Mao Mao-Tropic
Yang seemed deeply lost in thought, and Mao didn't blame her. By all accounts, he should have been, too. He, too, was in this situation of being stranded in another world, away from everyone he was comfortable with. Just how long would it take to find a way back? Would years pass on the outside, or mere hours?

"Is it just your kind that populates your world?"

Ah, now Yang was curious about him for a change. "I don't know a many other cats, outside of my family." He explained. "But there are plenty of other species. King Snugglemane is a lion, I know that one of the magic technicians is a chameleon, there's that Muffins mouse...And Pinky...I dunno what Pinky is. Oh, wait, I do! IRRITATING." He gripped his handlebars tightly, then relaxed. "All together, they call themselves 'Sweetypies'. Not the name I would've gone with."

COLONIUM - JUDGE DREDD: INFESTATION

8652c57fae73c8d6970d3eb2d4c85329.jpg

(IDW Judge Dredd by uncannyknack)

The battle continues! Judge Dredd's Armor-Piercing shot worked effectively against the Buzzer, killing it instantly. Hopefully, he isn't late into the party, now knowing that he can offer great assistance to the team with him right now.

"Yeah!"

Dredd cheers. But it's still too early for celebration. Judge Dredd saw the shots of Rex looking ineffective against the Buzzer's thick hide.

"Do you have any Armor-Piercing rounds in your arsenal, soldier? Use those instead! Otherwise, keep firing until you empty your rounds."

After giving the Trooper a suggestion, Judge Dredd noticed the married Bakers were arguing in the midst of battle. They look harmless and weak to Dredd. Should they even be here?

"ALL UNTRAINED PERSONNEL SHOULD STAND BACK!"

However, they wouldn't listen to Judge Dredd, so the Judge just completely dismisses them.

Judge Dredd somehow senses that they're not the only ones in this location. That being said, there could be more of these Buzzer-creatures. But who can tell, honestly? Suddenly, from the shadows, Crence, and more people, joined Judge Dredd, the Bakers, Rex, and Alfa. The Judge would like to know who they are, but he's currently busy fighting off a couple of grasshopper-creatures.

"I'm finishing these buzz-creeps! You all can go without me. NONE of them stays alive."

Upon being given the choices of heading straight to the bus or kill the remaining Buzzers, Judge Dredd chooses the latter. After all, Dredd never turns down an offer for a good fight. However, before Judge Dredd could even continue firing, a man, named Jack, attacks the last-living Buzzer, stealing the satisfaction of killing it from Dredd. It seems that the only thing left to do is to head for the bus.

"What the drokk are even these things? They're certainly not Incubuses!"

Webp.net-resizeimage-1.jpg

(Incubus is a term used for Xenomorphs from the Aliens franchise in its crossover comic books with Judge Dredd.)

After he thought about what kind of creatures the Buzzers are, Judge Dredd returns to reality and focuses his attention to the newcomers. He'll definitely be asking for some kind of identification. Judge Dredd just can't trust someone that easily.

As they've all gotten onto the tram, and were comfortable with their sits, Dredd stands up from his.

"I'm gonna need some sort of identification from all of you!"

Judge Dredd's voice is deep. And not forcibly deep. Naturally, as he is to be feared.

"Name, age, some background info. Anything necessary. I need to know who belongs in this tram right now... Before I start kicking out people!"

Judge Dredd doesn't fear if they would all just attack him because of the attitude he's giving. He has his own protocols, and those're the protocols everyone needs to follow if they want to be of assistance to Dredd.

What will happen next?

To be continued.

As the jumpship steadily cruised forwards, Chance glanced out the viewscreen. Festung hadn't caught up with him, which was rather odd. That is, until he received a transmission from said Titan. He raised a brow. "The what?" He asked. "And it's nibbling on... oh, Sky," The Exo groaned and put his hand on his helmet. "Please don't tell me it's Nanome's ship."

In the cargo bay, Zeke spun around to face Isaac, giving him a look of annoyance. The Ghost did have a rather short temper, after all. "What?!" Then he was promptly caught in an invisible force and tossed backwards. He was thrown a fair distance, regaining control just before he could hit the door. Not that it would have done much, of course. Ghosts were largely immune to anything short of concentrated orbital bombardment when it came to firepower. "Ha ha. Very funny," He muttered. "You're lucky I'm not allowed to transmat you outta this ship."

Still, both Isaac and Khara were telling him to back off. He turned back to the hysterical form of Nanome, and decided to comply for once. "...Fine," He muttered.

