Chisuke had been in his office when he got the emergency alert. He watched the scene unfold, followed by the announcement. The stranger knew exactly who was behind the camera, despite not showing their face. "So, he's finally moving his plan into motion," he sighed to himself as he stood up, "then there's no time to waste." Chisuke left, heading to the gym. The new generation of heroes needed to be trained, they needed to be ready.

Chisuke arrived at the gym, no longer in his gear, and waited for everyone to arrive. At that point, he began speaking.

TheAmbiguousStoryteller TheAmbiguousStoryteller
"Umiko, your strength is an asset. I dare say it's what helped you and your classmates succeed today. But you need to improve your stamina. You pass out in the field, fighting a villain, they will not hesitate to take advantage of that. You will die."

pixi.stix pixi.stix
"Dexter you're fast, use that. Train yourself to strike at weak points quickly. I'll also warm you now, don't focus on using your horns. They could be effective, but relying on them too much will hinder you in a situation where you fight a villain that will counter."

Pumpkid Pumpkid
"Lupe, your copies made it difficult for me to focus during the fight. They will make it difficult for villains to during a fight too, but only if you have focus. When I hit them with my bo staff, they immediately started arguing. That happens during a fight with a villain? You will die."

"Nathan, your silk made for a good containment field. It kept me in one area and limited manuevabilty, use this. But, you will also need to train it to be used in more combat scenarios. Train yourself to trip enemies during a fight, for example."

Megilagor Megilagor
"Your fighting was effective, but needs more training. You need to learn more, train harder and learn how to take full advantage of the enemy."

FolKinPunk FolKinPunk blankcanvas blankcanvas
"I haven't had the pleasure of seeing you in combat yet, but when I do I will give feedback as well."

Chicken then moved to a table that had been set up with several black vests. The keen eyed would see them as kevlar. "As of now, training starts," he announced, "first lesson. Pain tolerance. Fighting a villain will involve pain, especially for those without strong quirks. So, we train ourselves to resist pain. Get used to it, so in the field we can ignore it and keep fighting. With that being said, everyone put on a vest. You're going to learn what it's like to get shot."

After carrying Umiko to the classroom way back, Liam went to get his bag and patch himself up, he spent a while doing so.
But when he got a message about that villain he rushed to the gym.
"Aye boss will do but with the latter part I might need some help." He replied to Chisuke in a joking manner.
But as Chisuke explained what the training would be Liam said.
"You do know that my quirk makes me unable to feel pain at all times, sir."
But still put the kevlar vest on since not feeling pain didn't mean he wouldn't get hurt.

Dexter shrugged, "Didn't plan on using my horns. I prefer speed." They replied, taking the vest. They were nervous, as this didn't seem entirely safe to them. Yet, they would not argue with the teacher. So they put it on, and it was slightly too big. They had a soft, nervous smile seeing it sag ever so slightly. Their ear twitched, as they looked around at everyone else. Their sharp hooves slid back into a stance that suggested they would dash backward, but they just stood there in a relaxed stance with their hands in the pockets of their baggy cargo shorts. The sleeves of the pale forest green sweater fell over their slim arms, while they slouched slightly.

They were not going to be prepared for the feeling of getting shot, and they knew it. Behind the long, fluffy white bangs there were nervous, pale sunshine eyes with a spark of excitement. They watched Chisuke's movements, while waiting patiently for instructions. Their pose was the same, and they seemed to melt into the background as everyone got their vests and waited. Their nose twitched, and they switched to a more relaxed pose. The time seemed to slow down for Dexter, with every second dragging on. They just couldn't wait for this to be over, and to move on. As they assumed being shot wasn't pleasant. Nor did they want to have to go through with this.

Arisa

"You're going to learn what it's like to get shot."

The blonde-haired female stared stupendously at the instructor after hearing the words come out from his mouth. He was kidding, right? Pain tolerance? Let these people shoot them? Even if they tried to give some sort of reasoning for doing this activity, there was absolutely no way this was logical at all.

She blinked, took a good look at her mistress and then shook her head.

The reasoning behind coming to such a low-grade university was still beyond her comprehension, however, since the two of them were here, they might as well get this finished. Besides, the assistant knew that if she got shot then the medical team would patch her back to health. But, god forbid, they managed to shoot the heiress, then well...she had no idea what sort of consequences the shooter would face.

