The ideal girl. How does one describe her? Is she tall? Short? Pudgy? Skinny? Now I don’t know what the ideal girl is, but I do know that Min Hee Park is the ideal of a couple people. She’s small, both in build and height, she’s got a brilliant smile, plus the cutest eye smile you’ve seen. But that doesn’t describe her personality right? Correct! That only describes what she looks like. In fact she’s a rather unique person to meet and know. She’s liked by pretty much everyone, hasn’t fallen into awkward love triangles, or those weird meetings with exes. No, Min Hee is the type of girl you really don’t run into that often. Yes, she’s that one person in life that never seems to be sad, be alone, nor fall in love. Oh yes, now you’re interested, I can tell. We’ve got that connection after all.


So let's start with introduction. It's time for you to be acquainted with miss Min Hee. When you first meet Min Hee, it will probably be at Paper Crane. Since she acts as a waitress from time to time, she’s pretty much always in there. Even as the manager, she’s talking with people, helping the cooks, doing things to help out. You will be met with her bright smile, and the adorable eye smile that only she has. She tends to be quiet, but still lively. Min Hee may seem distant at first, but really she’s shy. She tends to blend in, but that doesn’t stop her from standing out every once and awhile. Despite her shyness, Min Hee is very easy to befriend. She’s pretty easy going and will talk to about anyone. Why? Min Hee doesn’t exclude people because of their choices, so that’s why she is so open to you upon first becoming acquainted. In general, it’s hard for you not to talk to her at one time or another.

You see, she treats everyone as if they’re a childhood friend. Of course if someone is uncomfortable with that, she won’t be too friendly. However this isn’t the case most of the time. Usually people don’t mind that Min Hee is so friendly. In fact her cheerfulness tends to brighten everyone’s day. I mean who doesn’t like a pretty girl chatting with them, laughing at things easily, and just being there for them? Alright now that you’re friends with Min Hee, I suppose I should move into how she is around her actual friends. As mentioned multiple times before, you’re able to become friends with Min Hee with ease. This usually means you pass a series of tests. Ha! Surprising right? In fact when you first meet Min Hee, she’s throwing test after test at you. Why? To simply figure out your character. She wants to make sure that you are a person who she can trust and depend on. Deceiving? No, just very clever. When Min Hee started doing this is unknown. It probably started from her bad judge of character back in school, but we won’t get into that at the moment. Now that you’re friends, Min Hee will seem to open up a bit more to you. She will gladly allow you to talk to her during work, help her cook (she hates when people help her) and simple things like that. She has this sort of relationship with pretty much everyone at the boarding house.


As you get closer to Min Hee, the more you will find out about her. For example this girl is extremely gullible and skittish. She believes whatever you tell her if you are friends and she gets scared over things easily. Many people tease her because of these traits, much to her annoyance. I mean, nobody likes being teased for believing things easily or getting scared. Min Hee is no different. She doesn’t even go to amusement parks now. She hasn’t gone to one in probably nine years. Yeah, that’s because her friends to her to one and purposefully had her ride the scary thrill rides and go through the haunted house. Let’s just say she stopped talking to those people after the incident. Now 24 years old, Min Hee easily makes excuses as to why she doesn’t go to amusement parks. Even though they are something she enjoys going to, she’s still scared of the majority of rides. Poor little deer, this is why she’s so sensitive when people use these traits against her.


Since Min Hee is one of the older residents at Paper Crane, she tends to take care of people a lot. Usually she’ll be up at the crack of dawn, making lunches for those leaving for work early. She’s the type of person that does things without being asked to. You see, Min Hee enjoys making people happy and having people rely on her. She doesn’t mind if they view her as a little sister, big sister, or a mom, frankly she just likes to be noticed and friends with everyone. Min Hee is also the type of woman who will wake you up if you’re sleeping in too late, make sure you get breakfast, and probably straighten up your room if you two are close. Now that I think about, she’s kind of like a dorm mom. She tends to take care of everyone as if they are family. Which leads me to her difficulty in romance.


