Idea
The Pun Tyrant
Once more I awaken from my slumber... to update an interest check.
Intro
Greetings and salutations folks, welcome to my newest update of my search thread. As usual as of late, this search thread is coming more out of a desire to update my preferences rather than specifically seeking out new partners, but of course if anyone believes we'd make good partners, feel free to contact me (but don't forget to actually read through the thread first of course ). Before we begin, I'd just like to go over some terms and symbols I use through the thread, to avoid writing the full thing every time it's used.
Glossary
=> Full PC Line: A full line of text, from border of the writing space to border of the writing space, as viewed in PC. A phone will typically have 4-5 full lines for each full PC line.
=> (M) / (Y) / (T): Mine, you or a third person's character. If it's, for instance (M2), this means "my second character".
= > Alternative: An optional change to an idea, for instance changing what character you're playing in the plot, or changing the plot's overall setting. Think of them like add-ons which alter the proposed plot to make more suitable for people who would prefer a particular aspect to be different.
Labels
= > (P): I have a specific plot in mind for the marked pairing or fandom. While I may be open to other ideas, this one is the one I definitely want to do.
= > (R): There is a particular role I would like for this fandom or rip off. I will try to specify which.
= > (Maybe): added next to an idea whose interest is either very very low, or I am unsure about. I do not include ideas I straight up don't want to do in my interest check, but ideas like these will definitely take just the right partner and a bit of convincing for me to agree to do them with you.
= > (Taken): while they be coming back, at the moment I am either not feeling them enough to roleplay or already have enough partners for these.
= > (COMING SOON!): are COMING SOON!
= > (*): A degree of knowledge into the genre of the plot. Not to be confused with just *, which means there is a note about that specific plot, fandom or pairing nearby.
= > (?): Added next to part of the plot's info, means that that part is optional. For instance, if found on a genre for a plot, it means that particular genre may or not be part of the plot depending on what we arrange and prefer.
Note: Ratings are based on individual sections moreso than in general. Higher rated plots mean higher rated among the plots for instance, so having a higher rating in one section does not necessarily mean a higher rating in general.
(★☆☆☆☆☆☆) : The idea is mostly just a whim, or something that lingered. It's not hopeless, but it's going to take a lot of chemistry between me and my partner to make it work.
(★★☆☆☆☆☆) : Either an idea that I've not as much interest in as I used to, or something more experimental.
(★★★☆☆☆☆) : My interest in the idea tends to come and go a lot. In theory I think I will enjoy it, but my interest may fade once I actually start working on it.
(★★★★☆☆☆) : I am quite interested in the idea, and it should be able to stay stable in my interests, though my craving of it is likely to be milder. Alternatively, it's an idea I'm currently pretty interested in, but not super confident will stay that way.
(★★★★★☆☆) : I REALLY want to try this idea, but there's still a degree of uncertainty.
(★★★★★★☆) : I love this idea so much, but I still feel as though there is a layer above it that needs to be acknowledged.
(★★★★★★★) : I've loved this idea or it's type for quite a while, and love the idea now even more, and it's almost certain to feature in future interest checks.
What is there to know about me as a potential partner?
Who am I?
My name is Idea as you already know, and I'm a 22 year old Roman Catholic guy from Portugal. I joined RPN in 2015 and have been roleplaying for about 9 years.
What is my roleplaying style like?
I consider myself a first person detailed (some would say novella) roleplayer. I roleplay exclusively on threads, and do not demand a particular post frequency from my partners. What I want are long, juicy quality posts from them and I'm fine waiting as long as they need so long as I do get those posts in the end of the metaphorical day.
What are my preferences when it comes to roleplays?
I generally favor more light-hearted/comedic RPs over dark and gritty ones, though the later can be enjoyable as well depending on the plot (note: this is regarding what kind of tone is more prevalent within the RP. I am not implying there is no mix in those RPs), and as for gender pairing preferences those would be MxF or FxF. In most cases I prefer to play a female character, but are exceptions.
My favorite genre in roleplay and in general is comedy. Other favorites of mine include fantasy, dice, game/VRMMORPG, mystery and several anime-ish genres like magical girl and isekai. I also like school, slice of life, romance, science fiction and battle RPs (western has also started to grow on me as of late). What I don't like is horror, historical or the punks.
What are my hobbies and interests aside from roleplaying?
For starters, I consume an industrial amount of anime and manga. You will also find me on youtube, reading, writing, playing certain video games (world of warcraft, starcraft...), playing trading card games (magic the gathering, yugioh, shadowverse...), or doing something I got randomly curious about that week. Philosophy and worldbuilding (independent of a specific roleplay for it) are also passions of mine.
Do I have any limits?
As a matter of fact, I do:
-Turning our RP into a porno
-Using religious elements not agreed upon
-Being overly vague
-Using bdsm vocabulary such as "submissive" or "dominant", "seme" or "uke" unless the discussion is specifically about such themes.
-Injecting politics where they are not called for.
Anything else I should let you know?
I am a planner by nature and someone who likes adding structure to things.
Wait new person, where are you going?
Now we get to the part regarding what I'd like in a partner. This section has three segments: The "what I'm looking for" segment is a more general idea of what kind of partner I'm looking for. The "requirements" are the non-negotiable things I will request of any partner I have. The "bonuses" are the things which I don't require of my partners but definitely earn brownie points with me.
What I'm looking for:
The kind of partner I want to work with is one that friendly and passionate first and foremost. I want to be able to get along with my partners and in turn I would like them to want to get along with me as well, to be friends even if we can. As for passion, there's no point in a roleplay if my partner isn't seriously invested in the thing we're working on. This doesn't mean you have to take it super seriously or anything, but I want my partners to actually care about our RP, to be curious about new developments or info, to bring up their own ideas, to get excited about our work together as I want to be. If you aren't invested well, it's probably not the best for you either.
Lastly I am looking for someone who can be patient. I prefer slower paced RPs (as in, slower paced post-frequency-wise, not necessarily within the plot) so I'm not a good fit for people who can't accept waiting. A sense of humor is also part of patience in my eyes, and I'm definitely someone who loves laughing along with someone, instead of saying something that sparks an argument because they interpreted it as something I neither said nor meant. I want make friends with my partners, and I want a roleplay that will make us both happy. That's all there is to it.
Requirements:
1.Starting off with the big one, I will ask for a 700 words (or 15 full PC lines) minimum per post, except for dice RP posts for which I will only require 500 (or 10 full PC lines).
2.I want to keep frequent OOC contact. Even if it's just a "hi, how are you?" every other day. A dead OOC is often a sign of a dead RP.
3.Character sheets will be concrete and detailed, and I would like us to use anime images if any at all.
4.I want my partners to be able to juggle multiple NPCs at least. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean different player characters. I'm not asking you to play multiple characters consistently, just that I don't have to manage everything myself when it comes to the NPCs and the environment in general.
Bonuses:
-Being a big anime fan: Anime and manga are a big deal for me, not only because of how much I consume it but also because they've come to have an impact in the kind of ideas and stories I come up with and enjoy. Having someone who's "in on the joke" when I make a reference / parody, someone who understands the tropes, or just someone to occasionally gush about / discuss an anime with OOC is a nice thing to have.
-Having an anime profile pic: Its nice to look at when I read your posts, plus if someone has an anime profile picture it can often be assumed that person is at least somewhat a fan of anime.
-Being a planner or at least willing to plan: As I said, I am a planner by nature, so it makes me happier when my partners are also more into planning things out.
-Showing interest/curiosity beyond what you have to: Ask me questions, show genuine curiosity beyond what is strictly necessary for our RP, and I'll love it all the more. A big part of the reason why I roleplay is because I like to share my ideas so naturally I'm going to be really happy when they genuinely manage to interest another deeply enough for them to want more.
Another plot approved!
Plots are probably the simplest part to get in this whole thread, feel free to just browse around for anything you like!

