    A human of vaguely Greek descent, Cristobel is of a physique rather unfit for planetside operations. He has a big gut from poor dietary habits and a sedentary job post. Though he showers and decontaminates regularly, he still has a tendency to sweat all his cleanliness away due to the heat produced by his computer setup. Though unfit for hard jobs, he is still at the very least in shape enough to navigate across the space rig when he is needed elsewhere besides his office.

    Cristobel prides himself on being a master strategist that knows how to get teams in and out of Nurita with minimal casualties. As such, he can give sound advice and alerts with a profound sense of calm, though the eccentricities of the ground teams can test his patience. He does get frustrated when objectives go undone, or if the team lolligags for too long. When not on duty, he is an avid video gamer, taking to strategy games to keep his wits sharp.

    Excelsus is a large-than-life man with tanned skin, built like a mountain chiseled from battleship-grade armor plating.     The Scrofians (pejoratively referred to as Porkers or Space Pigs) are a mammalian species from their homeworld Scroff. Due to their thick bristles, snout, tusks and overall facial structure they are often compared to pigs from Earth, but the rest of their anatomy is quite different and they see no resemblance themselves.
    They are one of the youngest space-faring species of the galaxy and have only been known to the other races for roughly a hundred years. Soon after this discovery however, a lot of Scrofians have migrated all across the galaxy in what is known as the First Exodus, as Scroff is a heavily polluted world troubled by frequent natural disasters. The only Scrofian colony, Vlest, isn't faring much better, as mismanagment, corruption and a disastrous terraforming project drained the once water-rich world. Now, Vlest isa barren world only dotted with mines and industrial zones.

    When it comes to their government,there has never been much cohesion for the Scrofians. Many different corporations, warlords and opportunists of all kinds manage to keep unsteady control over Scroff – their power diminished by recent events. In 2567, Scrofian airspace was attacked by an Anacridic hive, forcing the entire species to fight for their survival. Only owing to Federation intervention was the hive pushed back and defeated, but with much of their fleet gone and already being a non-power, the Scrofians became de-facto vassals of the Federation. The humans dissolved the Scrofian military and fleet, causing the Second Exodus– this time of former soldiers and spacers, instead of regular civilians just seeking work on unpolluted worlds.

    Despite their small population in thegrand scheme of things, Scrofians can be found almost everywhere in the galaxy and while they are mostly known as hard-nosed mercenaries, usually one would find them doing thankless manual labour. They workin mining, agriculture and factories in small communities on Federation planets or Chünk ships. You will also find a small cornerstore owned by a Scrofian on many space stations. They are said to be undemanding of their environment and living conditions. Indeed, their fur seems to adapt to any environmental influence, becoming thicker or thinner, changing in structure – and even changing color –when necessary. This usually happens over the course of a season, but their great adaptability is undeniable. Pragmatic, direct, modest,tough and thrifty are other adjectives often attributed to the Scrofians. Most humans look down on them as folk to do the dirty workand/or dirty folk. They seem to dislike the spectacle that is part of life in the Federation, but they aren't as uncultured as they are often said to be.

    Food and drink play an important part for Scrofians everywhere and while it is true that they can digest a large variety of food, they have complex traditions when it comes to hospitality and communal dinners. Mushrooms of various kinds arehighly sought after, as is honey. Scrofians are also known to be lovers of cheese, prefering especially strong and funky flavors –and creating psychedelic variants too. Their excellent sense of smell isn't strictly tied to food and can be attributed to their large snouts. In ancient times, snout-wrestling was the common way to compete for female attention and while this particular contest has fallen out of fashion, Scrofians still value feats of strength and sports of all kinds are popular.

    Scrofian technology is outdated and now mostly reliant on older Federation scraps. Their equipment tends to be old, but still reliable, as everything has been build to be very robust and withstand the conditions on Scroff. Thanks to their larger hands and higher physical strength, most Scrofians gear feels unwieldy and plump to humans. Most Scrofians do not wear boots or shoes, as their goat-like hooves provide them with a lot ofprotection and a firm footing on difficult terrain. They consider it important to wash and maintain their hooves daily. Females tend to bea little shorter and much less bulky compared to the males. They have a higher variety in fur coloration and tend to have longer bristles. It is a common trend among Scrofians to dye the bristles around their snout, on their head and along their spine in bright colors. Some speculate this might be to imitate features of human hair, but the practice predates contact with other species.

    With thick, black fur and a massive frame, Kasimir looks intimidating even at first glance. On second glance, scars and bruises all over his snout and body become visible, where the fur has been slightly singed off. He keeps great care of his hooves and tusks, often sharpening the latter. The rest of his body isnt as well-groomed, the overall appearance is rough and plump. He usually wears a grey track suit or camo-clothing when not on mission.

