Name: Alexander Rookstone

Appearance: Usually found wearing a suit, formal attire hailing from his privileged upbringing.View attachment 865363

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Costume: Black fully armoured suit, meant to compensate for his lack of special abilities, full of technology and gadgetsView attachment 865364

Hero Name: Not yet decided upon
Personality: A protective, kind-hearted person who wants to be a hero to fulfil his ideals. He is hard-working due to his "quirkless" nature and has always been really dedicated. His recent bout with depression has led him to be a stronger man, but he constantly fights with that depression every single day, almost like he has something to prove to the school and his classmates.

Background: Growing up in a wealthy family, everything was laid before him for whatever he wanted to choose. Seeing the hero Eraser Head when he was younger, he was inspired by how someone with a relatively weak quirk was able to stand toe to toe amongst the greatest. When he was 4 years old, he thought he was quirkless and truthfully it might as well have been. He is hard-working and fiercely intelligent, and he simply thought that his commitment and dedication was what led to his dominance in fields like his academics and athleticism. It's only until he attempted to take the UA entrance exam and fell at last place, that he realized that there are barriers he couldn't overcome from sheer hard work alone. He fell into a deep depression, and even with his family's help, he was, for a long time, completely inert, but that changed when one day he received a letter, an invitation that promised him he could be a hero. With his parent's blessing, he set out for a new path, one that would put him on the path to being a hero. A path filled with the blood, sweat and tears of his own making, that will push him beyond his limits.

Quirk:
Homo Superior - His quirk means that he is stronger, faster, more durable and is smarter than the average person. Strong enough to break through steel-reinforced concrete walls with a punch and able to leap over trains, fast enough to outsprint a car and jab fast enough that if you blink you might miss it, and durable enough to have baseball bats break if swung at him, although the pain is still there. These physical improvements though are insignificant in a world filled with people who can destroy city block with air pressure from their punches, people who move and think as fast as a speedster and can harden their skin to exceed the strength of steel.
Even his intellect, boosted by his quirk, still pales in comparison to the other intellect-based quirks in the world of heroes. The best way to describe this quirk is "better than nothing", which in the world of heroes is essentially nothing.

Trivia: He wears a cravat because during pollen season, he sneezes a lot and it doubles as a discreet handkerchief.

Good character, but I would suggest changing the wording of your quirk. With the parts about punching through concrete and bats being broken over him, it still sounds like his quirk could beat the UA test.
I assume what you are going for is just fastest/strongest man alive (by irl standards)

Really? I mean technically speaking, that is the case.
Shaolin monks who have conditioned their bodies and fists can break concrete slabs that are pretty thick and withstand multiple bo strikes without much effect, being fast enough to jab in the blink of an eye is something that Muhammad Ali was famous for. You are right, essentially his quirk puts him in that "Peak human condition" threshold but is that truly enough for the UA test? XD

After all, while being able to punch through concrete is good and all, that doesn't really help when the robots are fully steel and unable to receive damage (Since it was the entrance test he was not allowed to bring equipment that didn't support his quirk directly, unlike Aoyama's belt)
Personally I thought of even a peak human being unable to clear UA's entrance exam, but if you don't think that's true then I'd change it nonetheless gladly! :)

Fair enough. As long as we're both under the understanding this it's peak human level powers and not superman level, then no changes are needed. I think it was just 'steel reinforced' concrete that had me worried

Ah yes of course XD No you see, steel-reinforced concrete is technically not that much stronger than you think if struck directly, I could get into the physics about it but I'll just remove it so it just says concrete :)

1616769100916.pngName: Iori Himawari
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Costume: No costume yet, wears street clothes
Hero Name: Sunflower
Personality: Forcibly bright and optimistic, tries to make everyone happier.
Background: Himawari's parents both have emotional quirks, her mom is able to tell when people are angry and her father makes people feel mildly happier when around him. Her parents had hoped that she'd have an emotion influencing quirk like her dad, but instead, on her fourth birthday she started crying from the disappointment her parents felt with her inability to make them feel a different emotion. Her parents had always wanted her to be a hero but when Himawari's quirk started becoming more of a problem than if she'd been quirkless, they soon gave up that idea. However, Himawari never did. Feeling the fears, doubts, panics, and frustrations of other people made her compassionate out of necessity. She does not experience emotion alone and relies on other people to make her feel normal. This makes her want to help people feel as best as they can. When she was 10 she got caught up in a villain attack and felt the hopelessness, fear, and pain of the victims as well as the grief of the families. Since then, her determination to become a hero has become almost single-minded. She can get easily overwhelmed in crowds with too many conflicting emotions.
Quirk: Hyperempathy; Himawari feels the emotions of everyone around her as her own, which is often distracting and makes it difficult for her to deal with emergencies. As a side effect, she does not feel any strong emotion alone.
Trivia: Her birthday is April 20th, she doesn't like listening to music or watching movies because she gets no emotional feedback from them, she tried to become a hero and then tried to join the hero support class but was denied both times.