Back in the cockpit, the ship's scanners picked something up on the horizon. Chance tapped a few buttons, and soon, the image of a city popped up. It looked ancient, really, many buildings built with sandstone and other natural materials. It resembled the half-eroded ruins he'd encountered on the deserts of Earth.

Soon enough, he received a hail from the city, and a professional-sounding female voice came through.

Chance wasted no time in returning it. "This is Titan Chance-28. I'm a Guardian of the Last City," He said. "En route to a place called... Blacksea."

Finally, finally, the Web gave way and the Beta Team was freed from their webby prison. Odessa hung back as Crence went to the Beta Team, keeping a wary eye on the Buzzers amid the light given off by her plasma sword, which she immediately deactivated and watched as it reconfigured back into a blaster rifle. Can't afford to have those buggers attack us unawares, she thought as she aimed, prepared to fire at the buzzers if they made the slightest aggressive move toward them. After some conversation with Beta Team, Commander Crence would guesture for them to move silently back to where they were. Odessa would nod as she walked backwards, keeping an eye on the Buzzers in case of attack, then when it was clear they weren't going to attack, Odessa would spin back around. She notice Lucas veering off away from the group, toward some light, but didn't intervene, the physco can perish for all she cared.

One transition later.

She heard the sounds of battle even before they saw the other points of the team and was just about to join them when they mircalously finished the Buzzers off. Sighing, she put away the Blaster Rifle and returned to the tram, settling into her comfortable seat as the tram flew away from the battlefield. She was just relaxing when a large big helmeted man demanded to know their identifications with a super deep authorative voice that Odessa didn't fear in the slightest. She sighed and rubbed her hands on her face. Another cop-like person who thinks he still has authority when snatched away into the omniverse.

"Lilliane Odessa Del'Ortollio!" She said, somewhat dismissively at beefman, she also said her name superfast just to annoy him, she then flashed an ARMAS badge, "Intergalatic cop and ARMAS operative! Not that it matters, I highly doubt you or anyone on this tram even knows what ARMAS is, beefman." She snickered to herself as she put the badge away.

Was she sucidial? Probably. She just couldn't take BIG BEEFY BUFF men who flaunt their authority and act as if their word is law when it clearly isn't seriously.
She had flattened most of them to paste anyway. Boost-induced paste. (It didn't even occur to Odessa that she is too reliant on a strength-inducing drug to fight these men.)

The Goddamn Batman!

Ken in reflection knew he should have saw this coming, he knew it. Yet when he was eating his tea and bread, enjoying in their lavish delights, the ground gave away from under him and in he fell.

Ah, a typical tuesday. Bread, tea, the ground falling out from under him. It should not have gone any better. He continued to fall graciously through the void, his face stoic and his mind at peace and by at peace, what I actually mean is: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Yes, a Typical Tueday. Sip, sip.

He was in the void for quite some time when suddenly the void turned blue and he hurled through the sky and CRASHED into the airport before smashing into the ground, still prone, still clutching his bread and tea where he let out a deep, and stoic.

Noveran - Colonium, tram to Beacon Point

Once the buzzer webs come loose Noveran helps grab the trapped team members and pull them out. He makes no comment about Officer Cleveland's apparent stupidity in bringing the buzzers out to cause this mess in the first place but he certainly doesn't have a favourable first impression of the officer. Noveran puts his mask back on, pleased at not having to ruin his expensive clothes in the swamp and gets ready to make his way back towards the other group.

Noveran notices Lucas wandering off and thinks to himself whether or not he should try to catch his attention, ultimately deciding not too as he thinks about how Lucas most certainly isn't a normal human and can probably handle whatever they're walking into by themselves, and if they can't, it'll be a good opportunity to learn more about what kind of monsters live here.

Noveran reunites with the other group just in time to see the last of the buzzers finished off and takes particular interest in the glowing fluid that spurts from the buzzer's eye.

Stepping onto the tram as per Captain Crence's direction Noveran see's Dredd step aboard and start interrogating the other passengers. Noveran quietly chuckle to himself seeing how Odessa responded and Noveran would admit to himself that yet another person trying to claim themselves as an almighty authority was the last thing that he needed right now, but at the same time, he couldn't resist the opportunity to indulge in his vanity and self-aggrandise himself yet again as he repeats his spiel about his history as an feared adventurer and mercenary as well as the ancient powers that courses through (what remains of) his veins.