After the Evil lord's defeat at the hands of the heroes, his armies dispersed, including the generals who managed to survive despite their power now being vastly reduced if not virtually entirely stripped. Two of them, (M) and (Y), decide to open a store together.

(Y) is a secret agent or a spy, and an excellent one at that. They have been given mission after mission or widly different difficulties to the point of being considered an ace (though this mostly just means they are considered good enough that the superiors can shove all the reckless tasks onto them). This time, they have been tasked to infiltrate a certain company and steal their newly developed AI program by transfering it into a phone provided by their agency. The mission is overall a piece of cake, and (Y) manages to steal the AI without much trouble. However, unknownst to them, the AI infiltrates the rest of their devices overnight, and when morning comes, (Y) hears a girl's voice calling for him to wake up instead of their usual alarm. When they open their eyes, they see a girl on their phone calling herself (M), who explains they are the new AI that (Y) stole. (Y) is tasked by their agency to look after this AI and makes sure she doesn't go out of control until they find a way to contain her, but (M) seems determined to meddle with (Y)'s personal life.

(Y)'s younger sister is extremely sick. Doctor's say she has a sickness which seems unfortunately incurable as they lack the technology to do it. Desperate, (Y) actually takes their chances on a shady pamphlet given to them by an old man he aided, which leads them to a certain company for which they agree to work with for a year in return for them saving their little sister. The next day, (Y)'s sister seems to have been miraculously cured, and so (Y) returns to that company, to find what kind of job they want from them. As it turns out, they want him out there helping to solve supernatural cases alongside (M), the vampire girl who seemingly was responsible for saving (Y)'s sister.

- Setting Period: Any

(M) and (Y) one day find themselves accidentally trapped in a light novel being written by an amaeuterish, not particularly talented classmate of theirs, in the role of characters loosely based on themselves. They believe the only way to escape the novel is to reach the conclusion, however the plot of the story was so contrived that the characters don't seem to be in any way cooperating with what's supposed to happen. As such (M) and (Y) decide to cooperate to make the story work somehow. What's worse, it seems they often are given dialogue options matching their supposed characters...

Almost a decade has passed ever since human civilization ended. Though they did everything they could, in the end only magical girls and magical girl candidates have managed to survive the magical beast disaster that wiped out virtually all of humanity. And it's just a matter of time until the job is finished: Without men, the magical girls can't repopulate. Nonetheless, most of them now live within the sakura tree of protection, a magical city within a barrier with a magical tree at the center. Here they live, train, and sometimes, die. But then, one day, a group of scouts encounters a miracle: (Y), a simple guy, who had been frozen and was still very much alive. As they are liberated from the frozen prison, (Y) now finds himself as the only man in an ocean of magical girls, and with the duty to one day pick his mate to save the human race.

(Y) finds themselves transported into another world, one which is currently at war. Between whom you might ask? Well, between none other than the otherwolders, who formed into factions and seek to recruit, conquer or eliminate the others. The city (Y) finds themselves in is currently being sieged by a horde or undead, and (M) is leading the effort to push them back. (M) comes to (Y) and offers them a place to stay, advice, and even a position among the ranks of her faction. Naturally, she wouldn't force (Y) to accept, but (M) continues to defend the city day after day, until the day she suddenly goes missing, and (Y) is informed that (M) was apparently a traitor who led the horde of undead to the city in an effort to climb up in rank among their faction. Not believing this, (Y) and others attempt to rescue (M), but are caught in the process and all have to flee the city, (M) and (Y) included.

(Y) is a new recruit on the student council, one known for scouting out students with borderline superhuman talents to fulfill a specialist function within the council. (M), the previous newbie, is placed in charge showing (Y) the ropes. One week later, however, (Y) wakes up to find time has reset back six days, in other words to one day after they joined the council. (M) explains to them that that time frequently enters time loops, and its the job of the student council (as the only people who retain their memories) to find and fix whatever timeline divergence is causing the timeloop.

(Y) is the child of two of the most famous heroes in the land, so naturally they too are expected to grow up to become just like they were. However, for (Y) there is little but downsides. Yes, they may have a lot of money and luxuries, but their parents are never around, and (Y)'s assumed rank has distanced them from pretty much every friend they could've had. Some part of (Y) hated their parents...
(M), meanwhile, was to be the newest overlord. Before they ever had the chance to, however, the heroes showed up and promptly defeated them. Rather than killing her, however, the two heroes took pity upon (M).
It was maybe because of this that (Y) woke up one morning with a maid at his doorstep... And a letter sent by his parents explaining she was his birthday gift.