Letting out a small sigh, she took one of the vest and made sure to equip it. It was heavier then she had first anticipated.

"I'll be taking this for her, no need for my mistress to get involved in something as messy as 'pain tolerance'"

As students began putting on their vests, Chisuke got the gun prepared. It was filled with low calibre rounds that weren't at any risk of causing any serious injury, as long as the vest was worn: though they would leave a nasty bruise. But that was a part of the hero game, especially for these guys. If they were going into this assuming they wouldn't be injured, they were critically mistaken.

pixi.stix pixi.stix Megilagor Megilagor
Looking back at the two students, Chisuke replied to Liam's comments. "You are right, which is why you need to concentrate even harder. You need to practise identifying what pain feels like. If you don't, then you'll find yourself suddenly dying mid fight because a broken rib punctured a ling without realising it," Chisuke explained, "besides, the bullet will knock some wind out of you. You'll need practise dealing with that feeling too."

When Chisuke saw Arisa put on the vest, followed by an explanation that she would be doing this for Cero, Chinese put down the gun. He then walk up, past Arisa, and stood in front of Cero. Then with a calm but firm tone he asked, "why are you here?" He didn't bother waiting for a response. "Because it was my understanding that you wanted to be a hero, wanted to help people. Well, that won't happen without training and that training is going to be far from the luxury lifestyle your used to. If your assistant is just going to do all the training for you, then she can be the future hero I put my focus towards and you can leave. But if you're serious about this and are ready to stop living like the world revolves around you, then put on a vest."

"I don't know if I experienced having wind knocked out of me, but I for sure puked my guts out a few times during my personal training. So do your worst Teach."
Liam technically replied to Chisuke but the last sentence wasn't as much of a joke as a way to thin the atmosphere and make people relax a bit.
Liam then went to Dexter and patted his head, but quickly took his hand away
"Sorry, meant to do that earlier but I kinda forgot, nice work before on the exam, kiddo. If you need anything do tell me..... Ok, I will need a favor from you when we end the training. I didn't go on the little tour around the place so I don't know where the dorms are so could you show me later? "
Whispered Liam to Dexter with a smiling grin. He then walked away from Dexter and returned to where he stood before.
There Liam made sure the vest was worn properly, he braced himself and said "And let the aim stay true as a hero should."

Kaito Nagawa

Kaito hesitantly stepped forward. He figured they’d help him learning fighting, not learning what it felt like to get shot. It was day one, wasn’t school like. Four years long? If day one was getting shot, what was the rest of his days going to look like? He picked up a vest and slowly put it on. So much for dressing nice for his first day, should he have changed back at the dorms?

He looked back and forth between his peers, they didn’t get a chance to change. He was going to get shot while wearing shoes? He walked to the gym doors and took his shoes off, placing them by the door. He eyed his teacher, wondering if they would say anything. He shuffled back to the rest of the students, much easier with spread out toes. He tried to not be insecure of the “plat plat”s his feet made, echoing through the gym. It was bad enough looking so weird, he had to sound weird all the time.

As his teacher picked up the gun and started loading it, Kaito paled. He was really going to get shot, wasn’t he? He held onto the heavy vest and tightened it. It fit snug and he tried to relax and breathe deeply. Was it hard to breathe because the vest was heavy, or because he was about to get shot? He tried to stay calm as the teacher scolded Cero, his heart hammering in his chest. Yeesh… Was Kaito ready to become a hero? Eyeing the gun from afar, was it too late to go back home? Too late to be the “worlds greatest life-guard” instead of “worlds greatest hero”?

Come to think of it… He could always move to a large city and be a high class life guard. Whatever that could mean. Would that ever be sustainable? He was only one man, but he could swim extraordinarily. He could work on some large police team, part of a search and rescue team. He would be the best on the team, working in rivers/lakes or the ocean. Anything but standing here being threatened to get shot on his first day...

Arisa

"...but if you're serious about this and are ready to stop living like the world revolves around you, then put on a vest."

The blonde waited with abated breath to see if her mistress would respond in any sort of manner. However, the snow-haired woman merely held her dignified stance, sitting in a seiza-like position while upholding her quiet, rigid stance. Seeing as how she was out of any immediate danger, Arisa let out the breath that she was holding before shoving herself in between the speaker and the heiress.