As you all were interacting and driving along, you would see another glowing light by the road, illuminating under one of the road lights, if anyone noticed, they would see a tiny, frog-like creature hop towards the light, fixated on it as it hopped closer. Once the frog got right in front of the light it would immediately go dark as you saw a huge snake looking head jut out of the darkness and violently swallow it whole. Crence would speak up, as the light returned to normal
That’s a Colonium Dark Snatcher right there...but we call em snatchers, nasty fellas, they are usually harmless except to people who don’t realize what the light actually is...I’d hate to be one of those people...horrible way to go.“

After the Beta team was saved from the mangled webs, the Buzzers fell as fast as they came. The trip was silent as Connor watched the Beta team and the other captain as he followed the group on the tram. Once he was on, he eyed everyone on the tram but a new voice launched orders at everyone to introduce themselves.

“General John Connor, leader of the Human Worldwide Resistance against Skynet.”

    • "Rounds?" Rex latched onto the word. "These aren't slugthowers, their blasters." Odd that this man does, since he seems human. His blasters don't need any armor-piercing setting, they work just fine for punching through droids and other humanoid targets. The armor on this Buzzer is incredible, though it's not impossible. There are of course the things that resist them. This, obviously, being one of them.

However, it was nothing to worry about. The medic's suggestion at aiming for the eyes paid off well. Rex's bolts slammed into its eyes, exploding them, bursting out a red liquid. Blood, probably. No matter what it is, the Buzzer did not like that. It fell to the ground, lifeless. Good, these things can be killed. Oh, if only he had a flamethrower squadron with him. That'd show these bugs. Make clearing paths for trams a lot easier, that's for certain. The other Buzzer was brought down by the Bakes, who weren't bothered by their excessive injuries in the slightest. Rex was bothered, but not out of fear for their safety, but more that such a destructive and terrible force as the Bakers can't be brought down by normal means. What will happen when they find being friendly isn't useful to them anymore?

That's not something he can think about right now, however. The others showed back up with Bravo- or, Beta, team. Crence called them all to the tram, him being the last one to board. "Well, let's just hope those things aren't hungry enough to follow us."

Little time passed after they all sat down when the large man with the slugthrower immediately demanded identification, apparently threatening to kick people out. "Call me Rex," he said simply, not taking him all that seriously. "And I don't recommend you try and throw someone out." He sat up and turned to look out the window.

Looking out, he could see a frog walking towards a light in the swamp. Remembering Bertram's warning about the light on Colonium, this does not bode well for the little frog. It hopped closer, highly focused on the light. When it got close enough, a serpentine creature snapped out and ate it whole. Jeez. Crence called it a Colonium Dark Snatcher, deadly to those who don't know what the light is. "This planet's got a whole host of lovely creatures, doesn't it?" He then turned to Crence. "Captain, once we reach Beacon Point, is there any way I can access your long-range comms station? I need to contact the closest Republic station- or fleet, whichever is closer."

    MENTIONS:

Hound found himself flying through the air at a couple hundred miles an hour and quickly slowing down. What happened? Wouldn't Hound love to know. He didn't remember what he was last doing, nor did he have the luxury of trying to recall what had happened. Flying at these speeds was dangerous without the proper equipment or a Jetstream. How did Hound know? Because he could feel the blood rushing into his head and he noticed the darkening of his vision-as if the world went going black and white. That and because he'd been in similar situations before...and they were never fun. He had no idea where he was, he was flying through the air without any idea of his surroundings, and he was close to going into G-LOC.

The one good thing in this situation was the fact that he could feel himself slowing down. Hound was pretty sure it was instinct when he tried to pull his arms in to deploy his wingsuit, but unfortunately for the Combat Controller, his thoughts were too muddled to remember that he removed the wingsuit modules. When he spread his limbs again, he realized that the wingsuit was not there, but at least his spread eagle position created valuable drag that broke Hound out of the effects of high g-forces.

By the time he regained awareness of his surroundings, he barely had time to recognize the building he was approaching faster than a sidewinder. It was a pretty crappy situation by most metrics, but Hound was trained to deal with crap. He created a brief Jetstream to pull him out of the way. That Jetstream was just what he needed. In the split second of relief, Hound managed to regain control of his body. Awesome.

