Age: 17

Gender: Female

Grade: 11th (Transferred to the School after completing 10th Grade)

Height: 5 feet 5 inches (65 Inches)

Weight: 130 LBS

Godly Parent: Durga

d200e5d68b0ffba3a9fb615f01d06871.png

Appearance: Catherine is a slender, yet significantly curvy redheaded girl, albeit the curvy part of her physique seems to be more down at her hips than anything else. She wears a small hourglass rather well, with her delicate and supple features giving her a hint of innocence the average person wouldn't have. She is a pale skinned young lady whose facial features makes one heavily think she usually doesn't leave the house that often. With emerald green eyes matching perfectly with her fire hot natural hair, it seems as if she was naturally designed to be some sort of beauty wherever she is from.

Personality: Catherine seems to be rather nervous and hesitant to speak to others. This is due to a deep rooted Social Anxiety involving social interaction, as well as several other issues involving this young teenage girl. She tends to be rather quiet as well, preferring to be a listener rather than a speaker. While helping people is her strong suit, she would prefer it to be 1 on 1 rather than a group of people, and even 1 on 1 she can be rather hesitant to do so. Extremely shy and timid, yet closed off and mysterious, this walking contradiction of a woman is sure to confuse people time and time again.

Background: (The Background is vague so that it doesn't reveal too much for the sake of Character Development) She is the daughter of the Secretary of State of the United States currently. She was Amanda Anderson . Her mother was known to be a believer of the Hinduism religion more than any other, and worship the concepts of Durga as if it did exist. Time and time again, this young woman did everything in her power to be able to contact Durga for one of the most selfish wishes anyone can ever ask her for. She asked for a child and for... Durga to be with her as her mother . Due to her bodily functions, she could never give birth no matter what she did. Durga saw her unyielding faith that was unrivaled by any other at this point in time, and decided to personally visit this mortal to give her what she wanted.

Due to the aspect of Durga not being capable of having children, he came in the form of a Business Man by the name of Mark Rogers. After several dates , it revealed it's identity as Para-Brahman and determined that the child would be most glorious. However, as Durga is something not bound by human concepts, it cannot bare children. So, both 'Mark' and Amanda was given a day by Durga due to his unprecedented powers and went to a adoption center. After finding the child worthy of being his, a mark was given to the daughter , and he disappeared. This mark was given to Catherine to prove she is it's vessel, and he now can finally rest. With mother's approval, she decided to go to this school ten years after being adopted and the Vessel of Durga

Abilities and Gifts:'
  • Durga's Blessing (Unaware): While she is asleep or unconscious, her wildest subconscious whims become reality. This is due to drawing upon Para-Brahman's power. However, the drawback is it cannot at all endanger or harm any living person, and cannot be used for any negative ways. The effects are reversed the moment she is awakened. Her eyes and iris glow white, making it appear she has no pupils when she is in this state, as well as her hair flaring up.
  • The Tongue / Ear of Durga: She can speak to anything [and understand the Voice of All Things] and can respond to it when utilizing the "Voice of Durga". This doesn't matter what it is, whether it's a concept or something that appears non-sentient, if she speaks to it, it becomes sentient and will assist her directly. However, she can only speak to them for a few minutes at a time due to the drain of the technique on her mortal body.
  • Senses of Durga: Due to being a Goddess of War, not only can she sense War and Oncoming conflict, she can also sense negative emotions and effortlesly sense all levels of supernatural activity.
  • Bloodlust of Durga (Unaware): If she picks up a weapon, she becomes extremely excited to fight and gains a massive amount of physical strength per post while the weapon is equiped . If she loses a weapon the effects instantly reverse.

Weapons Training: Has no experience using a weapon. However, gains intuitive intelligence upon having the Bloodlust of Durga (holding a weapon of any type).

Other: N/A

Andrita Andrita isn't making a character a reincarnated version of para-brahman akin to making a reincarnated version of the christian god considering that para-brahman is everything and absolute?

In a nutshell that's the lore of it. It's more complicated than that... That's why I decided to merely link it to a Wiki page. Actually that's highly debatable depending on interpretation.

