Wombats Beware...
(Gonna need a bit of time to draw)
ʙᴀsɪᴄ ɪɴғᴏ:
ɴᴀᴍᴇ- Jonah Robertson
ᴀʟɪᴀs- V
ᴀɢᴇ- 22
ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ- Male
sᴇxᴜᴀʟɪᴛʏ- Bisexual
ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴇɴᴄᴇ:
sᴘᴇᴄɪᴇs- Human
ʜᴀɪʀ- Blue and bouncy
ᴇʏᴇs- Sapphire
sᴋɪɴ ᴛᴏɴᴇ/ᴄᴏʟᴏʀ- Light Brown
ʜᴇɪɢʜᴛ- 5'2"
ᴡᴇɪɢʜᴛ-105
ᴀᴛᴛɪʀᴇ- He wears track pants and a hoodie for cold environments, and switches to track pants and a t-shirt for warmer environments. (must be drawn!!)
sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟᴛɪᴇs:
ʀᴏʟᴇ- Defense, although has some Tank potential
ᴀʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇs-
- Drones: Each multi-purpose drone is fitted with a single laser pistol, a single energy shield a foot in diameter, Taser, camera, hidden microphone, and motion sensors. With the exception of the microphones and camera, every other function can only be used one at a time. They are dependent on the same power source.
- Spawn: Can release up to 5 multi-purpose iron drones.
- Hive-mind: Ability to remotely control each individual drone through a specialized bracelet.
- Remote Destruct: 'Nough said.
- Foresight: Able to sense large entities up to two meters away.
- M.M.P.R.: Bracelet capable of merging drones into a single large energy shield that spans another foot for every drone added to the shield, up to a maximum of six feet (1 foot for bracelet, 1 for each drone). Any other drone functions are disabled while in this state, and the energy shield can be broken with a large enough impact, destroying all drones used to create said shield.
- T.R.I.D.: Drones capable of mimicking scanned weapons and storing the data. Upon retrieval, the drones will fuse into a one-use version of said weapon. After usage, data is erased and that same weapon must be scanned again. Un-used data physically weights drones down.
- Limited Telekinesis: Capable of charging energy to create a shockwave capable of sending an average full-grown man up to 4 feet from their initial position.
ᴡᴇᴀᴘᴏɴs- His bracelet (armband) is capable of firing off small energy bursts powerful enough to leave burns on victims. His only other weapons are his drones. (draw this)
ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ɪᴍᴘʀᴏᴠᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ- He hand-builds each drone. They are his first weaponized inventions, and as such are prone to bugging out sometimes. All his builds were lab-tested, not field-tested.
sᴛᴏʀʏ: Jonah was a special kid growing up. Since sixth grade, he was showing signs of possessing telekinetic abilities. He could eat without touching silverware, he never carried his backpack, he didn't have bullies (he had "pet-bulls"), and he rarely had to use a computer or read a book to know the answer to tests and quizzes (because he could remotely spy on anyone he liked). He was popular in his classes because of his abilities, and was naturally an honor-roll student. Both of his parents were supportive of him, he had a few friends, and his teachers believed him to be a dream student. He got a full-ride scholarship to Harvard and was planning to be a computer engineer and live the rest of his life in comfort. Then his mother developed Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. As is the case with most cases of this disease, her decline was slow and painful to Jonah, on more than one level. The brain is the reason he had all his abilities in the first place, and that was the very organ prions attacked. At first, he thought he'd get over it and continued on his plan, but thoughts of his mother slowly started to take up room in his mind. He began researching prion diseases, and the results infuriated him. His lack of control over the disease that took his mother terrified him to the point of stunting the growth of his telekinetic abilities.
He always had control. It was only natural for him to have expected to be able to control the situation even as his mother breathed her last on the hospital bed. Before he knew it, he began obsessing over the possibility of a cure. He changed his major into a neuroscience degree and refocused himself on that ideal. He graduated in three years, his final project making small but important steps towards the cure. He theorized the possibility of using scans and lasers to seek out individual rogue proteins and individually warping them back into their proper formations. He had built a prototype drone to demonstrate. The robot was to singe the seeds from the inside of an apple, effectively removing them without actually cutting the fruit. It didn't work. The fruit was blown to pieces upon being hit with the laser, spraying the crowd of scientists in front of him with steaming chunks of juicy apple bits. He was kicked out of a rather embarrassed Harvard, but his invention gained the attention of Overwatch, and gave him some funds to repurpose his drone for use with their operatives. He was offered a chance to continue work on his project, and he humbly accepted. It didn't take him long to get cocky and ask for the chance to become an operative.
sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜs- Telekinesis and technological know-how.
ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs- Arrogant and physically weak. Drones are a thin shell of polished iron. Bullets will dent and deform the metal, and lasers will tear them to pieces.
ɪɴsᴘɪʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ- Redemption for his embarrassment at Harvard. He refuses to talk about the incident.
ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ- He likes simple things. He still has a child-like curiosity and tends to get bored easy. On the field he likes to act serious and arrogant, but he's mostly nervous. He tends to obsess over things he knows he has control over, like endlessly adjusting the utensils at his seat, fidgeting with buttons, tapping twice on a light switch before he hits it, or moving his mouse along the perimeter of the mousepad before he actually uses it. Jonah is first-and-foremost a nerd. A big one.