Before him, a vast urban landscape ate up the entirety of Hound's vision. In the first couple seconds, Hound ignored the details and focused on slowing down his speed and dodging incoming buildings. However, as he fell into the rhythm of "building, Jetstream, dodge, slow, repeat", he noticed that the feel of the city was very different from Los Angeles. It was...old...steampunk… Victorian? Hound wasn't entirely sure, but judging from bits and pieces of technology he stole glimpses at, the city either had a very different design philosophy from twenty-first century United States, or they were very far behind in terms of technological advancement. The Combat Controller wagered it was a bit of both, but he'd withhold judgement until he could get his hands on some of the tech.

The "easy flying" Hound was enjoying didn't last long, as the path through the buildings and skyline inevitably led him to a strikingly modern pyramidal building amid the dreary steampunk skyline. The Combat Controller would've liked to avoid the building and land somewhere else entirely, but him suddenly noticing the building didn't lend him the time he would need to change vectors...at least, not without getting seriously hurt. The only option was to thread the needle and land inside the terminal-like structure.

Hound braced himself as he passed under the overhang and approached the ground. His speedometer registered him at some 50km/h. Good enough. He'll live if he didn't crash into a metal spoke or something like that. Before he knew it, Hound began scraping the floor, the titanium armor plates on his exoskeleton grinding against the floor and slowing him down even further. At some point, Hound began rolling, his body doing its best to bring itself to a stop. It took all of five seconds until Hound crashed into several racks of clothes that he supposed to be from a boutique or something of the sort, crushing the fragile frame under the weight of his equipment combined with the energy of his landing and scattering shirts everywhere.

Being alive was great, but it also hurt. The Combat Controller kind of just wanted to lay there for a while, but he knew that he should probably get moving before people could start questioning him or billing him. He threw off the clothes that covered him and broke into a jog, while apologizing all the way. He wished he could help, but judging from the looks of the locals, help was probably the last thing they wanted from him. Understandable. Being uneasy around a man in full armor and armed to the teeth that just crashed in without a notice was a perfectly natural response. When Hound was well away from his landing zone, he began to pay more attention to the place he was standing. It appeared to be some kind of terminal filled with all sorts of exotic characters, people that looked like they stuck out just as much as Hound himself, if not more.

Judging by where these interesting people were funneling towards and the intercom messages, it looked like the "normal" way to get out was via registering for a Pryden ID. Hound preferred not to leave a paper trail if possible, especially when he was in a completely foreign environment, but he also didn't want to stir up any more trouble than would be necessary. Not having the mandatory ID might put him in a bit of a pickle with the authorities, an annoying prospect. Deciding on getting the ID, Hound strode over to the nearest line and waited as those in front of him got processed.

[/div][div class="tabsContent tabs2" style="display: none;"]ABILITIES: Hound, being an Air Force Combat Controller, is among the most skilled special forces operators in the world. He is trained in firearms, close quarters combat, parachuting skills, SERE techniques, navigation, survival, combat diving, air traffic control, close air support, meteorology, and communications. Hound is a trained fighter pilot, but is not official licensed to fly any aircraft, military or civilian. In addition to his special forces training, Hound is a genius engineer, being able to understand, repair, and create complex electronic and mechanical devices for his use on the field. Hound is able to put all these skills together with a talent for multitasking, capable of coordinating air support, monitoring weather conditions, keeping track of ally positions, and fix a malfunctioning laser target designator all while holding his own in a firefight. Hound's native tongue is Quebecois French, but he is fluent in other dialects of French, and English, as well as conversational in Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun.

The Fostech Origin-12 is a semi-automatic short barreled shotgun chambered in 12 gauge shells with an AK-style action. The Origin-12 is reputed as a shotgun with an asinine cycling speed and incredible reliability, which Hound takes full advantage of. Hound's shotgun comes in the short barrel configuration with and 10" barrel. Attached to it is a Trijicon RDS, a vertical foregrip, a fixed stock, and a 20 round drum. The weapon keeps its 5.7x28mm ammunitions and basic internals, but the frame and action have been modified to integrate the BloodHound system designed Hound himself. The weapon comes with a standard 50-round magazine, BloodHound RDS, rebalanced polymer frame, and optional suppressor. (fn_p90_bh_01.jpg)

The affectionately named "Small Boi" is an advanced weapon that fires ionized bolts of plasma. Hound obtained this when he went to Ventus along with Lazarus, and has since used it in as his side arm. The weapon uses cartridges of inert chemicals and battery packs to fire, with the cartridges holding approximately 1000 shots worth of particles and the batteries having enough charge for 30 standard shots. The pistol has "Stun", "Lethal", "LethalBurst", and "HyperLethal" settings, with each successive setting being deadlier and more energy consuming. (garuda_sml_bo1.jpg)

