Side effects won't take hold until the immediate effect of the drug wares off. It's the coming down that Doc Charming is unsure about. The good part should last anywhere from 4-12 hours and then coming down off it... that's up to the GM. Personally I wouldn't but I ain't playing me, I'm playing Doc Charming, and he's a crazy motherfucker.
