Misty Gray
Pessimisty
Earth, 2050
Ever since mutants became known to the general population in the early 2000s, tensions grew. Humans feared those with superhuman abilities with many refusing to accept them as part of society. When a group of mutant villains attacked political buildings across the United States, they triggered the gradual start of a bleak future for mutants around the World.
As technology improved, so did the Government's ability to de-power and detain mutants, as well as identify the mutants genes from birth. In 2050, mutants are locked away and tested on in prison facilities, where they are destined to spend their lives. Only a small number of mutants remain free, constantly running and hiding from the authorities.
One such mutant, a scientist and time-fixated man, remains in hiding. He obsesses himself with building a time-machine so he can travel to the past and try to warn his fellow mutants of the bleak future he's destined to suffer in. What could go wrong?
Earth, Present Day, 2007
Your characters will be either teachers or students at a mutant school in 2007. Whilst not completely unknown, mutants are still a rarity amongst the general population and generally try to keep a low profile.
The RP will begin in 2007, but the characters will soon find themselves in the less pleasant future...

This is more of an interest check at this stage and to iron out any queries or concerns before I post the character sheet. One rule I am certain of at this stage is that players cannot have characters with time-travel/control/manipulation powers. I'll be controlling time!
Characters will already be a part of the school, so I encourage you to arrange pre-existing friendships/relationships.