The BloodHound Integrated Fire System is a system of sensors, modified triggers, and HUDs that Hound invented to enhance the effectiveness of soldiers on the battlefield. The BloodHound system has been put into his Origin-12, P90, and helmet. With this, Hound is able to freely designate enemies, allies, civilians, and critical objectives from his helmet to be aware of his allies' position at all times. When active, the system makes it so that the integrated weapons can only be fired when the bullets have a clear and plausible path to the targets designated by Hound. This system helps conserve ammunition, improve accuracy, and reduce civilian casualties, but can be interrupted by smoke and cover. For these instances, there is an option for manual override.
    [div class=accord]Needle Dart Holsters

Hound, wanting some ammunition specifically designed to take advantage of his powers, came up with the Needle Dart. Needle Darts are essentially sharpened tungsten-carbide needles with a four stabilization fins. The hard material allows the darts to penetrate armor after being thrown through a Jetstream. Hound carries a dozen of these darts split between two wrist holsters and two dozen more across his body. These holsters serve the sole purpose of moving a dart into Hound's hand in an instant, so he can throw it at a moment's notice.

TVTROPESDREDD_519.jpg

As Judge Dredd waits for everyone to individually introduce themselves, he checks on his Lawgiver's ammunition count. He had only fired a few rounds, so it shouldn't look to grave. Judge Dredd decided that it's best to save his ammunition. After all, he doesn't know if this dimension has something that his Lawgiver can use. Anyhow...

Judge Dredd looked at the Bakers. Something is definitely off about them. The Bakers very much look like mutants back in Dredd's dimension. Judge Dredd can't wait to hear something from them. Then, he caught someone, named Lilliane Odessa Del'Ortollio, sighing upon hearing his command. Someone unruly who doesn't know how to follow proper order, perhaps? But before he could even ask, Odessa introduces herself.

Even with her disrespectful tone, Judge Dredd acknowledged her, without saying any words. This is certainly not the first time someone disagrees with his ways, and it definitely won't be the last! He simply nodded his head a few times. And of course, with Judge Dredd's signature mouth expression. Judge Dredd also remembers that he has Buzzer fluid stains on his attire. He wipes what remains of it.

SxNb3VC.jpg

(He's always like this.)

"The name's Judge Dredd! Address me properly, rookie. Next!"

Judge Dredd said to Odessa, authoritatively, before asking someone to be next in their little introduction. But intergalactic cop and a something-operative. If those're anywhere near a Judge's line of work, then she definitely doesn't act like it. Still, it's too early to jump into conclusions.

The next one to introduce themselves is the vain Noveran, who seems to be entertained listenting to Judge Dredd's exchange of conversation with Odessa.

"Feared mercenary... And ancient powers, huh? Interesting. Next."

Dredd acts as if he couldn't get more interested in them. After all, Judge Dress is just doing this to familiarize himself with everyone. For what exactly? Only he knows for sure.

Their introductions continued smoothly.

"General John Connor. Copy."

Connor told Judge Dredd about his background for a little bit. The Judge listened, but didn't respond or say anything to continue their conversation. Instead, Judge Dredd said what he needed to say: Next.

Rex, very much looking like a soldier from whichever dimension he came from, would be next in line. Judge Dredd had already spoken to him before, during the fight with the Buzzers. They had a quick exchange about firearms and ammunition. Just your ordinary man-talk. Honestly, Dredd thinks that Rex might be quite humorous. It's not a trait Judge Dredd wants to be present in his team, but the soldier's combat skills and experience should overcompensate that. However, Rex didn't seem to agree with Judge Dredd's methods.

"Okay, Rex. You seem to have experience. Are you saying we shouldn't kick out those who can be a liability to us?"

But before Rex could answer, Judge Dredd's attention shifted to something else. It's outside their tram. From a good distance is a tiny speck of light, glowing. It doesn't look like an ordinary light though. He walks closer to one of the tram's windows to take a better look. There's also a frog, hopping towards the light. And then, the light disappears, and it reveals itself to be a huge serpentine creature. The frog is its prey. The predator kills it swiftly.

"Then we should all be equipped with a flashlight."

Judge Dredd suggested Crence, upon hearing the latter's explanation of the creature. This place is definitely not merciful for those who aren't cautious to their surroundings.

Dredd returns to Rex.

"So, soldier... What's your judgement? Do we keep them, or let 'em loose?"

