Video Games Opinions on Watch Dogs 2?

Hi! So I play PS4 and games like Horizon, the Division, Ghost Recon, etc.

I am really interested in Watch Dogs 2 so I was wondering what everyone's opinions were

Played it for about 2 hours and then I was distracted by something shinier and newer.

Something about WD2 seemed... off. I'm thinking it was the underground-grunge-meets-Orwell mix that didn't quite mesh with me. The theming of WD1 was more intriguing in my opinion, with a darker dystopic feel. Setting aside the fact that the first game took place in gloomy Chicago and this game is set in sunny San Francisco, this new installment lightens things up a lot and injects more witty humor and pop-culture references. So, there is a jarring gap from the setting of its predecessor after the introductory (tutorial) mission—which had one of best background tracks I've heard in a while, so I can't be too critical of it.

Side note, why can I not insert an em dash in this editor from my keyboard? Grrrr.
