Everyone dug in and dished their food onto their plates. "Delicious."

Taking a few bites he nods, "Absolutely amazing Lynn. I'll never be able to come close to making something like this."

"Oh hush..." she blushed lightly.

 

[Zemfro]

"Its true!" he laughed and went back to eating.

She nibbled at her food. "My house is almost done."

 

[Zemfro]

"Oh? Congrats! Need help moving some furniture?" he jokes.

 

[No More Pretending]

"Oh no, I need help picking out furniture to buy," she said, smiling.

 

[Zemfro]

He nods, "Then I'll be there." he smiles.

She giggled. "I look forward to it." She stood up. "May I take your plate, dear?"

 

[Zemfro]

"Yes you may." he says handing it to her then look back at his glass to take sips from it.

She smiled and left the room, followed by her father with his and Daniel's plate.

"I'm glad she's found a good guy..."

 

[Zemfro]

If only you knew, he thought to himself while pouring himself another glass.

He smiled. "You've gotta watch out for her."

 

[Zemfro]

"Who Lynn? Of course. I wouldn't let anything bad happen to her. I promise." He nods.

"You have to swear to me that you'll never let anything happen to her."

 

[Zemfro]

He placed his hand over his heart and looks him in his eyes, "You have my word sir."

 

[No More Pretending]

He nodded slowly, serious tone dropping. "Then there's nothing else to talk about."

 

[Zemfro]

He smiled brightly, "So I passed the tests?" he joked.

 

[No More Pretending]

"We'll see..." he said with a laugh.

 

[Zemfro]

He laughed with him, "You know...call me crazy but I would think you would despise me for even looking at your daughter. Given that I'm a different color as you." he says softly. His smile was still there but his hands were on his knees, ready to run at any sign of danger in case this was an elaborate set up. Could never be too careful in this business.

"You still manage to earn a good living. You're making more money than any of us and really, you treat her like no man has treated her."

 

[Zemfro]

He nodded, "I wouldn't hurt her even if I tried. She's a wonderful woman with a lot of potential. I just hopeni can help her with some of her dreams."

"That's a great wish for her."

 

[Zemfro]

"I care for her immensely, once I get a better job I'll suppprt her even more." he nods firmly.

"Oh, do you have something else in the works?"