    • After asking Crence his question, Rex heard Dredd, as he introduced himself, ask the Captain a question. He turned back to the large man, this "Judge," taking off his helmet to face him. He looked him up and down, considering the man for a moment. What kind of circus did he crawl out of? Or some convention, really. Looks like a wacky character more than any kind of judge. Speaking of which, since when did Judges carry guns and fight in combat? Maybe he was some other kind of judge, bringing the "law" down on the enemy. A nickname, probably.

Dredd struck a nerve. Rex was just in the middle of launching a risky rescue mission with no backup to save a friend, someone this Dredd would call a liability. What kind of soldier, if that is what this Dredd is, would leave someone behind on account of them being a "liability?" Who would leave their brother behind like that? He continued looking at Dredd, though listening for any response from Crence. Rex then looked back into his eyes, and nodded. "Under no circumstances, Judge, are we abandoning anyone. We lay down our lives for any ally, even the ones you call liabilities. And if you don't agree with that," he put back on his helmet.

      "You better adapt quick."

Crence would respond to Dredd with confusion
Did you not receive a flashlight like everyone else soldier? Here...take this one, oh and....I’m Captain Eugene H. Crence...you are under my supervision and just like Rex no one will be left behind, if it wasn’t for anyone’s individual talents we might not have survived out there.
Crence would say firmly to Dredd as the Medic would stand up the drivers seat and let go of the trams wheel
Hello everyone, I am Officer Nancy, and I’ll be caring to your medical needs, and it is uhhh, interesting to see all these different people gathered together to fight for the same cause, it’s honestly very inspiring.
Nancy would say before turning around to continue driving the tram, which seemingly was still moving. As she walked back she would look over her shoulder to Dredd with a nervous look before sitting back down

Odessa smiled at General Rex's statement, "liability my ass." She liked him better than this Judge character, even if the Judge was infinitely more "threatening". She could probably take him anyway. As matter of fact, she could probably take on everyone with her Boost induced rage. Everyone except perhaps the Bakers. They were .... problematic.

"How you guys survived for so long aganst these montroisties is beyond me..." the spacegoer says in response to Crence, sitting back and relaxing. "So what of this war that we are supposedly fighting? I highly doubt it's against bugs and whatever creatures are out there in the dark."

Khara Daelynn ~ Equatorial Strip, Chance-28's ship

"That's..." Khara was honestly stunned. What a gruesome story! No wonder the poor girl was terrified out of her wits, "honestly, horrible. I would never wish something so brutish on you. But please, be reasonable, pilot. Nobody here is stealing you away- we all found this place in the same way. We're all as lost as you are. I don't even know your name, how can I help you feel more at home here?" Khara would absolutely, completely, need Nanome's trust before she could do anything else. It was crucial.

Nanome-Equator
"Isn't it?!" Nanome whined, protectively cradling her cranium. "There's no end to the danger we soldiers face, if we leave the mothership..." Though, when she thought about it, it did make a little sense that everyone had come here unintentionally. She nearly totaled herself, Chance nearly totaled himself, as did Zeke. Maybe that wormhole was supposed to trap unsuspecting pilots? If that was the case, then Khara could never make her feel at home. "I could only feel at home with my cot, my ship, and the smells of ship exhaust, and Barshabu blood...And Yempmir meat..." She began to drool, while her stomach began to grumble. If she'd known that she'd get stuck here, she would have given herself extra portions of Chenrox tenders last night. "And with my fellow soldiers." She sniffled. Oh, how she missed standing in those flawless lines, while she was briefed by Commander's familiar voice.

Khara ~ Equatorial Strip, Chance-28's ship

"Hold on, pilot," Khara looks her up and down, seeing an opportunity. All it took was a modest meal, hardly more than an appetizer, and she would have the girl, "are you hungry? I could prepare you something to eat, if you didn't mind." Perhaps she didn't need Nanome's trust after all...

As soon as she realized that her hunger could be heard, Nanome squeezed herself. "Argh! I've shown vunerability!" Sweat started to roll down her face. Nope, no way, now how. These people were out to poison her for sure. She wouldn't eat a crumb from them. "J7-9 accepted food from strangers. They found him hours later, with his stomach turned inside out, and bubbling like a pot of hot water..."

Equatorial GM Post

Festung wasn't remotely fazed by this puny Aron, instead giving the Pokemon a very unamused stare.

