Gotta admit, nooot the best of situations to be in right now. Not once, but twice now he'd been forced to evade around the law by hiding himself away. This . . irritated Yuichi. He didn't like hiding from people, much less showing any form of cowardice in the face of his supposed opposition. In any case, breaking down and taking in what had happened previously over the course of his time on the island, he also came to realize that he truly didn't have a choice in the matter. Were he to go out and try to challenge every single Marine out there at once, he was more than certain death would follow. Well, death might be a bit of a stretch, but in the mind of the mentally deranged (i.e.; Yuichi), this was pretty much something similar to a life-or-death situation. The only thing he could do now was wait. Wait for the right opportunity to escape, and evade capture once more.
And that's exactly what he did for the duration of the time he spent inside of the crate. For the first time in what was a very long time, Yuichi had sat still patiently and waited, the only sounds the young man picking up was the ones he'd normally hear right about now. The muffled and dulled voices of the Marines carrying out their tasks of checking the barrels and crates out for any stowaways that could be trying to escape, the sound of their dirtied boots crackling against the sand as they walked around the docks, and the . . sound of secondary movement? With his ears quirking upwards slightly, his head would lift up slightly as an unfamiliar sound now filled them, peaking his interest and curiosity as the semi-short man now went from sitting on his ass to now moving up onto his right knee. There was someone else hiding away inside of these crates besides himself. Lifting the cover of the crate, he'd crack it just enough to where he could see from the outside, but make it small enough of an opening to where no one would notice it at first glance, his eyes now scanning around the area.
