Jacki stopped dead in her tracks at the command "S-sir?" She said as her would be opponent was tied up by her captain "Not the time to question orders" she thought to herself as she dashed towards the child "...Yes sir I understand" she announced as grabbed Bonnie and ran to the side of the ship about to drop her into the ocean. Then she faltered her grip on Bonnie didn't loosen at all, she sighed loudly "Sir with all due respect I can't do it, she is only 15" Jacki said as she closed her eyes "If this is what is necessary then I can't do it anymore" she continued walking over and picking her satchel of medical equipment and doctors coat "As of this moment, I hereby resign from the Marines. It was a pleasure, Julian" She said as she ran across the gangplank and onto the pirates ship still holding Bonnie

Ahab lessened the tension in his legs as he went to spring down from his upside-down perch on the mast to join his cloud-based doppelgangers. He jolted in surprise as he found himself unable to move from his position.

“Wha-“he wondered aloud.

He looked down (up) and saw that tight chords wrapped around him, tying him to the mast. Looking back up (down) he pinpointed where they came from and saw the grizzled looking winged man in the marine coat.

“Woah. That’s awesome!” Ahab exclaimed, grinning brightly.

“You were dancing around, deflecting bullets AND you can tie people up. That’s so cool! These must be super tough, are they seastone?” Ahab asked.

His grin changed to a scrutinising frown as the captain ordered his subordinate to throw the girl overboard. Ahab didn’t know why she was tied up, but her hair looked pretty wacky. If she were a devil fruit user that was basically a death sentence. He and his several doppelgangers all shot the muscly lady, Jacki, dirty looks as she walked towards the girl, some of them booing her and shaking their swords at her.
Ahab did his best to look up (down) at her as she untied the girl and carried her to the edge.

“Uhh, I feel woozy. Did she say the kid was really 15? She looks so small though,” Ahab said, looking from the captain to Jacki and the not-kid. His doppelgangers mimicked his confused expression, a few of them counting their fingers.

"If this is what is necessary then I can't do it anymore"

Ahab’s eyebrows rose in surprise, can people really turn on the marines like that? Crazy. He held out his hands (that were still tied to his side) with his palms out as he watched her run across the gangplank and onto their ship.

“Hey look, if the kids safe I don’t really have any hard feelings towards you guys. You’re just doing your job,” he said, smiling at the captain.

“Buuuuut. My captain wouldn’t be happy if you guys kept on our tail soooo I gotta do my best to keep you from following us. You understand right?” He continued.

Ahab wiggled his hands a little; the bolas weren’t budging at all. He was starting to grow concerned that his sword would fall out of its sheath. It was getting kinda painful to talk too as the blood rushed to his head, though maybe that would make him smarter?

“So, sorry in advance for the repairs. But you guys are marines, you should be alright, you’ve got three sails already you can afford to lose one,” Ahab finished.

With that his doppelgangers disappeared, returning to the mist of his clouds which began to bulge and grow on the edge of the deck. His ship, currently parked right next to the marine vessel shimmered and disappeared, replaced by the familiar expanse of the ocean; clouds, waves, it looked peaceful.
And Ahab began to grow, the bolas pulled at his shirt as his body expanded. The wood of the mast groaned as it was pressed against the taught bolas and the growing body tied to it. Ahab’s body expanded - his head growing longer and paler – as it turned to bone. His body rapidly grew, stretching upwards; his arms growing long and flat.

The groan of the wood peaked into a snap as the huge weight stretched out up the mast, the bolas were certainly strong, stronger than the wood of the mast. At the position where the bolas wrapped around it, the mast splintered and snapped. Ahab’s full transformed weight lacking his clouds fell backwards bringing the mast with it.
As he fell Ahab rapidly shifted back again, his skeletal form served its purpose as the spine of his whale slipped through as it was drawn back up towards his head. Now free of the bolas Ahab hung onto the mast as it fell, falling through the thick layer of clouds coating the deck and into the illusion surrounding the ship. To the marines the clouds were blown apart briefly as the mast fell through it before they fell back into place and the top half of the mast disappeared into the illusion of the ocean.

