Fantasy Only Black Horses - Save The Light

Not just damage to himself.

Anything that goes through the barrier is amplified, even, for example, a sherlock throwing a punch.

Spit out a watermelon seed through it and your basically turning it into a bullet.

Hmmm, very interesting. What are the limitations? I don't suppose Sherlock could throw down barrier after barrier until he gets the specific one he's looking for? And how long do the barriers last? And how big are they? And can he make them pop up a distance away from him, like between two other characters across the map? And since HE can't choose which one pops up, how do I go about choosing so that I am not cheating by conveniently making the barrier Sherlock needs at the time pop up?

Sorry for so many questions...just wanna be sure I fully understand this before putting it into play. :/

Oh, and give an example of how the "Absorb" barrier works?

As for the barriers.

Technically he could throw one down until he gets the one he wants. But during that time he could neither get hit or it gives the enemy plenty of warning. Making it difficult to pull in a pinch.

The barrier lasts until he releases it.

I suppose right now a fair default barrier size would be about 12 foot x 12 foot.

Right now he would only be able to make them close by.

Absorb barriers are a little tricky. But right now, since he is just starting out, we will keep it simple. Basically whatever hits the barrier, stops, and all the energy of attack or force is absorbed into nothingnessas he grows, much better applications will grow from it. Same with then other barriers.

As for how you choose. That is a tough one. I know that feeling. We trust you to have fun it :) we known you won't abuse it. But if you want a way, you could either roll for it. Or ask for a vote in the OOC what it should be lol. Gives us a chance to mess with you xD

Ooops I lied. For real last question: Is the barrier stuck where Sherlock made it or is it mobile/moving with him?

ARG! So sorry but questions just keep coming to me...do the orphans new-found powers exhaust them, as in: will they become weak or tired after using their powers?

I haven't decided. I Could reason either way.

What are yournthoughts on this matter?

No worries! I love questions!

Hmmm... I don't know what cloudy has in mind for fatigue. I will ask her about it.

I do think it does tire them at some point. But all the orphans will tire less easily.

Yes. Spencer does have increased strength. He may not be as strong as an earth whisperer. But he can no at least be able to stab through one.

Not much point in given a hefty sword to a flimsy armed boy.

Well, I think that if it will tire Sherlock out: his barriers should have the capability of mobility.

However, if Sherlock won't be made tired easily by his power: than no mobility. Seems like things would be toooo easy if he could just have a shield stuck to him 24/7.

Does that make sense? Feels like I worded that very poorly...tired.

I think terras idea gives good balance. Giving sherlock the choice, and the best if both worlds. Is that okay?

Lol it tired too. Sorry about the lack of detail. I'm glad you seem interested.

Heh. Jay can't touch anyone without poisoning them. He can't be petted anymore :P

Elva has butterflies of doom!

O_o I foresee many fun and not-so-fun things that comes with it. Should I be afraid? xD

Oh yes, the power choice for the orphans is sharp.

Oh yes. You should be afraid.

I am hoping these powers will be as much of a blessing as they are a curse to the kids. Striking them below the belt and helping to promote character development.

Jay lost all huggability and lovability. No one will want to be near him as he is now.

Elva, the butterflies act as a paranoid common sense, acting in their own to keep her from harm.

Such wild powers runs great risk for Sherlock. Though he has the materials to create great things, he cannot control it.

Joey... the young girl is an epitome of youth. Yes. She is only ten... but she had always wanted to grow up. And in this world she will have to... the darkness has the potential to take her to dark places. And possibly... rob her of her innocence.

Spencer. He wants to be a leader. And he wants to protect. He now has the strength... but this strength comes with consequences. He can kill just as easily as he can protect. His choices will determine the burdens he bears.

So........ have fun! <3

I'M HAPPY YOU GUYS ARE MODERATELY HAPPY 8D

Today my summer camp starts, I will be slightly less active for the coming two weeks. But I gave you powers. You can survive. Heheh.

SPENCER IS A KNIGHT YISSSSSSS. All is right in the world.

King, pls, I read all of those and it was spectacular. :P

Holy shizzz I could just hug you guys. I'm curious how you guys came to Joey's power. I understood from her piece that it's from her being overshadowed, and also from a want of protection? I believe. From King's explanation, wanting to grow up. I'm so curious still! Tell me how you came to it, I love hearing the process of things~ <3

It was because of a simple dark thought. What can signified when a child has grown? The loss of innocence. The darkness of the world can do this. So we decided to subject her to that.

Darkness may not always be evil, but more often than not it can be sobering.

Does that make any sense? A little busy so I could describe it well.

Actually, that does! I can see the metaphor there, darkness as maturity and innocence as light. Cute~ Well done with being creative, I was quite surprised! Happily~

Thank you very much!

Me and Cloudy really hope you all have fun with these :)

There is now no more need to sit back and watch or run. You all have the ability to fight back now and defend yourselves.

And! We still have a few more surprises in store. Coming very soon.

Once everybody gets a post or two out, out will have the chance to put your powers to the test.
