I think before we try to define a place, we need to nail down a theme, no?
Are we going for a modern fantasy theme here? The RT only alluded to a general notion of Fantasy and Horror. But that can exist in a wide range of settings. So, what age/era are we looking at for the roleplay stage? Technology levels, governmental states, social integration/disintegration, etc.

What is the mix of sapient species? Are Tolkienesque races allowed? i.e. Goblins Orcs, Dwarves, Elves, etc. Or is this more understated? Is this more "Carpathian"? Meaning horrors pertaining to lycanthrope and vampiric undead. Or is this more of a whimsy fantasy with fairies and fae?

Where is magic in the fantasy? IS there magic in the fantasy?