Ahab was now hanging from the top of the mast on the opposite side of the ship from the Dapper penguin. The marines currently couldn’t see him, but all the had to do was walk out along the mast past the illusion and he’d be in perfect firing range.

“Uhh, Jean! Could use some help here. Sly!?” Ahab called out, glancing down at the ocean churning beneath him, now as lethal to him as it was to other devil fruit users.

Sly had managed to remain discreet at the top of the Navy ship's perch by knocking out the soldier on watch. Now he was waiting for an opportunity to be able to attack his enemies in the most effective way.

He mainly relied on Ahab to give him diversions large enough to strike without the enemies noticing.

But what Ahab gave him far exceeded anything he could imagine

"The whale shape? Really?" thought Sly

The whale shape was maybe not that bad after all, from what he understood.
Apparently, the retreat sounded.
It was well worth launching an attack if it had to be stopped already ....
Haaaa .... Sly could have stayed in his corner quietly in the hold .... Bejo and Penny had been smart .... They had not pointed the tip of their noses ... Sly should have done like them .... There he would already be sleeping at the hour it is.
But now that he was there, it was too late, so it might as well be done quickly.

Holding his voice, Sly heard Ahab calling him. He tilted his head to the observation post, and saw the navigator hanging there.
"Need help?" said the thief, holding out his hand to Ahab to help him back up and go to safety.

Veronica Clark

Throw the kid overboard? Why would the Marines do something like that? Thinking about it, she deduced that the kid must of ate a Devil Fruit the Marines had been transporting. She didn't like that letting the kid drown seemed like the only option to the Marine Captain. As she ran toward the gangplank, she realized that she wasn't the only one that thought that way. The giant woman ran past her and was now on her ship.

Veronica stood between Jacki and the gangplank as she classily put on her black brass knuckles. She'd be the first line of defense if the Marine Captain tried to chance after the now-ex-Marine and the girl. She adjusted her glasses. "Everything's going to be OK, now," she softly told Bonnie as she briefly turned her body slightly to glance behind her.

She whistled loudly and clearly, signaling her crew that it was time to head back to the ship (if they had left it.)

Bejo winced as he was smacked on the back of his head, taking a few moments to recover. Penny really packed a punch! “Sorry, Penny-Onee!” He said as he ran off, still carrying the large cushion. Was he too late?! ...Dammit! The captain was already calling off everyone.

“But captain! I didn’t even have a chance to fight!” The boy whined, continuing to walk forward. But he couldn’t exactly see over the cushion- and squish. He hit someone.

“Hey, who’s there-“ He peeked out from behind his makeshift shield before letting out a small ‘eep’ of shock. Who was that?! Oh, damn. He got jelly on the couch cushion! He’d be in trouble! Wait... where did the jelly come from?

He took a few moments to scale up the woman. Quite literally. She was giant! Well, so were many people on their ship, but it still felt strange. He dropped the cushion, deciding she didn’t seem like she wanted to be a threat. “Hey, who are you? And what’s up with the weird jelly robot thing?” Was it moving? That was freaky!

so much happened so fast, Bonnie was in total shock mode, first she watched as her rescue was tied up by a bunch of weird spinny rope thingies, then she was getting thrown overboard and wasn't sure if the Doctor was really going to do it or not, then suddenly she was being carried across to the pirate ship and now the palms of her hands where stuck to a pillow that someone had squished into her while the rest of her body was securely stuck to the abs of the giant doctor lady. "wha-wha-wha-" she wanted to say what is happening, or what happened to my hands" or something to that effect but the shock of everything that was happening pretty much turned her brain to mush...or was her brain already mush? she was made of jelly. her thoughts drifted off as she went unconscious from the extremely shocking turn of events.

Julian froze, the unexpected development throwing him thoroughly off guard. In a moment of rage, he drew another bolas ready to throw at the marine traitor.

...
But then he stopped. He dropped the Bolas to the ground. In his pursuit of world peace and efficiency, had he forgotten what it meant to be a human being? "Good luck Jacki..." He said, too quietly to be heard. "HEY PIRATES! YOU HAVE UNTIL I FIX THESE ROPES TO SAIL AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN! I WOULD GET GOING IF I WERE YOU!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. What sounded like a threat was actually him just letting the pirates go.