Andrita Andrita This is an RP for Demigods/goddesses, reincarnated gods, and people made from monsters. Your character is either of those things. By all accounts, she is not the daughter of a God nor is she a incarnation of a god. She actually is God. The Para-Braham is acting through her. And this is not counting the overpowered nature of the God in question. She can effect reality itself and literally make anything a weopon at her command.

Our characters may have tremendous power but nowhere near the power your character has.

A few things to note (I do understand your problem):
  • On a technicality you could consider her the "adopted" daughter of a God , since he signed the adoption papers and has been with her since the beginning. The only reason she outright isn't a demigod... Is because Brahman cannot help make a baby in that manner due to the nature of it's existence.
  • Para-Brahman wouldn't allow her to manipulate reality to such a degree it would be ridiculous even if that was how her abilities worked. It also is only applicable while she's sleeping and cannot effect anyone or really anything outside her dream world.... And I forgot to mention a few key details : It only occurs in her dream world within her mind, and it projects what's going on within said dream world outside for those to see. Think of it as a Parallel Reality you can only see if she's asleep. None of the entities in said dream world can exit said reality, and no one can enter in. It becomes unable to be seen after she becomes awoken.

girmu girmu No problem.

PolikShadowbliss PolikShadowbliss Basically. Her abilities may evolve where maybe she can make a field of influence about a few meters all around her where her Dream World can align with the Real World momentarily in times of either severe stress or desperation... But still said warping can only occur within that field/bubble... But first she needs to be aware of this, and that may take awhile for that to happen. Or no time at all depending on what the characters say to her.

(I know it's not my place to say really, but if vessels and the like of almighty (in some views monotheistic) deities become allowed, what is stopping anyone saying they are a vessel of Allah or Jesus, or even Satan?)

(I know it's not my place to say really, but if vessels and the like of almighty (in some views monotheistic) deities become allowed, what is stopping anyone saying they are a vessel of Allah or Jesus, or even Satan?)

Yeah that's kinda what I am afraid of

Andrita Andrita
I am sorry I can't really fit it into the Pantheonverse, and due to the fact that it opens up a world of poop that I rather not deal with.

If you can stick with the Original Hindu God's Like Shiva,Vishnu, Kali, Surya and so on it would be in best interests.

AYANNA ROSE PAPHOS

  • MORTAL NAME: Ayanna Rose Paphos (you get treated less like an all powerful deity if you call yourself something humans go by).

AGE: Older than dirt apparently, but specifically the Sumerian kind of dirt (She looks to be in the late twenties however)

ALTERNATIVE NAMES: More commonly known as Aphrodite / Ishtar / Inanna, the goddess of love, fertility, beauty and a little bit of war

    TEACHING SUBJECT: History of Civilization

    HEIGHT: Five foot Eleven

    SPECIES: Goddess

WEIGHT: One hundred and forty five pounds

    ABILITIES:
Advanced Empathy-- Aya can sense and manipulate her chosen target's feelings, mood and emotional thoughts. She can also affect the emotions of a room, and of large groups of people.

Weapon Proficiency-- a thankful gift from having an aptitude for war and weaponry, Aya has an innate proficiency in most weapons (that being only older weapons that aren't post Industrial Revolution i.e swords, spears etc). Thinking about it will make her null her ability, but to wield a weapon naturally and on instinct alone, she is able to wield these weapons without trouble.

WEAPONS TRAINING: Swords, bow and arrow, spears (specifically).

Mortal Name:
Robert "Bobby" Otived

Age:
Old enough to know better.

Alternative Name(s):
Hephaestus, The Smith.

Teaching Subject:
Art, Sculpting, and Metalwork.