"Look here!" Arisa shouted, her temper quickly flaring. "Don't you dare ignore me! I was right here the whole time! I was the one speaking to you, not Cero-sama, got it?"

Clenching her fist in anger, she then shook her head and continued to speak. "You might be the teacher around here, but if I say I'm going to be the one doing something for her, then I'm taking her place for this exercise, got it?" At this point, her voice had risen to a shout. "I can already tell ya that if there's anything that my lady don't like, she'll tell me pretty quick!"

The assistant felt a hand on her shoulder, which instantly took the wind out of her.

"Look, I can assure you, I will be with her and serving her for the foreseeable future, so for anything that requires arduous labor, pain, or any of that sort, I shall take it for her, alright?"

  • Nathan Wolf
34d2351bbf40d8d6dc62ec714ae3c8ab.jpg Nathan shoved his phone in his pocket about to answer Dexter when Arisa called out to them to head over to the gym. While the video was disturbing, nothing they could do to stop the mystery person.

Once inside the gymnasium, they are greeted by Chisuke who once again seemed to have nothing to do, or at least how Nathan translated him. Surprisingly, the male did not hold back on giving the group their evaluation from the exam to which Nathan already knew what he had to do regarding his strength in his skills. He scoffed. "Well I didn't exactly show you my full potential, teach." He retorted.

Next, he puts on a bullet proof vest questionably of the lesson only to reveal to be a pain tolerance excercise starting with being shot. "Great, I always wanted to be shot." He said sarcastically listening intently to the rest of Chisuke's orders. His attention turned to Arisa and Cero who also seemed bothered by the assistant's constant involvement. Honestly, Nathan felt bad for Cero, for she had to deal with Arisa stepping in for every little thing or was it perhaps the girl had not voice of her own. Begrudgingly, the redhead speaks up looking at specifically Cero.

"Ya know it's pretty damn rude to be non responsive to Your teacher? They are trying to help those that are pretty useless or couldn't make it, but you're riding it out like it's high school. Maybe for once you should do something yourself and prove to not us but yourself that you are capable of doing something. You seem like a nice girl, so why not join us?" He spoke in a soft tone with a mixture of exhaustion. He offered her some words of encouragement wondering what the girl would do.

Dexter smiled up at Liam and nodded, "I can show you!" They replied. They stood around waiting, and snorted quietly, overhearing what Chisuke and Arisa were arguing about. "No need to baby her.. I'm sure she'll be just fine" Dexter muttered under their breath, looking at everyone standing around. This would be quite the experience for them, and they weren't sure how much they'd like it. But then again, is it supposed to be liked? Dexter shrugged slightly and stood up slightly taller. If they stood around waiting forever, they might go crazy. They walked over to Chisuke, and tugged on his arm slightly, "Excuse me, sorry to interrupt, but could you explain a little what this training will entitle?" They asked, in a softer tone, gesturing to the vest they were wearing, and the gun.

They couldn't help but be a little curious with it all. They looked up at Chisuke, with curiosity and caution filling their eyes, although you couldn't see it. They glanced over at Arisa and Cero, smiled at them, then turned back while waiting for Chisuke's answer. They thought Cero was nice, but that assistant was awfully over protective of her.

They flicked one ear, and put their hands back in their pockets of their shorts. 'Wonder why she's so uptight..' Dexter thought, glancing up at Arisa's tense facial expression. They had overheard practically everything that Arisa had shouted throughout the day. And she sounded rather rude. Cero seemed nice, however. She always stopped Arisa, and even though she was really quiet, she seemed nice. And they were around the same height, so they didn't have to look up. Which was a plus for Dexter.

Arisa

"Ya know it's pretty damn rude to be non responsive to Your teacher? They are trying to help those that are pretty useless or couldn't make it, but you're riding it out like it's high school. Maybe for once you should do something yourself and prove to not us but yourself that you are capable of doing something. You seem like a nice girl, so why not join us?"

The blonde assistant gritted her teeth in absolute frustration. All of these people were trying to speak directly to her mistress, as if she didn't matter or even exist! Were none of them taught even the most basics of etiquettes? It didn't even appear as though any of them had an ounce of manners in them. Seriously, she had just told the teacher of the class what the current situation was between herself and Cero. But judging from the body language of the rest of the class, she had doubts that her words managed to reach their brain.