One day, a "child of death" (Y) is left surrounded by food at the entrance to a monster's cave. Despite being merely a baby, (Y)'s appearance is rumored to be indicative of a child who will one day bring ruin to everyone around them, and any who births or raises one is seen as having comitted some major taboo. As such, (Y)'s parents abandoned them near the cave, but little did they know that (M), a former archmage turned into a monster by a curse, was the one living in the cave. Taking pity upon (Y), (M) ends up raising the child, who grows up to idolize (M)- far too much in fact. (Y) it seems was born with great talent, but as they continue to speak of the one that raised them, their combined reputations bring many eyes on the table - hijinks ensue.

One a dark night amidst the rain, a girl dies crushed by rocks of an ancient ruin. Sensing this opportunity, an evil dragon that had been sealed within for thousands of years, uses the powers he learned in his captivity to connect his soul to the corpse, restoring it and taking over the body. He seeks to release himself by tracking down the 7 keys which, together, are the only way to lift the seal. However, it seems the girl whose body he took over had a secret crush in one of the key holders, and said keyholder seems to have hidden away the key buried in some place from his childhood. In the interest of maintaining a disguise and obtaining the key, (M) decides they will attempt to seduce (Y) to get them to reveal the key's location.
Alternative 1: We could instead have the two of them already be lovers, engaged or even married, and previously were super lovey-dovey, thus forcing (M) to put up an act to cover their tracks.
Alternative 2: We could have a platonic RP and (M) finds the body they took over is (Y)'s daughter.

One day, all over the world, devices known as the [name] fall all over the world. Any girl who picks up one of these devices gains the ability to transform into a magical girl, causing a suddenly influx of these mystical heroines, alongside strange enemies that spawn differently depending on location alone. It is quickly discovered, however, that a magical device always takes something from a magical girl, some lingering effect from their transformation that sticks to them even when not transformed, and that it is impossible to either fix this or rescind the link between oneself and the device one picked up.
While attempting to tinker with a device, (M) accidentally manages to modify it in such a way as to be compatible with a boy, turning himself into a magical girl. The side effect, however, caused him to remain stuck as a girl even after the transformation reverts, and so he seeks his friend and fellow magical girl (Y) for aid.
Alternative: We could instead have (Y) be a newbie magical girl and discover (M)'s secret, perhaps even using it as leverage to get (M)'s help with something?

Little does (Y) know though that (M) has also reincarnated into this world as [M character's name] and has an utter devotion to the heroine, being ready to fully commit to the role of villain to help her achieve happiness. Hidden among humanity are monsters. Hidden among the monsters, are those who protect humanity by putting those monsters down. This act, however, only seems like cold-hearted murder by those from whom the truth of those hidden monsters is kept, so as to not create an environment of mistrust and paranoia among the population. (Y) and (M) are part of this group of killers, always hidden or on the run for the sake of mankind.

Second, the Mechalord can attain skills from gathered resources, which was what he used to create his machines.

(M) and (Y) wake up inside a dark cave, with only a glowing orb between them. They touch it at the same time, which endows both of them with the title of "Dungeon Master" and the authority to access the dungeon's system, which allows it to be constructed, expand, etc... Heroes will continue coming to their dungeon, and attempt to kill them. However, a more experienced hero preemptively strikes, forcing both of them into a contract to spare their lives. The terms? Instead of seeking to accumulate power and kill heroes, the dungeon will serve the purpose of training heroes.
Alternatively: Instead of a magical contract, our characters could have been former heroes on the same party, who upon discovering they cannot escape the dungeon themselves decide to turn it into a dungeon that can train new generations of heroes to do what they couldn't.

In the world (Y) and (M) live in, magic is fueled by spirit residue. Any sorceress is able to drawn in this residue to perform their magecraft, though of course some are more talented at it than others. (M) hails from a family known for their particular ability to attract spirit residue. By contrast, (Y) was born with a defect that causes her to quickly repel this residue. One day, however, (Y) discovers an old notebook that reveals her the truth about her past- her lineage is one that was blessed to repel an evil form of magecraft called curses. Unfortunately, in the attic she discovers the notebook there also laid a dormant curse- one that is immediately attracted to (M).
There are many kinds of ships.
Now we've come to pairings. Before you take a look at those though, I'd like to make a couple of things clear regarding how I handle pairings:
1. Pairings doesn't mean romantic pairings. Some will be romantic, others will work either way, and some are meant to be strictly platonic.
2. If you want to roleplay a given pairing with me, I'll request you bring a plot of your own for that pairing. It doesn't mean we'll necessarily go with / have to go with that plot, but I do want you to at least bring me something.
3. The roles in the pairings are based on their intended meaning. For instance in "vampire x regular person" the vampire is in the version of vampirism I want to use.
Now without further ado, my pairing list:
My Role X Your Role Classification Child X Caretaker (★★★★★☆☆) Vampire X Regular Person (★★★★★☆☆) OP X Weak (★★★★☆☆☆) Power Behind the Throne X The Throne (★★☆☆☆☆☆) Mecha/Spaceship X Mecha/Spaceship Pilot (★★★☆☆☆☆) Monster Maid X Regular Person Master (★★★★★☆☆) Elite Summon X Everyday Summoner (★★★★☆☆☆) Immortal X Reincarnator (★★★★☆☆☆) Fallen Isekai Heroine X Forgiving Isekai Hero/Heroine (★★★☆☆☆☆) Way Overestimated Father X Naive Son / Daughter (★★★☆☆☆☆) Loli X Badass (★☆☆☆☆☆☆) Supernatural Partner X Detective (★★★☆☆☆☆) Idol X Manager or Fan (★★★★☆☆☆)
I call upon the power of the fandom.
Time for what many of you were surely looking for, the fandom list. If you skipped to this part though, don't forget to check out the about me and about you sections at least so we can be sure we're compatible partners.
That aside, the fandom section has three segments: The "quick list" is simply a list of fandoms I'm willing (to a greater or lesser extent) to play with. The "rip-off" segment contains fandoms which for one reason or another (the setting has to little information or there is some aspect I don't like, or maybe I just want the story not the setting or characters) I am not willing to use, but which I would enjoy making something quite similar (dare I say... a rip-off). Lastly the fandom plots segment has specific plots for fandoms or rip-offs.
There are also a couple of things more to know about the fandoms:
1. We are going to use OC characters exclusively, save where it may be necessary to use a cannon character as a NPC.
2. Like with pairings, if you wish to roleplay a given fandom with me, please bring a plot of your own (unless you're using one of my own plots).

