Age

Gender
(If applicable)

(Can be generic according to its source or maybe you just want a titanic Magikarp or miniature Seviper)

Pokéball

(A small paragraph describing your Pokémon's personality as well as other information that's willing to be shared outside of so)

(Pokémon's name) Moves & Ability
Ability
(Any ability pertaining to the actual Pokémon itself, limited to one; as well as a short paragraph describing your Pokémon's ability in your own words)

Limitations
(At Least two self written detriments to the use of the ability which are of course temporary but either last for the duration of the fight or just something that's as short as a 'turn')

Memory

(This is a bit more different, and if you need help with it, ask me for help. The 'formula' for this is simple. Multiply your partner's base stats by .01 and then multiply it again by the what the form of it is in its evolutionary line. Since it's likely a first form Pokémon we'd multiply the last outcome by 1 to get the memory cap. In the case of say, a Bulbasaur whose base stats are 318, You multiply 318 by .01 to net you a number of 3.18. Multiply that number depending on the modifier for evolution stages. (1st form Pokémon = 2; 2nd form Pokémon = 2.5; 3rd form Pokémon = 3; Non-Evolving Pokémon = 2.75) and you will get your total memory)

Move List
(This is a roleplay... As such I don't expect moves to be straightforward. Have fun with your own spin on moves as your companion learns them. If you want your Flamethrower to incidentally variate off into a volley of consecutive fireball, by all means go ahead. If you want to utilize your Vine Whip to go underground and ensnare your enemies where they stand, the pleasure is yours. If you want to use Water Gun to mitigate the damage incurred from fire type attacks at the cost of making you weaker or even susceptible to electric type moves, nothing is stopping you. However, do mind how overpowered you make these variations. Last thing I need is a Fire Spin turning into a Magma Storm.)

Combat Skills
(How your Pokémon fights, and how good it is at fighting.)

Non-Combat Skills
(Is it able to repair things with anything it has at its disposal in the surrounding area? Small things that make your Pokémon quirky, cute, etc...)

General Information

Name:
Eric Forsythe

Age:
16

Gender:
Male

Height:
5'7"

Hometown:
Lavarre City

Appearance (Description and picture if possible)

Appearance description:
Eric stands at 5’7”, with pale, smooth skin. His hair is a brown so dark it looks black from afar, and his left eye is a brilliant jade green, while his right eye is a glossy, stormy gray. He often smells faintly like an early dawn in a forest, and his voice has a rough, crackling undertone to it, like if a fire could speak. Eric dresses in blacks, greens, browns, greys, whites in winter, and reds in autumn. He also has a lightweight waterproof mottled green and gray jacket he is almost always wearing.

Personality and Other
Personality:
Eric has one word to describe him. Calm. His expressions are almost always dulled, and he rarely expresses his true emotions. He relaxes constantly, and encourages others to do the same. He jokes around, and is more likely to attempt to defuse a bad situation than fight back. He's incredibly slow to anger, but if you truly make him angry? He will descend upon you with a wrath the likes of which always leave severe injuries.

Likes:
Nature, Pokemon, Sentinel, Sleep, Relaxing

Dislikes:
His deformities, Being disturbed, Steak

Hobbies/Talents:
Guitar, Woodcarving

Skills/Strengths:
Knows how to communicate orders to Pokemon through playing along to something he calls Nature's Cry.

Quirks:
None

Biography:
Eric was born with two deformities; a vocal cord deformity, and heterochromia. These never proved to be a problem, but kids tended to stay away from him at school. He was fine with it, and instead of playing video games and breaking rules, Eric spent most of his time in playing in a forest near his home in Lavarre City and learning acoustic guitar.