It was that or they were all being willfully ignorant...or were they ignoring her? It could be possible that they knew of her situation and condition. She wouldn't put it past the Wolf heir to be able to use his family's resources and connections to dig up information on her. Still, she doubted that was the case, but either way, she didn't like any of the options that were presented to her.

Walking around to where Nathan was speaking, Arisa stood right in front of him before crossing her arms underneath her chest. She then blinked a few times while staring at him before finally telling him, "Mister Wolf, please mind your manners, while you might enjoy going around and acting like a low-class civilian, my lady is held to the upmost highest degree that she possibly could."

The helper took a deep breath and brought her hands to her temple area and rubbed them in a circular motion.

"Listen up!" Arisa shouted to the entire class. "I have been hired as her body, so basically, I will be with her until the day that I die. If anyone wants to get to her, villain or not, then they will have to get through me first." Taking a peek over to where her mistress was still sitting, she then continued, "If there ever is a day that she gets captured, or put into a compromised position, then I will probably be dead at that point."

Rubbing the back of her head, she sighed, "I hope that at least tells you guys to at least talk to me first before attempting to speak to my mistress."

After Arisa responded, Chisuke found himself at a loss of what to do. Arisa was stating that she'd do all of the tasks, that required any kind of labour, for Cero. All tasks of a hero required that. Hell, with that attitude Arisa might as well just be the one studying to be a.....wait a minute. Chisuke paused and looked to Cero for a moment. Was that her plan? Surely Cero knew that Arisa would have responded this way in the face of Cero being asked to work. Was that why Cero agreed to join, so that Arisa would do all the train? Was Cero trying to get Arisa to train for a life outside of servitude? Honestly, Chisuke didn't know. It sounded plausible, but maybe he was just pulling ideas out of his ass.

In either case, Chinese figured he'd go along with it. "Mrs Arisa, if that is how you feel then I will allow it. But, that comes with the expectation that you keep up with the other students here; in terms of physical training. If they're sparring, you're sparing. If they're training to endure pain, you're training to endure pain. If I decide it's appropriate to hold a lesson where you do nothing but push a boluder up a hill, then I expect you'll be doing just that. I hope that's clear enough for you."

Chisuke then moved back to the table and picked up the gun, ready to address Dexter's question. "Good question Dexter. In terms of this train my goal is...." Chisuke suddenly shot each of the students wearing a vest; right in the chest as he knew they'd have turned to face him and listen. The bullets would have hurt like hell, maybe even had enough force to knock some over. "What you are feeling now is pain. Pain enough that might incapacitate you briefly. What's also happening is adrenaline, rushing through your body. Too bad your body is currently hurting too much to care. Your goal is to fight through the pain, get up if you fell down, and use that adrenalin to run up and punch me as hard as you can."

They snorted, snickering softly as Chisuke addressed Arisa. 'This'll be a fun time' They thought, crossing their arms. They followed Chisuke a few steps, but when they saw him pick up the gun, they took a few back, uncrossing their arms. They were not very fond of guns. They were loud..

Dexter stumbled back, muttering something about holy hell, and that hurt. They did not expect it, at all. Their ears were ringing. They fell onto their butt, covering their ears. Dexter gritted their teeth, shaking their head. Too loud.. Yet, a smile begun to grow on their face, as this was slowly picking up pace. They didn't want to make a move yet, as they knew they were tired and their chest hurt. Attacking required getting up.. "Does it have to be a punch?" They asked, as their shoulders sagged. They put their hands on their knees, and sighed. The smile stuck though. They couldn't help it. They got up, and slowly stood up straight.

You could tell the energy was returning, as they begun to slowly walk, which turned into fast paced walking, but they stopped when they faced Chisuke, with a rather bold smile. "That hurt. A lot, actually. More than I anticipated. Your not going to shoot me again, are you?" Dexter asked, putting their hands on their hips. They tilted their head slightly, surveying the circumstance. Would this entail teamwork? Or just straight punching the teacher?

Lupe Suzuki
610f03bb8d47275a82fabc8c74f60340.jpg Whatever was going on between Chisuke and the group of students he was scolding was nothing compared to the mental strain daring to take over while paralyzed in fear. One second Lupe is taking deep breaths, the next thing she hears is the sound of a gun go off. In that moment, Lupe felt a sharp pain against her chest as though acphixiating her. Her whole body shakes before buckling to the the floor, clasping her chest tightly. Though it may seem dramatic, it would be even more crazy if a rookie did not react to the excruciating pain.