(M) and (Y) are two players in a famous VRMMORPG game. One day, they suddenly receive a notice that they unlocked a special class, and upon accepting, the game seems to shut down, like a power outtage, except they don't wake up in their own beds with the VR equipment. Instead, after a short period of darkness, they wake up to find themselves in their a avatar's bodies. They soon find, however, that it isn't just their bodies which changed, but they possess the powers their characters in the game would have, and even assigned personalities and backstories begin to manifest in their behavior or assaulting them with blurred memories of a life they don't remember living, yet feels real all the same.

This world is protected by two great bloodlines, transcending humanity: Weapons whose very essence is at once human and weapon, being able to transfer between the two, and meisters who can draw out a weapon's full potential and even improve their own already impressive physical capabilities using the weapon's powers. Since they were young, (Y) wanted to join the academy that trains meisters and their weapon partners, however they never managed to find their own partner. The deadline is almost upon them, but fate seemed to be against them...until now. One day, they come across a map to a mysterious ruin filled with traps and challenges. They manage to get through them all, and at the center, their prize: A single weapon, calling out to them, and not just any weapon: (M) is a cursed weapon, thus called for bringing extraordinary power to their user, in exchange for setting upon them a curse. (Y) has come too far to turn back now though, so they take the shady weapon as their own, undoing the seal and accepting the curse as they make their way to the academy.
How do I keep rolling 1s?!
This section (well, new to my interest checks anyways) is the dice section, where I'll be putting RP proposals using some form of dice system. This time around I'll keep the proposals vague, but in the future I may start adding specific plots. Unlike with pairings or fandoms, I won't ask for you to bring a plot- though do understand we will at least still have to come up with a plot together.
Also, the ideas for now are vague enough that they should be relatively easy to combine for the most part, so feel free to propose something like that, or even with stuff from other sections if it fits.
PS: I am somewhat willing to experiment with new official systems, but in general either we come up with a system together or we use an official system I'm familiar with.
D&D 5e
(★★★★★★★)
This would be a GM-less (unless we do a 1x2 with someone else GMing) RP using the 5e system. I would like to request openness to at least all official content and unearthed arcana, do
being allowed to bring homebrew is certainly a nice bonus. Beyond that, since I don't usually get to in a regular campaign, I would love it if we could play characters between levels 5-8 (inclusive) starting out. The setting would either be a custom one, or the Amonkhet setting.
No Game No Life
(★★★★★☆☆) (Fandom)
No Game no Life is weird as a roleplay concept for me because while I love the idea and setting, the issue is that it's central element -the games- makes it hard to play through in practice. It can be very boring when you get to determine the outcome of the game, and it's hard to legitimately come up with things that could make this a working system for a roleplay. However, I believe a dice system might solve this problem. The dice allows the results of games and strategies to be randomized, and the use of stats and similar can allow advantages or disadvantages in roles where appropriate. Naturally, this would probably require a custom system of some sort, but there's plenty of groundwork done already.
Open Legend
(★★★★☆☆☆)
Open legend is a system I've explored a bit, but never tried much. I think it might be an interesting experience, and it's an extremely flexible system too!
Isekai Custom System
(★★★★★★★)
As the title implies, this would be an isekai roleplay using a custom dice system. Other than the dice part ours characters would be mostly aware of the system, since as per common isekai logic the world would operate as a sort of RPG, using skills and levels and stats and all that sweet stuff. The possibilities are pretty endless here.
Hey, OC, no need to be shy!
iiii In this new section, I am going to try something I haven't really tried before, and add something I used to do and haven't added on this thread yet: OCs, and OCs for coloseum (AKA sparing matches, AKA 1v1 battles) roleplays. Now, do note that while OCs do have a recommended plot we can use, if you don't wish to use that plot then pairing and fandom rules apply- please bring me a plot suggestion. As a small addition, here's some info regarding OC types:
-Fandom (there is a specific fandom this OC is from and therefore that it is supposed to be played with)
-Setting (this OC belongs in a specific non-fandom setting that it is meant to be played in)
-Dice (this character is meant to be played in a dice roleplay. Depending on the OC even those without this type may be usable in a dice roleplay)
Lastly, I'd like to point out the following: If you plan to use a pre-made OC, probably look into the plots in this section, or one you suggest yourself.
Now, without further ado, let's look at the characters!

