this behind tantrums and anger because she's embarrassed of being so anxious. She just wants to be liked, she was an idol after all, that's what she was taught.

Her love lies with Pokemon though, and all thoughts go out the window when she sees a cute one, it's as if her anxiety up and vanishes and she can suddenly ask to pet or cuddle it. She likes to think she gets along better with the creatures than she does humans, but really she just hasn't been able to put in the effort. Now that she’s free from performing though, she’s doing her best under Elyssia to make friends and get better acquainted with the people of Santoris and Delphia Island.

Biography/Background
Nalani was born at a certain time at a certain place somewhere on Melemele Island. That much is all she really knows. One night, a small bundle had been dropped off at the doorstep of a woman living in Iki Town by the name of Aolani Ka'aukai, kept warm and safe by a clearly-trained Lycanroc until morning when she was discovered. Since she was found, she was essentially raised by Aolani and the community of Iki Town, addressing all the adults there as aunties or uncles. The Lycanroc, named Mahina by Aolani, remained by Nalani's side through her youth and adolescence, her Pokemon partner before she even knew what a Pokeball was.

When Nalani turned 12, Mahina mated with a wild male Lycanroc, bidding farewell to the child and leaving behind an egg, which hatched into a little Rockruff. It became Nalani's first real partner upon getting an impromptu lesson on Pokemon-catching from the kahuna. The two hit it off very quickly, bonding and sharing just about everything, from food to the same bed. Almost instantly once she learned of Pokemon training at around the age of 17, she was hooked. Makoa, her Rockruff, was just as much of a fireball, and together, after a few years of training out on Route 1 and with kahuna Hala, the two took on the Island Challenge, encouraged by her adoptive mother.

She travelled across Melemele Island, and soon, Akala, meeting new Pokemon friends along the way.

Kaipo, the Eevee, she found hiding under an abandoned trailer on a route in Akala. With a few sweet words and a malasada, he'd been coaxed out and befriended. Kapua, the Shinx, she received in a trade from a pen pal in Sinnoh. Hiwa, the Lurantis, she caught in Lush Jungle, and Noa, the Stufful, joined her after she impressed it with her battling skills. She trained hard and beat the three captains of Akala, but found herself stopped in her tracks in the battle against Akala's kahuna, Olivia. No matter what she tried, how she approached, Makoa didn't stand a chance against Olivia's Lycanroc. So after trying, failing, and trying over and over again, the kahuna finally encouraged her to take a break and go back home for awhile.

Discouraged, Nalani travelled back home after a bit more sightseeing, greeted with a small celebration to welcome her back to her little town- and a letter. It was an invitation to a whole new region- the perfect opportunity to train against some new Pokemon and learn about new cultures! With little preparation, she decided to take all of her Pokemon along with her, whom she treated like siblings.

Personality Traits
Nalani is just as sweet as she is naive, raised in a small town with simple virtues. She's friendly, clingy and open with just about everyone, embodying the spirit of Alola everywhere she goes. As a result, she can be perceived as a bit of an airhead, or someone who doesn't think ahead. That could certainly be true, but when it comes to her family and Pokemon partners, she'd think up anything in a pinch to protect them. They mean the world to her.

Virtues
- Nalani is extremely easy to be around, a kind and fun-loving girl. She's good at helping people take time for themselves and have some fun.
- She's a great cheerleader, and is the perfect person to hype up friends when it comes to just about anything. Her motto is: Try Everything! She doesn't believe on missing out on experiences just because they "might be scary".
- She sees potential and hope in just about anyone. Whether it's to become something greater or just to break out of their shell, Nalani would try her best to push those she loves to something new and exciting.

Vices
- Some people might find her unending optimism annoying after a while. She's not very good at telling when she's bothering someone rather than helping.
- She's too naive and trusting, which can lead to bad situations if she isn't careful.
- She can get quite loud at times, and has a hard time sitting still. Undiagnosed ADHD might be a factor.

