Fandom One Piece RP anyone?

I'm new to the community and am looking for people who are really into One Piece. I'm willing to rp with OCs, have a few OCs of my own, and can just rp canon characters too; whatever your heart desires. Writing is something I enjoy and One Piece is my current favorite. I'm into action, mystery, drama, and slowly built romances. Romantic tension is awesome in my opinion and it just makes the end result that much sweeter.

Rules?

1. I've been rping for a really long time and almost nothing bothers me as far as content goes. I understand that the world is ugly and I don't like to sugarcoat it. If the anime doesn't hide the world's darkness, why should we?

2. Don't God mode. I know how to take a hit and you should too. No one is going to die unless we've plotted their death.

3. Please try to have good grammar. I'm not perfect and neither is anyone else. I understand typos and little mistakes here and there but I have to be able to read and respond.

4. I'm a multi-para rper but can post shorter if that's what you're into. I prefer each post to be at least one paragraph in length.

5. Have fun. It's rp.

Wow! I'm glad there are still at least a few people who want to rp One Piece. I know the show has been around forever but I love it! I'm thinking it might be fun to start out with just us and watch it grow like in the show. x D I'm super new to this site and have only done 1x1 rps in the past on forums like this. Overview: Despite being the crew's trusted navigator, Eden is still something of a mystery almost anyone he meets. He never speaks of his past before becoming the navigator, only letting those closest to him know that he has no real family to go back to, and that he spent many years travelling and learning to and from different places. His accented voice - a deep, melodious thing - hints that he was born far, far away, but no one knows where. Still, despite the mystery surrounding his origins, Eden has shown time and time again to be an exceedingly kind-natured man, gentle and protective of everyone in the crew. A malleable sense of humor and a sharp wit are two of his favorite qualities in a person, Eden himself normally having a small, mystifying smile curling at the edges of his lips, as if he is hearing a tasteful joke that you have no idea about. He views the world through a free-spirited, coolly lidded gaze, and his absolute composure and confidence in both his choices and his way of living is more than enough to shake even the most arrogant of men. Although he is kind, and is polite to almost everyone he meets, there is an almost sadistic and domineering edge to Eden's personality. It is something like the warm sunshine before the thunderstorm - push him enough, and that warmth can just as easily turn into a searing, all-consuming heat. His morals are a bit shifty - torture and killing is something that he is fully willing to do if the person deserves it, and he won't lose a wink of sleep over it. Despite coming off as such an even-tempered and cool-headed pirate, Eden can intimidate anyone with only a slight, sadistic change in his smile and gaze.

Abilities: Having eaten the Ama Ama no Mi - otherwise known as the Sun Sun Fruit - long ago, Eden has the unique ability to transform into and manipulate solar energy. The destruction capability of his Devil Fruit is terrifying - a stark and ironic contrast to Eden's own personality. Due to this, Eden usually restrains himself heavily in order to avoid any unnecessary collateral damage or death, opting to fight very close to his opponents with a vaguely Capoeira-like martial art.

Beyond battle, Eden is a master navigator - easily able to chart a course, decipher and create maps, read the weather and sky in its entirety, and even advise the Captain on matters pertaining to strategic warfare, the world, and its very people. Eden's natural intelligence and observatory skills are second to none, and his skill as a navigator showcases this.

When I, who is called a "weapon" or a "monster", fight a real monster, I can fully realize that I am just a "human".

This is what I wanted, isn't it? To become a human, so I could die with them?

You don't know what it's like when your body isn't your own. When you're sold for 3,000,000 $ and then raped, pillaged, and plundered, over and over again. You don't know what it's like to die every day, yet still live.

Name: Marisol Lucina Jubilee.

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual

Appearance: Marisol has wideset eyes the color of a ruby, with lighter hair to match. Her skin is smooth, like ivory, and pale. She has an ample figure as well.

Abilities: Not being able to swim on the sea is a terrifying concept when you spend life on sea. She never ate any of the fruits, nor ever will. However, being the 1st mate, she has a wide range of skills. She can wield a sword well enough to defend herself, can shoot a target, and can swim very well. Her specialty is hand to hand combat, in which she has yet to be defeated in. Her style is a mixture of kickboxing and martial arts, but when it comes down to it, she can wrestle a grown man to the ground.

Weaknesses: She doesn't crap about navigation, cooking, or other basic skills. She also isn't the best at throwing knives, and can't point a cannon for shit.

Personality: Most people don't get close enough to find out what Marisol's like. Most people see her as the navy does: A skilled enough killer to have a bounty of 70,000,000 Berries for her head, dead or alive. They also know her as the "Scarlet Plague," One of the 7 deadly warlords of the sea.
These titles, as well as her past, have made her very cold. Marisol regards the world and it's inhabitants with an icy attitude, but underneath that frozen exterior is a woman with a love for children and animals.
During battle she seems to come alive. She loses her bitchy exterior and actually smiles, and indulges in playful banter. She seems actually happy, not focused on the death and destruction in the world. The only other time she's like this is when she's drunk.
Marisol has her own agenda most of the time, doing her own thing. However, nobody doubts her loyalty to the captain. She also seems oddly fond of the Navigator, and people just chalk it up to them having some sort of history.
Threaten her crew, and she'll take care of you without another word. She's not one to talk much, anyway. It's the actions that count.
Once upon her time, Marisol was a captain. But that is a different story, one she'll take to the grave. But there are rumors, though... And the only evidence is on her arm: A list of names, all of them scratched out.