Her long hair masks her expression as she coughs for air, attempting to endure the pain as Chisuke further explains the primary lesson of pain tolerance. Curses escape her lips still processing the unexpected shot. What's worse is her darker persona is taking over, inserting themselves during a vulnerable situation. Lupe recalled what her mentor said moments ago about focusing her powers. "N-no...keep it together. I have to focus." She grunted trying desperately to ignore the pain yet like a devil over her shoulder, the darker side whispered sweet deceptions that constantly damages her confidence.

"He didn't give us warning. You seriously gonna take that from him? I sure as hell am not gonna stand for it! Besides, didn't he say it's part of the task?"

In an instant, Lupe's attempts became futile having a weak mindset for a decision. Raven Lupe steals the spotlight ignoring feeling. She rises to her feet and in a fit of rage lunges at Chisuke. "Damn you, prick! You think it's polite to shoot at a lady without a warning, you adorable man? Allow me to punish you with a dose of your own medicine!"

Putting the gun down, Chisuke looked to the first two students who were starting to recover. The very first to approach, that being Dexter, revieved answers from Chisuke; at least in relation to the questions that had been asked. "I suppose any form of strike will do, as long as you put your all into it," be nodded, not moving from his position. "And do not worry, I will no shoot again. The kevlar has lost its usefulness as a defence after the first shot. Any additional bullets now would kill."

Chisuke was about to add something else when Lupe suddenly lunged at him. The sudden aggression made him assume it was one of her personalities. In any case, he remained calm; though was caught off guard by the adorable comment. "It's not polite, no. But in the real world villains aren't polite. They won't give you warnings, and if expect otherwise then you'll die," he explained before smirking. "But perhaps I should get a taste myself." Chisuke grabbed the gun and put it in her hands, moving her aim so the head of the gun pressed against his left shoulder. "There, now....pull the trigger."

Lupe Suzuki
610f03bb8d47275a82fabc8c74f60340.jpg Lupe glared daggers at her instructor as he calmly explains himself, agreeing that his attempts were wrong and this a prime example of how a villain would not hesitate to fire. That wasn't enough to satisfy the irritated girl. He even went as far as to give her a sly smirk while offering an olive branch to settle the score. Dark Lupe refused even after positioning the gun to his shoulder after handing the weapon over.

Instead, she pulls the gun away still locking deadly eyes and headbutting him. She quickly recovers his collar with a death grip and aims the barrel beside his ear shooting the wall. "You think you can tell me what to do? Stop me from what I want to do? Wrong! I'll kick your ass however I see fit. Maybe I should shoot your leg so you can suffer twice as much." She cackles. She aims the gun straight at his thigh wearing a devilish grin. She stars a countdown from three but at the end of the countdown, Lupe blanks out reverting to her old self.

She blinks a couple of times before realizing she had a gun in hand aiming at Chisuke's leg. Her entire being grows pale and soon enough jerks back in a fit of panic. The gun drops to the floor as she flails her hands around rambling apologies. "Oh no! Holy crap, I am so sorry! Whatever I did was not my intention I am so sorry I lost full control of myself the pain was too much I am so so so sorry how could I do this again?" She holds her head and drops to the floor in fetal position in a comical way. "I'm garbage, absolute failure to try and attack an innocent person. I'm so sorry." Crocodile tears cascades her cheeks.

Arisa

When the blonde assistant had a bullet fire to her, the first place she looked was where her mistress was located before falling flat to her back. The woman blinked a few times and stared at the ceiling. Now, contrary to how she had previously reacted to everything else that had occurred, she did absolutely nothing this time.

Why?

The reasoning was simple enough. Not only was the person she was supposed to protect safe, but, getting shot at was nothing new to her. Throughout most of her life, she had the displeasure of having a weapon of some type become intimate with her body, with some of them being border-line lethal. So, having a bullet seemingly thrust at her direction didn't raise any red flags inside of her.

Of course, all of this was done within mere seconds of each other. Once Arisa had regained her bearings, and was snapped out of her shock and stupor, she slowly got up from her prone position and did a quick mental check on herself. She didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, except for a slight bruising on her tailbone and some dirt on her uniform. Looking over to where the heiress was still sitting, she let out a sigh of relief before getting up on her feet.