Height:
4'10"

Weight:
150 lbs

Species:
God

Abilities:
Divine Blacksmithing - Anything made with his hammer and anvil is imbued with magic and enchantment, being one of the Smithing Gods that may create these beautiful artefacts worn and utilised by other gods and demigods alike. If he has a liking for you, he may even give it on a whim and out of the kindness of his heart.
Fire Manipulation - Used in his forge and seen as to sway volcanoes, he presides over these realms and ensures his embers never get cold. Heated to intense temperatures that may singe the skin off a normal man.
Divine Strength - Don't underestimate the cripple's size, he'll lift mountains and shift worlds with the strength given to him by his father. It is this, which aids him in the continual pound and shaping of metal.
Living Clay - He moulds it like an extension of himself, able to give it the spirit of an artist and the finishing touch of a god to beat all worldly sculptors.

Weapons Training:
Mostly with sword and shield, he can't move well with his crippled foot and will often prefer chariot warfare or a steed.

Personality:
Hephaestus has always been known as a kind, misunderstood soul. As much as his dear and beloved wife broke his heart in her youth, he has seen her redeemed and aided in healing the divides in their relationship. Nevertheless, he can be brash and coarse in his wording; having spent time among the mortal realms, yet it is of no intimidation he desires. Whilst standing at a mere 4'10" he is humble and proud of his work, a true tradesman. His height never seemed a problem and whilst he is not a handsome, dashing mountain of a man like most, it's his character and charisma you fall in love with. The way he can be gentle in the shaping of his projects, the manner in which he makes irresistible jokes. If there is one thing he would like to think Aphrodite appreciates most, it's that he can make her laugh. Even after a long day in the forge.

e6a.png

Background:
Hephaestus was cast down from the heavens by his mother for being a cripple. Hera had wanted nothing to do with such an ugly son, discarding him into the mortal realm where the story becomes blurred. Some say Hep fell into the ocean and was raised by Thetis (mother of Achilles and one of the 50 Nereids) and the Oceanid Eurynome; others say Hephaestus, attempting to rescue his mother from Zeus' advances, was flung down from the heavens by Zeus. He fell for an entire day and landed on the island of Lemnos, where he was cared for and taught to be a master craftsman by the Sintians – an ancient tribe.

He bided his time, making things for the mortals. Gifting them homes and wares until came a time where he took revenge on his mother, enticing her into a golden throne. When they demanded her back he refused, Dionysus fetching him and returning him to Olympus before Hera was freed and Hephaestus given his own workshop below Mount Aetna. He married Aphrodite to avoid war for her hand and they suffered a marriage between Hep pining for Athena and Aphrodite hopping from bed to bed.

Only in recent times have they come to terms with their marriage and taken steps to soothe bonds, Hephaestus loving beyond a beautiful face and her, beyond his ugly. Ages turned, people began to slow their prayers and Olympus returned to its internal squabblings. It wasn't until the revival of the religions and continual parentage that Hep has given his aid once more to the humans and the half-gods. Now teaching at the school, he is a favoured teacher for the troubled teens due to his vigorous enthusiasm and mindfulness when it comes to the younger generation. His hard life has taught him many things. How to love and be loved, but mostly how to accept others at face value and celebrate difference. Be warned, nevertheless, as much as he holds patience, there is spite -- such spite that led him to capture and mock his own wife for sleeping with Ares.

Accelerate Accelerate - I hav submission

Name Comus
Age Lots Old
Height 6'1" Weight 185 lbs
Role Disciplinary Officer
Species Minor Deity
Godly Parents Dionysus and Circe
Abilities
  • Ageless, but plenty killable
  • Enhanced strength and constitution
Weapons Training
  • Has a knowledge of various ancient weapons, but most familiar with a kopis

[div class=fyuri04headerleft]Personality[/div]
[div class=fyuri04boxleft]
Comus had always been jovial and high-spirited, eager to have a drink in hand and a woman or two in his lap. It was, by all means, expected of the god of festivity and revelry. Nothing had changed his desire for those pleasures, his ability to indulge himself to the fullest extent, however, had. For nearly thirty years it had. Comus had rebelled for the first fifteen, but after multiple extensions to the duration of his punishment Comus relented. He does his duty with little enthusiasm as it feels overly cruel to make him in charge of culling wild behavior. It's made him bitter, tired, and fervently impatient with the squabbles of young mortals. Comus is a notorious hard-ass. He's quick to dole out detentions, lacking any sympathy or understanding for the snotty teenagers that show up at his desk. Though if he does it's purely reserved for the select devious few that remind Comus of the better part of himself.