Biography: Once upon a time, Marisol was royalty. She married into a royal family and lived a happy life with her husband; Until times got tough, and money got tight. The man that was supposed to love her sold her into slavery. From that moment on she was sold to the highest bidder every night.
After a year of this, Marisol made a friend in the business: A little girl named Rhea. She was only 6, but men were taken into her room each night. They developed a close relationship, Marisol taking the mother role.
The young woman hated herself for not being able to protect Rhea, and one day, it got too much. She was in her room, listening to Rhea's cries and the shaking of a mattress, when she broke her chains, kicked down the door, and shot the man in the back of the head. Rhea looked up at her savior with watering eyes, and Marisol opened her arms once more to another human. Rhea ran over, leapt into her arms, and they vanished.
They lived a happy life, and Rhea created a crew. However, with more people looking for them, the more she had to kill to keep them safe, which only increased the bounty.
One night, she and her crew were cornered. And she committed the greatest sin any pirate could do, especially a captain: Marisol deserted them. She chose her loyalty to Rhea over the Loyalty to 30 men and women who devoted their lives to her cause, and let them burn. She'll never forget their screams, to this day.

Plot takes place after current events in the canon One Piece storyline. Captain decided to abandon the crew she was with due to reasons and created her own crew. The crew doesn’t pick sides and only acts as they see fit. They aren’t for the Marines and they aren’t for other pirates necessarily. The captain views both sides as polluted and refuses to have her crew work alongside anyone due to her past and the people who helped make her what she is. Idea for crew name: Shade Pirates? Reason: Captain refuses to remove her sunglasses. [Name open for debate.]

Basic Info.

Name: AHW-0 [Government given.] Hisako [Given by blacksmith.] Lovely1 [Given by Doflamingo.]

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Appearance: Long silver hair, hawk like eyes, neck tattoo, sunglasses with white shades, pale complexion.

Background Story:

There is a faction within the government that despises ALL pirates and doesn't understand why they aren't just simply wiped out instead of being utilized and given the title of "Shichibukai." This faction manages to convince a majority that there should be a fail safe in case any of the Shichibukai need to be "dealt with." They are awarded a grant to start secret research into creating weapons that can be used against the Shichibukai if they ever decide to act against the government. In the experiment, they use strands of DNA that they've managed to collect from each of the Shichibukai in order to create entities that are born with the genetics to take them down. Lovely1 was the first to become conscious out of the group of newly developed weapons and was therefore granted the name "AHW-0” (Autonomic Humanoid Weapon) for being the first of the original. She, like other governmental experiments, had this tattooed onto her neck. There were seven of them in all.

Her fellow experiments simply did as they were told by the government and acted as sheep. The Marines were their parents and they saw them as entities that only wanted the best for them. AHW-0, knowing why they were created, surmised that the government would eventually turn their backs on them or would scrap them if they did not perform the duty in which they were created for. She dares to wonder what would happen if she was ordered to kill her Shichibukai and succeeded. Wouldn’t they fear her next? Why would hey need her anymore? This being said, she often wondered off into places restricted to them, looked through any papers or files she could get her hands on, and scoured the place for possible escape routes.

AHW-7, the one modeled after Doflamingo, got excited by the thought of hunting her Shichibukai down and asked AHW-0 if she had ever found a weak spot in the security of their facility. She wanted to go after him without government approval. AHW-0 had always found her lacking in the brain department but figured it would be a good indicator of what the government would do to them. Thus, she secretly helps her leave the facility.

AHW-7 ends up finding out the hard way that she had miscalculated the difference in strength between her and her Shichibukai. Cocky in her training, she had not yet fully developed into the fighter the government wanted her to be. She is ultimately killed off after being interrogated and researched. With all of this information, Doflamingo not only had more blackmail on the government but he also managed to find a peculiar weakness in them via Ceasar’s research.

The government decided it best to cancel the experiment and kill off the weapons they had created the moment Doflamingo made it known to the government that he was aware of their plotting and the experiment. AHW-0, having found her escape route prior to this incident and realizing what was about to happen, slipped out of the facility unnoticed.

She managed to flee to an island in the North Blue where she was taken in by an abby and eventually adopted out to an old blacksmith and his family. All of the nuns, with the exception of the one who had adopted her out, had been part of an underworld child trafficking ring and had posted a description and picture of AHW-0 to any possible underworld brokers who might take interest. Doflamingo, knowing what she was due to her eyes and odd tattoo, contacted the nuns but was too late in obtaining her. The one kind nun, had accidentally stumbled upon the advertisements that the other nuns had carelessly left out in the open. Not wanting any more of the children to be trafficked, she quickly rounded them up and set fire to the abby; destroying all evidence of AHW-0’s whereabouts in the process.

