Felix is laid-back and chill, caring and attentive with seemingly endless patience. It takes a lot to get him angry or rattled, but when that happens he can get pretty snippy towards his opposition. When stressed or irritated it's quite obvious, as he's not great at hiding his emotions. A musician since birth, he earns his living mostly in the studio, but is looking forward to being a student again and perhaps trying to get into the film industry after earning his music composition degree.

early life

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California to a nice upper middle class couple. Felix had a comfortable, idyllic childhood, a much loved and adored only child, though he would often wish for a sibling. At the age of 7, that wish finally came true with the arrival of his baby brother, Fred. Young Felix was always a fan of music and film, playing in garage bands through his teen years, and making silly short films with his friends and classmates with a secondhand camcorder.

later life

Felix decided to forgo college, instead moving to LA where an acquaintance hooked him up with a veritable dream job as a production assistant at Flash Studios. He also formed a band with a couple friends. They played tons of club and dive bar gigs around town, and eventually started to gain a little traction as a popular local group. That was how he met Candice. She'd come to check out the bands playing that night, and caught Felix’s eye. The two hit it off immediately.

They began dating, but it wasn't long before they would learn a surprise bundle of joy was on the way. While quite an unexpected turn of events, Felix was ecstatic to be a father. The couple was soon joined by a beautiful daughter they named Lyric, and Felix couldn't have been happier with his sweet little family. Candice quickly convinced him to move to her hometown of San Francisco, where she could be close to her family as a first time mom, and maybe even go for her undergrad degree at the local college. And while it spelled the end of his band and fun job as a PA, Felix was happy to do it for his beloved. Everything was going great.

Felix was sure he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Candice. He proposed to her a handful of times over the years, but she would always have an excuse not to accept, or insist it was bad timing for a wedding. Eventually, they broke up when she finally admitted she simply didn't want to settle down so young, and wished to experience more before she married.

even later life

While he ultimately understood her position, Felix was utterly crushed by his girlfriend's decision to leave him. It's been about a year since their split, and he's finally starting to think about moving on. And as a single father, it's high time for an actual career to support his child, over the unsteady work of a studio musician.

Felix is now embarking on a college career for the first time at 28. While it's not at all ideal that Candice, now a graduate student, is a TA at the very same school, he likes to think they're both mature enough to get through through their respective degree programs without issue. It's a big campus, after all. Hopefully big enough to mostly avoid his ex for a solid four years.
