BTW, if we go with the point buy for Attributes, how many points are we starting with? I'm trying to decide on if I should risk making die rolls for my stats or go with the more secure buy system.

For point buy, since we have a decent sized party, I'll stick with the standard 15.
Avoid going below 7. I'm not a stickler for maxes.

Having fiddled with some ideas, I have come up with a character I wanna play.

Some questions that I have:
Can we use Archetypes? (Official Paizo ones)
Do we use Traits?

If the above questions get a yes, then I wanna play an Elf Treesinger Druid, with a nice and friendly (to me...) Crawling Vine as a companion.

I could probably squeeze one more person in.

Since you are new, I'll give you a hand in the character creation process since it can be fairly daunting.

Class-wise, I'd recommend a Fighter of some kind since Magic can be a tad... fickle to work with.
