I'm on lunch break at my job right now. I plan on posting more info. on ideas for the start of our adventure this evening. Just need feedback and input before I make the starting thread. A few still need to post their bio too. Not going to rush them though. I understand the life thing.

That was me last week with two ten page papers. It's what I get for being an English major though. X D I'm serious about the no rush thing. There is nothing that turns me off to a group more than pushy people. We're all supposed to have fun with this.

As for the starter thread, I realized that there is an important decision that we'll all have to make. Did everyone want their own special introduction into the crew played out? I personally think this would be cool since it would kind of mirror the show. If we go this route, what order should we go in? If not, should I just mass recruit everyone in the starter? Or should this be at a point where everyone has already been in the crew for a while?

^ I think this is a wonderful idea. That way we can prepare for the interactions and make it seem as though things are more set in stone; like they'd known each other for a while. I might have to post mine tomorrow though. It's getting late where I live and I'm gunna need some sleep because life.

Devil Fruit: Mori Mori no Mi ( Wood wood fruit) is Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and control wood, this ability makes the person a Wood Human. This Devil Fruit allows the user to create wood that ranges in thickness and sizes. She can give it shape and form it as she wishes to allow her to use it for anything from defense to attack or just for repair of many different things. It is believed that the wood the user uses for this Devil Fruit is wood from the Adam tree.

Skills: Other than being a masterful shipwright Ayane only has two other reasonable skills.

The first is inventing. She has a rather creative-mind and can create various different mechanical devices to serve a large number of activities when being mixed with her devil fruit these contraptions can be increased to a further level of creativity.

The second is her overall fighting prowess. Even before gaining her devil fruit she has always been a formable fighter having spent her younger years training with her father and various other pirates along with building up muscle from building and repairing ships has made her an extremely strong martial artist heavily focusing on hand to hand combat. Upon gaining her devil fruit it has enhanced her fighting style once more. By encasing her body in the wood from her devil fruit she creates an armored suit of wood that she can shape and change at will, the armor can reach a huge size however it takes a long time for the suit to reach the huge size. The suit makes her hit much harder than what she would usually and become much more durable as well as adding some ranged capabilities to her fighting style. She often doesn't use this suit in combat saving it for only when she is pressured to do so.

Personality: Hot-blooded and outgoing. Ayane is the type of girl to run into things headfirst without looking up to see the problem. She'll take to any situation with extreme fervor, always eager to get the spotlight and to "save the day." She tries her best to conduct herself with respect and leadership, but it's frequently hard for her shotgun voice to refrain from spouting a few profanities or vulgarities here and there. She's not afraid to speak her mind. She often finds herself going through periods of rest and chaotic energeticness. She generally has a positive outlook on life, and never seems to feel something is impossible or too hard to do.

Giving up or giving in is not something she'd easily do. And neither is failure. She is the type of person who takes losses and bad outcomes rather poorly; losing her temper and self-control over anything she can't seem to complete or succeed at. From simple things like games to debates, her respect can take quite a severe turn for the worst. She can be sneaky and underhanded at times when push comes to shove, but she never loses her sense of honor and fairness; "An equal opponent is a perfect opponent!"

Ayane also acts like she blasé about everything even new things, she acts like she as already seen everything and never seems to be impressed by it. They are a few odd occasions where she has been surprised in which it takes her mind a few seconds to process what going on and how it happened, which she won't move until her brain seems to have a solution normally ending badly.

Although hot-blooded and outgoing normally they are times when Ayane can get very serious mostly when the situation calls for it. When this happens her personality slightly changes mostly seen that she goes mostly quiet and stoic, she also begins to think things through more and more rather than just running in. Personally, she hates this factor but she can't do anything about it, its like a second person takes over whenever this happens and stays until it she finishes doing whatever it is she is doing.

Backstory: Ayane was born to a pirate known as Moon, however Moon wasn't your normal pirate he wasn't looking for treasures such as gold or jewels the only thing Moon was looking for were ingredients. Moons ship was called the 'Buffet Pour Tous' or the Buffet for all and that's just what the ship was, a Buffet for all and best of all for anyone hungry Moon made sure the meal was completely free. As a chef Moons cooking was of the best grade in the world, he could make a meal out of nearly anything.

Ayane spent most of her childhood with her father, trying to learn how to cook, how to fight but mostly how to survive on barely anything. Despite having a father like Moon Ayane could not for the life of her pick up cooking despite being on a ship full of cooks. Instead, Ayane often was found alongside the ships shipwright helping fix anything that went wrong with the ship, that was something she was naturally good at. Sadly all good things must come to an end. Moon ended up getting an incurable disease which would soon cost him his life. Not wanting Ayane to be left alone, Moon with the last of his strength set sail for Ayane's mother's village.

