I once made a system with only paper towel tubes, rubber bands, and string that would let me turn my light on and my brother's off without getting out of bed, and another one that let my brother turn my light off and his light on without getting up. I kid you not. I had to to do it that way because of how the room was made.

I attended physical therapy for far less time than I was supposed to, only because my social anxiety made me miserably to attend so I pretended to be fine after like 2 months of inconsistent appointments and now I can't run for a long period of time without my knees feeling very weak and nearly collapsing.
