“Someone else always has to carry on the story...”
Heyo all!
Call me Hen. I am somewhat new to roleplaying, i've recently started again since moving house a few months ago. Currently i'm roleplaying with one other person and so I though I would throw something here as well.

Call me Hen. I am somewhat new to roleplaying, i've recently started again since moving house a few months ago. Currently i'm roleplaying with one other person and so I though I would throw something here as well.
About me and my RP Style
- I am 20, male and living in the UK. Since I am from the UK, my time zone might be very different from yours. That said, I will try my best to be active for you but i'll be needing my beauty sleep too
- I would consider myself to be a rather mature person when it comes to roleplaying. I tend to dislike 'meme', 'clown' and 'eye candy' characters. I do like comedy but i'm much more of a subtle type. (Double-meanings, Ironic moments and so forth.)
- I have Aspergers Syndrome so I tend to struggle with complex social interactions between characters (and people). If I take a while to post my character's reply, it doesn't mean i'm not interested in the roleplay but merely i'm trying to figure out what exactly is going on. I will go on to put that i'm -not- a 'special-case'. You won't have to dumb things down for me, I find people that have done that to be rather insulting.
- I tend to vary my reply lengths depending on the situation. I love well put together lore/worlds and i'll often go into detail about every significant item, character or place. On the other hand I tend to keep my replies rather short if it's a conversation between two characters or certain action moments.
- I am mostly forgiving when it comes to mistakes made. I ain't going to bite your head off for unintentionally causing any issues with the storyline. As a story writer, i'll try to 'Improvise, Adapt, Overcome'. But any serious clashes may bring my Judo chop to bear.
- I'll often use images to help explain things, like a planet, robot, item, person and so forth. If you dislike that and would prefer to rely on your own imagination. You merely have to ask and i'll reframe from doing so. I won't take it personally.
- Sci-Fi (Mostly Hard but i'm fine with a little casual)
- Futuristic
- Mecha (But none of that Gundam flying around stuff )
- Cyber/Diesel Punk
- Basically anything well written & makes sense.
- Medieval (Realistic)
- WW1/2
- Fallout/Post-Apocalypse
- Private Military Contactor RP (Modern day prefered)
What I expect in a partner?
- Be respectful. I am sure 99.999% of people here are not assholes. Still, I see it as a formality to say that i'll treat folk how they treat me. Simple as that.
- Be active. I fully understand that you will not be here all the time, neither will I. People have work, social lives, good days and bad days. I wouldn't be annoyed if someone wasn't active for a week or more but takes the time to message me ahead to let me know that they're taking a break or something. If someone 'vanishes' then it tends to leave a bad impression. I won't ever ask 'why' you aren't going to be here and I will do the exact same for you. If I don't feel like chatting then i'll be sure to send you a message saying that i'm taking a break from the RP.
- Someone that puts in a good effort certainly gets my approval. I tend to put in alot of detail with my chracters, storyline and lore. Although that doesn't mean i'm expecting five paragraphs about your character, I do expect a good effort given. Half-arsed or lazy descriptions are a pet-peeve for me. Same would go for certain situations; If i'm writing up a full scene where your character is in a shootout with several other characters. I will do my upmost to give as much detail as possible. What grinds my gears is when someone merely types 'Anna shoots and kills bad guy A'. What I mean is that I would like alot more describing done. What kind of weapon does she use? Where does she aim? Do any of her shots miss? Where do the missed shots hit? and so forth. Kinda ranty I know but I can certainly imagine that there are people on the same boat as me on this.