Arriving at her mother's village somewhere Ayane had no idea where it was, they were a very flamboyant looking woman waiting. Turns out that women was Winter's mother Rosa Las Vita. Picking up on Rosa's fashion sense and way of talking Ayane ended up becoming quite the flamboyant person himself. Ayane never stopped making and fixing things and eventually even got her own small shipwright yard up and running with just herself and one other female shipwright running it.

Over time the shipwright yard earned a little fame and attracted a group of pirates. The Pirates ended up getting hands-on with Ayane's co-worker. Within seconds of her saying let go Ayane was out of the ship she was working on, not a thing that happened often. Ayane asked them if they would let go of her partner but they didn't, putting the training her father taught her into play she ended up kicking all of the pirates out. Only to learn they were part of a much bigger fleet.

She noticed the pirates left an apple and with Ayane not thinking anything of it, she bit into it only to hear one of the pirates shout no. Turns out that Apple was a devil fruit one that pirates were going to give to their captain. Fleeing from the island more to protect the one girl more than anything. She began to wonder fixing ships and other things as she went making money along the way. She also discovered just what the devil fruit did and for a shipwright it was perfect.​

Devil Fruit-"Friction Friction Fruit"-The more times that Wanpan punches, as he builds up all of his attacks, the more Friction within his fists is caused and he can then unleash devastating blows to his enemies so long, as his fists connects with parts of their bodies, straight afterwards, Wanpan has to build up Friction again within his fists before he can unleash their devastating attacks once more, the process takes about 5-7 minutes to create the Friction needed for his fist attacks.

Personality-Hot blooded and hot tempered, because of his eagerness to willingly always fight, even when a fight doesn't need to be caused, Wanpan was kicked out of his Pirate Crew, the Boxing Pirates and so now lives his life on the seas, as a Bounty Hunter, not so much caring for the money earned from the Bounties that he collects but rather always looking for good challenges, always looking for, as he says "The Fight of his Life", however, until that day comes, Wanpan has only been dealing with small time rookies who have barely begun their Pirate careers, believing that they will do for now, as to pay the rent at the place he is currently resting out at, despite his very brash demeanor, Wanpan can sometimes be down to earth, accepting facts for what they are, not what both he and/or others would like them to be, he is a kind, caring, earnest individual who intends to pay the landlord whose pub he is currently staying at all the money that he owes her for allowing him to stay.

History-Toshiro was recruited around the age of 10 into the Boxing Pirates by their Captain named "Mugen Shiro" after seeing that the boy was an orphan but most especially because of his latent fighting potential in using his fists of which Mugen saw firsthand Toshiro use in order to beat up bullies threatening Toshiro's fellow orphan friends, all the orphans were taken in by Mugen and he taught them how to fight and defend themselves using both Martial Arts and Haki, Toshiro was at the top of his class but because of his brash behavior and eager recklessness to get himself into trouble, causing financial problems for the Boxing Pirates, Mugen gave Toshiro a "Time Out" from Pirating, leaving him stranded on an Island where hopefully Mugen believed Toshiro could learn from the simple folk how to live their lives, however, this only enforced Toshiro's will to fight and he decided to become a Bounty Hunter for the time being, living with a pub owner and landlord who is an old acquaintance of Mugen's to pay for the bills for the bed and food Toshiro is getting from staying at the pub, during his time, as a member of the Boxing Pirates, Toshiro's current Bounty "was"/is 150,000,000.

Appearance-Has white colored hair with a few red strands in it, he wears a line full of blue beads down his hair across in front of his right ear, has yellow eyes, wears boxing gloves, is shirtless most of the time and when not he wears a white t-shirt albeit opened all the time and exposing his chest, wears boxing briefs and shoes with patterns of stars on them, the numbers of stars shown on both the briefs and the shoes refers to how many Bounties he has collected thus far and carries a small brown gourd around him by the side of his left leg to drink water from whenever he feels thirsty.

Bounty-150,000,000.

I have a final exam on Tuesday at 8 am and will be studying for it until then. That exam marks the end of my semester though and soon I will be enjoying my summer break. That's fine. I think it's awesome that you were able to post your character. Just do what you can when you can/feel like it. This is self-paced fun. I'm actually trying to figure out a way that will allow those of us who will be more active to keep posting while those who have to be away can come and go without feeling left out. I'm thinking that whenever we know we'll be gone for a few days or so, we could make our character run off somewhere to do some sort of side quest for the crew or something. Like I said, still trying to figure out a system that will work for all of us.
