The sky was clear a blue, it was as if the birds were singing in joy as Haru sat on the docks edge. With her long beige hair flowing in the wind, Haru's golden orbs stared out into the sea. She was finally free! Free to leave this dreaded island, free to leave those that oppressed her. She could finally go out to sea and find him. She frowned as she tried to remember his name, how could she forget!? He was her savior and on top of that he said he was going to be the King of the Pirates, she can't just forget his name! Sighing, Haru ignored the throbbing in her head and decided to look out for any nearby islands. Fortunately for Haru, there was an island just up ahead. A few moments later, Haru was able to dock her small ship onto the port. Yes, she was alone...for now is what she hoped. Looking for the nearest pub, Haru began her journey into the unknown city.

Luffy was in his regular pub eating some meat at the bar. Makino smiled as she was doing the dishes and serving all the others in her pub. Luffy had been coming here ever since he was a little kid, he was like a little brother to her. Today was probably one of the last times she would get to see his face, as today was his 17th birthday. and the whole village new that he had made a promise with some other guys that on each of their 17th birthdays they would set out and go hunt their dreams. Luffy's dream has always been to become the pirate king, and even though everyone knew what a clumsy guy he was, they somehow all supported him in hsi dream, because they all thought he'd deserve it best.


Julie was grabbing all of her stuff together and putt them in her yellow back pack, as she was getting ready for departure. She knew her older twin brother Luffy was down in the village enjoying his last pieces of meat before they would go. She giggled and looked at the spellbook she had once received from the lady in their library. "I'll become strong to protect him." she mummbeled to herself. Seeing as her brother ate the rubber fruit when they were children he had lost his ability to swim and Julie had to save him on multiple ocasions from drowing. That was the whole reason she'd come allong with him in the first place. She wanted to make sure he'd life long enough to make his dream come true. When she was finished with packing she went through her short black hair once more before she left their cabin in the mountains to go find her brother and get their boat ready.

Haru walked around the small village as her stomach began to make some lovely noises. Grumbling to herself in embarrassment, she began looking for a pub or some place to eat. She saw a small pub up ahead and decided that will do. As she entered the pub, she was met with the sight of how a usual pub would be. Men drinking and being boisterous about nothing in general, men looking around as if on the lookout for stuff and then there was the unusual sight of a young boy stuffing his face with meat. Haru looked a bit shocked at the amount of meat that was being stuffed into his face, just how was it even fitting?! Ignoring the questions building up in her head, Haru shook her head and began approaching the woman behind the bar counter. Softly she asked the woman, "Excuse me...can I please order some food?" She took a seat next to the young boy and glanced at him from the corner of her eyes, something about him reminded her of someone.

Luffy looked at the girl who sat next to him form the corner of his eyes. Something odd was surrounding her. He didn't knew if it was familiar or that he should watch out for her. But for now she was not trying anything funny so he just enjoyed his meat. Makino smiled and looked up from drying the glasses. "Of course you may. What is it you want?" she asked with a smile that would dazzle every man. "You're new am I right? Welcome to windmill village." she added to her question. At the mention of someone new in town most men looked up to take a good look at the girl who was sitting next to their famous endless pit of hunger. "Some new meat ay?.." they started laughing and pressed their beer against each other in the air before continuing their own activities.


Julie walked down the mountain path to the village on more time. On her way to the pub she picket up a few rocks and grinned as she stuffed them in her pockets. "I'm going to need those later on.." she said with a slight giggle. Entering the small streets of her home town filled her with nostalgia as this would be the last day in a long time she would walk them. At the end of the street was the pub to be found where she was certain her brother could be found. Entering the building lots of men looked up to see her as she laid her finger on her lips motioning with it they should not betray her and she showed them the rocks she picked up earlier on her way. Some of them started to snicker. The black haired twins had a habit of starting havoc where ever they went, especially with each other. With a big grin on her face she got ready and threw the rock with a speed through the air and hit Luffy on his backhead causing him to fell face first in the pile of meat on his plate as the whole crowd starting laughing wholeheartedly. Makino just shook her head as she watched the young female standing in her doorway. The girl was wearing a blue tanktop and white hotpants and her loyal yellow back pack was on her back. Short black hair was a little wild through the wind and her blue eyes where radiating a very mischievous aura. Being honestly Makino never thought it was a good idea to let Julie life with her brothers up in the mountains. But she didn't had much influence on that decision.