Absolutely wonderful character ^_^
And a very interesting quirk

Name: Nagato Genta
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Costume: Black Suit and Tie
Hero Name: Hosuto (ホスト, "Host")

Appearance/Personality: Tall and looking mature for his age, with bright red hair and a face that makes it look like he's teed off over something for no obvious reason, Nagato's had to put up with being taken for some troublemaking delinquent more times than he's cared to count. The way he sits in class brooding and staring out a window doesn't help, even when it's down to him living by himself for the first time and worrying over housework instead of paying attention. Getting nervous around girls takes longer to explain. He's really just an average young man once others get to know him, with hopes and dreams like everyone, and a very good reason to join the Phoenix Academy.

Background: Nagato's dad, Ibuki, a police officer, was a man from a time long past. A time when women were put on pedestals. Listening to him go on about how he went about it when he thought he'd met the One, before he settled down with Nagato's mom, Fujiko, it left an impression on their little boy. One Nagato made up his mind to give his all for from the moment he showed up for his first day in school and saw all the cute girls, though he never got very good at it. Far from it.

Nagato was in high school when it happened for the first time. One day, he came to after apparently blacking out and saw he was all alone in the girls' changing room. Until a girl he liked walked in and started freaking out over Nagato trying to embarrass her, he had no idea how until he looked down. He was pretty steamed thinking someone was playing a prank at his expense. Then he started remembering things he couldn't imagine himself doing. It took a few more episodes to piece it together, to his horror.

The last straw was when he worked up the courage one last time and asked another girl to go out with him. And passed out from the shock when she agreed. She was still there when he awoke, leaning against him, asking if he remembered anything. Something did happen while he was out, she said, blushing, prodding Nagato gently over when she would get to see the other Nagato again.... He got to packing his bags right after he opened the letter from the Phoenix Academy a few days later.

Quirk: Be Mine

Faced with a stressful situation—anxiety, surprise, a fight—Nagato's quirk causes him to physically and mentally transform into a clone of any girl he's ever confessed to and turned him down. With her personality, skills, and key memories replacing Nagato's. The copy recalls all the times it's appeared in his place, with the original, no matter where she is, becoming aware of its actions. After some time, a few minutes to several hours, Nagato changes back to his normal self. The gap in his memory slowly fills in, his clothes taking longer to switch back.

Trivia:
  • Has an older sister, Saki, a TV journalist for a regional network affiliate.
  • Played center for his high school basketball team, though he was pretty mediocre.
  • Hung out with the misfits because everyone in his high school thought he was in a gang.
  • Waits in line for discounts at the neighborhood convenience stores after class.
  • Browses for ads and goes out interviewing for part-time jobs in the weekends.
  • Hates cute things.

Looks good, though I would maybe change the part about being able to use the quirk of the person

Name
: Akira

Gender: Nonbinary

Age: 20

Hero Name: N/A

Hero Costume: N/A

Personality: They are the very definition of being absolutely two faced, but not in any sort of malicious means. Just that they have made it a honed skill to not physically show how erratic, and hyperactive their inner thoughts are so that their quirk doesn’t accidentally go off. They’re honestly quite emotive, and energetic underneath all of the neutrality, and monotone expressions.

Background: They have honestly had a relatively okay childhood until their quirk manifested, because then they had to start restricting and carefully monitoring their speech to not affect people unwillingly. Every now, and again there would be a few accidents where they wouldn’t be able to keep themselves from speaking, and accidentally using their quirk rapid fire on their classmates. Still they tried to pass the U.A. entrance exam to be a hero like their parents, but found it impossible to do anything but run, and hide behind the students with better quirks.

Quirk: Silver Tongue
Akira’s quirk has given them the ability to influence the actions of someone else through commands, and anything that could be considered a “Command” is any word that has an action tied to it. However this effect can only happen when the individual is able to understand what Akira is saying. There can only be one command applied per person, and rapid uses of their quirk causes strain on their throat. They can only use about ten commands before their throat starts feeling uncomfortably dry, and if they strain it they start losing their voice after about five more times, and can risk causing short term damage to their vocal chords lessening the amount of words they’ll have available in the future.

Trivia:
They are not only the current nonhero in their family, but are also the shortest at 5’0(152.4 cm)

Lovely character, though quirk might potentially need work (as mentioned in the pm I sent) but for now accepted ^_^

Name: Akagawa Amane

Appearance: Amane has messy black hair, purple eyes, and a strong build. He always dresses in dark, covering clothes, regardless of the weather.

Gender: Male

Age: 19
NEEEERD.PNG
Costume: Other than being heavily padded for defense Amane's costume is almost entirely built for aesthetic before anything else. The coat is always worn over his shoulders more like a cape and his arm is kept bandaged for no particular reason.

