History - Present: It's been hundreds of years since humans have moved on from Earth, and as a result, it has been hundreds of years since humans have come into contact with alien life. After the loads of news and scientific information collected, humans calmed to the idea of having aliens in their home, and living on alien planets. One such alien planet was the destination for millions of humans: Catweh. Humans and aliens lived in peace for at least three centuries, until one alien ruler, 'Ahscha', began siphoning resources from the people, including money, food, and drink. He imposed high taxes to try and pay off multiple debts (expected to be personal). The people of Catweh have been stirring in recent years due to the laws, however nothing drastic has happened, yet.

Species:
Typical Alien: No official name has been given to them, because the species itself has a name that a human can never pronounce and they find it disrespectful to be called anything else. However, quite a few humans have taken to calling them 'Lums' because of their luminescence.

Technology: Blaster guns, or laser guns, are the newest and most advanced form of firearm that is available. Melee weapons have had a technological breakthrough in that a blade can now vibrate at such an extreme rate that the cutting ability is increased to the point where a sword can easily cut through iron. Cybernetic technology has also had a breakthrough, giving some humans increased senses and physical abilities. Flyable, space-ready ships are rare and only used by the government.
Rules:
1. No godmodding.
2. Be active, please. At least one post per every three days, preferably more.
3. Let everyone else post before you post again, make sure everyone has a chance.
4. There will be 5 spots available, excluding me. Once those spots are taken up, I cannot accept anyone else, sorry.
5. Fade to black if necessary.
6. Put 'Liberty and Equality' in the other section if you have read the rules.
7. In terms of character creation, either the alien race or the human race is fine.
8. Be respectful to each other, arguing and fighting in character is fine, but don't take it to OOC chat.
9. Message me if you have any questions.
10. Violence will happen, limbs may be lost, characters may be killed, so be wary of that.