This wasn't necessary. But maybe this was justice?

While the chaos on the top deck carried on Jean had been moving around the below deck with surprising subtlety given her size, swinging her rifle at the poor few marines that had decided to try and take refuge below the deck rather than risk above. Sure they might get accused of cowardice but if they were unconscious at least they could act like they were attacked before they tried to help. Still, those were not the reason she had come, as much as her new ship was there were still a few items it could be used that she planned on finding here.

The main targets were the captain's quarters and Navigation room, shifting through the belongings for whatever maps she and tools could find but most importantly the Den Den Mushi, not only would that be useful but would also delay reinforcements being called or reports to make command aware of what had happened. On the plus side, she even found a few surprises in several bottles of rum and other contraband that sweetened her little search all the more, her next objective was to perhaps rig a sinking but unfortunately, time was not on her side with her captain calling to fall back before she could.

Sealing her waterproof sack she leaves the same way she came to dive below the waves and come back up on the opposite side of the butler's vessel and onto the deck to drink part of her spoils.
"So...I miss anything important?" Scanning the deck for her other crewmates as they make their way from the marines "Did get us a few souvenirs, in any case, Murunfuffuffu" holding up the bag with her free hand.

Sly pulled Aham up the mast and took him from his back.
"Good! Let's go!" he said before jumping in the air, using his geppo. They would only need a few seconds to get back to the boat if the Marine soldiers did not get involved. Sly looked mainly at their captain. With his bolas, he could be annoying. He seemed to be more shocked by the strange soldier who had boarded their boat. With any luck, he had not seen them.
That would suit him. If his feet were blocked by one of his bolas, he could no longer use his geppo. He could get out of it if he fell into the sea, but he would then drag Ahab's unconscious body, which would become completely amorphous due to the water. On the other hand, if he fell on the bridge without being able to absorb his fall, it would risk hurting. Not to the point of dying, but Sly would rather avoid injury as much as possible.

"The girl has been rescued and the Marines won't be able to chase us for awhile," Veronica replied to Jean's question. She watched the Marines, just in case they decided to attack, but it looked like the Captain decided to make a threat instead of making a move against them.

With everyone back on the ship, Veronica raised the gangplank. "Ahab, sail us out of here."

After that order was given, she walked up to Jacki and Bonnie. "My name is Veronica Clark, I'm the captain of this vessel," she said to them, holding a hand out. "It looks like you two are fugitives now. What would you like to do? I could make arrangements to drop you off somewhere."

Jacki sets Bonnie down on the ground and salutes Veronica "Thank you for the help Miss." As she stood down she watched the Marine ship get smaller as they got away "Dr. Jacki Coldbrench, madam now if I may, as a fugitive and previous marine, if Julian were to tell exactly what happened in that I resigned and then stole the thief of a devil fruit, it would be useless for us to stay on one island" Jacki said in a detached tone

"So I have a proposal, in that I, if you will have me, I will work with you as a pirate" Jacki said as she put down her satchel which fell to the fall with a heavy clunk "I am a trained Doctor, so i can fix you up if you need it, I am also a decent fighter, can take blows and dish them back out" she said with a smile as she flexed one of her arms

As Bejo quickly attempted to make his escape, pushing past her with his pillowy shield but as if she'd perfectly predicted this the blonde ducked to the side and in one fluid motion she used the momentum of this to spin around, her hands firmly gripped on her giant utensil as it whacked into the back of Bejo's head, firmly sending him on his way towards the ladder back up to the main deck.
"That's what you get for stealing from me! Maybe a few more concussions and you're miraculously learn patience!" Penelope shouted after him with a huff before re holstering her spoon on the specially made holder she wore on her back, which was, of course ,in the perfect shade of bubblegum pink.