By the time he was 10, he had begun to learn that some Pokemon simply were filled with darkness, and injured others not for food, but for fun. Therefor, he had begun to carry around potions, in order to heal any injured Pokemon he came across. One day, Eric was playing his ukulele, when he heard a clatter, then a whimper. He followed the noise, and discovered an injured Pawniard, abandoned by its pack. Eric healed it with a potion, patted on the head, then tried to walk away. But to his surprise, the Pawniard followed him. He explored the entire forest for 2 days with it, looking for its pack. On the third day, Eric found them, and tried to get the Pawniard to go back to them. It trotted up to its leading Bisharp, communicated with it for a bit, and then walked back to Eric. The Pawniard wanted to stay with him. From that day forth the Pawniard’s name was Sentinel, and they did everything together.

Two years later, Eric was in the forest, ukulele in his lap, while Sentinel was sharpening his blades with a rock found by a river. Eric was bored, and so started to listen around him. The blowing of the wind, the cries of pokemon, the soft flowing of a nearby stream, it started to form a rhythm. He was still bored, so why not play along. Eric began to play along to the rhythm, and then noticed Sentinel started bobbing from side to side. As his focus on the song lessened, his finger slipped, and he played the wrong note. But in response, Sentinel immediately used Scratch on the air, then looked at him, as if he ordered it, and he was confused as to why. Eric got confused as well, and tried playing along to the song again, and playing that cord again, which made Sentinel dodge to the right. He then tried how far off the note was, and this made Sentinel use scratch again. Eric eventually began testing every option, until he was a master of communicating orders through music.

Hometown/Region
Pallet Town, Kanto
Appearance (Description and picture if possible)

4228-Unown-Question.png
Appearance description
Frank is 184 cm tall, and he has spiky blonde hair, along with light blue eyes. He has a muscular build due to regularly working out, giving him a quite handsome appearance. In spring, summer and autumn he wears a black t-shirt under an unzipped brown jacket with tan cargo pants and chestnut boots, along with a black cap on his head. In winter, he has his jacket zipped closed and also wears a black winter hat, a black scarf and black wool gloves.

Personality and Other
Personality
Frank is passionate about Pokémon, having played with his neighbor's Squirtle when he was a child. Even as a young adult, he is still passionate about Pokémon, and was very excited to get his first Pokémon. Frank disapproves of Pokémon being used for evil purposes, such as crime, and therefore holds a vendetta against criminal organizations such as Team Rocket. If he catches you treating your Pokémon poorly, then you've made a grave mistake, because he will do anything in his power to make you pay for doing such a thing.

Likes
Pokémon, lemonade, traveling, making friends, sausage rolls

Dislikes
People treating Pokémon poorly, betrayal, tea, coffee, potato gratin

Hobbies/Talents
In his free time, Frank likes to draw, and has drawn various pictures of landscapes, people, and of course, Pokémon.

Skills/Strengths
Due to working out regularly, Frank is very strong and athletic, and also very smart, making him a formidable tactician in and outside of Pokémon battles. He also likes to observe his surroundings before going into a situation, which adds to his formidable tactics.

Quirks
His passion for Pokémon makes him fun to be around, but can get carried away in his punishments for treating Pokémon poorly, which can lead to people having to hold him back.

Biography
Frank was born in Pallet Town in Kanto to a father named Xander and a mother named Jocelyn. Frank traveled with his parents around Kanto and a few other regions during the first years of his life due to his father Xander's Pokémon journey before eventually settling down in his birthtown of Pallet when he 6 years old. Like his father, Frank grew up loving Pokémon, playing with his neighbor's Squirtle during his childhood. During his teens, Frank discovered he liked drawing, and began practicing his drawing skills to perfection. Eventually, when Frank turned 18, he went and got a Squirtle of his own from Professor Oak. Frank named his new Squirtle Steve, and together, Frank and Steve set off on their Pokémon journey. They currently got as far as to receive the Thunder Badge from Lt. Surge at the Vermillion City Gym, but Frank is planning on getting all the Kanto Gym Badges in the future.

Nickname(s)
Steve

Age
10

Gender
Male

Height/Length
Steve is an abnormally large Squirtle (He is half the size of Frank).