"Oi, YOU shoo! Go on, get!"
Festung conjured a Magnetic Grenade in his right hand, and lobbed it in the air, creating an explosion of Void Light. However, the grenade wasn't able to stick to anything, and as such there was only one explosion of Void Light rather than two.
"Festung, be advised, sandstorm's picking up. We'll have to move, and I think we can work this to our advantage."
"Oh, all right, let's get the others out of here towards this Blacksea... place. Stupid sandstorm, ruining my ability to show off..."
Festung proceeded to transmat back into his jumpship.
"Alright, everyone, this is going to get real weird, because transmatting is basically teleportation! I'm teleporting you guys on my ship, then we're getting the hell out of here!"
With that, Festung transmatted back onto his ship, before transmatting everyone Chance left behind back onto his ship before taking off, directly above the Aron in an attempt to scare it off.
"I don't know what the bloody hell is happening, whatever yer name is, but ye owe me a bloody explanation when this is over."
A highly annoyed Max took a seat, and folded his arms.
"Relax, explanations are part of my career! Like that one time where I..."

A few minutes later, Chance would see Festung's jumpship fly on in, before momentarily halting, presumably greeted by the same professional voice.
"Festung-17, Guardian of the Last City. Is this Blacksea?"
"Chance-28... Festung-17... both of you are clear. Designating landing areas."
Festung turned to Chance-28, nodding, before turning back to the city. The first thing that both would notice was that Blacksea was covered in a glass dome, one that was seemingly opening up.
"For a low-tech looking city... I sure wasn't expecting a designated landing zone."

"Well, uh, here we are."

Approximately 5 minutes later, Festung's jumpship had, well, landed. Festung quickly transmatted everyone onboard out of his ship before transmatting himself out.
"Bloody hell, man! What happened to advance warning?"
Max grumbled as he rolled his neck, and took in the place around him.
"Aye, this is definitely Blacksea. I've heard of it a couple times, as well as seen it a few times."
"Alrighty, well, we're away from the hellhole that is the sandstorm outside. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll get moving real quick to see where we are..."
With that, Festung walked off, whistling a tune. Max shrugged.
"Odd man."

Everyone on Chance-28's ship would also find that they had been transmatted off.

Nanome remained curled up between pipes, shivering. They'd landed somewhere, but where? Her GPS and her handbook were both left behind on her ship, which was no doubt lost to the sand by now. "O-6 would know what to do...O-4 would comfort me...O-3 would probably be identifying the ship model..." She felt frustration bubbling inside her. She wasn't O-6, O-4, or O-3. She was O-7, the most inept, reckless of the pack. None of those three would have been stupid enough to get themselves into this mess in the first place. "Maybe they're happy I'm gone...." She mumbled. "Maybe they're just like my first parents, and don't care enough to rescue me."

Bob the Pikachu/Laura Allen (feat Blackon)

Bob wasn't amused. It wasn't the first time she was plucked from her universe and thrust into some other universe, and quite frankly she was annoyed. She looked around in her Pikachu form and spotted a familiar short black dino-lizard waking up and shaking his head.

"Darn it! Where are we now!?"

"Pika pika pikachu!" (I have no idea) She appeared to be in some sort of landing pad and was watching a ship land on said landing pad, which was all so surreal. She watched as a group of humans (or at least people who look human) disembark from the ship, and made up her mind, then and there. The Pikachu would concentrate and then in a blinding flash of light, would morph into her human form, a blonde young woman wearing a yellow Pickachu hoodie, complete with ears! She took a moment to orientate herself and started walking toward the group, not at all nervous or hesititant, as a matter of fact she didn't much care about the group, she just wanted to know where she was.

"Hey, wait up!" Blackon yelled from behind her. Laura stopped for a moment and sighed as she waited for the blasted lizard to catch up to her. Once he was there, she picked him and had him rest on her shoulder.

"You know, you don't have to be so lazy all the time!"

"Sorry!"

Rex removes his helmet, as if he wants Judge Dredd to see his face. Perhaps to deliver what he's about to say, in a very serious manner, and not just for familiarity.

As Rex attempts to look at Dredd's eyes through the Judge Helmet's visor, Dredd also looks back at Rex's. Judge Dredd listens to what Rex has to say. Despite it being slightly personal, which isn't the Judge's cup of tea, Dredd acknowledges Rex's response. In fact, Judge Dredd nods a few times. But...

"That's your judgement. Sounds like nothing has been grim enough in your career. Count yourself lucky. And better hope it stays that way."

