New to this site, but not to roleplaying. I think I've been doing it for roughly 3 years off-and-on. I've heard good things about this place, and figured I'd see if I could get some interesting roleplays goin'.
Before I get into roles and whatnot...
Please, whatever you do, don't just disappear. I've been in several roleplays where someone just disappears, and I can never get a hold of them again. If you need a break, or aren't feeling as into the roleplay anymore, just let me know.
I typically play a female role, but am definitely up for playing a male. Pairings of any gender are fine with me. As long as the characters are written realistically, it doesn't matter much what their gender is.
I don't think I've ever doubled in a roleplay? So, if that's what you're looking for, expect some weirdness at the beginning as I get used to it.
Please no one-liners. If you've gotta do that, make sure it helps the story move along in some way.
I tend to write posts of about 1-4 paragraphs, maybe 6 or 7 if there's a lot going on.
Romance doesn't have to happen, but if it does, there has to be some build-up. Characters won't always get along right away, and "love at first sight" is kind of a boring way to go about it. I love anything medieval, as well as anything in a post-apocalyptic setting (I'd prefer to keep it away from the zombie-thing... that's just old).
If you've ever got an idea during a roleplay, don't be afraid to share! I love brainstorming, and plotting all sorts of unexpected turns in a story. It makes everything so much more interesting when both of us are participating, and throwing all kinds of different things out there. Don't be afraid to have some general OOC chat going on, either.
I really like blood and angst? :'D
Some roles... I'm up for pretty much anything at this point, though. Don't have many ideas for plots, but that's what brainstorming is for.
Bold = Preferred role

- Survivor x Survivor (post-apocalyptic)***