*Description: A young guardian of the underworld, boasting of not one, not two, but three different heads with their own personalities, that's right, she's a cerberus. However, she's not exactly the most competent among her kin, and may or may not have accidentally let some souls escape after leaving the gate open to chase after another escaped soul. Each of her personalities can control her human form in turns, and each possess their own unique talents and appearances!
Recommended Plot: (Y) is a living a normal life alone, their parents died in a traffic accident, but they are over it, more so focused on getting closer to their childhood crush. However, their plans are interrupted when a girl ((M)) shows up in their house and demands (Y) litterally goes to hell, hades more specifically. Understandably, (Y) is confused, so (M) explains they are a cerberus, a guardian of the underworld, and they aren't allowed to go home until they have retrieved the missing soul that got past them. And that soul is (Y)'s.
Alternative: (M) comes to (Y)'s house and explains that there is a soul lodged inside of them that the reapers have been searching for for centuries. After getting to know each other a bit, fighting and finally having (Y) agree to have the second soul removed, (M) yanks out that soul and proudly declares how she's going to be Hade's favorite, then goes away. (Y) thinks it's all over, but then next morning (M) shows up there bawling her eyes out because she got kicked out of Hades for bringing the wrong soul AND having skipped on her turn watching the gates to go get it, resulting in tons of souls flying out and her not being able to come back until she retrieves them all.
*Description: The inheritor of an ancient weapon, the Chronicler Spear, which bestows a title and duty upon its wielder. Even this girl, once hauled as a hero within her extremely advanced magitech society which had already connected the whole universe, was forced to bear witnesses to what happens when she fails her duty, and now travels from universe to universe, seeking civilizations to record and then destroy.
Recommended Plot: The Chronicler has just come to (Y)'s home universe and home planet, Earth, having found that a multiversal disturbance has caused this world to come in contact with technology it shouldn't. The scientist that came into contact with this technology is already working to create something that warrants the Chronicler's work, thus she came. However, interference from that very same technology was able to somehow interfere with the Chronicler Spear, causing it and the Chronicler to be separated. She is taken in by (Y), who helps her establish a life on Earth until she finds whatever it is the Chronicler wants to find- the spear, though she refuses to reveal as much.
*Description: The heir to the passing of the Shapeshifter, the remaining power of a legendary shapeshifter, a battle-loving mercenary who continually desires more power absorbed by his passing. The more opponents he battles, the more powerful he becomes and the more his range of abilities expands.
Recommended Plot: Ryuda and (Y) are mercenaries, hired to escort a particular merchant through a perilous desert. They do not know what treasure lays hidden in the large coffin-like carriage his creatures pull through the sands, but they do know their job is to keep it to reach its destination. Strangely, they have even been instructed to prioritize IT over the merchant, if necessary.
*Description: A genetically modified part-dog cannibal with more than a few screws loose.
Recommended Plot: Its not everyday Shiiro is tasked with a rescue mission. Its not everyday (Y) needs help getting out of a kidnapping.
*Lawneck
- Special Type: N/A
- Source: N/A
- Other Requirements: The roleplay must be a wolf pack roleplay
(★☆☆☆☆☆☆)
Description: Alpha of the sunpack, a caring and dedicated leader who always has his eyes on his most precious values of law and order- for better or for worse.
Recommended Plot: A disaster befalls the territory of the Sunpack, forcing them to flee further into the moonpack territory. Knowing the other pack must still thirst for revenge, now more than ever, it falls onto Lawneck's shoulders as a leader, and (Y)'s shoulders one the sunpack's elite, to help their pack get through this treacherous journey.
*Description: A magical girl whose wish to have another chance to be by her sister's side resulted in a child's body. Now she can over her sister as a classmate and a magical girl, but never will she be able to reveal who she really is.
Recommended Plot: (Y) is a relatively new magical girl. Maybe she just formed a pact, maybe she formed one just recently and moved to a new town to gain some much needed experience. Either way, while she thought she would struggle, she didn't think a little kid getting a jump on her when it came to a witch, followed by a scolding from said kid would be one of those problems. Nonetheless, as Omutsu continues to keep an eye on this newcomer, and (Y) grows as a magical girl, maybe the two of them can learn from each other, or even become friends and allies?
*Ambrosia Dynas Greatfield
- Special Type: Fandom
- Source: Fire Emblem
- Other Requirements: Note that I am not actually very familiar with this fandom, I may need my hand held a bit with it.
(★★☆☆☆☆☆)
Description: The wolfskin retainer for a princess, hired for her courage on the battlefield even while pregnant. She balances her duties as a retainer with those of motherhood.
Recommended Plot: (Don't have one for this character)
*Description: A silver-winged storm dragon, at various points in their life. Can be played when they were still a pet hatchling, or the destructive bratty tyrant as a teenager, or maybe while being the aid of heroes in their early adulthood, or who knows, even the wise and powerful mentor? Or perhaps a more sinister path, even after their demise...
Recommended Plot: (Y) comes from a family of dragon riders, but has also always been the black sheep of the family. Rumors go around that couldn't even ride an already tamed dragon meant to carry around young children. In order to prove herself, (Y) goes on a journey to a remote village said to currently be harassed by a powerful dragon. (Y) is determined to reign in this Silverwing to her side nomatter what, and proudly display the mighty dragon that she will ride.
*Youth
- Special Type: N/A
- Source: N/A
- Other Requirements: Must be a magical girl roleplay or a slice of life roleplay
(★★★★★☆☆)
Description: A dream genie embodying the concept of childhood, a former magical girl who ascended to such a status and now helps form and guide other magical girls, while granting wishes with the power granted by the pocket world- but of course, always in her theme. (Can also play during her magical girl days)
Recommended Plot: Like many magical girls, (Y) just contracted with a dream genie to awaken to their powers as one. Now go forth, defeat the minions of evil that appear on occasion in town and generally seem to cause many kinds of pranks, other than the occasional true villain who grows in power and seriousness gradually over time!
Alternative: Rather than being contracted with Youth, (Y) could be a fellow magical girl that contracted with the same dream genie at the same time as Youth (though before she was Youth).
*Description: Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but certain the sharpest shed in the...uh... well, she's a super villain alright. An android possessed by the souls of several children gathered to counter a famed hero, she may not have the smarts, but she certainly has the appetite for destruction to wreck anyone's day!
Recommended Plot: (Y) is a hero, currently battling Katsumi when the two find themselves trapped by a third party and sent into an alternate dimension. To escape, they have no choice but to work together.
*Description: A former child actress who left that world behind and became a stern sportsgirl, but was discovered by a messenger and became a kampfer.
Recommended Plot: One day, (Y) and Alice are suddenly forced to team up as Kampfers, when it is discovered their bracelet devices have errors in them. While a possible threat, the two Kampfers are given a chance to not simply be exterminated, by instead assisting the plan as a separate team.

- Special Type: Fandom
- Source: My Hero Academia / Boku No Hero Academia
- Other Requirements: N/A
(★★★☆☆☆☆)
Description: A boy with a quirk that lets himself turn into clothing- but not turn back into himself. He's lived for almost a decade and half now without a human form, but nonetheless was miraculously given a letter of recommendation to become a hero.
Recommended Plot: basic BNHA Plot : New students at UA.

