im exhausted after applications prayer circle ya'll for a job


I do personally think we should start, though this is also driven by my preference of starting the roleplay before spring term begins (read: the 13th) because after that my spectacular productivity and quality will probably be reduced. Shame but true. I do understand the downside of starting early: it will limit the kind of characters we could technically accept if they wish to say they started on day one or are traveling and just arrived a week ago. However, accommodations can be made to make sure both the player and story will not conflict, and they can start whilst we're in the middle of the roleplay. Therefore, we can still accept characters 'n all.

that's my two cents back to this irritating massive headache
 
i'm working on an opener for the roleplay, so with any luck, we'll be running fully by the end of the week!
 
so a way to mass-ping you guys without risking how tired i am screwing it up would be nice, but now that the site is back up, i was finally able to post the opener!


draco and i will be posting asap for at least one of our characters each, but check out the ic and feel free to get rolling! and ping your fellow rpers if you'd like

Unless someone wants to beat me to the punch, I'll be making posts for both my characters; Gabriel first, then Alexandra.

i'm kinda confused how we have so many NYC residents but Lindy and Gabe are the only ones who know each other....


i'll probably be posting for Ariel first, and then Lindy & Rory (the latter still needs a completed profile; i'll get that done first!)


for those of you with child characters, while there is a rule mentioning to separate your characters in posts, this doesn't apply to children! (unless they're separated from their parent)

others, I'm a little less sure of what's going on! in particular, FireFlare, rhysu, and SuperSpice - if you don't get back to us by Friday, we're going remove you.


for those of you we haven't heard from (whether it's recently, or more long-term since we started two weeks ago) if something has come up (school, work, other personal things) and you're not going to be around, or if you've lost interest, or even if you need a break from everything as a whole, just let us know! we don't mind you sticking around if you think you'll be back, but if there's no probability of return, then we need to know that you won't be here. we understand that things come up, and all we need is to know whether or not you'll be around at all - we don't need an explanation, either. offline comes first, no matter what comes up.


(if you're busy but plan on returning, we can just make a note in the members list so we know to leave you out of future pings checking on activity! no big deal, guys.)
 
Speaking of making first posts, I've been working through Gabriel and giving his last tidbits before posting. Anyone got ideas or plans where they're dropping their characters in the rp or starting at? I have no clues for Alex, though I might do typical coffee shop thing for her...

i also think i was a little too hungry when writitng for gabe rip

I'm terribly sorry dudes. Life has been particularly stressful this week and though I'll try to squeeze some posts out, I'm not sure it will happen.
 
Depending on whether or not I still feel like crap when I get home (in like 7 hours max so) I'll post, I think I'll feel fine by then though

I feel so e x h a u s  t e d. On the bright side I got into the psychology class I wanted, but on the down side I attracted some creepy dude that i'm gonna have to face in my creative writing class tomorrow. I also have a ballad to write... (laughsandcries)


I'm gonna finish reading the ic, handle the character feedback, and finish up my post for Gabriel. 


also @Smol Unicorn I think you double-posted your ic post? In one post your rp ic post is posted twice. I don't know if that was on purpose or accident, but I just wanted to note such!
 
@Miss Obsess is Liz in the same cafe as Ariel, or nah? I couldn't really tell, so I thought I'd check o:

@FireMaiden hey!! this just occurred to me while I was working on a post for Lindy and Rory - Bailey lives in Manhattan, right? but the roleplay is set in Brooklyn. is Peter Pan Bakery in Manhattan, or Brooklyn?


you said that she only had a twenty minute walk to work, so I wanted to figure out what was going on.

Okay, I just went an edited my post a little. Changed up how long it take to get there. Same with her CS
 
@FireMaiden Yo I also don't mean to ping you with questions but is the bakery open? It sounds like it's not open yet, but I'm also going off the time of 11:35-ish am. Just wanna know before I finish up my post 'tis all!
