The RP has slowed down, but it's far from dormant guys. All RP's have ebbs and flows; Beta Protocol has had many, and it's still here. I'll streamline things to keep some posts going, but your workloads will eventually resolve and you'll all be quite relieved and hopefully proud to see the RP you're all part of is still here for you.

As for everyone else, I have two other players interested in joining. I have afforded them 72 hours as of last night to have completed CS's ready for roleplay. This may delay team-assignment some, but if they can make a character within the allotted time, I will allow it. Besides, the pace has slowed down enough to permit this anyway.

So, another quick update! We're nearing the end of the First Arc: An Introduction to the Tower. We have two characters to wrap up: the final one to be introduced (and streamlined by me) by our newest member: clarinetti. Her character is effectively finalized and I'll probably hasten up getting her through. Then, of course, Marie needs to finish the physical exam.

The group with Chordanha is basically on its own timeline and will be leaving for De Terra shortly in the IC. I'm still waiting on a post from sitanomoto to push them along.

I have added on a "Point Calendar" to the end of the Hero Points system. My idea is to put a name and the points earned on a day in a table to keep up with the charts, then update the posts below. This is experimental; obviously, the entire system will be quite taxing on me, so bare with me as I try to make it clean.

Notably, I've also edited up the De Terra post as a location to include the necessary information provided now.

I have not done picture/coding updates as, well, I'm one person and I've not felt well, but all in all, I think I've done a fair amount.

That said, I want to explain things moving forward. Most of you that join me on the Discord get a little news ahead of time and get to interact with the others. Personally, I've found the Discord to be a great way to supplement activity, so if you get the chance, join on. We're not always active, but it's fun when it is. Obviously, we're all brought here as fans of the same thing and players of the same game, so there's gotta be plenty of common ground. To the newer players that don't know where the link is, it's on the bottom portion of the Information tab of the Hosted Project. If you still can't find it, just ask.

So, the next chapter of this RP will begin with everyone receiving messages the same way that the first few did and I will be arranging the first teams. After that, I'm going to allot a little time for everyone to interact, then we'll timeskip to the next day where I'll begin classes.

Which brings me to this next point. As I described, classes will be divided into boring classroom time then normally combat or training. This is how I intend the days to go. I will start off each day with the 'lesson of the day', basically explaining what the characters are to learn, teaching you the players what you'll need to know for the RP, then we'll transition passed lunch (I decided that while cafeteria scenes are cool, there's no point in doing them daily and you can always have more eatery scenes later) into whatever the unique lesson is for that day in combat or conditioning. This means each day is designed to feel like a class day, plain and simple, but we'll move passed that to the more fun parts of the day, either training or combat oriented stuff. And, lastly, the days will be topped off with some interaction posts for you guys before we start the next day.

Keep in mind, this is the basic outline. It won't always be monotonous, so don't worry.

I'll probably transition you directly into the teams instead of allowing free time. Also, you may want to take this time to look at the fitness testing.

clarinetti I do apologize for the slightly rushed pace, but you are the last one. lol I am literally make it part of the theme, though. I'm also making them tired of this whole routine in the narrative, so it shouldn't feel too much like rinse-repeat for you. You are notably the only one to get a taste of what Johannes can actually do, so you have that going for you.

As for everyone else, we're wrapping up. Once I get Camille here situated, I'll assign you those teams and we can get back to progressing the core plotline. I do hope you're enjoying the freeform posting, though.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are sooooo close. All of you have virtually made it through the first phase of the RP, which is really the proving grounds of skill, determination and natural chemistry.

That said, I'm somewhat ashamed of bringing in what I consider the lowest form of player interaction: a role call.

I just want an OOC post from everyone whenever they get the chance since we're so close to moving forward. Just waiting on clarinetti for the main group and I believe Epiphany for the second one.
