I distinctly remember the tensions not being as bad since Quincy stopped permanently killing hollows..I'll read it tommorrow tbh

Well it depends on the Quincy. Some might, otherwise might not. If anything there would be some distrust between the groups. Shinigami aren't exactly the most 'secure' feeling about the Quincy where as Quincy might dislike how Shinigami treat them in general with suspicion and being watchful over them as a whole.
