The Kodiak is a fast Assault 'Mech combines an impressive defensive platform with surprising amounts of speed and firepower. Its massive 400-rated XL Engine propels the Kodiak to a maximum speed of 34.8 km/h, while seventeen and a half tons of Compound 12A2 gives it impressive armor protection. Though it mounts an incredible amount of firepower, even the use of twenty double heat sinks cannot prevent overheating problems when they are all fired simultaneously, though most Mech pilots learn to use their weapons sparingly and love the Mech's ability to deliver a massive knockout punch. The Kodiak incorporates the Garret L20 as its communications system and uses the RCA Instatrack Mark IX for targeting.

Though powerful, the original Kodiak lacked sufficient long-range weaponry and did not come close to mounting its full complement of armor. The Moscow Equipment Research Board tasked the technician crew within the Ural Factory with developing a variant that would resolve these setbacks. The Kodiak's primary armament consists of devastating short-range weaponry; namely the single Series II Ultra AC/20 occupying its entire right torso, and twin Streak SRM-6s situated in the left torso The new version sports 2 Type XX "Great Bow" missile launchers LRM-20, 1 Type X "Short Bow" launcher LRM-10, 1 Clan Mk. VIII ER PPC and replaces the 8 Medium Lasers with 8 series I ER Small Lasers. This version also adds jump jets to the design, allowing the 'Mech to jump over 90 meters. four above each handset into a claw-like array. The ER Medium Lasers, powered by the fusion power plant, provide hefty firepower long after the ammunition bays have run dry. While the Kodiak is a cruel opponent close up, it is far from defenseless at long-range; mounted directly beneath the engine is a Series 7k ER Large Laser, allowing it to soften up targets as it advances for the kill.

When it comes to personal attire and equipment, Aleksandr only uses his pilot's overall, standard-issue helmet and flak vest. He also only uses the standard-issue sidearm and personal defense weapon, with the hopes that he never has to leave his cockpit in the field.

Appearance:
Aleksandr stands at 6'3" which is a certainly intimidating height and while not muscle-bound, he has a lean physique that accompanies his rough bringing up.

History:
Aleksandr was born in Russia, in a small unassuming cabin deep in the Serbian woods of the untamed wilderness of Russia. His father held his child as he cried and wailed, swearing the young boys howl matched up to that of a faraway wolf in the distance. From then on out, his father prepared him for the harshness of the land he lived in. Trained as a cavalier and marksman with his father's rifle, he earned his salt by hunting in the taigas and frozen woodlands of Russia. Eventually, he would reach the age of maturity, fourteen namely, and his father would send him to the very same military academy he and all the men in his family had gone to since the fall of the Tsar. In Moscow, the young boy continued thriving in combat studies and languages, while entirely flopping in sciences and mathematics.

During his childhood, he was ambushed by a large one-eyed bear - a scourge of the woodlands - and he was gravely wounded. This resulted in his scars and partial loss of sight in one eye, though he healed quite well and most of his scarring was superficial. His later scars would come from an engagement against a battle with the Centaurions. His scars put him ahead of his class in popularity, and his strange demeanor and stories he told his classmates only further elevated his contrast, in comparison to what many shows would show you.

During his time at the academy young Aleksandr showed proficiency when it came to the study of mechanized warfare, as well as the implementation thereof. While he was no military strategist philosopher, he was a born leader and more amazing pilot, though his time saw him swiftly ascending through the ranks of more standard armor. He became a tank platoon leader during a time of relative peace before becoming an armored company commander during some of the first engagements with the Centaurions. During one such engagement, he was further wounded, resulting in his more prolific face and neck scars. After this, he put in his packet for WarMech pilot and become a pilot for a large model of Mech produced in the Ural Factories in his home country.

Since then, he has served with distinction on the Centaurion front and has specialized in frontline combat, further exemplifying himself in the expertise of heavy weapons.

Personality:

His personality his loud, boisterous, and bit overbearing. He overshares, often, whether it be his uncomfortable jokes or unnecessary comments. He has also been known to speak his mind, which usually encompasses his attempts to prove his intellectual over others around him through previous experiences and book material.​

Joseph is equipped with a Vanguard suit, a rifle tailored to excel in close-combat situations, however is still remains effective at medium ranges and is not particularly reliable at longer ranges, and a combat knife, for emergencies. The rifle is a 3 round burst-fire kinetic rifle with special munitions akin to, however a little less powerful than, a .50 caliber round, which would punch a hole through most materials at close range. Such a weapon packs quite a recoil, as such this model suit comes with inbuilt recoil dampener systems to aid the wearer in handling the kick from firing this gun. Sustained fire is possible however highly ill advised due to both the overheating of the weapon itself and the physical trauma a sustained barrage would have on the user due to the recoil. Due to the nature of being a close quarters commando, this model suit has built in systems to enhance an individual's awareness of their immediate surroundings, such as hearing and vision enhancing devices within the suit's enclosed helmet. The helmet's visor comes equipped with infrared vision and night-vision modes as well. The suit itself is relatively lightweight compared to other vanguard suit designs for the purpose of keeping its user highly agile and light on their feet so that the commandos could make a hasty retreat if an operation behind enemy lines were to go south.