Judge Dredd also hears Odessa muttering something, but he doesn't pay much attention to it. Instead, Dredd looks at Rex's helmet, and back to him, eye-to-eye, again.

"Now put your helmet back on. You never know when a bullet comes at you. Don't be the liability."

Judge Dredd looks at everyone else, glancing from one person to another. There is still a few who have yet to introduce themselves. But before their introductions could resume, Crence talks to him.

"No, I did not receive a flashlight... Captain. Hmmm... If your order is that no one gets left behind, then that's a copy, chief."

Captain Crence, on the other hand, gains Judge Dredd's obedience. After all, Crence is the captain. Much like how Dredd follows the orders of the Chief Judge of the Justice Department back in his dimension. Judge Dredd takes the flashlight that Captain Crence hands him.

Then, Dredd's peripherals catches a person standing up. Someone's about to resume their introduction, finally.

"Officer Nancy. Glad that you find it... Inspiring. Next."

Judge Dredd says that sarcastically. Officer Nancy goes back to driving the tram, which was self-driving during her introduction. Odessa then asks something interesting, finally catching the Judge's attention. She asks about a war they're about to fight. Judge Dredd looks at Captain Crence for an answer to Odessa's question.

To be continued.

Chance glanced to his side out the viewscreen to see that Festung's Echo had caught up, now flying by him. The Striker rose a brow at the voice, who had already cleared them both for landing. "Well, that was surprisingly easy," He remarked.

As he cruised closer, he realised that the city, this Blacksea, was in fact covered with a massive, glass dome. "Okay... that's something." Zeke muttered, appearing next to his head. "I'd probably say that a city inside a giant glass dome is weird, but, well, we've seen weirder stuff."

Chance chuckled at that. "Yeah," He cocked his head towards the cargo bay, where the passengers were held. "How's it going back there, by the way?"

Zeke spun his shell for a moment. "Nanome doesn't really seem to be doing well. Keeps crying about her ship and squad. Must've been real rough where she came from," He told him. "The others are okay, haven't really tried anything. Well, 'cept the engineer. Tried to run his own little diagnostic on your ship."

"He did?" Chance asked.

"Yeah. Didn't trust it, it seemed. Zapped him with a little Arc energy, and then he tossed me away with that telekinesis of his," The Ghost seemed to narrow his eye in annoyance. "I don't like him."

His Guardian sighed. "Well, you'll have to, sooner of later, because I'm pretty sure everyone's stuck together for the time being."

The ship continued on its journey, flying through the opening in the dome, touching down on the landing area. Once the ship was safely on the ground, Chance lowered the ramp. Mostly because he reasoned that transmatting everyone out would have a rather negative effect on their stomachs.

Only Chance himself was transmatted out, appearing outside his ship in a flash. He took a long look around the city. Once he decided that it was safe he removed his helmet via transmat, and let his fully robotic features be revealed to everyone for the first time. "So..." He began, turning to Festung and the others in the group. "What now?"

While she sat and cowered in her corner of the ship, her eyes struggled to adjust to the darkness. Meanwhile, she would "entertain" herself with stories about what her "new home" would be like. "I'm probably going to be bound with very high-quality ropes, or maybe even chained. Or caged...Do they think I'm strong enough that they have to put me in a cage? How much does my price depend on my health? Maybe, if I gave myself a cough...Or if I stayed long enough in here that I'd go blind..." Not that she wanted to go blind...Or, actually, she really didn't want to be able to see Commander's face when she reunited with her. "If I ever do get home..." Oh, Commander would slap her senseless, but it would be so much better than going wherever she was going! It was hot in here, and claustrophobic, and, most importantly, she couldn't shake off her guilt.

Then there was a heavy metallic groan, and Nanome was blinded by sunshine for what felt like an hour. When her eyes reverted to normal, she realized that she was released from the flying prison. With no escorts! Like a cat released from a carrier, she was immediately dashing away. This city she was taken to was rather primitive compared to the other times she had been captured and taken to an enemy civilization. There was a glass dome over it, which struck fear into her gut. They anticipated her trying to escape, didn't they?! W-what was she to do? "I've just got to shoot my way out!" She reached down to her pocket, only to have a heart attack. I-it must've fallen out of her pocket while she was trying to pilot out of the sandstorm! Well, that was just one more thing she ended up leaving behind.

Well, she had the next best thing...Kind of. Right beneath her jumpsuit's buckle was a smaller pocket containing a translator. If she met someone speaking in a foreign language, it hopefully wouldn't fail her.