Not able to properly teach a classroom and no longer trusted to handle groundskeeping, Comus was tasked with sorting out the bad lot at the academy. He typically keeps to his office, opting to hide from his responsibilities for as long as possible, and vehemently despises when the work comes to him instead. Outside of his office however, Comus can be seen with a coffee mug or thermos likely spiked with liquor, or in dire circumstances hand sanitizer, and not so subtly chasing staff tail.
[/div]

[div class=fyuri04headerright]Background[/div]
[div class=fyuri04boxright] Comus was used to the cosy life of being daddy's favorite. For a long time he served as Dionysus' cup barer and followed him wherever he went. Sometimes he was led to celebrations, sometimes he was led to battles. Comus ultimately preferred the former and would often host his own festivals that bordered on being downright cultish. Apparently, he had been known for urging people to switch clothes with the opposite gender. He had, and still has, no recollection of this, but in all fairness a majority of his life had been a dizzy blur.

His trouble started with the Moirai. Three sisters Comus had been pulling a long con on that came to an abrupt end when first and second sister had found Comus between the thighs of the third. Initially they had wanted his head; thankfully Dionysus intervened in time to coax the goddesses into accepting another form of punishment. Comus was to be bound to the island for ninety years, thirty years for each sister, and strictly forbidden from exercising excess. His sentence has since increased to two hundred and seventy-three years due to misbehavior.

Name:
Ingrid Alva Hjelmstad.
She is also known as Freyja, and many other spellings of this name. She also has many other aliases, such as Gefn, Syr, and Skjalf.
Like many of the other godly teachers, she adopted a mortal name and forum to keep a low profile amongst humans and demigods.

Age:

Her exact age is unknown, but she is presumed to be thousands of years old. She appears to be in her late twenties to early thirties.

Subject:

She teaches about the wonderful subject of nature, mostly fauna, but some flora as well. She can tell you which plants are poisonous, which are safe, amongst other things. She also teaches a class on Seidr, an old Norse form of magic. Seidr is a complex subject to grasp in itself, but generally involves manipulating one's destiny and future through gradually weaving new events into place. The Norns are other goddesses with proficiency in this type of magic. It was Freyja, or Ingrid, who first brought this magic to the other Norse gods.

Height: (ft or cm)

She stands at six feet, four inches (6'4"), making her very tall.

Weight: (lbs,kg)

She weighs about two-hundred and twenty pounds.

Species

She is a goddess.

Godly Parent: (Zeus,Ra,Odin.etc)
She was born to the gods Njord and supposedly his sister Nerthus. Njord is a god associated with wealth and the sea, and Nerthus was an early goddess of fertility in old Germanic pagan religions.

Appearance: (description or picture)

Tina%2BLouise%2Bin%2Bthe%2B1960s%2B%25283%2529.jpg

Personality: (be as detailed as possible)
She is a generally hedonistic and free person. She is always seeking pleasurable things, whether that be drinking, practicing her magic, caring for animals, or even sex. She doesn't care what others think of her; if they think she's a slut, then more power to them. It's no skin off her back. She also gets joy from teaching people things and helping them learn to love themselves. She is, overall, a rather positive source of energy that people can draw from. She is generally disappointed when people don't try in her class, and is not afraid to clap back if someone is rude or disrupts her class. She always tries to be encouraging and bright, but sometimes, some red-gold tears can be seen on her face; something she cries for Odr. She tries to hide this whenever it does happen, as it would give away her identity to mortals and would ruin her vibrant, party-girl persona. She is very insistent on students having some sort of confidence, and will even have them say compliments to themselves before entering her class in more extreme cases. She is fierce, especially in combat. She is protective of students, but especially female ones. She appreciates honesty in all of her relationships, and will work with a student if they honestly don't understand something.