With punishment dished out she decided that it would be smart for her to join the fray as well- at least if she wanted to remain in the captain's good graces that was. So she too scaled the ladder, soon standing on deck only to find the battle rapidly winding down as Ahab's familiar clouds partially encapsulated both their ship as well as the marine's which they were pulled up against.
From the illusion however ran two (well one ran one was carried) females, one of whom was more certainly fitting of the characteristics of marines. Penelope's eyes narrowed and skeptically she walked closer, taking her spoon out once more and holding it tightly as she stood slightly behind her captain, listening to the Marine's offer.

"So I have a proposal, in that I, if you will have me, I will work with you as a pirate" The woman suggested as she dropped her bag on the deck with a thud as well as clanking from the contents within "I am a trained Doctor, so i can fix you up if you need it, I am also a decent fighter, can take blows and dish them back out" she said with a smile as she flexed one of her arms"

Penelope's nose scrunched up at that and she stepped in front of her captain, holding the spoon up threateningly towards the much taller woman, ice in her gaze.
"Sorry but i'm sure you'll understand out hesitation in accepting a fresh defector from a marine ship we just thrashed-" Penelope said before speaking over her shoulder to Veronica instead. "It's not safe to accept her Captain- I know how these types work, they'll give their word all day long but at the end of the day it's as useless as trying to plug up a rat hole with an apple dumpling."

Not encountering any obstacle on the part of the Navy to reach the pirate ship, Sly was able to land on the deck of the boat without great difficulty. Slightly losing his balance due to the excess weight caused by Ahab, he was nevertheless able to land without hurting himself.
He had been one of the few to fight. This gave him an excellent excuse to go to rest!

But one detail caught his eye. The two new people on the deck.
One was the soldier who jumped on the boat, the other was ... some kind of jelly puddle? Another devil fruit eater? When will people understand that eating something that prevents you from swimming when you are on the ocean is a bad idea?
Anyway, why would a Marine soldier go on a pirate ship? She tried to go over there to attack them but she got it too late and got stuck because of the distance between the Marine ship and the pirate ship? Unlikely...

Hearing what she said, the situation was clearer
"Dr. Jacki Coldbrench, madam now if I may, as a fugitive and previous marine, if Julian were to tell exactly what happened in that I resigned and then stole the thief of a devil fruit, it would be useless for us to stay on one island "
So, she are a deserter and a thief of devil fruit ...
And the soldier tried to protect the thief?
Now that she said it, Sly seemed to remember that the captain of the Navy had asked her to put the kid overboard. It could stick.

"So I have a proposal, in that I, if you will have me, I will work with you as a pirate. I am a trained Doctor, so i can fix you up if you need it, I am also a decent fighter, can take blows and dish them back out "she said with a smile as she flexed one of her arms"
It was daring. Was she a former Navy, and was she asking to join a pirate crew?
The idea did not please Sly too much. Although the crew did not have a doctor, they did not want it to be an old enemy ... However, ready to give his opinion, Penelope answered before him.

"Sorry but i'm sure you'll understand out hesitation in accepting a fresh defector from a marine ship we just thrashed. It's not safe to accept her Captain- I know how these types work, they'll give their word all day long but at the end of the day it's as useless as trying to plug up a rat hole with an apple dumpling. "
Not finding much to add, Sly contented himself with a "Yep, I think the same"

Ahab clutched tightly onto Sly as he was carried via geppo back to the Dapper Penguin. He was suddenly feeling anxious about his large size as Sly visibly struggled to carry him. Landing on the deck Ahab responded to his captain's demands and moved to the wheel and quickly corrected their position to get them into the wind and away from the disabled marine ship. Once they were pointed away Ahab moved to the ropes and adjusted them to fix their direction, the wind filling the sail.
He looked over as the rest of the crew confronted the two newcomers.

Wow muscle girl is a doctor, she really doesn't look it when she's punching cannonballs at them Ahab thought.

Penny didn't seem too fond of the newcomer though, Ahab hadn't seen this distrustful side before, but he didn't really care about the others' pasts so he never had reason to ask them. Sly, who had joined them after landing, spoke up in agreement with what Penny said. Ahab decided to stroll over and join them.

