[OOC] Communications

@sitanomoto I got , 2 questions

1. My original question was meant to say this; do you have any specific criminals you'd like Question/Scyleia to come across or any place you'd like their investigation to lead?

2. What kind of trouble, if you don't mind my asking, and how can I capitalize on said trouble to maximize drama and intrigue

@sitanomoto @Sir Les Paul

I'll echo Hell-Jumper and add this to it: How much of the "what happens next" is up to us?  How much should we be looking to one or both or whoever to provide for us in the form of the setting reacting to us?  I don't have a ton of experience with RPs like this but generally there's been a point GM describing what happens next whenever we do something.  Is that the case here?  Or should we look to the GM(s) to provide reaction only when engaging specific characters?

Apologies for the noobish questions!

Generally, I like to keep the cities lined up within 3-5 days of each other. Right now, Gotham is +2 days on Bludhaven and Star City is actually still in its own loop (ironically). Sita and Anno know my preferences and when to ask me, so follow chain-of-command in asking them. They're in proper control of their respective cities, too.

@Sir Les Paul I don't know how often people say this to you, but thank you for all the work you and your GM's put in. You've created a universe with depth, room for character development, excitement and mystery, and most importantly, entertainment. Thank you.

I was dog tired yesterday, probably will be today, too! Just a heads up, might be Saturday before I bounce back to reply.

First week back to work sucks.

So did I, but I've found that effective leadership compromises. If it was just stylistic, I would keep it; but, the point was brought up that Night Life can strain eyes, especially for those that use default and are involved in other RP's - meaning that they leap back and forth between the bright eyes and dark blacks/grays. Because it was a practical reason, I felt it was proper to return the option.

@NecroKnight @Rui Waller has ceased communications. My suggestion would be a bit of dialogue, then have the car stop at Starling General Hospital. (I know, Star City vs Starling, but it sounds better imo). As for your character, that wasn't a threat. That was a warning. I have been known to kill, maim or otherwise disable characters in various ways for various reasons. In my Yu Yu Hakusho RP, I had a character effectively kill himself by shredding his own soul due to overuse--which he was warned about both IC and OOC. Most players prefer some type of warning to know that they are getting into dangerous territory IC that can have permanent, lasting effects. Don't take everything personally.

No worries here. I am cooled down. Both mentally and literal way. But you got to admit, this is some major character developement here.

I don't know, whether to shake hands with Waller, punch him in the face or both. He has got that Deus Ex feeling going with him at that - a simple man, and yet he has that much unforseen power behind him.

All though, here is my two cents, no offense meant - emotional characters are emotional. (We really need a rules section here)

There are like, ten Aya ships sailing right now.

So far, ours is the fastest.

What fucking how-to book did she read on Earth? --and where do I get a copy?

Jokes aside, let's tone down that physical affection gag. There are countless, active cultures on Earth and not all of them are the same. It would be one thing is she was around it and saw it more, like on TV, or in the society, but she hasn't had that exposure. Even if you're going for the Starfire vibe, I personally think you're missing the mark sometimes.

I'm going to make another sort've mini-note here. It won't be relevant for long since I'm not going to be in Star City long, but I personally find a huge focus on "ships" annoying. I'm not talking to you as a GM, I'm talking to you as a player. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes Aya is funny as Hell and perfectly inappropriate--great sense of humor. Sometimes, like that last post, it feels like it's a button being pressed a little too hard and it loses its impact. Not to mention, it's REALLY early the RP for that. There's virtually no real development for it. Basically, Aya JUST got out of the ship and met Kary. For an untrusting girl from a slave culture, she anchored herself to Kary--the first person she saw--quick. From a narrative standpoint, that's a wee bit inconsistent.

Again, and I reaaaaally want to hit this hard, this is coming from me as just a player, not a GM. I'd appreciate that toned down and slowed down just a bit.

Besides, you're in for a real nice treat once the car stops.

.3. Okay...I'll tone it down. Despite the fact that I ship it so hard it hurts.

...And isn't it obvious?

She has a copy of fifty shades.