Background:

She was born to Nerthus and Njord, along with her twin brother Freyr, many millennia ago. She was a daughter of the Vanir tribe of Norse gods. After the Vanir-Aesir war, she became an honourary member of the Aesir tribe, along with her brother and her parents. The gods that went to the Vanir were Hoenir and Mimir. The war was started by the Aesir after Ingrid went to Asgard with her craft of Seidr. The gods wanted her abilities and zealously sought them. They attempted to murder her three times, but she rose from the ashes each time.

She lived a relatively peaceful life in Asgard with her family. After leaving this realm of the nine worlds connected to Yggdrasil, she brought Seidr to ancient humans. From there völvas began to emerge, and much like the goddess herself, traveled in search of payment for their magical craft. The art died out after the old ways stopped being followed. Her worship, for the most part, died out until recent years. She was primarily venerated by women, and by women who wanted families.

She soon became curious with Midgard, or the human world. It was a realm she often didn't touch, except to gather the dead for her hall, Folkvangr, in Valhalla. She soon realized that the humans still knew of her and the other gods from around the world. From there, she applied to work at Pantheon Academy to educate young demigods on the old ways, nature, and Seidr.

Abilities/Gifts:

- Shapeshifting: It is a little known fact, but Ingrid does have the ability to change her appearance. Many people have seen her many different ways; from minor cosmetic changes such as a hair or eye colour change, to some more major things, such as an animal form. She has a cloak made of falcon feathers that grants her this ability. Loki is said to borrow it from time to time.
- Seidr/Magic: Already somewhat explained above, but she is what was called a völva. These were women who went from town to town in old Norse societies and did magic in exchange for things such as lodging and food.
- Natural Connection: Ingrid, like many Vanir tribe deities, has a connection with nature. She has a boar named Hildisvini, her falcon cloak, and has a chariot pulled by a pair of cats, as just a few examples.

Weapon Training:
She can use a sword, a shield, and a spear with quite a bit of proficiency.

Third and final character.

524cad8f52dcb8b44f5938adf02cf195.jpg
Name: Misty White
Age: Eighteen
Height: 5'11
Weight: 150 lbs.
Godly parent: Aphrodite

Personality: Silent most of the time, if not downright creepy. Misty is that not like most of the demigod/demigoddess of love, beauty, and sexuality, as in she doesn't really flaunt herself. As a matter of fact, she seems to be the exact oppisite of her mother and the rest of her children. She also has an obsession with blood. Don't ask.

Backstory: The offspring of an affair with an adonist surgeon and Aphrodite, she also had the case of an abstentee mother though in this case, she had the interesting event of being birthed and then chucked into the mail with a stamp and a walmart smiley sticker. This earned her the nickname "Walmart Girl" by her father, who regulantly raised her despite his busy schedule. She was always a beautiful child naturally but something must have gone wrong with her personality as she was seen a beautiful but very creepy kid. She wouldn't talk that much and her obessions drove people away. When the Messanger god came to her to take her away, her father fought him to the best of his ability until Misty decided to go to prevent further injury. And that's how she got to Pantheon Academy

Abilities

Natural glamour: Misty is already naturally beautiful, but she can choose to dull or increase her beauty at will. One minute she can be just a normal mortal woman who just happens to be pretty and the next she can be a freaking goddess. But generally she likes to dull her natural beauty, making just seem like a normal Demigoddess when in actuality her natural self is pretty much a bombshell. Naturally this is a given considering her mother but the fact that she can decide either to show it is unorthordox for a Demigoddess of Beauty.

Emotion control: A direct inheritance from her mother, Misty can control the emotions of individuals if she makes skin contact with them. Anything from lust to anger, to even downright sadness or grief. She can also implant suggestions into people's brains by whispering into their ears.

Healing: This is also yet another unorthordox power but Misty for some reason has the ability to heal others.

Blood control: She can also control blood.

Weopans: She is good at throwing knives and is profecient in several martial art forms.

"Stay and mourn at the tomb of dead Kroisos
Whom raging Ares destroyed one day, fighting in the foremost ranks."

Ares.jpg

Mortal Name:
Garrus Arkilios

Age:
Debatable

Alternative Name(s):
Ares, Enyalios, The Warmonger.

Teaching Subject:
Combat and Strategy.