"Hey, I think it'll be fine. But if it's not we can just fight her, there's like... 5 of us and the captains a beast in hand to hand. Unless she stabs us in our sleep or something but I don't think she'd do that. I'd like to fight her though, if she wants, I thought we were gonna fight on the ship but the captain tied me up to the mast, which was a bit of a bummer" Ahab spoke up. He smiled down at Jacki and then crouched down to be eye level with the devil fruit girl.

"Welcome aboard, I'm Ahab the navigator of the Dapper Penguin! I'm half-fishman and half whale! This is Penny, she makes awesome food and she hits people with a spoon! Wanna go see if there are any cookies? she was making some earlier, they smelled so goooood!" Ahab exclaimed brightly to the girl. He spun around giving an expecting smile to Penny.

Bejo looked up at the big woman before smiling in relief. Perfect! Thank god she was a doctor.

“Sorry for knocking your jelly girl thing out,” he began, never one for formalities. “Since you’re a doctor, would you mind checking this out! Penny-onee hit me really hard!” He complained, pointing to the back of his neck and the new bruise.

He then glanced around at his fellow crew mates. “She can’t be that bad! She’s a doctor, and we need one of those. What’s the worst that could happen?” He gave a big smile. A lot of bad things could happen, but oh well. He’d figure that out if or when it happened.

And... now that he thought about it, he had a response to give Penny. He took off his sandal, throwing it and nailing her square in the forehead. It probably didn’t hurt too hard- it was more to heal his ego than anything. “And that’s what you get for being a jerk!” He decided, crossing his arms.

Captain Julian Bolt
Location: Marine Base Gr8
Two days after the battle. One way or another, the marines managed to make their way to Marine Base Gr8. Julian walked steadily to the commodore's office. The clacking of his feat on the ground the only noise to interrupt the pristine silence. He had thoroughly rehearsed the lie he was going to tell, and had agreed on it with his crew. He knew the commodore of this base, so he was confident he'd be able to avoid too much trouble. He swallowed nervously.

He opened the door without a creak. And took a chair. Commodore Mackerel sat opposite, smoking a cigar. Commodore Mackerel had taken the position of head of base Gr8 as a form of pseudo retirement, not that the man once known as the beast of the grandline would ever admit it. Sitting next to him was his right-hand man, Lieutenant Kigar, an annoying man who clearly wore through the commodore's patience.
Commodore Mackerel.jpg

"Good Morning Captain Bolt." spoke the Commodore.

"Sir! Good Morning!" Julian said, giving a well-rehearsed salute.

"I hope your journey wasn't too rough. I'm lead to believe it was rather... Exciting... Report"
Make no mistake. Although this conversation might seem pleasant to begin with, it is a battle. Julian brandished his lie like a sword.

"We were ambushed on route by a pirate. During the confrontation, Commander Jacki tragically fell into the ocean to an unknown fate. One pirate bore a hole in the bottom of the ship, stealing many valuables including one den den mushi, that spiced rum you gave me as a gift that gave me diarrhea... and the devil fruit we were tasked with transporting."

"What do you have to say for this crushing defeat?" Questioned Lieutenant Kigar going on the offensive, eager to berate someone of higher rank.

"I'd say they had a higher number of capable combatants including a sniper who took out most of my men, and at least one devil fruit eater whom I believe was a mythical zoan user." Julian said, shielding against Lieutenant Kigar's offensive.

Kigar grunted and was about to continue his attack, but the Commodore waved him into silence.
"For someone who just lost their right-hand commander and their mission objective, you don't seem very upset." A weak offense. Good. It seems the Commodore wasn't too upset.

"I try and separate emotions from work sir. The point is we were not properly armed to deal with the situation. More marksman and seastone weaponry would be useful."

The commodore took a deep drag of his cigar. It was clear he didn't believe Julian was being entirely honest, but it seemed that Julian had judged him right. He should be able to get out of this with just a warning, and maybe even get his crew better equipped for future situations. "Nothing you want to tell me, Julian?"

"No, sir."

"Are you sure about that... Captain?"

Julian suddenly turned at the third voice '-Huh who was tha-' Julian hadn't even seen her enter the room. "A-admirable Shirohato! Madam! What are you doing here?!!"

