Lol well I did try to make Percy with the intent on making him on the other side of the spectrum than Rudy.
 
Maybe it has something to do with OBH being in the middle of BIG ADVENTUREEE where Between's plot is just about to unfold.

Though I actually think they would try to kill each other xD ya know, if you left the two of them in a room long enough.

On the other hand, since I have a writers block for Between, perhaps if I post this crazy theory that randomly come to me the block will disappear

  • The children managed to defeat Etrem and went back to their world. But something went wrong during their travel and they ends up arrived in the wrong time and place.
  • Since Rudy is the most logical (and skeptical, and cynical), the crystal grant him the power to asses other's power and weakness. After the fight, Rudy was sent far into the past, and in there he found out that Etrem, who was sealed into human form, had found a way to wield both the power of light and darkness and now started the new world-conquering agenda under the name 'Inter'. Rudy ain't having any of that shit, so he decided it's time for the second-round fight and founded the organization to fight him, which one day would be known as 'The Protector'. Also, because 'Rudolph Wright' was yet to exist in that era, he use an alias 'Darius Finn'. Later he married a mysterious woman and had Percy.
  • Aria was also sent far into the past, although not as far as Rudy. In the Dreamscape, she was finally able to master her 'dream lord' power, which in real life translated to the power to control illusion. The time-traveling shenanigans also caused her to lose her memory. Later Rudy/Darius found her again and adopt her. And the green hair? Apparently Aku's hair color is contagious xD (naah, just kidding, it's more like awakening her power changed her physic to be more similar to Dreamscape inhabitant, thus her dream-like appearance).
  • Jay's stubbornness grant him the power to move earth, which is suitable, really, since the earth was almost as unyielding as his will. When he was sent back into the past, he was lucky enough to find a nice, loving family that want to adopt him. Later he also joined the Protector, but then he became corrupted by Inter and end up joining him. Oh, by the way, the family who adopt Jay is the McCor family.
  • Joey's free-spirited way grant her the power to become one with the wind. She was also sent into the past, and also lost her memory. She was adopted to another loving family, but she always knew something is missing in her life, only she didn't know what it is. This gap in her memory affected her emotional development and caused her to be emotionally stunted, which is ironic considering her fiery temper before.
  • Spencer's tendency to protect Aria grant him the power to almost literally become the guardian angel (wiiings!). But alas, when he also did end up in the past, he didn't end up in the same era as Aria. And he lost his memory too. When Aria/Sapphire approach her several years later, he felt a strong nostalgic impression about the leader, but he didn't know why. Still, that nostalgic feel made him agree to join the Protector, even though he need to leave his completely comfortable life behind.
  • Sherlock and Yori are the only children that arrived in the right timeline and had their memories intact. They were shocked to find that the other orphans were not there. It became their quest to find out what happened to their friends. Maybe one day they'll cross path with the Protectors.... maybe... :P


*snickers* I have too much fun writing this. Okay, time to write the Between reply!

I find it really amusing that someone like Rudy could ended up having a son like Percy xD about the mystery woman, I just didn't have idea who was willing to marry Rudy, so I dubbed her 'mystery woman'
