Rather than be irritated that it was not lost and alexander who broke this news, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it's heavy stuff. I hope it's just them losing interest and making up an excuse. Like Game of thrones > rping.

We would have to retcon those two in and out of the rp, depending on if they come back. Not too hard but inconvenient
