Yeah having parts of yourself in your characters is good it gives you a way to connect with them. And can make them easier to write
 
Oh and also the fact that like Jack is interested in only one thing at the moment in his life, that's the biggest thing about me. All throughout my life I feel like if I was ever into something, it was like ONE thing. I'd even say it's true now. I'm really only into hockey now these days.

Back then I was only into Super Mario, and then big into like NASCAR and F1 lol.

yeah some people are like that my sister was always like that just into one thing at a time.
 
Ah, yea that's me lol. So I put that into Jack. He's played and watched hockey all his life and that's all he's into. It just makes him easier to write for me not only because it's just easy to write about a kid who is only into one thing, but because that kid was me lol. Still is me.
 
Oh heads up, I haven't posted for Ev' yet but she will be more inolved soon. Gonna have her helping out the staff with the BQQ side of things and catering - serving up food for the kids.
She may have also brought down some treats from the house (she might have in frustration from Jack gone and vented, by cooking)

Also After this one I'm gonna try and avoid any major emotional breaks from Asher for a while lol.

Sounds good to me. I figured she'd show up eventually.
 
Ok I gotta go for a little while but when I get back I'll try and get a response post up. It's a lot to read and take in so I gotta think about how I wanna respond to that.
 
Yea it's amazing. Great painting of a view from the old Nassau Coliseum (where the Islanders used to play). At least that what it looks like to me.