Admiral Shirohato didn't look like a human being. She had some sort of presence that was impossible to put a finger to. Her face was perfectly symmetrical. Her skin was unnaturally pale, like porcelain. Her long cream hair almost white. Her every moment impossibly precise and graceful. If someone didn't know better, they might think they were in the presence of an angel or saint. Hew jewelry and dress definitely played into the look too. A cruel smile played upon her lips, and a shiver passed through Julian's entire body. Admiral Shirohato had been his teacher for a little while once upon a time, and he still considered her perhaps the worst person in the entire marines. Her ideal of "Merciful Justice" was a dark mockery of conventional morality. The world government sometimes needed bad people, and Shirohato was the pinnacle of that.
download.jpg
"I had a little talk with some of your crew Captain. They told me a similar story at first... But after a little while, they told me a different story. I think you should tell the commodore again."

Julian's defense crumbled. Julian couldn't blame his crew. No sane person keep a lie up when confronted with Shirohato.

Shirohato began to walk out of the room. As she passed Julian she said something. "
Honestly... I expected... better from you Captain."

Julian fell down to his knees, paralyzed by fear. Was he going to get court-martialled? After everything he had done to move forward, was this where his journey ended? A road paved with sacrifices and nothing to show for it?

Veronica understood where some of her crew were coming from, but personally she thought that Jacki's mutiny had been genuine and they did need a doctor on their crew. "Welcome aboard, Doctor," Veronica said, accepting Jacki's offer. "Sly, Penelope, I understand your distrust, but don't let it sink the ship. If it makes you happy, you have my permission to keep a reasonable eye on her," she added, turning toward her crew.

She watched as Bejo tried to get a check-up for his neck. "You'll live Bejo," she said with a cold professionalism in her voice. "Follow me, Doctor. You may tend to the little one in my quarters." A hint of her maternal instinct (something she had learned from her own mother) echoed in her voice as she mentioned the unconscious jelly girl. In her mind it was more logical to tend to her first.

"Welcome aboard, Doctor,"
Sly understood well at the sound of these words, that Veronica accepted the ex Marine in the team. This did not surprise him. From what he had seen, the captain was the kind of person who trusted easily.

"Sly, Penelope, I understand your distrust, but don't let it sink the ship. If it makes you happy, you have my permission to keep a reasonable eye on her"
Hearing these words, Sly put her hands behind her head to support her, took a smile, saying "Ho! Don't worry, it was more advice than a clear-cut opinion. If you trust her , I'm going to do the same. And sincerely, I really don't want to waste my time watching her for nothing. "
Of course, it was wrong. Sly did not trust Jacky, and intended to watch her. But the fewer people there were aware of his intentions, the less Jacky would suspect something during his spinning.

Sly finally turned to Jacky, and said with the same smile "I'm Sly, by the way. Well ... the captain has already said it, but nothing is better than introducing myself."

Jacki nodded as she picked up Bonnie "Thank you Madam for trusting, as for those who do not trust me I understand as to why and words would be wasted trying to convince you both otherwise" Jacki said calmly her face remained unchanged "I don't remember if I've already said but I am Dr. Jacki Coldbrench, a pleasure to make your acquaintance"

Jacki looked at Bejo and forcefully bent his head forward to get a good look at the bruising before rummaging in her satchel and pulled out a tube of gel "Here, sir rub this on the bruising once a day, the discoloration and swelling should go down within a week, see me then to check up on it" She said with a smile "Ahem hello Mr.Sly a pleasure to meet you. I suppose after checking the little one in my hands and once I have a space to do so, I shall perform a routine inspection of health on all of you and you have my word as a Doctor that I shall do no harm to any of you" Jacki said placing a hand over her heart before turning to Penelope

"Madam first if you didn't have a sniper you would of had a much harder time and secondly since I am a defector from the marines, I have all the intention of showing not telling" Jacki continued on calmly "Now Captain, to your quarters then, I do have a patient to look after." Jacki said holding up Bonnie

"Seven days prior"

