@Heisenberg I like your journal idea for your character. I might do that if I join another RP similar to this one. It gives you a place to record your character's thoughts, in a better way than just rambling on in a post.

Well, I got that idea when I bought a book that collects all the war diaries of different people so I figured it wouldn't hurt if I made my own.

@Samurai Jay

Sure, I'll be with you in a sec. It seems that you're lonely anyway. I was just trying to watch a video on artillery and the German Infantry Squad... and I still have to give my soldiers a short description of their personalities... but.... I guess I have to jump into the roleplay now.

Just do it on the fly in the feild, most won't live to see the end of the battle anyway. Build off the survivors

yea sorry for not posting yet jay. I just built my new pc last night and was testing it out all day today. Hammer and I were gonna post today but he got off a few hours ago and I dont think he'll be on again tonight. so I think we are gonna post tomorrow.

Well, I wished my post would have been more poetic... or something like that. But here it is.

Oh what the hell, I'm editing my post then.

Finally, my post is good to go!

well I can't seem to get hammer on tonight so im just gonna post. also, I wont be on tomorrow. Got Duty.

Lol I liked it. Also love your characters reaction to realising he is in charge of teens. Just wait to see how they act. The bad part about irregulars is they have little to no training and what they did get training in is ambushes and  sabotage so expect discipline to be low but moral to be high.

its not as good as the post before me, but hey, i finally got my first post up.

Heh, thanks. I had to revise it around 3 times before I was satisfied with it...

I checked it again and I still see a mistake...  :(

And by the way guys, I've got to cram super fast for this assignment and I have to arrive in school early tomorrow morning so I won't be able to post in here for a while. I'm sorry, but it's really urgent!

You know what? Fuck it, I'm posting anyway. I got to lay off from my work sometime anyway.

If you're wondering when I'll update Gustav's diary, I don't know when I'll update it either. But if you're curious about Gustav's character and his thoughts... then I'll sit down and work my ass off to get it done. It takes a person to specifically ask me to do something so I'll get motivated to do it.

You can select the year, the month, and the day which Gustav wrote. He started writing the diary in March 1, 1936 when he enlisted in the army and his diary entries end at July 22, 1940 because that is the present day.

For example, you want to read Gustav's story in August 25, 1937, which is the day he and the secret police worked together to break into a man's house to search for documents revealing any evidence of subversive activities.

Or you can select January 14, 1938, where he is stationed in the center of Vaasa City, where there is nothing much to do since he is on guard duty. He passes the time comparing the faces of women, and he rates them from 1 to 10.

In the year 1939, that is the year where there is many sudden mobilizations to the border and Gustav knows that war is imminent. This will detail his fighting experiences and his own perspective of the war.

The year 1940 is the present day and he is optimistic about the war so far until the Agens launched a counterattack on the town of Rouben.

So the year 1936 is his boot camp year, where is still a fresh recruit. The year 1937 is the year he is sent to hunt down subversives. The year 1938 is when subversive activities have died down and Gustav is reassigned to Vaasa City, where there is nothing much to do except read and look at women. The year 1939 is when the war starts. The year 1940 is the present time.