The children of the blacksmith never really understood the art of smithing and neither did their son. They had little to no passion for blades whereas AHW-0 quickly gained a passion for them and had a natural talent in making them. The blacksmith’s family grew to hate her and, when he passed away some years later; the children of the blacksmith took AHW-0 out into the forest and attempted to murder her. Throwing a pillow case over her head, stripping her of her clothing, and binding her, they lead her out into a nearby forest, found a clearing and attempted to slit her throat. Luckily for AHW-0, they had used a dull blade that failed to cut deep enough and lacked basic knowledge in wielding blades. They knew little to nothing about vital striking points. Thinking they had successfully slit her throat, they threw her in a shallow grave and left her to die.

She played dead and remained under the cool damp soil before frantically digging herself up out of the grave. She was too young to know where to go and ultimately decided to live in the forest that she had uprooted herself out of. Rumors quickly spread on the small island as the islanders reported sightings of her. The islanders already feared her due to the fact that she had hawk like eyes reminiscent of Mihawk’s. They had even thanked the blacksmith’s family for sacrificing their feelings and getting rid of what was sure to be a threat to the rest of the island. When they found out that she supposedly came back from the dead, they completely rejected her and tried to do her harm. The stronger people of the village planned to raid the forest and entered in the hopes of hutting her down. This eventually escalated to the island voting to burn the forest down completely.

It was at that point that she decided it best to brave the sea on her own and die by the ocean’s hand if need be. She spent the next few years of her life trying to survive and often times ran from pirates and Marines alike. She would eventually end up in the reconstructed Impel Down and thrown into a cell with a shackled Doflamingo. He weaves his web of half truths around her, influences her to take training seriously and treats her as if he understands her; as if she were a person worthy of being alive. Being a blacksmith, she manages to create a makeshift lock pick and picks his locks before escaping with him. From there, he trains her, helps in destroy the village she once hailed from, and makes her a key component of his family. It is in his family that she receives the code name “Lovely1.”

Their partnership turns sour, however, when he makes a proposal that doesn’t sit with her well. She refuses to tell anyone what that proposal was and even works on building up a crew in retaliation.


Personality:

-As stated, she never takes off her sunglasses due to how much she hates her eyes.

-Has an odd affinity for chocolate and enjoys an occasional glass of wine.

-Has severe trust issues.

-Is easily angered. Especially around those who are not in her circle.

-Can be super sarcastic and have a smart mouth around those who deserve it.

-Enjoys toying with people and getting a rise from others.

Inhuman Abilities Due to Her Creation:

-Can still feel pain like anyone else but heals at an accelerated rate. Cons: Drugs, whether recreational or medical, have no effect on her; therefore, she can receive no relief for any pain inflicted on her. Pros: Injuries typically heal completely and leave no mark on her within a 24 hr. period.

-Has the odd ability to manipulate haki in ways unseen before. Example: She can project her haki from her fingers in the form of strings, mimicking Doflamingo’s devil fruit ability.

-Was originally genetically designed to mimic Mihawk’s abilities and is a natural born swordsman.

-Sleep cycle is abnormal and she only sleeps at a certain hour on a certain day within a week’s time. Sunday at 7pm to be exact. This changes with time zones though so it’s too difficult for her to figure out on her own. Once she is asleep during this hour, it is impossible to wake her up. Only those she gives her seldom trust to are given the task of guarding her body at this time.

-Regular fruit can weaken her if ingested and devil fruit can kill her. She detests fruit because of this. The scientists that created her genetically modified her in this way to prevent her from gaining additional abilities through a devil fruit.

Personality: Aslan is a young and energetic mink who haves a rather playful nature. Whenever he fight his foes, Aslan loves to taunt and get under the skin of his enemies. However, when the battle gets more tough , Aslan becomes serious and more Ruthless. Just like most teenagers, Aslan can be abit of a hand full. He's abit rude, Sarcastic , And hardheaded..not to mention childish. Despite his rather immature nature, the young mink will do anything to help his friends and will buckle down if he have to

Background : When Aslan was three, Zou was attacked by a fleet of human hunters who manged to find the island. Although the minks fought bravely, They where overwhelmed and outnumbered, resulting in their captured. Aslan was captured along with his parents, however, when they reached Sabaody Archipelago his parents where sold in a auction a day later. Aslan was sold a year later to a wealthy man in Alabasta where he spend five hard years as an slave. Aslan couldn't stand how this man was treating him much longer and killed one night, using his electro abilities.

A few moments after his death, a group of assassins found that Aslan had killed their target, Electric was flowing throughout his body. The leader of this group had saw nothing but sadness and hate, but potential in this young mink's eyes. He was impressed that someone his age had manged to take down an important man, so the leader decided to take Aslan in although the leader of whole group of assassins disagreed with his idea.

Aslan was trained to become a assassin, becoming extremely close to the man he called father. He trained in not only in swordplay, but in hand to hand combat ( mainly martial arts) and has even learn how to hone his electro abilities. He officially became an assassin at a young age, in fact he was one of the strongest besides the boss. After his promotion, he was given a red scarf and became an hired assassin the the rest of group. It didnt take him to get a bounty on his head
