Approval!Hero name: Brute
Civilian identity: Russel J. Watson
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Eye color: Sky Blue
Hair color: Blond
Powers: Monster Physiology - Russell has the ability to turn into a large green-skinned monster at his will.
- Superhuman Strength: Russell's strength is greater than the average man, with the ability to support falling buildings, throw tanks with ease, etc. [CANNOT BE USED OUTSIDE OF MONSTER FORM]
- Superhuman Resilience/Durability: Russell's skin is heavily reinforced when in the monster form, allowing him to withstand damage from excessive amounts of heat, concussive blasts as well as falls from great heights. He is bullet proof as well as invulnerable to sharp-bladed weapon attacks. [CANNOT BE USED OUTSIDE OF MONSTER FORM]
- Enhanced Lung Capacity: Russell is able to go prolonged times without air, with a max duration of about 15-20 minutes, varying with use of adrenaline or fatigue. [CAN BE USED OUTSIDE OF MONSTER FORM]
- Superhumanly Acute Senses: Russell possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. He can see at far greater distances, with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of clarity even in near total darkness and complete darkness. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing him to detect sounds ordinary humans couldn't hear at a greater distance, enough to hear a teardrop in another room that has thick walls with enough focus. He is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if they are well hidden. He could track a target by scent, even if the scent has been greatly eroded by time and weather factors, with an extraordinary degree of success. Russell could also use his keen sense of smell to detect lies due to chemical changes within a person's scent. [CAN BE USED OUTSIDE OF MONSTER FORM]
Weaknesses:
Skills and abilities (this anyone can learn without powers):
- Russell often goes into berserk mode when in use of his powers as a cause of him being so new to them. This means he is unable to control himself as he goes into a fury.
- When in the monster form, Russell is unable to swim or balance on fragile objects (glass floors, etc.) as a cause of his massively increased strength levels.
- His superhumanly acute senses can be used against him with bright lights, loud noises, strong scents, etc. These are all things that can send him off.
- He is a trained engineer, and has gone beyond to start building vehicles of his own. He can also fix things.
- He's a great bartender, and knows what beverages will stun or cause a person to get drunk at a quicker rate.
- Russell has an above average close quarters fighting rating, and can easily hold his own
Weapons: N/A
Equipment:
Other items: N/A
- Russ carries a temporary antidote to forcibly turn himself back into his human form at all times. Just in case he goes berserk.
Hero Appearance (a picture is fine if that's your thing):
Civilian appearance (or a picture if that's your thing):
Personality:
Russell gives off a very immature image of himself, a huge jokester and prankster, even in the worst of times. He's constantly trying to catch a laugh and give other people laughs, a friendly, bubbly person to be around. He expresses himself greatly in the movies he watches, music he listens to, celebrity crushes, etc. and is not afraid of publicly admitting his faults or strengths. He's very ambitious, and will do whatever it takes to fulfill a goal. This determination is definitely something that has kept him alive all this while in the super hero business. In spite of his demeanor, Russell is trustworthy and a very loyal friend, willing to sacrifice himself for the safety of his friends and family.
Russell will sometimes lapse into a “berserker rage” while in close combat. In this state he lashes out with the intensity and aggression of an enraged animal and is even more resistant to psionic attacks. Though he loathes it, he acknowledges that it has saved his life many times.
History:
Russ was born to a loving couple in the middle class of the US. He enjoyed his early life, filled with constant activity and moving for the young man. Throughout his life though, something was odd about about Russ. He often fell ill, though whenever he did, his skin turned a ripe green, with it also hardening into a rock like material. Not that he was in pain, he just looked... different. His parents would admit him to a hospital where he would not be able to get a proper diagnosis due to the layer of hardened skin blocking the injections, monitors, etc. from actually working on his skin. In these times, his parents would hide him at home, hoping not to spread word of their son's illness.
His middle-late life was where it mainly settled down, with the skin-changes lessening to about seven times a year. As he continued growing, he'd finally gotten used to life without the "illness" before it sprung up once more, this time he was nineteen years of age and living on his own. Distraught, Russell easily fell into the berserker mode and destroyed the surrounding buildings of his apartment. He'd soon change back in an alley, where he police took him in as a victim, not knowing he was responsible. With the years though, he grew curious about his powers, and forced himself to control it once he transformed, and would soon enough be able to do so. Now he hopes to clear his name and use his abilities for the greater good.
First: the answer to your question is that it's called Centurion City. Second: there's going to be at least two additions to the character sheet before I post the CS.Hero name: Galaxy Boy
civilian identity: Matt Varem
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Eye color: Light Blue
Hair color: Black

Weaknesses: Electricity affects him negatively and under his force fields, which shatter after a few hits, he is just mortal. Also, water makes his beams and discs less powerful.
Skills and abilities (this anyone can learn without powers): Has advanced MMA training, has been to a few military boot camps, great endurance.
Weapons: Matt Carries a nightstick and a beretta M9, though he tries not to use his gun.
Equipment: Not much, pretty much carries himself and his weapons.
Other items: none
Hero Appearance (a picture is fine if that's your thing):
Civilian appearance (or a picture if that's your thing):
Personality: Matt is generally a kind and friendly guy, though he can be serious at times. He is loyal and generous, as well as being empathetic. Of course, he has his flaws, as everyone does. He is stubborn, but more in the way of a willow tree. Matt sticks to his ideals strongly, but if he has to, he’ll bend them. He is also introverted. While this is not a flaw in itself, he does have trouble making new and lots friends, instead opting for a small, tight knit group. He always tries to step up and be a leader, but because he is younger than most heroes he is not always taken seriously.
History: Matt is not human, not entirely at least. His mother came from a far off planet, giving him his powers. His father did not know about his mother’s true identity until long after she died during childbirth. Matt lived in a small town in Oklahoma with his father for his first several years, until his father crashed the car with Matt in it. Matt’s father died and the young boy was put into the foster program for three years until finding a home in Austin, Texas. His new parents lived in a large home and were very kind to Matt, and did their best to repair the damage from the loss of his father, as well as teach him good morals and ideals. It wasn’t until two years later, when Matt’s Powers first came in. It started with him floating off the ground for nearly a day, nearly giving his adoptive parents heart attacks, and ended with him shooting beams of energy and burning a tree down. The small family had no idea what to do until the next day, when a strange visitor came to visit the. Apparently Matt was half Zor’Dok, an powerful alien race. The visitor was one of these aliens, and told Matt he had sensed his fledgling powers and had come to help. The alien trained Matt for several months befor teaching him how to teach himself. Years passed, and the boy decided to go out and make a name for himself, as Galaxy Boy! He started out handling small crimes in his current city of residence, but after his mother getting a new job and relocating the family, he started anew, this time in the city of ___. (I don’t know if there is a name for it yet.)
