Okay, so I have a WIP character sheet, but the one part I'm having a bit of trouble with is the Persona.

Maybe search one that has connection with your character's personality? Example, mine is Keres, spirits of violent deaths. They are connected with my character's backstory, and soon-to-be personality (after they open their "eyes" and join the group hopefully)

It's more that I'm trying to find one that goes with his personality and fits the "evil spirit" theme as well.

The way my character is set up, he will have the Sun Arcana and be a sort of tutor among the students of the school, in that he willingly helps others learn math and science, his two favorite subjects, while unfortunately running into a bump or two along the way. With that sort of combination, I had the potential idea for Prometheus, but he's not exactly evil, unless perhaps you look at him in the right light.

Hmmm....maybe something like Adam would be a good choice, due to your character's estrangement from his father? Or maybe even Seth, even if neither of them are necessarily evil. Or maybe even Cronus from Greek mythology, who overthrew his father Uranus? It even somewhat ties into the Sun, as Cronus is often associated with celestial bodies like his father, specifically Saturn.

Hmm...okay, maybe...Oedipus (I'll allow it since none of the Greek heroes were good, and many of them were cursed for their crimes,) and then Cronus for the Second Awakening?

Yay! Glad I could help! I nearly went insane trying to find mine, hehe. But I'm happy with Mephistopheles, and I'm really happy for Takeshi's Second Awakening, which is a secret.

Yeah, when it comes to Persona RP's, I can get a character together just fine, but it's typically the Persona where I wind up having trouble, specifically with finding one that matches and then visualizing it in just the right way.

Exactly! I eventually went with Mephistopheles, as Faust made a deal with him without thinking of the consequences, much like how Takeshi relies on intuition rather than logic, and it also represents his inheirent selfeshness when the story begin, much like Faust's selfishness. Also, Mephistopheles was going to be Joker's first Persona during the game's development, but it was changed to Arsene to fit with the thief theme.

Sorry to burst in, but I'm a little relieved I wasn't the only one having trouble finding a Persona, haha. I think I've settled on Arioch but even then you're still thinking what could be a good fit!

Yeah. The other thing, like I said, is coming up with a visualization for the Persona that coincides with the Thief Outfit or some sort of theme, which is what I'm doing right now since Rusty of Shackleford just gave me a nice leg up.

The outfit, of course, is the most important part! But yeah, finding something that matches up is a pain too. I don't know how the P5 team managed to do it. It's tiring stuff.

For the outfit, I decided on the old time suit and cape, to give him that 19th century doctor feel I normally associate with Faust. And it's weird, because I love history and mythology, yet I had such a hard time finding ideas!
