sugar is my wife and morg is the other mistress
A tall man clad in nothing but a towel sauntered down the nearly empty hall, water still dripping softly from his golden tresses. The man was a junior at Blightrest University, and notorious on campus. A bit of an outcast by nature and someone that happened to unnerve most of the student body, except for a few individuals, a key one being the man's longtime childhood friend. With one hand the student held up the towel, holding it very loosely in his fist, and with the other he read off the latest text from Greer, his phone chimed with. "Li, don't forget about our astronomy 101 assignment!! We're suppose to go out to the courtyard and write our observations on the blood moon tonight. it's suppose to start in five minutes!" Aphelion glanced at the time blinking on his phone header and smirked as he realized he had no time to get back to his dorm room and change. This would most certainly be hilarious...for him at least. Still maintaining his grip on the towel he quickly sent a poorly misspelled one handed text back to his friend, "K. no tim 2 chnge. classm8ts mite C dik. anythng 4 th e grade rite??" Having sent off his latest attempt to rile up the other, Li continued to stalk down the halls. The courtyard where the eight students where suppose to gather for their assignment, wasn't far from his dorm hall thankfully. While the Law major didn't care that much about a grade for a class that mattered little to his major or minor, a grade was still a grade and he prided himself on being a horrific person to have in class, both as a peer and as a student, while maintaining perfect grades. It was always so amusing to render people speechless in their attempts to berate him as he was simply better than them. He considered Astronomy 101 as an incredibly useless class and had in fact skipped every single session except the very first, however this was one he couldn't weasel out of. At least tonight gave him a rare opportunity to harass his seldom see classmates. The only one he knew well and got along with was Greer, the rest were faded blimps in his mind. All he knew was their reactions to him were delicious.
He arrived at the wide, expansive courtyard, minutes before the eclipse was suppose to reach it's peak. He spotted several figures scattered across the huge area, some clustered together and other's on benches or standing alone. Gleaming golden eyes aligned on a women standing off to the side near the planted garden, head titled back and hands clutched around a ragged notebook. "Greer my deer," he called out in a sing song, draping his body firmly up against her. His towel nearly came undone upon his abrupt gesture, and he noticed one student nearby blush and look away. He winked at them and then reverted his attention back to hisobsession best friend. "I do hope you haven't been waiting long, I just shudder at the thought of leaving my precious bestie all by herself on such a dark and cold night." His eyes seem to sharpen and his grin turned slightly on the edge of unhinged as he spoke. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a white haired individual he faintly remembered from the first day of class, amble in very last minute. He couldn't recall the name, but something sparked in his memory as he made eye contact with the man, both holding each other's gaze. A shiver ran through his body, holding a note of anticipation. His grin grew and he raised a hand to throw out a casual wave, a note of challenge in his body. He couldn't explain but there was just something oh so fascinating about the other, almost like a kindred spirit calling to him. Further examination was cut off as a sharp scream emitted through the air. A black haired girl from the other side of the courtyard was the source of the noise, but it swiftly cut off as the reason for her screams silenced her. A dark oozing portal appeared in front of her, swirling with a purple glow. Similar portals appeared all around, in front of each of the gathered students. The girl, thrown off by the sudden appearance stumbled in, vanishing from site. "How intriguing," he muttered aloud. Wanting to further test the interest development, he came up with a genius idea. A wonderful chance to experiment with both the newfound object and his interesting classmate. As the white haired man approached, Aphelion subtly stuck out a foot, catching on the other man's leg and sending him headfirst into the portal. "Oh no. How awful." His tone however, made it sound like that was quite the opposite of what he thought.
