Maeve Valor
The Piratess Captain
Happy that Morgana didn't seem all that fazed by this new information about herself, Masami made the slightest smile at how accepting he was. As Masami escorted the girl back and was just about to meet back up with the others, was when she received a text from Sougo. After looking at her surroundings, at first she was going to respond by saying that everything was clear, but that quickly changed when a suspicious masked person bumped into Gomi in a strange way that she was very familiar with. "Did he just?..." As Masami wondered if the man just pick-pocketed Gomi, this was when she checked her person for her wallet only to find it missing and Morgana jumped out of her arms. "Shit, he did do it!" She cursed aloud as she was angry with herself that she didn't trust her initial instinct that he just used a typical method to steal from someone.
As Masami was one of the first to give chase, she eventually noticed the others also chasing after the individual. Not having the time to text Sougo back, she instead called as she weaved through the crowd of people with ease and was able to keep an eye on where he went thanks to Morgana following him when he immediately took a few turns into crowds to lose them. "Come on, pick up, pick up," Masami said to herself as she waited for him to answer which in reality didn't take that long at all, but with all the commotion that was going on it seemed to take a while more than she would have liked for him to receive the call. As she saw the man run into a warehouse, she notified him of that as well when he spoke. "Sougo-san, we found the thief. We're tailing him now. He's heading into the warehouse nearby so we'll try to cut him off there. Try to get here as soon as you can," she said as it was evident from how she was speaking that she was running at the time. She then promptly hung up so she could focus on cornering the person along with the others.
Once they were all at the warehouse, it was no surprise that Imato launched into a full attack. As she saw him do this, it was only then that Masami was reminded that this was the real world and none of them were as strong as they were in the Metaverse. All of a sudden now she didn't feel as confident confronting this person. Judging from his earlier display of fighting off the two student she gathered that she would have a hard time facing him as she is now, so when Shiro tried to compromise with the stranger, Masami supported this gesture. Although when she mentioned him needing to deal with the group if he didn't heed her warning, Masami assumed that he wouldn't be too intimidated considering he'd be up against one guy, a cat, and a bunch of young girls. Masami too tried to be diplomatic about it as she took a few steps forward. Maybe if she got close enough she could steal some of the stuff back for her friends. "Please don't let this be more trouble than it's probably worth. I don't think any of us here has enough to make it worth your while. My friend is right, if you agree then we won't stand in your way."