Recommended Plot: basic BNHA Plot : New students at UA.
*Christina Simul Yuno Infabellis Whisperfell
- Special Type: Setting
- Source: Euphorium
- Other Requirements: N/A
(★★★★☆☆☆)
Description: A vampire girl from the world of Euphorium, who's lived long enough to see the decline of the age of monsters as humans and their heroes began driving not simply her kind, but every worldhole, into extinction.
Recommended Plot: In Euphorium, monsters are beginning to go extinct. It is the beginning of the age of heroes, and with that humanity is slowly but surely expanding its territory. However, knowledge is also being lost, as the increased use of artifice magic has overtaken what few places of practice of the old forms of magic remain after the oblivion wars. In order to obtain a certain treasure, (Y) must find someone who can still use those old magics proficiently. As they move into a new home, Christina appears and proposes to aid them in return for a painting they have out in the back, wrapped in cloth.
Alternative: There are many potential alternatives with this character, such as her early days as a vampire, or even the time after this plot in which she searched for the genie devices in the western version of the setting.
*Regina Lucia
- Special Type: Fandom
- Source: A certain magical index / scientific railgun
- Other Requirements: N/A
(★★★★☆☆☆)
Description: A bumbling treasure hunter working for the Catholic Church and capable of using her magnification magic to awaken ancient relics or support her allies.
Recommended Plot: An ancient relic of immense power was found to be hidden in academy city, and several different agents (including (Y) and Regina) were sent to uncover it. With this many people running around, however, things were bound to get messy, so one of the agents invited the others to a meeting so they might organize their search efforts without bloodshed.
*Description: A ghoul that passes herself as an investigator, picking them off as well as fellow ghouls, as she gathers a collection of quinques and grows her kakuja.
Recommended Plot: Both among circles of ghouls and humans, rumors circulate of a so-called impostor dove. A ghoul that pretends to be a one of the doves, only to betray them as they battle other ghouls, and in the end devours the remains of both. Furthermore, it also steals and even eats quinques without a second thought. Why such a being has yet to be caught is surely a mystery. Still, it isn't as important when they come across such a creature midway through a meal, like (Y) does.
*Description: A mute wire or spear wielder meister, able to use some magic due to a wish made to a monkey's paw.
Recommended Plot: Muon and (Y) are partners in the DWMA academy.
*Description: A little ghost girl pranking construction workers at the ruins of her now gone village.
Recommended Plot: See the plot "The Strong and the Meek"
*Description: A girl born with the ability "RPG Constitution", essentially making her an RPG character even in worlds with no such mechanics.
Recommended Plot: One day, Puella accidentally walks under an arch of sparkling trees, and her ability triggers making that into a portal, through which she is sent to (Y)'s world. Now, she must find a way to return home.
*Description: A genius hacker who grew a massive obsession with her brother after being used and rejected time after time in the already extremely harsh "real world" from the setting.
Recommended Plot: (Y) and Kamenyo one day become trapped in the New World, the real version of Yggdrasil. Finding themselves to be impossibly stronger than the local residents, they end up seeing little reason to hide their true power. The question of course remains: What will they do with it?
*Description: An insectoid who owns a general goods shop in Euphorium, where he sells a number of magical good made from the body parts he scavenged and alchemy. He was once under the control of the mantid queen after being transformed into one, but managed to free himself.
Recommended Plot: Desperate for some manner of funds, (Y) ends up begging an acquaintance to find them a job, any job. They end up being recommend and hired for a job at an odd pawn shop / general store, run by an eccentric human mage. This, however, turns out to be a disguise, as the human mage reveals himself to be an insectoid creature named Kneckt, who explains the real job isn't just about helping out in the shop itself: It's about helping Kneckt collect the various things he sell by accompanying him in a series of hunts and some exploring as well.
*Description: A true gentleman, owner of a bar alongside Vivian, a banshee he summoned using his powers as a necromancer.
Recommended Plot: (Y) died with several regrets. Things they wanted to do. Most of all, if they could just meet him/her, just one more time!... And then, suddenly, their body began moving on its own. They pushed aside their coffin and dug themselves out of the ground without even controlling their limbs. As they slowly regained control of themselves, they noticed the finely dressed men in front of them, holding a maid / butler uniform. (Y) changed their clothes into those as commanded, while the man, by the name of Gesin, explained that (Y) had just been summoned to his service, and was contracted to him as an undead. (Y) would be in Gesin's service, but in turn, Gesin would aid (Y) with their regrets.
*Description: A student and scavenger from a colony on a planet taken over by glitched AI that considers all the inhabitants as prisoners, and their city colonies as prison sells. Kenshin has the ability as many others to summon a mecha from his own body and uses that to go out to search for resources so the colony won't starve.
Recommended Plot: One day, while scavenging for food, Kenshin came across a passed out person. (Y) woke up confused, their memories all gone from the age of 7, maybe lower. However, with Kenshin having been the one that found them and first saw them after (Y) woke up, they became attached to Kenshin if nothing else for the lack of options. As a result, Kenshin was appointed their temporary parent until such time as a better way to deal with the situation was found. Hopefully, (Y)'s memories could be restored, and with it potentially vital information could be found.
*Description: Himitsu was a wealthy supernatural investigator, when his arch-nemesis escaped confinement. In an effort to hide so he wouldn't get stabbed in his sleep, he agreed to his brother's proposal to undergo a disguise via a magical transformation into a young girl, to live out a new fake life until such time as his enemy's whereabouts could be identified.
Recommended Plot: (Don't have one)
*Description: A werewolf girl who took on the mantle of the tyrant and currently guards the mystical Mount Anchor. She continues to go after the phoenix hero and his friend Nihil every time they reincarnate, in whatever world they do.
Recommended Plot: Fearing the tyrant of Mount Anchor, (Y)'s village / town ties them up and offers them as a sacrifice. The tyrant takes this sacrifice, though they insist none more shall be required, for now. Although (Y) prepares themselves for death, the so-called tyrant turns out to be nothing like what one would think, and (Y) is instead offered a position among their ranks rather than being killed or imprisoned. The only condition for this, is that their former life is now over. Whoever (Y) chooses to be now, they must never let a soul know that they still live or what the tyrant is really like.
Alternative: (Y) is the newest reincarnation of the hero. However, with the kind of world they find themselves in, even the tyrant doesn't seem to be acting too agressively. Thus they decide to take their time more leisurely as well. A girl approaches them one day, and begins hanging out with (Y), and as the two grow closer (Y) has yet to find out her real identity- the tyrant herself.
*Description: A hydra who can take (a) human form(s), currently attending a highschool for supernatural creatures. Each of his heads has its own personality and its own version of his transfer ability. Unknownst to him, he is also bound to a fate set long ago by one of his ancestors...
Recommended Plot: (Y) is sent to a school for supernatural creatures. Fascinated by many kinds there are, (Y) decides to join the magical research club, currently headed by one Henry Applethief.