    Life is very simple for Kasimir. He travels the galaxy, meets new people with a rich, exotic culture – and gets payed to kill them. The mercenary often claims to desire a boring, peaceful life running his own corner store on a far-away space station, but somehow always returns to life as a mercenary. He is very pragmatic and tends to be gruff and sarky during missions, but only because he knows that there is a dangerous job to be done. Once duty ends, he is far more relaxed and displays a dark sense of humour. He is open-minded to any sort of entertainment or company, only when it comes to his equipment does he stick to what is tried and true.

Description: Maria is simultaneously attractive & stunning, while also carrying quite the extremely terrifying presence. Bloodshot red eyes, crimson scars all across the woman's figure, not to mention, Maria's significant stature is enough to make most people run away from just a quick glance. It is usually a 50/50. Some see Maria as a sight to cherish, to take in. While others recognize the Demonic signs immediately.

Background:

Thanks to all the various unknowns, there isn't much on Maria's past to speak about. Only that, assuming there is one to start, Maria is always starting wars, large & small. As a Demon, it was natural. So many people fighting in one location also meant there were just so many souls to take. To a Demon, aside from something like slave trading, this was the most profitable line to work in. Which is why she will always remain a mercenary. By some miracle, Maria has spent zero time in a single jail cell. It's not a crime if you don't get caught.

Personality:

Blunt as it is to say, Maria is a complete sociopath. She is without conscience, unable to feel empathy & finds it even more impossible to give anyone sympathies. She views people as objects, extensions, simple tools to achieve tasks. Maria isn't going to flinch when she sees torture, mutilation, anarchy, genocide, terrorism, & anything else that makes even the most empty people at least a little weary. Maria is able to enjoy most vices, like anyone else working as a mercenary in such a cruel Galaxy. She prefers soft men & women, people she can throw across a room, assuming she feels like it. While she prefers working alone, Maria is perfectly willing/able to work alongside others, assuming the situation requires it.

Abilities:

Maria, like several Demon friends, possesses Telemancy. Brainwashing is specfically Maria's favorite. She uses these abilities to insight chaos inside people's fragile/easy to access minds. From there, she shows them no mercy, forcing them to see unimaginable nightmares. She finds it quite amusing & that it's a nice way to save ammunition.

Equipment:

Maria's equipment reflects the female Demon's personality quite well. She carries an M16 Machinegun she stole from a museum when an earthquake completely tore the place to shreds. She personally makes all the ammunition. She takes at least seven fire grenades on every single mission. Protection wise, Maria wears the unbeatable N7 equipment. Did she earn it? Absolutely not. She stole it from some unlucky female Spectre who thought Maria was a nice lady to share scotch with. Needless to say, she was wrong. Now Maria has got some unbreakable attire.​
 
    • Family legacies can be tough to live up to...
      The isolationism and individualism of Asinion society means that, unlike the Federation of Man, they tend, as a whole, not to have a lot of famous people that every Space Elf will know of. The Silverstar family is one notable exception.

      Of course, 'Silverstar' is what the Federation of Man crudely translates this well-known Asinion family name to be. A much closer translation would be 'Star Knowers', but of course they didn't think that sounded quite as cool, so they switched it up.

      Anyway, the Silverstars are a family of famous Asinion explorers. For generations, they've gone to the furthest regions of space, discovering planets and systems none of their race had ever gone to before, enriching their people's knowledge and reach.

      The undisputed greatest member of the previous Silverstar generation is August Silverstar, who ventured as far as the Galactic Core in search of the life that might be found at the center of a black hole, and instead found... you guessed it, Space Dragons.

      The Asinion being so much older and longer-lived than humans, he became, in effect, one of the very first Star Dragon Knights, setting a precedent for the bond between creature and dragon upon which the Order itself would be founded.

      August's partner, Atalana Silverstar, was another famed explorer, who bonded with a dragon herself and then left to explore the far reaches of the universe, never (at least up until this point) to be seen again. This essentially cemented the Silverstar legacy for the rest of the Asinion race, making it quite a tough act to follow for their children.

      Amara Silverstar was born nearly a full galactic cycle ago (about 200 Old Earth years). An unnaturally tough and precocious child, she eventually grew into one of the most renowned Dragon Star Knights in the 'verse until, one day, she was brutally murdered by demons, when her younger twin sisters were still aging.

      It came as a terrible shock to Qira, who had idolized her older sister more than anything, and now felt the weight of responsability- to live up to her family name and carry on her sister's legacy- fall squarely on her too-young shoulders.

    Porcilavian’s are the dominant Avian race that inhabit the planet Flurmere (Other races inhabit the oceans and non-porcilavian ideal lands.) Flurmere is a planet with an ecosystem and terrain similar to earth, but is closer in size and gravity to mars and with more extreme hills and mountains, the ratio of Flurmere’s years to Terran Standard is roughly 1 to 2.1.

    Their typical life span is roughly 100-150 Terran Standard years, with records of some porcilavians achieving over 200. Beauty, age and usefulness is what their race values, usefulness is the largest influence but age and beauty are the second and third most respectfully.

