As a general Ares rule though, his weakness should be strategyModernRanger said:You have to admit, reading through my new character's history. There is no way that he isn't exceptionally powerful.
Don't doubt my power, I am a PROFESSIONAL villain.ModernRanger said:You have to admit, reading through my new character's history. There is no way that he isn't exceptionally powerful.
And that's where I win. (} )ShurikenPhoenix said:As a general Ares rule though, his weakness should be strategy
Because at this point there is no point even pretending not to be OP.ModernRanger said:You have to remember though, he fought in every battle in history. He has witnessed hundreds of strategies.
*rolls eyes* If anything bothers me, it is this excuseModernRanger said:He can be defeated, it is possible.
Remember this then, he was approved. If ShurikenPhoneix believed I'd use him unfairly she wouldn't have approved him. I won't tarnish my role as the third GM by using a character like this in a bad way.SirDerpingtonIV said:*rolls eyes* If anything bothers me, it is this excuse
Shuriken also approved a daughter of a primordial being. And that is all I'm saying on this.ModernRanger said:Remember this then, he was approved. Well, you have my word that I won't use him in an unfair way. I hope that makes you feel a little more secure about all this.SirDerpingtonIV said:Shuriken also approved a daughter of a primordial being. And that is all I'm saying on this.
*Shrugs* Doesn't effect Mara. And Dan is inactive at this pointModernRanger said:Well, you have my word that I won't use him in an unfair way. I hope that makes you feel a little more secure about all this.
Yeah yeah I know.ModernRanger said:You have to remember though, he fought in every battle in history. He has witnessed hundreds of strategies.
He is Mara's brother, they could make quite an effective double team if you think about it. Mara grabbing weapons he spawns as they fight a mass of monsters they are surrounded by. I see potential here.SirDerpingtonIV said:*Shrugs* Doesn't effect Mara. And Dan is inactive at this point
Mara is on the quest. And has a tendency to hate her siblingsModernRanger said:Oh, I learned awhile ago to not underestimate you my friend.

Laikas is a calm and collected individual who does not enjoy being around large groups of people. He is intelligent and a slight optimist. While sometimes talkative and sociable, Laikas prefers being away from others, similar to his father who typically stays away from any kind of contact with the gods and the mortals. He often tries to make jokes, albeit bad ones, and tries to calm arguments so they don't become fights. He enjoys being a leader when he has to be in a group, although he is often quite a humble person and doesn't mind being led. He is often willing to try new things.
Inner Personality:
Laikas is a very open person, so he's typically what the above. However, despite his modesty, he often feels he has to be right and will argue his point to such an extent that his view will not budge, on certain things.
Fondest Memory:
Hunting with his father on his tenth birthday. Before and after that, he hadn't seen him.
Biggest Regret:
Terrified, Laikas left home when he was only 14, travelling, unknowingly, West, into Finland. There, he met a Satyr, though his name constantly eludes him. The Satyr guided him across the Atlantic, arranging to travel with humans on a cruise liner to America, to Camp Half blood. Even though they had reached the camp, a monster still lid in wait, and gored the Satyr. Despite having knowledge of his power, Oras did not reverse time, despite the Satyr's pleads for him to do so. This constantly haunts him to this day.
Secret:
Left his home because he was convicted of murder.
Items
Weapon/s:
A bow his father's 'friend' gave him. It is adorned with intricate patterns the seem to pulse a deep blue, creating a strange aura around it. While this bow does use arrows, it can draw on the energy of its surroundings and its user, creating ghostly dark blue arrows.
A knife, plain and simple. Something he kept that reminded him of home.
History
How he/she came to be at camp:
(I covered this in the deepest regret bit, but for the sake of it, here's the exact same paragraph with a little extra) Laikas never felt accepted in human society, nor did he care that he wasn't accepted. His mother was constantly obsessed with his father and it drove her insane, so much so that she kept watching and rewinding clocks in order to 'bring him back'. It got to the extent that her obsession led to neglect of Laikas' baby brother, essentially killing him and blaming the child's death on Laikas.
How many years at camp:
0 (Two weeks)
Present Life:
Unaware of the events that happened in the books, Laikas is just trying to adjust to life at the camp. The Satyr had taught him English and it was near enough flawless now, albeit a few grammar errors.
Shall I get wikipedia for you? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronos First line: "Not to be confused with Cronus, the titan father of Zeus" My apologies, this is not supposed to sound rude but I;'ve had this conversation before and it's boring when nobody does any research whatsoever.ModernRanger said:Kronos is the God of Time.
In Greek mythology, he is the Lord over Time. Chronos was just a different spelling of his name. There is no difference there. Kronos is a Titan and a Lord of time.
Wikipedia is not a credible site. Besides, I have taken classes in Greek mythology.Baconhands said:Shall I get wikipedia for you? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronos First line: "Not to be confused with Cronus, the titan father of Zeus" My apologies, this is not supposed to sound rude but I;'ve had this conversation before and it's boring when nobody does any research whatsoever.