Weight
Steve is an abnormally heavy Squirtle (Being half of Frank's weight.)

Pokéball
Pokéball

Steve is a tough as nails Squirtle, never backing down from a fight and having a stunning level of endurance, taking a very long time before he faints, making him a difficult opponent for most Pokémon. He's also very friendly to fellow Pokémon, not hesitating to try and make friends with them, share food or go out exploring. According to Professor Oak, Steve is also strangely not very fond of evolving, which is the reason why Professor Oak has given Steve an Everstone so he can remain a Squirtle even when he is supposed to evolve.

(Pokémon's name) Moves & Ability
Ability
Torrent: When Steve uses Torrent, any Water-type move he uses will have its power increased by 50% if he has less than or equal to ⅓ of his maximum HP remaining. As such, Steve only uses this move as a last resort, which is an uncommon thing given his high level of endurance.

Limitations
When Steve uses Torrent, his defense will drop by 20% and he will also be temporarily disoriented, causing any of his attacks while disoriented to miss, giving his opponent a chance to take him down.

Memory
6

Move List
Tackle, Tail Whip, Bubble, Withdraw

Combat Skills
Fights like a hero who will never give up: He will fight until the bitter end, no matter the challenge he's facing.

Non-Combat Skills
Has a hobby of working out like his trainer Frank.

Could use a bit more work in terms of your partner. Also a bit lacking in terms of your trainer's biography, and the memory is wrong. Should be 6.28 or 6 when rounded.

Understood. And yeah, the reason the memory's wrong is because I suck at math so badly that I can't even use a formula this simple.

"Keep your cool."

General Information

Name
Jasper Stagg

Nickname(s)
None that they care to share. Usually called by their last name.

Age
19

Gender
Nonbinary (they/them)

Height
1.72 m / 5'6"

Hometown/Region
Malie City, Ula'ula Island, Alola
Appearance (Description and picture if possible)

4228-Unown-Question.png
Appearance description
Short and willowy. Olive skin tone, hair dyed green and shaved on the sides. Heavy-lidded eyes, usually accented with dark eyeshadow. Golden irises. Long face, well-defined jawline, hawkish nose. Multiple piercings and earrings, painted nails (usually black, green or gold). Their usual style has a lot of exposed skin and fishnet, but since moving from a tropical climate to a subartic one, they're hardly ever seen without a military green heavy winter coat, besides scarves, hats, and gloves. Wears their badges on the front of the coat. Slouches a bit. Strong Alolan accent.
sstagg.png

Personality and Other
Personality
An easygoing type. Stagg is usually personable, willing to lend a helping hand and easy to be around. Very confident in themselves, physically and as a trainer. A very private person, rarely bringing emotional topics up, prefering to keep things casual. Due to their confidence, insults roll off of them like water off a Golduck's back, but for serious things, keeps grudges like nobody's business. Strong proponent of 'forgive, but don't forget'. Likes friendly and casual people, strongly dislikes what they term as tryhards. If they get the impression someone has a temper, they'll do their best to antagonize them as a roundabout lesson on trying to get them to chill out. Has an anti-authoritarian streak that mostly manifests as wandering away when someone tries to tell them what to do. Tends not to take commitments very seriously and gives up on things rather easily if they don't go their way, prefering to come back later better prepared than continuing to struggle on.

Likes
Punk music, body mods, cool tattoos, beautiful landscapes, pokémon battles, spicy food

Dislikes
Being grouped in with Team Skull, talks about feelings, bossy people, arrogant people, being cold

Hobbies/Talents
Has a large collection of audiobooks and paperbacks for reading. Loves sightseeing and beautiful natural sceneries.

Skills/Strengths
Well-prepared for exploration from previous journeys. Very experienced in battles and possessing an almost encyclopedic knowledge of pokémon, their strenghts, weaknesses, moves, and what kind of strategy an enemy fighter might be using, based on what's used in the competitive circles.