Romance, something every person dreams about sometime in their life. However, Min Hee hasn’t dreamed nor experienced this. Why? I mean she’s pretty, cheerful, talented, what’s not datable about her? It’s the most obvious of things really. It’s because Min Hee is literally nice to everything that breathes. She doesn’t pick up on things such as romance so if someone was to have a crush on her, they are pretty much rejected due to the fact she will pay no more attention to him/her than any other person. This is why Min Hee has never had a romance before. However here comes another surprise, Min Hee hasn’t had a crush on anyone either. Much similar to the reason why people don’t ask her out, she sees pretty much all of her friends as family, therefore developing a crush is near impossible. Well what about someone outside of her friends? Min Hee doesn’t really notice anyone outside of her large circle of friends so it would take someone a bit to get noticed by her and get her to actually like them.


Now if you were to go up to her and tell her about someone you like, obviously she will happily get involved. When it comes to setting couples up, Min Hee is pretty much the best. Ji-Hye is quite the person, behind her constant smiling and comforting words lies a far more confusing and complex individual, but that's for another time. When you first meet Ji-Hye you're probably met with a warm and comforting smile and 9/10 you'll meet her at the boarding house especially if you just moved in. Ji-Hye often puts past her own problems because she believes that just because she's having a hard time that you should be the victim of her mood. Most people when they meet Ji-Hye will become comfortable around her as she treats everyone like they're her own child no matter what age you are. You could be 10 years older than her and she'll nag at you like she's your mother.


Which brings me to my next point, Ji-Hye is a very motherly person and has been told this numerous times to the point that she's earned the name Boarding House Mom, yeah it's that big of a deal. Though, she tries not to act like a mother 99% of the time, she often can't help it since she was always felt like a mother babysitting her siblings and taking care of them when her parents couldn't do so. The female is very caring and trustworthy, she cares for everybody's well being and takes notice of any type of different mood change. Any talk you have with her especially if it's serious will be shared only with her and sometimes other people but that only happens if they get her to open up and share her feelings. Ji-Hye is also someone who stays by your side through thick and thin and through the bad and good times you may push her away but she'll still stay by your side. She's defiantly someone you can constantly count on and won't push you away if you treated her badly in the past she's just that nice. Though, when she's really hurt she will completely stop talking and even act cold towards you. It's honestly something and it doesn't help that Ji-Hye isn't very forgiving. She may say she forgives you but mentally she hasn't.


Honestly, Ji-Hye doesn't understand herself to be completely honest. The way she handles things are always different because of her mood. Her mood makes a lot of her decisions instead of her own mind which is bad but she can't help it. Her decisions when in a neutral mood honestly confuse herself greatly as sometimes they don't make any sense. At times, Ji-Hye can be annoyingly persistent and clingy. She can't help it but she's working on it. In a relationship she's like that because she's afraid to get tossed to the side, to become the supporting role instead of the starring role in a relationship. " Ji-Hye and Jinho have their moments of getting along with each other but tend to bicker a lot because of their personality differences. APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION


Myeong, Ji-Hye. A girl that has been complimented endlessly for her appearance and has even been scouted for her looks though she declined. Ji-Hye's features are quite soft and seem to constrast quite well. The female's slender face have eyebrows that are naturally arched and slightly longer. Her eyebrows aren't very prominent or dark and instead have a softer look to them making her look at ease 99% of the time. Under Ji-Hye's eyebrows lies her slightly thick yet short and small eyelashes that create a blanket for her amber eyes that are slightly rounded. Unlike most Asians, Ji-Hye in fact does not have dark brown eyes and instead has one of the most rarest eye colors in the world. Amber. Also known as wolf like eyes because they just about share the color of a wolf's eyes.


Ji-Hye's eyes are a golden color but also tend to change color which is sometimes because of the light or photo quality. Her camptivating eyes are most of the time a golden color but will have a hazel look to them sometimes as the light can make them look green and brown. Last but not least, Ji-Hye's eyes can also have blue in them. It doesn't happen often though. At times her eyes will have multiple colors in them which include brown, a golden color, green and around the eye will you see a little bit of blue it's honestly a breathtaking sight. When not smiling, Ji-Hye's nose seems quite small only being slightly wide towards the end which isn't too noticeable until she smiles which she doesn't appreciate in the slightest. The female's lips are quite small and don't take a bunch of space on her face.


Standing at 5'5 Ji-Hye weighs a reasonable weight of 120lbs. Background: Areum was born into a very simple middle class family. No gimmicks, nothing. Her sisters were all normal, as was her mother. Except that her dad was quite homophobic. And over protective. Sung-mi has two different sides. Her regular self, and her work persona 'Sumi'.


