Fantasy our hearts were set aflame [private]

Tristan nodded. “Fine by me.” He said. “Do you have a fake ID?” He asked as he drove. Tristan had one for himself, but if she didn’t, they may have to buy alcohol and get drunk at one of their houses.

Tristan shrugged. “Don’t worry about it. I can go into the liquor store and we can drink at one of our houses if that’s okay with you.” He said.

“Well.... we cant go to my house because my mom will kill me so... your house I guess?” She said as she looked up at him and nodded

Tristan nodded. “That’s fine.” He said. Tristan parked at the liquor store and made sure he had his fake and some cash on him. “I’ll be right back. Anything specific that you want?” He asked.

Tristan pushed her money back her way. “I’ll pay, I don’t mind.” He said. The young man walked inside and got everything the girl asked for and some stuff for himself as well. He carried it out to his car and put it all in the trunk before getting in the driver’s seat. “I’m Tristan by the way. I don’t think I ever told you my name.” He chuckled and started driving to his house. His parents were at work luckily.

“Oh... ok.” She said as he went inside and got the stuff. “I’m Katherine but I prefer to go by Kitty” she said as he drove to his house

Tristan smiled hearing her name. “Kitty.. I like that.” He said. “Tristan doesn’t have any cool nicknames with it.” The boy laughed. Once at his house, he carried the alcohol inside and out it on the kitchen table. Since his family were all vampires, they stuck close to the woods and lived in a nice house on the edge of the forest. No other houses were around, which he didn’t mind at all. The interior to the house looked just as nice as the exterior of the house. “Make yourself at home. If you need anything, let me know.” Tristan said. He poured himself some whiskey and helped Kitty with her drink as well.

“Thx my mom named me it because she said I looked like a cat when I was born and when I was little. Hmmm I will call you Tris. I like that” she said giggling. She poured herself some wine and sipped on it scowling a bit at how strong it was

Tristan smiled at Kitty’s reaction to the wine. “First time?” He asked. “I don’t judge. Everyone starts somewhere.” Tristan said. Alcohol didn’t affect vampires, so Tristan was trying to figure out whenever he should act drunk. The boy walked into the living room and turned on the TV. He put on a random movie just to have something in the background. “Have you always lived here?” Tristan asked Kitty.

“No... I just didn’t expect it to be this strong” she said as she drank some more. She sat down on the couch and looked at the TV. “I wasn’t born here but other than that yes I’ve lived here all my life. What about you?” She asked titling her head wondering why he asked and noticing that he was already almost done with his whiskey and he didn’t seem the slightest a little drunk. She pointed to his cup. “Do you drink a lot?”

Tristan shook his head to her question. “I moved here a couple years ago.” He answered. “I like it here though, especially being this close to the woods. It’s really nice being able to explore the place.” He told her. Whenever she pointed out his drink, he nodded to her question. “Kinda. My friends come over every weekend and we party. My parents aren’t home very often on the weekends.”

“Oh ok... and yea I guess it is nice to live close to the woods” she said as she went and got some vodka and soda and mixed them together and breathed the smell in

Tristan got up and poured himself more whiskey. “You seemed upset earlier that you were late for class. I’m surprised you’re okay with skipping.” He said.

“Well it is because my mom would kill me if she knew I was here but she doesn’t so...” she said as she drank it all and poured herself some more

Tristan chuckled watching her down her mixed drink. “You really want to get drunk, hm?” He asked.

Tristan smiled at her idea. "You said it, not me." He chuckled. "Whenever they get here, you tell me if they ever make you uncomfortable. I'll be there for you." He told her. Tristan texted his friends to come over and soon enough, he got a text from his mother that they would be out of town for the weekend. "Your welcome to stay the night as well if you'd like. My parents will be gone. My brother we be here after school, but he won't care who here or what we do." Tristan told Kitty.

“Okay... I cant go home drunk so I will just tell my mom that I’m staying at a friends” she says as she looks at him seeing him smiling at her

Tristan nodded. "That's fine." He said. Tristan moved some hair out of her face and watched her a bit. "You're really pretty by the way." He said.

She blushed. “T-thx. I get told that a lot but it feels different coming from u for some reason...” she said as she looked away and really looked around the house

Tristan slowly began rubbing her back as she looked around the room. "What's on your mind?" He asked her.

She flinched a little as he rubbed her back memories flooding into her head that she has tried to forget. “N-nothing I just want to get drunk” she said as she downed another drink

Tristan felt her flinch and he pulled his hand back. He watched her take another drink and momentarily bit his lip. "What's wrong?" He asked her. "You can tell me. I'll keep it a secret."
