Xylzrilyn
"Yes, something about freedom being a right or whatever." Xylzrilyn yapped, rolling their eyes in irritation, likely due to Alevia's stubborness. "No, not everyone here is a piece of trash." They repeated, "that said, Reh'Kurzul - the Treasury Guardian, is way too timid for a Seraphim Dragon. Ah, and Kodbromaal, that huge blockhead isn't too bad of a person, just don't insult the Mage Triumvirate in front of him." In a moment's notice, Xylzrilyn had already went off in another tangent, expressing their distaste in the other inhabitants of the Sky Fortress. "And Alexiel, I seriously feel sorry for that woman. Ah - but don't be mistaken, it's not the good variant of pity."
After around ten minutes had passed, Xylrilyn had finally returned to the subject at hand. "Well, I can't make any accurate guesses at the moment, but I will assume it's over resources and land, like all these conflicts go." Then, they turned the subject toward the Underdark. "I suppose I can give you the benefit of doubt since the Drows are usually considered to be evil-aligned to some degree, but I can't exactly sympathize with whatever cause you may have. And their 'strange' looking infantry - they seem like low-level Magitechs. Perhaps you don't understand, but swords are rather ineffective. If anything, a warhammer would probably be more effective. Ah - and the low-level ones seem to have a vulnerability to lightning attacks. Messes up their insides." Taking a deep sigh, the Doppleganger finally gave relent to lecturing Alevia on whatever subject came to mind.
"In any case, Miss Paladin, I don't care for what those impotent mages intend to do with you, nor have I a single care to give about your little 'war'," they told Alevia, quite bluntly, "but that being said, I can guess what's on your mind. Paladins all think alike, I suppose." Xylzrilyn partially insulted Alevia, likely intentionally lumping her together with the absolutely shameless paladin Alexiel was, but they continued in their completely indifferent tone. "That said, however, I was specifically told to 'get the lance back, and the girl if possible. That is to say, I didn't actually need to retrieve you. What I'm trying to say is, Paladin, is if you return that lance without making a scene, I'll be more than willing to take you to Reh'Kurzul and send you home to do, well, whatever. I don't really care. The Mage Triumvirate doesn't need to know that you've been here."