"STOP HIM!!!" The order rang through the sound of chaos and gunfire as blade met blade. Numerous marines charged forwards all yelling clashing in a furious battle with a band of escaped pirates lead by a tall imposing figure, the former Pirate Captain Jack "Wolfgang" Minku, and there caught up in the middle of it all stood another tall figure draped in a flamboyant style of attire. Antonio. D. Beck.. Dancing in and out between the various people around his person Antonio couldn't help but smile to himself even in his current situation. Having been sentenced to execution, the appearance of "Wolfgang" and his prison break attempt certainly came at a very continent time for Antonio. A sudden gust of air and a cry of pain to his left brought him back to reality with a jolt however. Spinning on hid heel he saw a marine charging towards him, having just swung their sword with sufficient force and speed, which in turn created a powerful pressure in the form of a compressed air blade, only just narrowly missing him. A faint smirk danced upon Antonio's lip as he raised his sword, standing in an unusual stance. His sword aiming to the ground he waited for the marine to strike first, and struck he did bringing his sword crashing down. Antonio grinned as his brought his sword up the two blades clashing with an intensity that caused the surrounding air to ripple and send out a shockwave. Antonio however didn't stop there, he carried his blade on upwards sparks flying as his spun around, his hand a blur and his sword a sudden flurry of rapid movement.

"Be careful my good sir. This rose has thorns." Stepping past the marine he swung his blade back down to his side, small splatters of blood flecks spraying on the duty ground. The marine turned looking confused before, his clothes gained rips, his body deep cuts and he crashed down to the floor. Bowing slightly with a sweep on his hat Antonio grinned before darting off heading to the ships that were by the marine base's dock. All he needed was a raft... Rushing forwards, he gripped his sword as a group of marines blocked his path. Drawing it back, he suddenly thrust it forwards, the sword taking on a dark purple sheen as immense levels of gravitational force was generated and sent toward the group, the very ground tearing up from the sheer pressure, the marines sent flying into the air. Antonio grinned once more racing ahead, his gaze fixated on a small raft bobbing in the water. Skidding to a halt he hopped down, just as a volley of gunfire slammed into the ground where he was moments before. Hitting the raft with a hard thud he quickly unfurled the sail, and used his power to sent the raft flying into the air, the small boat arcing through the sky a good twenty feet before crashing down, causing Antonio to wobble slightly. Gazing back he sighed thinking he was safe. "CRACK"

The sound of a single shot rang through the air, causing him to turn around, just as a small musket ball suddenly slammed into Antonio's chest. Looking down at the blood that was slowly seeping out of the wound Antonio sighed again shaking his head. "Ahh.. there's always something isn't there.." Slumping to his knees he sent a another burst out sending the raft on it's way far away from the island and into the sea..

"Present time"

Antonio's eyes suddenly flitted open and he sat up suddenly, a searing pain coursing through his torso. "GAAH" He clutched at his chest not expecting the sudden barrage of pain running through his body. Where was he???

THE NAVY IS HERE AND WE NEED TA KEEP EM HAPPY! WHAT WOULD YE FATHER SAY TA YA IF HE HEARD YOU WAS SLEEPING WHEN THERES A BIG FANCY NAVY SHIP TA STEAL FROM?” ...her mother. A woman so brash and loud she could only have married a pirate. Bonnie hopes out of bed and got dressed. She ran down the stares to find her mother laying on the couch. “Now dats better, go on then, bring us home something nice.” She says as Bonnie rushes out of the “house” made of peices together boat parts. She rushed down to port to see the whole tiny town working tirelessly as always to make their latest guest happy. The girl snuck into a barrel of potatoes when no one was looking and was carried aboard a ship. She slowly peaked out as the barrel was placed down and waited before jumping out and sneaking through the ship. She made it all the way to the captains quarters, since most shipmen where on shore leave and assumidly so was the captain. She rummaged through his stuff hoping to find some gold or a hint to where they keep treasure when she found a tiny chest. She opened it to find a jelly molded in the shape of a fruit. “Weird...” she picked up a note that was inside the chest. It was a research paper. “Jelly jelly no mi...blah blah blah worthless worthless worthl...hmm? Unbeatable? Nearly indestructible? Never go hungry again?.....” as she read that her stomach growled. “HEY!” Someone shouted from behind, she turned to see a nsvy officer running at her. Thinking fast she stuffed the fruit into her mouth and swallowed. She was fine for a few seconds, before she shrank down to the floor and fell unconscious...