History:
Joseph was born and raised in Germany where his parents, both veterans of the Terran military, owned and ran a small local restaurant in Munich. Joseph didn't receive much attention from his parents in his early childhood due to their hands being full maintaining the restaurant's operations, however that was not to say they were not caring. On special occasions, Joseph and his family would close up shop and take camping trips to the nearest mountains and forests to bond. His father even taught him how to properly to skin an animal with a combat knife that his father kept as a relic from his past service in the Terran military during one of these trips, a memory that Joseph is particularly fond of. Joseph has kept that knife with him throughout the years and to this day carries it with him as his personal emergency melee weapon of choice.

Life for Joseph and his family continued like this for a few years until his parents had to shut down their business for good in Joseph's teens. It started off as just a dip in revenues, a decrease in daily customers. However, as less and less people came to the restaurant on a daily basis, the costs of continued operation quickly surpassed the profits. With their one source of revenue now closed, his parents sought out new employment options. Joseph's mom found herself a job as a waitress at another local restaurant in Munich while his father went into the retail industry.

Once the Extinction war started, Joseph's dad once again enlisted in the Terran military in order to defend the country and planet he loved. Before being shipped off-world, he bestowed upon Joseph his old combat knife, jokingly stating that he'll have to give it back once he returned from the frontlines. He never returned and soon Joseph and his mother received news from the military: he had been killed in action. Fueled by grief and anger, Jospeh himself enrolled in the military, to the adamant protest of his now widowed mother, and took with him his father's old knife. Jospeh was trained as a commando in the Terran forces, where he specialized in sabotage and surgical strikes behind enemy lines. Joseph continues to serve in the Terran military as a commando to the present day.

Personality:
Joseph is a man who seems reserved for those who don't know him, however to his friends and comrades he is outgoing and friendly as anyone else, he'll even take you out for a drink if you let him. Don't let him drink too much though, he'll just turn into a laughing maniac that finds anything and everything funny. Unlike his drunken self, however, most of the time Joseph keeps to himself, but is not above striking up small talk or conversations here and there.​

Akali pilots a mech dubbed the White Queen, A mech built to fight wherever it's needed, that being the ground, or the sky. The mech frame itself isn't heavily armored, but has enough to protect the pilot from any light attacks. This allows the mech to be much lighter, and can maneuver around the battle field rather quickly. It's main weapon, a massive rail-gun called the Solis Mk 3, was made to allow the mech to engage in long range combat, supporting comrades from afar. It fires high power lasers that melt through whatever it hits. The white queen is also equip with a energy shield on it's right arm that can be deployed at any time. While the shield is up, the White Queen cannot use any weapons. The mech has a mid to close range single fire rifle that fires explosive rounds, and a super heated blade made for enemies who get too close to the mech.

If the white queen is defeated, it will eject the pilot out in a pod that will safely go to the ground, and has a weeks worth of food and water, as well as a standard issue pistol. Akali wears a normal pilot suit that all pilots wear while driving the White Queen.

History:
Akali is actually an orphan. She grew up on the streets, didn't know if she had any living relatives, but luckily, always had somewhere to sleep. In her community, she was like everyone's child, everyone pitching in to make sure that Akali was always alright, never really being poor per say. When Akali started her schooling, Her teachers noticed that despite being an orphan and practically homeless, her academics were remarkable. Tests that were challenging for most seemed to be easy for Akali, and eventually, the military would become interested in Akali's intellect, and with the Extinction war starting, they would need more pilots in order to fight.

The program was difficult, even for Akali. She was trained day in and day out, rarely given a day to rest. But eventually, Akali would graduate from the program, and become a official war machine pilot. She wanted to give up many times, but remembered that their were people that needed to be protected, and in order to protect them, she would need to fight. Fight for the people who helped her when she was younger.

Personality:
Akali is pretty quiet when off of the battlefield. She'd rather be by herself then celebrate with her comrades. She doesn't hate them, she's just mostly afraid of being called the "weird one". She makes the worst jokes, and also has the worst timing to drop said jokes. on the battlefield, Akali is almost a completely different person, she's very vocal, always keeping her teammates informed on where she is, where the enemy may lie, and anything else she may spot.​
