I increased my Athletics to 5, and got a new Charm.

I raised my Dodge to 5, added a Specialty to it to help me keep from getting skewered by a thrown spear again, and added the spell Hound of the Five Winds.

I am also seriously considering learning some Necromancy from my dearest mother. There are some very nice spells in that list.

Oh no, Conrad will finally learn Sjet is the Solar he has been searching for just in time to see her whip out some necromancy and convince him she has been corrupted by her mother's dark powers!

Mommy Dearest will learn some Sorcery as well. But am not sure yet on what control spell to take. She will want to learn Sorcery mostly so she can prevent other sorcerers from completing their spells easily. Ooooh, maybe learn some spell that creates light and beauty to throw Conrad off even more :-)

Would it be possible for Conrad to help Garret with placing the stones back in their proper places? I've got Craftsman Needs No Tools, and points in carpentry, so Conrad could quickly fashion a basic scaffolding as an instant craft project to help provide a framing for Garrret to align the stones as he replaces them.

I seem to remember reading about a less impressive door nearby leading to a workshop, could be a potential source of quick scaffolding timber...

Random, if you could, what exactly is the Manse? I keep picturing a library but I'm unsure.

Ah! We had some description in earlier scenes. It does have a library, but that's only one section of a much larger structure. The manse is a building sized weapon, and the library is full of tomes and treatises related to war. When it's off, the manse is a lotus blossom over a stone structure. When activated, the lotus blossoms and the petals inside are mirrors. A crystal rises up from inside the manse and the sun's light is gathered into it and then comes out in a concentrated beam directed at whatever the current owner is particularly irate at in that moment. Before Sjet it hadn't been fired in thousands of years. Then it exploded a bit.

You're currently deep beneath the main structure, in the heart of the manse, where the island's geomancy is channelled to power the weapon. Upstairs there's a control chamber at the centre of the library in a big black sphere on top of a spiral staircase. Sjet went up there in her first scene.

What else can I tell you about it?

Perhaps Sayuri could help by stunting briefly activating her anima banner to produce sturdy vines for reinforcing the stones+framing? Or, after Garrett gets the stones in place, there's a good chance he'll appreciate some medicinal care.

Random Word would it be possible to make the craft roll using Wits, as Conrad will be jury-rigging improvised tools/resources to create the framing, or do I need to roll Intelligence?

Since it looks like you knocked out that first roll already like a pro, I'll type out a post fitting together the framing so that you can use it to assist with ensuring proper alignment. Hopefully I can get you a couple extra dice on your Perception roll, cross fingers!

Absolutely, I've been really enjoying this sort of cat-and-mouse between them! No doubt inevitably Conrad will slip up, or Droplets will be too clever, and I look forward to seeing when and how that plays out!