Height:
6'8"

Weight:
250 lbs

Species:
God

Abilities:
Tremendous Strength - Rivalled by his half-brother Hercules and beaten twice by him, Ares is still bitter. Nevertheless, this strength aids him in battle and is hard to beat, if not only with strategy that Athena possesses -- another sibling who gave him a thrashing. He is in any case, a god of unrestrained violence and physical strength that will rival even the greatest.
Restoration - Pertaining to his being a war god, violent actions and emotions such as anger, hate, death and bloodshed make him stronger and heals any wounds he may receive as his soul is able to absorb the psychic energy created by such events.
Influence - As in the myths, he's common for putting anger and suggestions into people's heads. This causing great conflicts and the fall of Empires. Even so, he's more than a romantic, being a famous lover to many including Aphrodite herself.
Shapeshifting - It's been said that when Aphrodite fell in love with the mortal Adonis, Ares became jealous. He turned into a boar and attacked Adonis with his tusks killing him. He has three forms, being the boar that killed Adonis, a Vulture, and a Dog.

Weapons Training:
He is proficient with any weapon but favours a sword. In his time he has relentlessly trained with armouries from Greece to the Far East.

Personality:
First and foremost a god of violence and cruelty, Ares has little care when it comes to conflict. He supports no particular side, yet encourages and rewards courage of both -- which coincidentally is why he is an excellent coach for lessons. Garrus, as he is now known, does not attack unprovoked. Of all his duels, they've been a direct result of an attack on his family and unlike his father, the God despises rapists; his own daughter having suffered at the hands of one which Ares killed swiftly. Although he may be regarded as not a necessarily nice deity, Garrus is protective of his children and inherently all his offspring (whether or not Gods or Demigods) will have had some contact with him in their lifetime. A passionate fighter and lover, Ares is known for his affairs and illicit romances, being an exhilaration to bed like a breath of fresh air. He's fathered sons and daughters alike from all the Kingdoms in Greece and few outside of it, where war runs in the veins of men and women he appears and acknowledges. Ares represents the individual soldier and what it takes to survive, being a patron to human nature and it's downfalls. It is he who witnesses the worst they can offer and he alone, who regales in it.

Background:
Much like every other God, there are conflicting origins to his birth. Few saying he was a son of Zeus and Hera, or Hera's alone due to Zeus' sole conception of Athena. Even so, he has never gotten on with his sister, two sides of the same coin that agree on little. He fostered the hate for his father at a young age, Zeus being a constant reminder that he would never be a favoured son. He was war, the forever quarrel. Ares distanced himself from most, being neither well-liked for his bloodlust or appreciated in the eyes of others.

He found solace in his appreciation for the beautiful, taking on a multitude of lovers in those long centuries of entangled sheets and bloodied blades. There would never quite be a woman who captured his heart like Aphrodite who bore him six children and went on to wed Hephaestus. Something he has never forgiven Zeus for deciding, nor the blacksmith for agreeing to the union. Then, when Hep captured him in acts of infidelity the relationship worsened. He moved on to mortals and their naive ways, gave them Kings and warriors, leaders and generals. He was more than merely war but one who bestowed his bloodline freely. They would all thank him for it someday, after the throes of passion had passed.

He has seen and participated in wars since man dreamt, never finding it to be simple enough to watch. Witnessing war alter and change, he stood on battlefields of all eras and then bedded the wives of those away. Such is the way of a God. He would offer them sons they could not manage. Strong and ready for the next conflict. Again, he threw himself into the heat of it all, fighting no particular side unless persuaded -- the last time that had happened was the Trojan war, where Aphrodite persuaded him to fight with the Trojans only to suffer a loss. He has not been persuaded since. Nobody has quite had that same hold over him.

Being a teacher to the academy fills him with pride, perhaps even to meet some of his own offspring face to face. Under the guise of Garrus, it is the last thing he desires for them to rely on him. He will attend in their moments of need, never want. As a father should. But with Aphrodite and Hephaestus, not to mention Hercules on the same campus, the tension is alarmingly high whenever the Greeks manage to find themselves in a room with one another.
