War. What is it good for?
The Romans? The Greeks? Or the Gods?
Ultimate power reigns from within, something given, but not truly born with. You can born entitled to power and yet have it stripped away. War in particularly is something complex and made up of many different things. From minor tactics to the grand strategy to win a game. Death. Destruction. Ruins.
Some things can be saved after war but not everything will remain the same way that you left it. The surroundings, the people, the world, except one thing can't be changed: feelings. The anger, the love, the sadness, the despair. Every emotion that you felt during the bloodshed will forever remain. It will linger. It will haunt.
What happens when you bring back some of those very feelings? After all, anything can happen at the right price. Especially with the Gods. The almighty beings in which you serve. In which you were born to. Roman and Greek. Coexisting and yet such anger and wrath.
What is left over, something up for you to decide. Or was the destiny of your home truly destruction of the place itself?
This is a role play in which the decisions of your characters decide the fate of their homes and their individual lives. This isn't to foresee death but instead destruction in a way you may not have expected at the beginning. There are many things that will remain unknown and gradually be discovered. Reactions are key, relationships are key. Involvement is very important, as well as communication and teamwork.
This is a role play started by WoodenZebra in which died. With their permission, we've chosen to reboot it again. This time, I'll be in charge with Zebra as my Co-GM. There are many things to be discussed in this role play, talking about events and developing new ideas together is again, very important!
Here are some rules, hopefully they're not too much.
Rules:
- Be active. Understandably, school, work, or simply having summer plans can and will get in the way. That's incredibly understandable. But please don't drop the role play and preferably give a warning if you'll be gone for more than a few days at a time.
- Preferably 2 paragraph minimum, the exception being if your post doesn't have any conversation since overkill with detail isn't much fun. Just don't do one-liners, try to have some thoughts and a bit of detail. Luckily, this probably won't be an issue due to the environment.
- This is a role play with demigods, of course they can have powers, some will definitely be checked, but simply don't god-mod. No killing off a character. You know, all the stuff you've probably learned since Role play day 1.
- Flaws are important in characters! They don't have to be ridiculous, they can be your boy or girl-next-door type character but even they have some flaws.
- This role play takes place after the Percy Jackson series. The Roman demigods and Greek demigods will have established a positive relationship with each other. This role play is strictly OCs but I will consider children of canon characters. Perhaps a canon character, as an adult, will be feature in the future.
- Cursing is allowed.
- If you need help thinking of character's powers/abilities, ask us.
- If there's an argument or conflict, pm each other or pm me. It could likely easily be discussed.
- On the previous topic, don't disrespect anyone ooc. It's different for two characters to be fighting but for the actual people, well, that's simply something that should be avoided. Do your best to get along. Kept in IC.
- Even more so, you should be extremely respectful of myself and my Co-GM.
For this roleplay, I'll be accepting a handful of greek and roman characters so things are even and fair. Also to make it more interesting.
