I'm going to say this because it seems like you all aren't getting what's happening in the role play. My character needs to die to become my character. Everyone else running in behind him is literally running into certain death. That's an army of soldiers, headed by several steampunk Gundams with Disintegration rays. That isn't a fight you can win with sheer force of will and plot armor.

Actually, its two soldiers and an Engineer in what is essentially power armor exoskeletons. They pretty much rival an army in strength, though, what with their energy beams and missiles.