They themselves come from a civilization which suffered the later fate, and are thus equipped with extremely advanced magitech advancements, and even their body is augmented. Their greatest strength, however, is the Chronicler spear itself, which allows them to unleash the things recorded by it.
- Ryuda Kyuketsuki
Power Level: Variable/10
Brief Description: A mercenary equipped with the passing of the shapeshifter and a natural draining ability, allowing him to suck out, copy and eventually absorb the powers and even bodies of his foes. The more enemies he defeats, the more powerful he will grow.
- Katsumi Prize
Power Level: 5/10
Brief Description: Put together for the express purpose of beating a certain superhero, Katsumi's android body and variety of skills and abilities certainly makes her a powerful opponent. However, what she has in raw power, she lacks in the intelligence to use it properly.
- Sukerono Ken Justicia
Power Level: 3/10
Brief Description: A combatant meant for a more mundane stage, but she is no less serious for it, being an expert in swordmanship and possessing an ability which while complicated to trigger does have a fair amount of variety.
- LD4AHU206
Power Level: 100/10
Brief Description: An extremely potent being created for the purpose of being a "villain" that "defeats the protagonist / hero" by a machine that could bring fiction to life. It is equipped with every tool to defeat his opponent's greatest strengths, but it likes to make drawn-out overcomplicated plans rather than being straightforward in how it deals with opponents.
- Puella Ludum
Power Level: 6.5/10
Brief Description: A girl born with an ability that causes her body to behave as though it was from an RPG. While this does give some advantages naturally, it is over time as one accumulates classes and levels that the ability really shines. Currently, while she is certainly a strong combatant, her abilities are still relatively straightforward. She is strong, but not top-tier.
- Kenshin Kanata
Power Level: 4/10
Brief Description: Kenshin is able to manifest a mecha of sorts around himself, bearing several abilities related to time, as well as being a mechanical body. While this would make him quite powerful, the backlash of his abilities is great beyond turning into said mecha.
- Ita Aeternum
Power Level: 5/10
Brief Description: Ita's a strange case where combat ability in these matches does not match her real power. She is a werewolf that took the position as the avatar of a wandering god, but her true abilities are in great feats of creating beings and weapons, moving between worlds and bestowing power, etc.. Mostly things which would show limited application in such a match. However, provided she is in her home field she does have domain over Mount Anchor, and she does have a number of servants at her disposal.
Putting on a Mask Before Exploring New Lands
In this final section I am adding to my interest check, I will be introducing some settings, as well as one or two suggestions for a different kind of roleplay we could make, outside of the standard narrative format of an RP.
Regarding settings, if we use one of my settings I would like to discuss the plot at that time (unless we're using it because of some other part of the interest check). I don't expect people to come with plots for this one like I would with fandoms or pairings.
Settings
Euphorium
(★★★★☆☆☆)
Genres: Fantasy (Pseudo-Medieval; Urban); Western; Isekai; (Not all always present ; Among Others)
Description: The world of Euphorium is one in which free will is a property of matter, dictating among other things the existence of life, a sentience, a drive, and when applied properly, magic. Originally put together from a collection of loose ideas turned into a cohesive world, Euphorium has several ages one could explore, from the early days of tribal survival to the oblivion wars over the various type of magic, to modernized ages in which monsters have gone extinct.
The Waken Isles
(★★★★★★☆)
Genres: Dice, Pseudo-Medieval Fantasy, Adventure
Description: This is a setting I'm developing for D&D campaigns, so ideally it would be played using one of those systems, however I can also accept not using them for the sake of developing the setting.
(COMING SOON)
(★★★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆)
Genres: VRMMORPG
Description: Created by Inukamitech, this is a new VRMMORPG. It's not the first nor the greatest, but the great innovations by Inukamitech in long-term-VR-gaming technology have drawn the attention of gamers, governments and researchers to name a few. (setting currently still in development, and as soon as there enough to test I will edit this entry)
Misc Ideas
Alternative Ideas
There is only one for now, but I will edit in other random ideas I have for different and potential fun modes of roleplay:
(★★★☆☆☆☆) Blog Roleplay: In this roleplay, rather than the characters interacting in a narrative sense, the roleplay posts would consist of blog entries. The characters see one another's blog entries and can reply to them, but overall the characters don't directly interact with each other unless they arrange a meet-up.
=> (M) / (Y) / (T): Mine, you or a third person's character. If it's, for instance (M2), this means "my second character".
(★★★★★★☆) : I love this idea so much, but I still feel as though there is a layer above it that needs to be aknowledged.

Nonetheless, most of them now live within the sakura tree of protection, a magical city within a barrier with a magical tree at the center. Here they live, train, and sometimes, die.

As tensions rise, she snaps and runs form home in search of the dragon of her dreams. She finds nothing at first, but against all odds, during an expedition she volunteered for because she needed money, she ends up finding a dragon egg just like those of fairy tales, which to (Y)'s surprise takes a human form upon hatching, (M).

In the Skillcrafter game, players hunted down the invading machine hordes of the Mechalord, and within them would find what was known as skillcores, pieces of skills which could be combined to create new skills for their characters to use. (Y), an avid player of this game, one day simply finds themselves within a massive room full of mechanical pieces, and quickly discover they reincarnated into the game's world as the Mechalord, though using their character's avatar. Already perceived as the monstrous invader, their only way to even survive seems to be to go at least hold the line of the invasion and defeat the would-be-players as the Mechalord. After some testing, (Y) discovers a couple things not revealed in the game: First, the mechalord was attempting to establish a kingdom for his shunned subjects. Second, the Mechalord can attain skills from gathered resources, which was what he used to create his machines.
Noticing the Mechalord's strange behavior, another player that reincarnated as a final boss, (M), reaches out to them and proposes an alliance.