Fears
- She's terrified of losing her Pokemon in some way. If something like that happened, she just wouldn't know what to do.
- She's a bit scared of pushing her Pokemon partners too hard in battle. She doesn't want them to dislike her for any reason.
- She's afraid of being perceived as someone no one wants to spend time with. Without friends or outlets for her optimism, she wouldn't know what to do with it.

Pokemon Partners

Makoa the Rockruff - Male - Keen Eye Ability
Bite
Howl
Rock Throw
Rock Tomb

Makoa is Nalani's very first Pokemon, hatched from the egg left by her "parent" Lycanroc, Mahina. They're as close as siblings, and practically grew up together. They're inseparable. Makoa is a little spitfire, always raring to move or battle, and isn't afraid to make a mess.

Kaipo the Eevee - Male - Adaptability Ability
Swift
Quick Attack
Baby-Doll Eyes
Sand Attack

Kaipo is Nalani's third Pokemon. He's a bit uppity, but would do just about anything for a malasada. He loves to be groomed, and will often demand to be brushed.

Kapua the Shinx - Male - Intimidate Ability
Spark
Bite
Thunder Wave
Volt Switch

Kapua is Nalani's second Pokemon, received in a trade from a pen-pal in the Sinnoh Region named Evelyn. In return, she'd traded a Pichu. Kapua is a go-getter, full of energy. He gets along well with Makoa, and the two are a force to be reckoned with in a double battle.

Noa the Stufful - Female - Fluffy Ability
Brutal Swing
Payback
Take Down
Leer

Noa is Nalani's fourth Pokemon, found in the wild. She was impressed by Nalani's battling and befriended Makoa, ending up joining the team and travelling with her. Noa is fierce and knows her own strength, sometimes acting outside of Nalani's own command.

Hiwa the Fomantis - Female - Leaf Guard Ability
Razor Leaf
Ingrain
Leaf Blade
Synthesis

Hiwa îs the latest edition to Nalani's team, a rather well-groomed little Fomantis that was drawn in by an affinity to Kaipo. They both enjoy accessorizing rather than battling, and will spend time together often.

The Chosen Six
Nalani would absolutely jump at the opportunity to meet and befriend a mythical Pokemon, as she comes from an island that worships Tapu Koko, a legendary Pokemon, but whether she's one of the chosen or not, she'd be happy cheering everyone on.

Tall, lean, and lanky - Alex is typically one of the taller (if not tallest) people in the room, although their towering presence rarely registers as threatening or intimidating in any way. Their height is sometimes mitigated by their posture; while not overtly slouching, they tend to bow slightly downwards with a friendly lean. Much like their presence, their facial features tend to stick to an easy neutrality, lips barely turning upwards at the corner, eyes sparkling with welcome, the warmth of which is cooled by sharply intense analysis. While they may speak and act simply, they give off the impression that they are constantly monitoring their environment, eyes absorbing everything. They tend to hold an unwavering eye contact with those they come across. Likewise, they move with an intense precision - tall form and long, graceful fingers moving in a dreamlike, determined fashion. Because of all this, despite their friendly demeanor, some find them incredibly intimidating. They tend to prefer more "masculine" clothing with cooler and darker colors. Their hair is fluffy.

    Personality
Everybody wants to be a master, everybody wants to show their skill
Some may find them stuffy, some may find them odd, some may find them awkward... Alex is a bit of a divisive figure. They tend to act older than they are, not shying away from responsibility and often assume the role of the impartial judge, but simultaneously seems nervous about commitment and doesn't understand social cues.

Alex wants to "find somewhere they fit in" - a sort of basic goal, but a complicated one nonetheless. They're looking for the place and people they can settle down with and call their home... But they know that it's a huge commitment and want to make sure they choose the "right" choice. So far they have not found the "right" place or people - they've found some
good ones, but not ones that have felt like home yet.

Alex is an intellectual, and loves reading novels and poetry. They also enjoy consuming art in its many forms. Partially because of this habit, they tend to look at things in a deeper, more symbolic way; some people consider this behavior to be pretentious.

Alex loves Pokemon. They really come out of their shell when interacting with Pokemon, and truly feel comfortable around them. Although, they do long for some more human friends as well...
