Overly Dramatic High School Setting

So, I've really been missing the earlier days of Degrassi lately, and I actually got my start in roleplaying on The-n.com (R.I.P) which none of you have probably heard of, but regardless, I really want to do something different and exciting, so here's my initial idea:

• Both of us pick up quite a few characters, though they will all be played one at a time, depending on the current storyline we're using.
  
• We could do it in a sort of 'episode' format, where we focus on one character's particular dilemma for a while, then skip to 'episode two' when that one gets a little dry and we run out of ideas for it.
  
• All the characters will go to the same school and know each other of course, I'm just suggesting we play out their stories one at a time.
  
• After we've gotten through all of the storylines, we could go back through the characters and pick their stories up again, maybe a 'season two' type deal.
  
• This would require a pretty decent, detailed writer and it would probably take commitment and an intense love for drama, but I'd be really excited if you were interested. I might even marry you, so there's that.
  

I've got tons of drama and romance ideas for this because I've wanted this roleplay for as long as I can remember. I'll give just a little taste of some of the storyline characters drama's I've had in mind:

Teenage Pregnancies


Drug Addictions


Eating Disorders


Cheating


Mental Disorders


Child Abuse


Unrequited Love


Coming out of the closet

It sounds interesting, I just have 1 question: I'm by no means an "anime" dedicated rper, I never base my characters like those in animes. I just like using "anime" or drawn pictures as appearances. Is that okay?