Hero Name: Smog (Wanted "Lord of Ash")

Personality: Amane is about as head in the clouds as they come personality wise. Despite being what would technically be considered a full fledged adult he still suffers from Chuunibyou and shows no signs of recovering any time soon. While he often acts childish he's extremely hardworking when it comes to being a hero and is even rather intelligent, though only in booksmarts. He can often come off as inconsiderate due to missing obvious social cues but cares deeply for those around him. While he's very earnest about becoming a hero and all too willing to brag about the slightest of accomplishments he's all too aware of how weak he is and will likely underestimate himself in a fight before overestimating himself.

Background: Amane had the most traditional upbringing a kid can have with kind parents, good friends, and relatively few hardships in his life. This kind of life was acceptable for a brief while until he was on the scene when a hero was in action. From then on his ordinary life left a bad taste in his mouth and he sought out the life of action and danger of a hero. Unfortunately when his quirk manifested it was all but suited towards the life he wanted to lead. In spite of this Amane applied to UA High School when the time came and in fact got in, though only in the management department. It was the closest he could get to actually being in the action and for the time being he took it, unsatisfied as he was. Just as he'd graduated and was about to take a job managing one of his more successful classmates he got an invitation to the phoenix academy and threw away the stable path put before him without a doubt.

Quirk: Smokescreen- Amane can produce smoke from his body through very weak incomplete combustion of himself. It's generally not a very harmful process as he also supplements it with internal waste let out and burned through his pores. While it's a very difficult limit to reach overdoing it can leave him with minor burns and indigestion. To combat the breathing difficulties his quirk might give him he has extremely strong lungs that can filter out most harmful substances he breathes in.

Trivia: Amane loves manga and admires edgier heroes.

Would you consider removing the part about manipulating the smog? Other than that, great character

Name: Sonya Wilenheimer
Appearance: EED1EE92-33C6-4581-91CD-749E22B14242.jpeg
The picture above is just a reference. Due to Sonya’s Quirk, the area around her waist is quite bloated, and the appendages created by her quirk are a pale white and are lined with mismatched and rather shiny scales. They are 6 feet in length, and end in bulbous heads. They have no eyes, and are entirely blind.
Gender: F
Age: 18
Hero Name: TBD
Personality: Due to the nature of her quirk, Sonya tends to be rather disconnected from reality and dazed, though she tries her best to pay attention when she is able to. With the addition of the fact that she has been raised to hide her feelings and her attentions behind a mask, Sonya can be very hard to read at times. Sonya has always been distant, and often does not take the feelings of others into consideration when she acts/ Additionally, Sonya can be very impulsive and curious at times, despite her reserved and aloof exterior.
Background: Sonya was born in the lap of luxury, as was her father and mother and their parents alike. Being born to such a prestigious lineage, Sonya was put on a pedestal for the world around her. It went to her head very quickly and while she was a very intellegent child, she was also extremely haughty and obnoxious. She spent most of her time silently judhing those around her with clouded arrogance, all while enjoying luxuries other children of her age could only dream of.

She would live this life of arrogance and disillusionment for almost the entirety of her lives, the only real struggle she experienced was her emotionally distant parents. Her life took a full 180 when her quirk manifested. Not only was the process extremely painful, but the experience destroyed her body. Sonya was bed ridden for quite a while, and even after being well enough to move, she could only do so with the living flesh appendages attached to her waist, since her leg muscles were unable to support the already weak girl with the added weight her quirk provided. Addiotionally, she was diagnosed with many illnesses, most of which were incurable. The whole process sent Sonya down a spiral of sadness and self pity, during which her parents thought it right to send the distraught girl off to UA, though she was quickly denied entrance when she spectacularly failed the entrance exam since she was incapable of reliably controlling her own movement beyond uselessly ordering her appendages around.

Sonya’s parents still wanted to do something with the admittedly quite problematic child that was Somya, so it was quite the pleasant surprise when an invite
Quirk: Monster of Desire
Sonya’s quirk has manifested in the form of 3 fleshy, snake like appendages that are attached to Sonya at the waist. These appendages are about 6 inches wide, and about 6 feet wide. At the end of each appendage is a bulbous head with teeth filled mouths. Additionally, these bulbs lack eyes, though they do have holes for hearing. Sonya has absolutely no control over the actions of the appendages. Instead the appendages act on their own violition, each having the intellegance of a household dog.

The manifestation of this quirk caused major strain on Sonya's body. As a result, she is etremely fragile, very VERY sickly, and has been diagnosed with an extreme case of anemia. She is prone to fatigue and randomly falls in and out of consciousness.
Trivia: Sonya often carries around pet treats to refocus her appendages if they get distracted or overwhelmed. She also has a spray bottle to discipline any bad behaviour.

(Not my proudest sheet, but I had to just post it or it would never get done.)