At work, Sumi is known for being a chameleon of sorts, able to take on looks ranging from cute, to cool, and even sexy. She presents herself differently depending on what sort of job she is auditioning for, and therefore in the industry, it's fairly hard to pinpoint an actual personality to the model. This flexibility works to her advantage in her career of choice.

Sung-mi's upbringing was the definition of typical. She had an average home, with parents that treated her well and got good grades. She was a friendly, but unassuming girl with long hair who dressed like most girls her age did. It wasn't until she graduated high school that things for her changed.


Graduation meant a new start. She studied fashion design for a year before dropping out of school when it wasn't what she thought it would be. His hair is styled into an almost-like undercut, also being styled into different hairstyles by his sister or by himself. He does run his hand through his hair sometimes when is frustrated or upset which does create a different hairstyle on him which him looks quite handsome.


Chung Hee has a slender body with visible muscles on him. His body type is classified as "Lithe & Athletic", one of the more desirable body types and at 133 lbs, he is considered light and fit. Mew Mee Kyong is an pretty young woman with pale skin. Although it is pale with no moles on it, it has a birthmark on her shoulder and the occasional scrape or cut. Mee Kyong also a scar on her knee for riding a skateboard boarding and cutting herself with glass. Mee Kyong has long rib-cage length black brown hair that perfectly juxtaposes her pale skin and makes her look even paler. She also dyes her hair a orange-yellow on some occasions. She has a curl to hair which is thick and quite pretty and adored by her female and sometimes male colleagues.

Mee Kyong is a spunky and bold girl to say the least. She is complex and full of layers which we will put in summary. To the public, Mee Kyong is a shy and quiet girl, nothing too flashy about her. She is not very good with people and is very much bashful about talking and talks in a very low voice and his normally seen red when talking to strangers or outlanders. She might reply with a shrug or a small smile, simply being kind although she doesn't to talk to them. She is very modest about how she speaks and probably was raised strictly and firmly like a elderly woman. If you ever meet her indirectly, like an accident or what not, she will probably say sorry one-thousand times and become red like a tomato. Her shop displays desserts of the common sweet variety, but it also has desserts that are a combination of flavors that Meili has come up with.


Animals || There is nothing that Meili loves more than desserts, but animals are a pretty close second. Meili loves pretty much any animal with fur and will find all of them cute, even if other might think otherwise. She'll always spazz out if she sees a cute animal and her favorites are definitely domesticated ones, because she can cuddle with them. Baking || Meili has always had a talent for baking, and ever since she was little she wanted her job to involve desserts. Now living her dream, she has mastered all sort of techniques and was always the top of her class when she was studying to be a pastry chef. Her talent is not just making desserts, but also creating them. Having a creative mind, she is able to think of and create her own recipes and designs.


Recreating Desserts || When she went to a cooking school, Meili actually found out she had the ability to recreate a recipe of a dessert by just tasting it once. Although other students had this ability too, they weren't as accurate as Meili was.


Drawing || Although she didn't really take an official class for it, Meili is talented in drawing realistic items, and so this has helped her design her desserts. Being able to draw out what her desserts would look like, extremely helped turned the idea into a reality.


Singing || Although it's just a hobby for her, people have told her that she had a nice singing voice.

Once you get past her sassy outer shell, Meili can be the most caring person you could ever meet. It is her honesty and straightforwardness that often blinds people from seeing her caring and kind nature. Underneath her truthful, and sometimes hurtful, words is a person who cares about the ones around her. It may not sound like she cares at first, but there is a deeper meaning to her words. It won't be obvious, but she says things thinking it's for their own good. She believes that it is better to tell people the truth rather than to lie and sugarcoat things, but their are some topics she knows not to be too blunt about. Meili is the type to think about her future more than to spend time in the present. Meili is always ready to question and rebuke someone; nagging them like a mother would. However, Meili is quite the hypocrite. For example, she'll naturally nag and question choices of other people, but when people do the same to her, she'll hate it and get angry at them for it.


Meili is extremely serious when it comes to making desserts and her shop. Being a little bit of a perfectionist, she likes following by the book because that way she'll know she won't make a mistake. When she makes a mistakes or does something she regrets, she'll go down really hard on herself and it'll take her weeks to get over it. Even if it's one of her workers that made the mistake, she would put most, if not, all the blame on herself and being independent as she is, she often won't lean on other people and refuse their help. You'll have to really convince her to let you help her. This is similar to how she deals with her emotion too. Meili would much rather be the pillar for someone else. She would be there for you to cheer you up, or even to give you advice. She'll pretty much drop everything to help you out. On the other hand, she doesn't really like talking about her feelings. She'll often bottle up her sad emotions thinking no one would want to listen to her.