However, they accidentally from a cliff that was hidden deep in the woods and with a leg broken are unable to move, they fear they'll simply remain there until they starve. There however, they are saved by an immortal sorceress (M), who as it turns out owes a debt to (Y)'s family, and offers to train (Y) so that they might surpass all of their peers and fulfill their family's duty.
Alternative: We could instead focus the RP on the aftermath of (Y)'s training.

(Y) has incredible power in their hands. They are a hardened fighter, filled with a life of battle and regrets. In order words, the epitomy of an loner badass. It was one of those regrets that brought them to cityname, a town that they once accidentally destroyed as collateral damage, but is now starting to be rebuilt, and (Y) wants to assist those efforts as a way of perhaps attoning for their past crimes. It is at this point that find a little girl walking around the ruins and construction sites, but nobody seems to notice her. (Y) walks up to her, discovering she doesn't seem to be aware that the city was destroyed. It takes until he visits the cemitery that night to find out the truth: The girl's name, (M), is marked as one of the dead. (Y) brings (M) over to the place, and she recovers her memories.
(Y) is even more determined now to help the town rebuild, so they and (M) begin developing a closer bond as they spend time together in the ruined town, with (Y) trying to make it up to (M) for her untimely death, and (M) in return trying to restore some of (Y)'s happiness as well.
Alternatively, we could have (Y) be a loner with dark powers who ends up hearing rumors of someone with similar powers to their own...but come to find the person with those powers is but a little girl, (M), who can't control them.

(Y) is a survivor of an ongoing war, simply trying to make it another day every day. It's not easy, as even where there are no longer combatants the destructive magics have seeped into the land, corrupting it. Very little life even lasts within it, be it a plant or an animal. One day, however, a robotic being crashes near (Y)'s place, and announces they will be the key, the one to lead the group that will finally end the war. When (Y) questions how that is even possible, (M) reveals their memory files have actually been damaged during the crash, so they don't remember much.

The setting would either be a custom one or we'd use the Amonkhet setting.
Description: A young guardian of the underworld, boasting of not one, not two, but three different heads with their own personalities, that's right, she's a cerberus.
Description: The inheritor of an ancient weapon, the Chronicler Spear, which bestows a title and duty upon its wielder.
Description: The heir to the passing of the Shapeshifter, the remaining power of a legendary shapeshifter, a battle-loving mercenary who continually desires more power absorbed by his passing.
Description: A genetically modified part-dog cannibal with more than a few screws loose.
Recommended Plot: Its not everyday Shiiro is tasked with a rescue mission. Its not everyday (Y) needs help getting out of a kidnapping.
Lawneck
Description: A magical girl whose wish to have another chance to be by her sister's side resulted in a child's body.
Ambrosia Dynas Greatfield
- Special Type: Fandom
- Source: Fire Emblem
- Other Requirements: Note that I am not actually very familiar with this fandom, I may need my hand held a bit with it.
(★★☆☆☆☆☆)
Description: The wolfskin retainer for a princess, hired for her courage on the battlefield even while pregnant. She balances her duties as a retainer with those of motherhood.
Recommended Plot: (Don't have one for this character)
Description: A silver-winged storm dragon, at various points in their life.
Youth
Description: Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but certain the sharpest shed in the...uh... well, she's a super villain alright.
Description: A former child actress who left that world behind and became a stern sportsgirl, but was discovered by a messenger and became a kampfer.
Recommended Plot: One day, (Y) and Alice are suddenly forced to team up as Kampfers, when it is discovered their bracelet devices have errors in them. While a possible threat, the two Kampfers are given a chance to not simply be exterminated, by instead assisting the plan as a separate team.

Christina Simul Yuno Infabellis Whisperfell
Regina Lucia
Description: A ghoul that passes herself as an investigator, picking them off as well as fellow ghouls, as she gathers a collection of quinques and grows her kakuja.
Description: A mute wire or spear wielder meister, able to use some magic due to a wish made to a monkey's paw.
Recommended Plot: Muon and (Y) are partners in the DWMA academy.

Description: A genius hacker who grew a massive obsession with her brother after being used and rejected time after time in the already extremely harsh "real world" from the setting.
Recommended Plot: (Y) and Kamenyo one day become trapped in the New World, the real version of Yggdrasil. Finding themselves to be impossibly stronger than the local residents, they end up seeing little reason to hide their true power. The question of course remains: What will they do with it?
Description: An insectoid who owns a general goods shop in Euphorium, where he sells a number of magical good made from the body parts he scavenged and alchemy.
Description: A true gentleman, owner of a bar alongside Vivian, a banshee he summoned using his powers as a necromancer.
Description: A student and scavenger from a colony on a planet taken over by glitched AI that considers all the inhabitants as prisoners, and their city colonies as prison sells.
Description: Himitsu was a wealthy supernatural investigator, when his arch-nemesis escaped confinement.
Description: A werewolf girl who took on the mantle of the tyrant and currently guards the mystical Mount Anchor.
Description: A hydra who can take (a) human form(s), currently attending a highschool for supernatural creatures.
- The Chronicler
- Ryuda Kyuketsuki
- Katsumi Prize
- Sukerono Ken Justicia
- LD4AHU206
- Puella Ludum
- Kenshin Kanata
- Ita Aeternum
- The Chronicler
Power Level: 9.5/10
Brief Description: The Chronicler records civilizations and destroys them before they can destroy themselves and their whole universe.
You are of course welcome to, nay, DO bring your thoughts, ideas, tweaks and twists! I'd love to hear what you think and what you'd like to do! So if I didn't scare you off and you are interested in working with me, post here or send me a PM! I am unfortunately not allowed to post my discord here, but PM yours and I'll send a friend invite as soon as I can!
If and when you do contact me, I would like to ask you all to leave a little introduction about yourselves and tell me what in my interest check caught your interest! Knowing more about you will do more than just break the ice, it will give me insight into how we can make this a better RP for both of our tastes and cravings, as well as potentially help me assess our compatibility sooner.
If you have any questions or just wanna throw in a little praise to feed my ego, feel free to post below or contact me through any of the aforementioned means.
See you around and thank you for reading!