She shot up, looking around and remembering everything that had happened, she was on a pirate ship now but that navy doctor was still here. “Am I still like a prisoner?”

Jean reclines against the deck for the meantime, giving off occasional glances to the waters to double-check they didn't need to worry about additional pursuers but most of her attention was focused on the Doctor to try and take a better measure of them as they interacted with the rest. Sure they said they were a previous marine and they were at risk, but it didn't go unnoticed that she didn't fully renounce them. Their credibility was already being questioned by other crewmates but they were the type to jump first, and she wouldn't be much of a sniper if she wasn't versed in waiting and observing before taking her own shot. So, for now, there was only the periodically predatory eye upon the doctor.

After a while, the Captain gave their approval so that was that, she wasn't 100% but she did have to go by Veronicas judgement all the same if something did come up well....she would make sure not to let it go unnoticed in either case.

"Coldbrench seems your going to be sticking around in either case since Clarks gave her 2 beli , but don't forget the guy with found in the dingy before this all kicked off, likely a bit more attention needed there than for the Jellybaby".

Veronica brought a hand up to her chin and started to ponder. That's right, they had found a wounded swordsman; How'd that manage to slip her mind?

She gave Jean a nod before turning back to the doctor. She was about to say something when the jelly kid stated to wake up. Perfect timing. "I can tend to the girl from here, there's a swordsman down below in desperate need of a doctor. Bullet wound in the chest; I've done what I could to keep him stable, but I'm a butler, not a doctor."

"No, you aren't a prisoner,"
she added, looking at Bonnie. "You can leave whenever you want, but I don't think the Marines are going to give you up so easily. If you have friends somewhere, we can drop you off, or you can join the crew like the doctor did."

Jacki's eyes widened at the news that, there was someone with a wound that had been untreated "Shit, that's not good it could already be infected" She said genuinely worried as she put on glasses and a surgical mask before picking up her satchel and rushing downstairs "Good job on stabilizing Captain" she said before disappearing downstairs. She found the man awake and in pain "Sir you need to calm down you've been shot" she said calmly as she put gloves with a snap but don't worry I'm a doctor and I'm here to help you" Before he can answer Jacki puts a rolling pin covered in rubber in his mouth "Your going to need to bite down on this cause your going to be in a lot of pain as I do this" She said calmly as as she pulled out long thin tweezers and begins to go into the bullet hole trying to fish it out of him

Antonio sighed, his gaze running around the room he was in. His eyes fell upon his sword and he smiled. At least he still had that. He slowly began to remember what had happened to himself. Yes.. he managed to escape from "that" place and then.. He looked down at the small hole in his chest and nodded. Ah yes he'd been shot, quite unexpectedly, who ever got him certainly was a good sniper seeing how the distance was rather vast when the shot was fired. He ran a finger slowly and delicately around the wound grimacing. The bullet was still in there. He was about to sort it himself when his focus suddenly shifted to the door. He could hear footsteps, ones that were rapidly approaching and seemingly coming this way. He sat up further bracing himself before someone suddenly barged into the room. His eyes slowly adjusted and took in the persons appearance. He was somewhat surprised on the fact that whoever they were, they seemed to nearly rival him in his height. What was even more surprising was it seemed to be a woman. A surgical mask sat upon their face, showing they must of been a doctor.

Antonio cocked his head to the side and smiled slightly at his hunch was confirmed. He was about to speak but he suddenly found a rolling pin covered in rubber shoved into his mouth. His eyes widened slightly as the person pulled out a pair of long thin tweezers. He winced and grimaced as they suddenly went into the bullet hole in his chest. He curled his hand into a fist and shook his head. Grabbing the rolling pin with his other he pulled it out from his mouth and looked to the doctor. Placing his other hand on their shoulder he smiled. "My good lady, that is quite unneeded. I can remove the bullet myself much quicker and in a slightly less painful fashion."