When it comes to interacting with other people, she's fine interacting with her customers, but with people she just met outside of work, she'll be really awkward and quiet. Once she gets comfortable, she'll start talking more, but she'll still be a little awkward. Towards her friends, she is really friendly and easy to talk to, but she often doesn't initiate conversation. In her workplace, she's an excellent leader and her employees respect her and often seek guidance from her; however with her friends, she's more of a follower and does what is more convenient for everyone. If you'd like a few words about Mr. Personality here, I can give you one to start out with: Prissy. Yes I realize that's not a real trait and can't be applied well, but Kyung is very high strung, and wants things to go his way. If not, well you can expect a silent tantrum of him sitting in the corner, brooding. In stride with that, he's often very pessimistic and down on everything. Rarely is there a positive word that he will ever utter. But that doesn't include just you, he's very self critical of himself. He dislike the way he looks, and the only comfort he can find is the fact that his style is impeccable and all his clothes are just fine. He's willing to voice his opinion, whether or not you want it and whether or not its welcome.


He's outspoken and often times in other people's business. But he isn't that terrible, he's brutally honest, claiming that it's for people's own good. So that means he cares about the general populus ... right? A bit of a stretch, but he tries to be blunt so people don't make fools of themselves. If he's not under much pressure, he can be very calm and controlled. He's capable of getting things done, with or without your help. Sometimes, when he hasn't opened his mouth yet, people have called him captivating. In his rather reserved posture and astute understanding of a situation with a mere glance. To be fair, there are a lot more negative traits than positive ones, but that is just the circumstance of things from his past.


Background


The events leading up to the dramatic change of personality for Prince Kyung are most definitely interesting, would you like to hear them? Well you don't have much of a choice here I go. It was a year ago when smart, sarcastic and rather naive unchanged Kyung met a handsome young man, having fallen for his sappy charms nearly immediately, he was entirely devoted to him. What a cute little puppy he was, following him around, yipping for attention. Head over heals he was, but that was when the young man decided that he was bored with him, and moved on. Kyung refused to be treated in such a cast aside manner. He hardened his defenses, and made a vow to never be taken for granted or lose by falling in love. This new Kyung was entirely confident in all of his decisions.


But aside from that, Kyung grew up in a cold and unloving family, but his mother was bright and colorful. She loved her son and Kyung depended on her. His father? Not so much. He was astounded that his son grew up so ... different from his two brothers, who were brilliant in sports and not so brilliant in any other subjects. But they were popular. Kyung, not even close. But he was a momma's boy, and his brothers were daddy's boys. So Kyung always came third with his father. He wanted his approval, and strived for it, but never got it. Now that his personality has been totally flipped around, he couldn't care less what his father thinks. His mother bore with him on the change, and still does to this day. His father? Not so much. Kyung grew tired of this, and decided that it was time for a change. He took what little money he had and left. His mother might've been sad, and his father might've shook his head but he was long gone.

Hats || He has an extremely large amounts of hats sitting in his closet. It mostly consists of snapbacks, but there are other types of hats laying around in there as well. Changming is really obsessed with them and doesn't let other people borrow them unless he gives them permission, which rarely happened. Ramen || Ramen is Changming's favorite food to eat. He almost loves it as much as he loves his hats, and that says a lot. Cooking || It's not like he dislikes cooking. It's just that he isn't good at it. When he's cooking, he gets frustrated a lot. He honestly has no common sense when it comes to cooking. In the middle of completing a recipe, he'll just start adding random ingredients because he thinks it'll taste good. It's even worse when he tries to make up his own recipe.


Anything to do with horror || Changming hates the horror genre. He just can't handle it and gets scared by the littlest thing. He can't even handle small ghost stories. If he's sitting through a horror movie with you, or something like that, expect a very clingy Changming after that.


Flirtatious girls || He doesn't hate them, but he feels very uncomfortable when he's being hit on by people he doesn't know. He just wouldn't know what to say back and so would be a complete awkward mess. Honestly, he just doesn't like the girls that are overly flirty with him. The poor boy can't handle it.


