[Ishii Hiroki as Rōnin / Prithia Square - Kage -> Lily's Overgrown Cove Entrance/ Said He Was a Follower, But Is Kinda Acting Like A Leader...]
Hiroki leaned his head back in a moment of thought. "You're right. Svy's better," he typed after a moment, agreeing with Lazuli's suggestion. He wondered why he didn't think of it first, instead of Eli, but simply gave himself an 'eh' IRL before moving on.
"Alright. Svy and I'll be up front while you two hang back. And Faytes just does what he wants, as usual." He trusted Faytes to position himself properly, what with how long he'd been at this helping people out business. "Just make sure to pay attention to indicators, try to get rid of status effects as quick as you can, and target adds first. Blah blah, normal MMO things." Hiroki waved his hand in a dismissive manner, an action that he knew no one could see. "So...unless anyone has anything else to say. Let's get to it."
It wasn't long before they'd arrived at the entrance to the dungeon, Faytes and Rōnin having guided everyone to the right teleport gate and having the group ride their mounts the rest of the way. An upbeat and peaceful music began to play as they approached the dungeon.
An expansive dome made of impossibly long branches, gargantuan thorns, and beautiful red roses that looked as if they could house a small city of dwarves laid itself out in front of them. The entrance was insignificant in comparison; A gap, still reaching 20 feet, where the branches parted.
"Looks a little different since I was last here. Less leafy and green." Hiroki eyed some of the barren bark, recalling none from before. This place had just looked like a lush, ginormous, rose bush the last time he'd been. He also noticed that some of the greenery was turning black, as if it had been...
"The garden has been corrupted." A little voice rang out, the dialogue also coming through via the general text chat.
A small fairy with tear-stained cheeks floated over from behind one of the leaves. "Lily went in to stop it...but I haven't seen her in days. Please, please help us," she cried, face buried in her hands.
Hiroki raised his eyebrows as a quest screen popped up before him. "Huh...this is definitely new. But the rewards look pretty good. What say you guys? Wanna kill two birds with one stone? Do the quest and get the noobie his item?"