Quirks
Alola being a region where the legendaries have a strong involvement in people's lives, Stagg has a dedication to and belief in the Tapus that most people from other regions find weird. Prays to Tapu Bulu and uses a gesture of a hand with horns to ward off evil. An early bird, wakes up early and stays up late.

Biography
Born in Malie City. The third child in a family with four children, Stagg has always been surrounded by family. The oldest son, Silas, flaked out of the Island Challenge at 16 and joined Team Skull, creating a large amount of tension in the family, since Silas never missed a chance to antagonize his siblings and cherished the role of bully, being even more vitriolic with Stagg, since Silas resented them for managing to complete the Island Challenge on a first try a few years later. Stagg has never been able to defeat Silas in a pokémon battle even after having completed the Island Challenge themself. After another attempt at a duel that went sour quickly and a lot of harsh words being exchanged, Stagg left Alola, nominally to take on the Kanto League, but mostly just running away. They refuse to return to Alola until they can take on Silas and win, plunging head-on in a trainer's career.
They completed the Kanto League eventually, but their challenge of the Elite Four was unsuccessful. Not managing to summon up the nerve to return to Alola as initially promised and face the inevitable drama-filled confrontation with their brother, they continued on to Johto and then halted that League circuit halfway when the invitation to come to Kaltástand arrived after they'd claimed their third badge from the region. Deciding to put Johto on pause, Stagg left the team they won the League with - Decidueye, Incineroar, Alolan Ninetales, Heracross, Metagross, Flygon - for their younger sister in Alola to take care of and went to restart a pokémon journey with the recently hatched baby of his Decidueye.

Inventory
Tent, sleeping bag, first-aid kit, potions, antidote, phone and charger, high-calorie snacks, mess kit, water bottle, pokébeans, plenty of hand warmers for both themself and their cold-vulnerable Rowlett, paperbacks and audiobooks, rope, extra clothes.

Phanta is the daughter of Eidolon, the Decidueye with which Stagg won the Island Challenge and the Kanto League. They've been carrying their previous pokémon partner's egg around Johto and Phanta hatched very recently, while they were in Ecruteak City to challenge the gym there. The invitation to come challenge the Kaltástand League came soon after, and Stagg saw it as a great opportunity to start a journey with the young Rowlett.
Phanta is a careful pokémon, a bit too sure of herself from her notable parentage and very conscious about appearances - she cares a lot about Looking Cool. Being very vulnerable to ice and hating the cold, she spends most of her time hiding inside of Stagg's coat, bundled up in a large white scarf with sewn-in pockets, to store hand warmers or her collection of cool rocks. Most of her time was spent with the rest of Stagg's team while they ran the league circuit - all adult, fully evoved professional fighting pokémon - and as such she tries to affect a mature air and runs out of patience very quickly with other young pokémons' childish behavior.

(Pokémon's name) Moves & Ability
Ability
Long Reach. Phanta has been able to modify her attacks to keep at a distance from the target, either by using long range projectiles or with hit-and-run techniques that hit the target quickly and move away. None of her attacks make contact with the target.

Limitations
As a long-distance fighter, Phanta tends to panic when an enemy closes in too much. After being hit with a strong contact move, Phanta's speed drops and she might not listen to commands.

Memory
6

Move List
Ominous Wind, Leafage, Growl, Tackle
Combat Skills
Phanta has the pedigree and the IVs to bolster her as a fighting pokémon. A cautious fighter, she tries to keep out of harm's way and let battles drag on a little, to learn more about the opponent before moving in to attack. Being very physically strong and with good aim, she tries to go for hard-hitting precision strikes.

Non-Combat Skills
Stagg has trained her to scout around and inform them of interesting things in the area, which usually means shiny items or cool locations that catch the young Rowlett's eye. She can also be told to look for specific people or pokémon.