"Now, where is that teacher..."

Arisa didn't have to ponder this question too long as it was immediately answered by a nearby student. Apparently, the monochromatic female did not like getting shot and was now loudly berating the instructor. Anticipation began to swell inside her chest when she saw the teacher was about to get shot when the same-said student suddenly did a 180. The helper literally facepalmed when the events just came crashing down, resulting in nothing happening. Letting out a sigh, she shook her head before walking over to the teary-eyed female.

The blonde looked down at the pathetic sight of the crying girl and poked her a few times with her heels. "Oy! Monochrome, get back up, the teacher had what was coming, it's just too bad you didn't actually pull the trigger." Grinning, she then shrugged before offering Lupe a hand, "Still, have to give it to ya, didn't think anyone in this class had the balls to go that far with the teach over there."

When the bullet hit Liam he folded up a bit and got send down on his knees from the force of impact, but he felt no pain so he stood up.
He then heard the teacher tell all of us to go and punch him.
So he one step then another, and when he finally went to take a breath he realized he couldn't do it.
He then punched himself as hard as he could in the chest a few times while trying to take a breath, he finally succeeded on his third try, but at that point, his body was weak after him not registering the fact he couldn't breathe properly for a while.
Liam stood there for a bit trying to catch a proper deep breath, after a while, he started walking towards the teacher, and each of his steps was faster and dug deeper into the floor than the one before.
At some point, he essentially runs towards Chisuke and when he got close enough he tried tackling him while saying.
"Next time do warn me if I might not breathe properly ok? Since I might not realize and die."

Chicken waited, anticipating the impact of the bullet hitting his shoulder. They had a health official that could heal the wound, so that wasn't an issue. Plus the pain would be a mild bee sting, when compared to some of the stuff he'd experienced in the past. What he hasn't anticipated on, was the headbutt and gunshot combination. The headbutt was nothing, but the loud gunshot resulted in a grunt of pain. It was on of the few places that hadn't built up a strong pain immunity; most likely due to its sensitivity. But after that, he was finally ready for the bullet. Only it didn't come. Luke gained control and was now apologising.

Taking the gun from the floor, Chisuke looked to Lupe. "Your apology is appreciated, but not needed. After all, in this context, I am not innocent. I shot you. Besides, I would have survived being shot in the leg and if I were a villain it would be a good way to incapacitate me," Chisuke explained calmly, as if he hadn't just been threatened. "That being said, your actions should not be based on anger and pure emotion. Out in the field, you need to keep focus and a clear head. But, that's why you're here; to learn that focus."

Chicken then turned his attention to Arisa, "I fully agree with all you have just stated," he nodded before addressing everyone, "over these next four years of training I will not be taking things easy on you; I won't be holding back. I expect that you show me the same courtesy."

Chicken was about to say something else, but was caught off guard by the sudden tackle from Liam. Chicken chuckled lightly as he slowly got up from the floor, "I will keep that in mind for future training. But please note that, within these walls, should something like that happen to you or any student we have a small team that is on standbye; no ones dying here on my watch."

Dexter nodded, and practically took the vest and threw it. If no bullets would be fired, it would only slow them down. So they threw it and dashed after Liam. They were slightly slower though, as their chest still hurt from the bullet. They saw Chisuke fall, and while Chisuke was getting up and talking they attacked quietly went for the back of Chisuke's legs. But because they knew he'd be on alert more, they also attacked quickly so an opportunity to back up was presented as well.

"Man, my chest still hurts.." Dexter sighed, rubbing his ribcage. They had backed up, after hitting or not hitting, "At least none of us will die while we're here" They muttered, as their eyes followed Chisuke with unease.

After fighting Chisuke for more than once, they learned quickly to be alert. But with the pain it's kind of hard. Their vision would blur for a second, and the bruises were just painful. They made a tsk noise, and stood up straight as they could. "While I'm glad you won't take it easy on us, I feel as if one punch would knock me out" Dexter muttered under their breath, where only those standing really close to him would hear it.

