By the way, I need to ask everyone something. So the first day in the rp will be used for socializing, interactions, blah blah blah. Basically a chance for relationships to start before we start getting into various story arcs. Therefore, there are no classes, or at least anything important enough to rp the entire class. So I give you two options (the one with the majority vote will win).

1. We skip the class portion entirely and when the morning bits end, timeskip to 3pm to do whatever you want.
   
2. You can rp a gen ed class (not history) but gloss over the actual learning portion.
   

So what would you like to do?

I'm also interested in how Oriens teaches its students, so I'd prefer option #2.

But option 2 doesn't have any learning, so how would you learn how they teach their students? Do you guys really want a math class where you're all ignoring the teacher? Whatever floats your boat I guess?

Hmm... thats true, but it seems like a fairly good oppurtunity to goof off a bit. Ultimately I'm fine with either option and like the idea of exploring off of school grounds as well, if thats at all possible.

Hey, can I make my character a student council member?

Exploring off campus is allowed as long as you don't isolate yourself so badly that no one else can reach you. That may make it a tad boring.


And Pyo, you can try. However, I'd need to look at your character to see if he/she/it would make a good council member. Or a funny one. I think the last treasurer we had was a kleptomaniac. Too funny to resist really. But yeah, you can apply as a student council member but whether you get accepted as one is the question.

I'd offer up Vash but I'm going to let others get first dibs. Plus not sure how Michael will handle living with Vash, given how the boy hordes food in his room, has an entire wall painted with the picture of a lamia and how he and the student council were sort of enemies a few months ago.

@Ldybug123, you'd probably be better off writing an intro post that very directly and obviously places you near one of the other characters. For the most part, simply putting down a post and hoping someone takes the bait will result in your character being ignored, as all the other characters will have already formed their own plots and groups that they usually won't try to rope others into.


Maybe you could post your character walking into the cafeteria, or the dormitories, or the training rooms, and see if you can strike up a dialogue with one of us from there?

Just checked the rooming situation and it's got Corbin starred as being unavailable for a roommate which isn't true.

I'm still offering my character up for roommateship. (I just created that word, I'm pretty proud of myself.)

By the power of Roommateship!...Yah, I can imagine many uses for such a word. If you want to room him with Corbin that'd be fine, I'd totally be up for it but if you want to room him with someone elses character that's fine too. Corbin is pretty friendly, and maybe a bit of a push over.... but he's got at least three of everything so no more worries about needing to go to the store.

If so, would you mind tagging them in the future- and maybe telling us for now? That way we all know which "scene" you're entering and there's less chance of confusion.

Just to let everyone know, we have an npc tab now. Well, we've had it for a while but I didn't put anything int here until now.


This tab will be used to house any npcs I or anyone would like to make for the world of Oriens. Maybe family members or anyone involved in your characters' pasts that you don't plan on having around for too long.


You can also create pop culture icons for the Oriens world. I already have a pop idol up and will make a boyband and perhaps a tv show soon. It's not necessary but if anyone wants to create anything for this world, you are welcome to.
