Hatchet
Blunt and Sharp
(I would like to assert this character over Shou and withdraw my application of her)
Name: Farrago War
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Faction: Marine
Crew: SS Pax Destruido
Job/Status: Rear Admiral
Devil Fruit: Pan Pan no Mi (Bread Bread Fruit) Logia. This fruit allows him to create, manipulate and turn into sticky bread dough, which works marginally as a weapon but is most effective as a smothering or trapping substance.
Appearance: Average height, Farrago is lean, deceptively so and very agile; blond hair to his shoulders is kept neat and pulled back with a black ribbon, his uniform is always in as good condition as he can keep it, more for respect of what it represents than snobbishness. Pale gold, almond shaped eyes stand out in a pale face, he's frequently seen with a blunt but almost never caught smoking one. Though he carries a pistol due to his rank, he's more often to reach for a sling, something he's used since childhood and is very proficient with.
Personality: Farrago is playful, observant and eager to please, with a fierce desire to uphold the law, a determined optimism in the face of despair and a natural inclination towards nurturing, which earned him a lot of scorn in his early years in the marines. While he obeys his superiors, if he disagrees, he may voice his concerns, but only ever to the person of his direct concerns.
History: Raised in a tiny village where the government has little sway at all, with parents who spent more time drunk than working or taking care of their multiple children, Farrago was alone most of the time to avoid being bullied by his older siblings, foraging for his own food and having little sense of right and wrong. When he was nine he was accused of stealing valuables from the village headman, but was saved from the automatic punishment by a ship of marines who had docked in the harbor on accident. They forced a proper trial and introduced justice to little Farrago. He begged the Captain to take him on, and the man, missing his own son, obliged, making him a Chore Boy.
Through his dedication and obedience he rose to the rank of First Class Seaman, but when he was given a Devil Fruit to guard on a mission, he was ordered to consume it himself if there was a danger of it falling into pirate hands. By the end of that mission he was given field promotion to Lieutenant for exemplary service at age 23. Since then he has climbed to Rear Admiral, though advancement has never been his ambition.