    With their skin appearing similar to that of porcelain dolls, they were dubbed Porcilavians by Humans’ upon discovery of Flurmere. However, their skin isn't actually porcelain, but the toughness is close to it in some areas. Their anatomy is extremely similar to that of a bird’s, but they’re distinctly humanlike in most aspects. Around 60-70% of the porcilavian population’s hair is the same color as their skin and feathers.


    Their skin can chip off (in pieces) in some places if the area is crushed or hit with hard enough impact. When healing, the pieces need to be placed back in order for it to be healed without there being a divot where the piece should have been. When their skin is chipped enough to bleed, the entire top layer of skin has come off. Otherwise the exposed skin is simply thinner and is a more muted pink-ish color (The pigment is also faded if the skin had a bright pigment.) Scratches are fine and easily buffed out, as long as they give their skin time to grow and thicken afterwards. If their skin is pierced enough to crack and bleed, it will leave a scar.

    It's considered impressive by their culture if your skin is unmarked (due to the harder areas scarring more easily), along with it being shiny and smooth.

    Skin color is a very wide spectrum, from bright saturated shades of color to muted grays. Their skin is softer/squishier around their joints and face. But it’s still tougher than humans' skin. Their legs are highly sensitive to rough textures, due to those parts of the body being where their skin is the hardest and most likely to get scratched. Most Porcilavians will opt to not wear shoes and will wear loose pants or a skirt/dress/robe because of the severe discomfort.

    Their top layers of skin become harder as they age and new skin grows underneath. If they were to let it grow and not scrub the old layers away when bathing, eventually they would shed the oldest layers like a snake would shed scales. But only in rare cases has it gotten to that point.


    Their wings have feathers with extremely stiff barbs that don't bend easily. And, Due to them having wings, preening is a constant routine they do everyday. It is considered a social common to have a friend preen your wings.

    Porcilavians are mainly herbivores, (there is exception for subspecies with carnivorous descent) they can eat meat but don't need to for their diet. This mainly came from the common use of biomancy to grow food faster.

    Their natural language (which is dubbed Spawn by the people who remember it) is an instinctual chirping language newspawns know but are quickly trained out of using and are instead taught the universal spoken language. Spawn is a mix of words and emotion/expression. It used to be a very in depth language, but due to most pocilavians forgetting the language and the only reason it being somewhat remembered is newspawns, the language is very bare bones and leaning towards emotional based.

    Porcilavians have only recently, within the past 300 Terrian Standard years, been introduced to space travel and have not explored far from their system. This is mostly due to them preferring to stay on their world, and being somewhat disinterested in space. Perfering to study their planets oceans instead. A few space stations exist orbiting around various planets in their system that are used for study. They would be increasingly uncommon to find the farther you go from their home planet.

    The Human arrival to Flurmere is referred to as the Day of Fallen Light and their arrival sparked the decimation of a lot of their beliefs and traditions.

    Before the human’s arrival and introduction of democracy, their government was an oligarchy based on age. The elder porcilavians would run the planet as a group, with each elder being from a certain group of towns and cities. An elder is no longer considered eligible to be in the running group if they are physically unfit to do the common job the average citizen could do. Then the position was filled by the next eligible person (from the area) that wishes to accept the position, or that the previous recommends.

    Flame is a very lanky individual. However, he has gained a surprising amount of muscle strength over the course of working with the Demolition team and adjusting to a heavier gravity. He’s very lean and nimble. He’s also developed quick reflexes and speed from life with flight. You want something transported quickly? Ask a Porcilavian.


    Most would avoid him by the way he holds his posture in an odd hunched over, and what some would interpret as crazed, way. There are crack and divot scars littering his body, but the most notable ones are the groups centered on his feet and legs along with the two trailing ones on his face. Burn scars cover most of his hands. He has noticeably large eyes to a Human’s standard, but typical for his race, they’re a deep brownish-red color that tends to bend in with his pupil. His hair is often unkempt, but he swoops it back reflexively after someone looks at him for too long. He has pale wings, and pale skin, but his hair is inky black. He’s tall even by porcilavian standards.

    He’s often wearing a button up with hemmed holes for his wings and cargo shorts, however he does own a trench coat for when it rains and steel toed boots for when he’s working.

    If you were to ask Flame to describe himself in three words, he’d reply with “I like fire”.

    Flame is a theatrical pyromaniac with little self control. He’s incredibly impulsive, recklessly so, and his impulsiveness has led him into many difficult situations. However, loyalty means the world to him and he’ll bend over backwards for the ones he respects. When he’s nervous he acts all full of himself and projects fake confidence. If you get him talking about the intricacies of fire, you better be prepared for a long ramble about how different fuel sources burn, which look the prettiest, which are most efficient, and how unique environments affect them. Music is one of his guilty pleasures, and he's often found singing or listening to music while he works or tapping out a random tune on his arms or with his feet.