Gaining weight || Changming doesn't gain much body weight, but the only reason he hates it is because all the fat goes straight to his face. He is quite proud of his handsome face, and so it makes him insecure when he sees his face get chubbier. Plus, he's a little lazy and so exercising to get rid of the extra fat on his face would always put him in a bad mood. He would also have to diet and he doesn't want to give up his favorite foods.

At first glance, Changming seems like one of those cool, suave kind of guys. He doesn't have to do anything, he can just stand and do nothing on the street and girls will flock to him. He just has this mysterious aura around him that attracts girls, including his classmates, towards him. Changming is normally a pretty quiet guy, so that sort of adds on to that mysterious aura. He doesn't like to talk about himself that much and would much rather just listen to other people talk. Honestly though, he's just a big dork at heart. When he wants to be, some really weird things comes out of his mouth and could probably drag people into some crazy situations. His dorky personality just doesn't match his appearance at all. Changming normally wouldn't do anything too embarrassing, but honestly speaking if you ask him to do something, he'll surely do it. You'll honestly won't know what's running through this kids mind.


Changming is also quite the awkward fellow. Because he was home-schooled most of his life, he didn't really develop good social skills. He is really awkward when dealing or talking with people he doesn't know; however, he can interact with customers just fine. The only reason he's so different interacting with people inside and outside of work is because at least at work, he knows what to say. He isn't used to holding a conversation in Korean and so it takes him a little while to respond and most of the time he doesn't know how to respond. A lot of the times, he would just answer with short responses. This causes an awkward silence to the fill the air pretty quick. Once he gets comfortable, he can become quite talkative and more outgoing.


Although he is a little quiet, he is really observant. He can pick up a lot of different kinds of information about a person. For example, he can pick up their weaknesses or when they're lying. It's a really mean kind of move, but if he can, he won't hesitate to use any information he knows to throw people under the bus, or to use against them, to save his own skin. If he's not using it to save his own skin, he'll use it to make a sarcastic comment. If he feels guilty for saying something though, he'll do anything to be forgiven. It's best to forgive him quickly because otherwise he'll eventually go to extremes to ask for forgiveness. At that point, he won't care how embarrassing he'll be and do anything. The same can be said when he gets angry. Once he gets angry, he can be really stubborn and extreme. He won't forgive and forget easily and will hold a grudge for weeks on end. There will even be times when he gets angry at someone and won't tell them why he's angry.


When he's made a decision, Changming will follow through that decision until the very end. He'll always put his all into everything he does, and he doesn't care how many obstacles are thrown at him. He believes that as long he works hard, he'll overcome all obstacles and reach his goals. Once he reaches one goal, he makes up another goal to achieve. That way he can always be and strive to be the best person he can be. Sometimes he'll even overwork himself to exhaustion if that's what it takes. Also, when it comes to horror themed stuff, Changming is very timid. He doesn't know why he puts himself through that kind of stuff, but he just does. For example, if he didn't have Haru with him, he wouldn't be able to sleep by himself. When watching a horror movie, he listens to music with earphones, and watches the movie through the gaps of his fingers. Also, that same night, he'll have to cuddle something in order to be able to sleep.

Personality: An Vinh is a tomboy in most regards, from her clothing to her interests. She's very laid back and generally friendly with everyone, although some may find her hard to approach. She isn't a person whose had many friends, but rather few close ones. While she always had a harder time relating to female peers, she does have female friends - her best friend being one. Once you get to know her, she is someone who is easy to confide in due to her calm and caring nature. It doesn't take a lot to entertain/make her happy, so she's generally a good time. However, if something displeases her, she will speak up. Her greatest fault also has the possibility to double as a strength. She's very determined and knows practically no boundaries. This means she has the will to achieve and reach for the things she wants, but may also be manipulative and cross lines to do so.


Background:* An Vinh was born to two Vietnamese American parents, her father being first generation and her mother second. She grew up in a devout Catholic household and actually met her best friend, Celeste, in church -- who was also the one to coin her with the nickname 'Vinh'. They grew up together and at some point during high school, they became 'best friends with benefits' when Vinh began exploring her sexuality. Fast forwarding past some drama from her junior year onward, she left home at 19 to live in Vietnam for a year, then moved to South Korea. She's unsure if it will be her permanent home, but she's here for now. Life is a journey and she's still trying to figure hers out. Meanwhile, she still keeps in touch with Celeste.