  • Nathan Wolf
34d2351bbf40d8d6dc62ec714ae3c8ab.jpgNathan clicks his tongue at Arisa disregarding her lecture. Everyone seemed to agree about Cero being idle while the principal spoke to her gave him a negative impression. "Whatever." Nathan huffed realizing he wasn't there to make friends and putting in his two cents was clearly not going to make a difference. The last thing he wants is to be emotionally drained over something that had nothing to do with him. Yet in the back of his head, his grandfather's wisdom nagged him. Perhaps on different terms Cero could speak to him?

The sudden bang from the gun startled the male and before he knew it, everyone has taken a shot from Chisuke. Nathan peeps down his chest finding a faint rip from his vest. Clearly he was shot at but didn't quite process the pain until he noticed the mark. The redhead grunted and held his chest. He's skateboarded and been in plenty of accidents this building a pain tolerance, but his body still couldn't help but react to the sting of his chest. "Damn, if this is what a gunshot feels like, this is definitely something we should learn to endure." He thought.

Nathan eventually came to his senses and snapped his attention to Lupe lunging over at Chisuke expressing her aggression. Though surprising as it was that she had entered the man's space, it was even more astonishing that the principal himself agreed to be shot as an olive branch. "He's joking...right?" He gaped. Instead, Lupe does things her way causing the redhead to flinch. In the blink of an eye, Lupe is on the floor moping comically apologizing for her split personality. Nothing could be said except for a quirk of a brow. "Is this even a school or elementary?" He thought.

Kaito Nagawa, interacting with Chisuke

Kaito looked to his teacher to listen what they were going to explain- He was suddenly leaned back on his tail, looking up at the ceiling.

Ow.

What just happened? He grabbed his chest as he tried to breathe in. He couldn’t- there was metal there. He looked down, Oh. He was shot. They really were going to shoot them. They really did shoot them.

What was Chisuke saying? Stand up and hit them? That makes sense. They did just shoot him. He leaned forward to get off his tail, his ears ringing form the shot, his tail hurt, his ears hurt, his chest hurt. Why did he think this was a good idea? Why did they shoot him?

He’d been out of breath a lot of times. He just kept gasping and holding, swallowing down on the air he got until his diaphragm would get with the program and start working again. He could hold his breath for thirty minutes, though that’s getting a nice gulp of air before diving.

His arms aren’t very strong, already shaking as they hold him up. He felt anger towards Chisuke. If they were going to shoot him, he could attack back for sure. He pushes himself forward on shaky arms, his tail snapping down to help push him. He dashes the few steps towards Chisuke and ducks low, anchoring his hands on the ground best he can and shouts as he turns himself to throw his thick tail of muscle into Chisuke’s legs.

Once his tail swung around enough he used the momentum to keep spinning around and push himself back up to attempt to punch Chisuke, if he knocked them over he’d manage to punch him in the face if he was lucky, just chest if he was unlucky.

He attempted to hit twice, was that allowed? He felt the anger bubbling away and into worry. Why was he worried? Did he or did he not want to be a hero? Did he or did he not want to remain here? He already got shot… With a vest, at least.

Oh no, were they going to shoot without a vest sometime? They couldn’t… Right?

He backed up, arms up and close to his body, ready to defend if Chisuke rebutted. He stared at him, feeling any confidence he once had drain out of him. Was that the adrenaline leaving? He gasped and gulped in as much air as he could, but each breath burned more than the next. His chest hurt, his tail hurt, and he could feel stinging in his hand. His heart was slowing back down, but still in a panic rhythm. Adrenaline was a hell of a drug, he wished it wouldn’t go so fast.

Chisuke allowed the others to attack him, glad they were getting into the lesson. And after, he slowly got up. He had a smirk on his face, actually ready for more, but then his phone rang. Looking at it, and seeing the caller, he sighed. "Apologies, I must take this," Chisuke said to the students, "just train with the gear till I return." He then left the gym. Though right before he left students might pick up him saying, "I told you, I'm not interested."

Dexter sighed, stumbling a few feet then flopping to the ground, exhausted. They seemingly deflated, but their ear flicked to the door, nosy. They wanted to hear more, but knew that'd be rude. So while they rested slightly, they flicked their ears to hear what others were talking about. Eventually Dexter got up and walked over to Liam. "Whatcha think about it all?" They asked, curious.

They liked Liam. He was kind. So they wanted to know more. They're quite the curious type. They smiled up at Liam, fluffy bangs still somehow staying in front of their eyes.
